Headcanon that Willy Wonka likes to be choked
It doesn't have to be suffocating pressure. Just his significant other's hands on his throat and the slight pressing of her weight is enough to drive him crazy
If she wraps her hands around his throat while kissing or feeling him up, and squeeze just enough, even during a playful argument, he'll be turned on almost instantly and forget his train of thought. It's a devious trick she likes to pull when she wants his attention but he's been too focused elsewhere
If it's during the throngs of passion, choking him especially with more force and when he's close, will sometimes result in explosive, drawn-out orgasms that has him seeing stars, whimpering, trembling, and sometimes mumbling nonsense afterwards
Just Willy and choking ❤️

'Although Interstellar frequently ranks among Christopher Nolan’s best movies, there’s no denying that the project would’ve been completely different with Cillian Murphy in the lead role of Cooper instead of Matthew McConaughey. Murphy later went on to be Nolan’s leading man in Oppenheimer, but casting the actor earlier could’ve been a fascinating choice from Nolan that would’ve changed Interstellar on a fundamental level. There are plenty of differences between Murphy and McConaughey that would’ve had a massive impact on the movie.
The question comes after Murphy revealed he wished he’d been in Interstellar in an interview, claiming that it was an extremely moving story that had a huge effect on him. The actor is a long-time collaborator of Nolan’s, working with him on movies such as Inception and The Dark Knight previously, so it wouldn’t have been totally unprecedented for him to appear in Interstellar either. While it’s great that McConaughey was ultimately cast and given a chance to bring his own take on the character, it would’ve been fascinating to see how Murphy tackled it differently.
Murphy’s Subtler Acting Style Could’ve Made The Emotional Beats More Internal
The most obvious difference between Murphy and McConaughey is their distinctive acting styles, and this would’ve had an enormous impact on the way Interstellar tells its story and presents its emotional beats. McConaughey’s casting was an inspired choice because he’s very outward with his emotions, really projecting how Cooper feels through his voice and physicality. Murphy’s typical acting is much more internal and restrained, (which he displayed upon working with Nolan on Oppenheimer). The actor is known for expressing his emotions more subtly, which could’ve made Cooper a totally different character that audiences don’t completely understand at first.
Interstellar would’ve been a much more cerebral and challenging project with Murphy’s subtle acting style at the forefront, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Forcing the audience to consider how Cooper might be feeling instead of displaying it so openly might’ve made viewers connect with the character more. Murphy could’ve definitely brought this quality to the character.
Murphy’s Existing Friendship With Nolan Could’ve Made Interstellar More Personal
Another aspect that’s different about Murphy is that he’d already worked with Nolan several times in the past, most notably playing the character of Jonathan Crane in the Dark Knight trilogy. This previous experience could’ve made him a more fitting candidate for Interstellar, as he already understood how Nolan’s process works and his specific vision as a storyteller. He would’ve been a much safer choice, and while it’s clear that McConaughey absolutely nailed the role anyway, Murphy’s friendship with Nolan could’ve made Interstellar more personal and authentic - particularly since it’s a story that’s extremely important to both men regarding their own children and position as fathers.
Murphy’s Experience Playing Astronauts Could’ve Made Him More Believable In The Role
Over the course of his career, Cillian Murphy has starred in multiple sci-fi movies, including one from several years before Interstellar where he plays a scientist on a mission to save the sun from destruction. This movie, Danny Boyle’s Sunshine, explores very similar themes to Interstellar, with humankind fighting against nature to protect themselves and understand their place in the universe. Murphy must’ve gathered plenty of useful knowledge and experience on the Sunshine set that he could’ve brought to Interstellar, whereas McConaughey had never really done sci-fi on that scale before. This would’ve probably made Murphy more believable as Cooper, since he’d done something very similar in the past.
Murphy’s Casting Would’ve Caused A Dark Knight Reunion With Hathaway
Interestingly, Interstellar wasn’t the first time that Anne Hathway had worked with Nolan either, having played the character of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. This would’ve also made for an entertaining reunion between Murphy and Hathaway if he’d been cast in McConaughey’s place, potentially even giving the two characters an entirely new dynamic and chemistry. The pair didn’t share too many scenes in The Dark Knight Rises, but they likely got to know each other on-set and could’ve used this to develop the friendship between Cooper and Brand.
Murphy Would’ve Made A Slightly Younger Cooper
Although it’s not too much of a difference, Murphy is actually several years younger than McConaughey, so his version of Cooper would’ve been a slightly less mature and potentially more irresponsible one. It’s unclear whether Nolan would’ve actually rewritten Cooper to fit with Murphy’s younger age, but it definitely would’ve changed the character’s background at least. Maybe with a younger protagonist, Interstellar’s themes of climate change and protecting the next generation would’ve hit even harder. There are plenty of profound moments that make the audience think in Interstellar, and a younger Cooper would’ve really emphasized the risks of this mission.
Interstellar Could’ve Made Murphy A Leading Man
At the time of Interstellar’s release, McConaughey was a much more famous and popular actor than Murphy. The latter had scored several high-profile roles in movies such as 28 Days Later and Batman Begins, but he didn’t have the ‘leading man’ quality that he would eventually discover in Oppenheimer. Perhaps if he’d been cast as Cooper in Interstellar, Murphy’s career would’ve taken an entirely new direction and he’d have been cast in several other lead roles in the subsequent years. McConaughey’s career didn’t exactly need the boost, but Interstellar could’ve been a real breakthrough for Murphy.
Cooper’s Children May Have Been Cast Differently
Another aspect of Interstellar that may have been indirectly changed as a result of Murphy’s hypothetical casting is Cooper’s children: Nolan may have chosen different actors to play Murph and Tom to capture a better resemblance to their father. He probably wouldn’t have ousted Jessica Chastain from the role, but it’s certainly possible that younger versions of Cooper’s children might’ve been cast differently. This could’ve prevented actors such as Timothee Chalamet and Mackenzie Foy from starring in the project - all of whom brought something unique to their characters.
Murphy In Interstellar Might Have Prevented Murphy In Oppenheimer
Cillian Murphy is among the best actors in Oppenheimer, and he really uses the opportunity to prove the extent of his talent in any role. It’s been a huge moment for the actor, with many audiences finally realizing just how much he outshines the rest of the cast when given the opportunity. However, if Murphy had been cast in Interstellar all those years ago, it’s possible that Nolan wouldn’t have gone on to cast him as the lead in Oppenheimer. The director might’ve wanted to shake things up a little and work with somebody new, which could’ve prevented Murphy from ever landing the role that redefined his career.'

