i wanna start a tournament blog (not for dun mesh, a dif fandom) and I was wondering if you had any tips/advice? I adore how this blog is run n would love any pointers ya got!

To be honest, I'm not sure if I have much general advice. I just sort of started this blog by copying what I'd seen elsewhere, and it went from there. Here's some general tips:

Prepare tournaments well in advance. I usually have all the contestants' pictures saved and the tentative first bracket made by the time I announce the tournament, except in tournaments where the contestants are people's submissions. Often times I even have those for yet-to-be-announced tournaments that I want to run at some point. That way, I don't have to worry about getting everything ready at the last moment and I can instead just post everything when the time comes.

Use a masterpost for every tournament with the tournament's rules and links to all the polls. It helps to keep track of things.

Running tournaments like this is purely a hobby, so remember to treat it like a hobby. Take breaks when you feel you need to, and don't skip stuff you need to do in order to run a tournament blog.
