Okay so there are these two mollies

Mothglow was born in the Clan, and she was a pretty average warrior

Some side notes for Mothglow:

She had the daring trait in her youth, but now she’s bloodthirsty… and also the Clan’s only mediator

She’s a colorpoint lady! I love points in Clangen a reasonable amount

She adopted a kitten abandoned by its mother because mother was sick, so Mothglow essentially went “okay, free real estate”

Then, around the time that her adoptive daughter (Milkweed) was apprenticed, a former street cat came into the Clan with her litter of three kittens, because their father was a shitty person and she needed an escape

Her name was Savvy, and her kids were named Faith, Whimsy, and Dream (super cute names)

And Mothglow, who missed being a mother, immediately took stock in the nursery to help Savvy raise her kittens, because this was the first litter she’d ever had and she was shaken from her bad past relationship

And they grew really close as good friends alongside the cleric, Tanglecloud, who they both also kind of viewed as a daughter figure

THEN, Mothglow got knocked up by some random guy she was fooling around with when Savvy’s litter was about five moons or so, and she ALSO had a litter of three

When Savvy’s kits were apprenticed, she took the name Savvysong

Then Savvysong’s eldest daughter, Faithpurr, was hit by a car and died, and Mothglow was her biggest comfort … THEN one of Mothglow’s kittens (she had three boys) died to kittencough

And so they grieved together for a while

But Mothglow was getting on in years at this point, so she decided to retire to become an elder once her two sons grew up (one of them got snatched by humans, too, so she only has one son left and her adoptive daughter (who is now also a mother!!))

And then literally in the next month Savvysong retires early to join her

And then the game has stated the CUTEST announcement of them becoming mates: “It’s like- like shedding fur to find a new color underneath, Mothglow explains. Savvysong has been such an important friend and companion… Is it so surprising that both their feelings have evolved in this new direction to become mates?”

So now they’re old lesbian grandmas together and I love it. So much

Taking our new Edward Green Dark Oak Dover’s 32 last out for a walk. The 32 last is one of the oldest EG lasts, the forefather of the classic 202. ⁣ ⁣ The toebox is slightly more tapered than the 202 but wider than the 82.
