they both love to hear about the things you like; music included! granted, you won't often hear them say it out loud, especially from anti, but hey, it's the thought that counts, yeah?

outwardly, anti scoffs at whatever you're making him listen to, acting like its an inconvenience, but there's a reason he lets you play the music for him anyways. he often actually likes the songs and artists you introduce him to; even the ones that seem WAY out of character for him to enjoy. turns out he actually has pretty broad music taste

"dude, this song fuckin' sucks." (his head has been nodding to the beat since it started playing)

of course, his preferences lean more towards rock, death metal, breakcore, and dubstep, which is the type of music he'll blast loud enough to be heard through the entire house without any shame. but, if you occasionally make him listen to a sappy love song or a pop song too catchy for it's own good, you might catch him listening to it with headphones on at 3am.

he tends to get really into his music too, for lack of better phrasing. listening to music can change his entire mood, for better or for worse; naturally, he prefers music that'll get him fuckin pumped up !!!!

and then, we have dark. his taste in music is a lot more enclosed; he tends to prefer slower, gentle music, often in the circle of classical, jazz, swing, sometimes opera and even musical theatre when he's feeling more dramatic. he'd probably take a liking to the rocky horror picture show.

that being said though, he's willing to listen to whatever you'd like him to listen to; he can tell it means something to you, and he'll trust your judgement.

"hm, this is... interesting. who did you say composed this? i'll have to take a look into their catalogue later."

he's not super likely to actively enjoy or seek out a lot of the music you show him, as he generally just doesn't like a lot of modern music. there's definitely the occasional exception though.

maybe try to avoid stuff that's too energetic (anything that anti would like basically), as it can give him headaches.

i imagine trying to jam out with both of them would be a little difficult considering their very very opposing music tastes (anti thinks dark's music is boring, dark thinks anti's music is just mindless noise).

Time to talk/rant about our system for a moment because I feel like we don't do it enough :3

So we had a system reset two weeks ago, and we're working on getting everything back and 'working' again.

[fictive of Darkiplier] The temporary host, Sunflower, is an OG (was part of the first/original system), he used to be a little, but he grew up and is now an age regressor instead. He is now 15, which he's still getting used to (his age jumped from 3-5 to 15, so it was a big and sudden change). They're nonbinary (he/they/flower), and always have been, which is surprising, considering that usually our littles struggle to grasp the concept of gender. Flower's very smart for their age, and is extremely talented (writing, drawing, video editing).

[brainmade, fictionkin of Virgil and Roman Sanders] Then there's the system bridger (helps us communicate between the main system and subsystems), Quill/Aries, which uses they/them. They have only fronted once, and got front stuck instantly, which I find very interesting. They're also an information manager, which makes sense cuz they're the only one that can communicate between systems within our body. They're very kind and they *love* Minecraft.

[OCtive] Then there's the babysitter, Varyn (it/it's), who's just a chill teenager (17) who doesn't really like kids, other than Sunflower. It's a tall shadow creature with a lot of green eyes, which is super cool imo.

[fictive] Night (he/red/void), who doesn't have a role but is a chill dude who's fun to talk to. He plays Minecraft, mostly. He might be a hyperfixation holder.

[brainmade] Nameless (xe/xey/kit/paw), who we've nicknamed Bunny cuz xe has white bunny ears in the headspace. Xey're also role-less, but they hope to become a protector after kit finishes figuring xemself out. Paw is also possibly our calico cat kin holder.

[fictive] Then there's god himself, DreamXD (it/he/god), who is our empathy holder and our in-sys protector, which is neat. He mostly fronts to listen to music or to play Animal Crossing/Minecraft/Human Fall Flat, which are his three faves.

my point? I want to know why we can't ship these characters when it's literally no different from shipping from movies, tv shows, books, etc. I understand how the cast feels, and I have an extremely hard time believing that it's not rooted in homophobia, especially from kister.

Meet the person behind the blog

Hi so I thought I would make this so I could get it off my mind. For starters-

My blog is not for kids!

It's PG-15 at least. I cover dark topics and I pull no punches. So, be aware. Some of my fics might be lighthearted, but that is not a blanket rule. Most of the time even the fluff fics have some dark themes.

I write based on personal experiences. My trauma and my mental health basically coat my writings like thick paint.

I write The Markiplier Cinematic Universe, IRIS, and Lego Monkie Kid fics. Sometimes I might just post something that's on its own, but that'll be rare.

Any and all things in these fics are based on my interpretation of the canon media and my personal headcanons.

Don't be surprised if I blip in and out of existence. Consistency doesn't exist here.

I do write ship and non-ship fics. Depends how I'm feeling on any given day.

I write mostly GN or Male povs if I do reader fics. Which will probably be rare.

I don't have evidence bc I left that discord server a long time ago, plus it was years ago.

But I will never forget that one person on Markiplier's server who kinned Darkiplier so much it triggered them if anybody roleplayed as him when they were online. Not sure, but I think even the mods didn't have any problems with that.

I was a child both technically and also compared to that person but I was so fed up with that I literally fought them about it in server.

I will respect triggers, but thinking you own a character in the server of the creator himself, then it's just bullshit entitlement.

I always wanted to see how they would react if Mark decided to be active and for fun rp as Dark a little.