IF you fancast Blaise Zabini you're lowkey just racist? Blaise is CANONICALLY a dark-skinned man, why are you fan casting white or light-skinned men? "he has little screentime!" "hardly any photos of Louis!" you've made edits of Ben Barnes in a quidditch outfit and Timothy Chalamet in a Slytherin uniform when they aren't even in the films, you can just as easily edit him in if you don't have the content you want to do better. People make edits to movie Blaise all the time, stop erasing his looks to suit a bias. SOME OF YOU ACT LIKE JK!

Dune (2021)
Tumblr media
Even upon a rewatch, 2021’s Dune: Part One is spectacular. The memorable, foreboding score by Hans Zimmer, the costumes that bring this world to life, the scale of the action and the unique sets, ship & weapon designs all come together to complement a story of mythical scale. After seeing this film, two thoughts start competing for your brain’s attention. 1) If Frank Herbert’s Dune was adapted this successfully, then no work is unfilmable and 2) the sequel can’t come soon enough.
In 10191, the universe is ruled by an Emperor who assigns the exploitation of planets to powerful ruling houses. Interstellar travel is possible through “spice” a substance found exclusively on the harsh desert planet of Arrakis. For 80 years, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård) and his house have overseen the harvest of spice. Now, Duke Leto I (Oscar Isaac) of House Atreides is the new steward of Arrakis but only for as long as the flow of spice continues. This shift puts House Atreides, particularly the Duke’s son, Paul (Timothy Chalamet), in danger.
At 155 minutes, you’d think this movie would feel long, but it doesn’t. One of the reasons is that there’s a lot within to keep your mind busy. What’s a Freman? What’s a Kwisatz Haderach? What’s “the voice”? If director Denis Villeneuve tried to cram this story into 90, or even 120 minutes, it would move so quickly that all these questions would leave you in the dusty sands of Arrakis (that’s the planet, right?). By taking its time while moving at a good pace the film allows you - in time - to answer all of your questions. Since you understand what’s happening, you’re engaged. It helps that if you can’t remember what each name means, the visuals pick up the ball. The grotesque, scheming Baron Vladimir Harkonnen is clearly a villain. It's particularly obvious once you see his nephew, the psychotic and childish Glossu Rabban (Dave Bautista). You know you can’t trust the Bene Gesserit because their leader, Reverend Mother Mohiam (Charlotte Rampling) makes Paul take a painful, life-threatening test to prove he isn’t a threat himself. These are only a few of the many examples I could choose and they show how the story is both complex and easily digestible.
Even without the gripping story filled with backstabbings, political intrigue, violence, quests for revenge and harrowing struggles for survival, Dune would still have you tightly in its grip. Throughout, Paul’s psychic abilities give him visions. They foretell the future… sort of. They give hints of what’s coming but hints are not the same as clear answers. These all tie to this planet he’s on; a world that doesn’t end where the screen does. The details in the dialogue, sets and costumes make you wish the Harkonnens would just chill, and save their grudge for later. This way, you’d have time to see House Atreides befriend the Fremen and familiarize themselves with their customs.
There’s so much happening in this film that some of it you won’t “get” until later. For example, the early assassination attempt on Paul’s life. The would-be killer? A Harkonnen cutthroat, hidden in a bedroom wall. What kind of wealth, power and/or terrifying influence could persuade someone to take on that sort of assignment, knowing they would have to wait in darkness for weeks, slowly starving to death, just to kill a boy?
The passion within Dune is as clear as its ambition. You’re only getting half of a movie with it, but this choice feels like a necessity, rather than a Breaking Dawn-type of cash-grab or an attempt to start another franchise for a money-hungry studio. It certainly doesn’t feel presumptuous. Everything we see feels important; like it’s building up to not just one, but many bigger character arcs in a world that contains hundreds of stories. You know the threads that are left hanging will be tied up - that’s the kind of confidence all of the artists at work instill in you. Dune/Dune: Part One is a film that’s going to be remembered. Dune: Part Two - a step up from part one in every way...
As someone who admired the craft of the first Dune, but was left a little disappointed by it overall, I was still looking forward to Dune: Part Two, because I knew that a major part of the story would unfold in the movie. Added to that was the exceptional reception of the movie. Having watched it this evening, I will say that while the movie is not flawless, it is a significant improvement on the first film in almost every way.
The craft of the film is still phenomenal, except at an even bigger scale. The visuals, the sets, the costuming, the score, the effects, the cinematography etc... are all incredible. The clarity of Denis' vision of this world and the various different people is palpable. The film is also a lot better paced. Not perfect, mind you, because there are still portions that are too slow, and some portions that are too fast. But it is a significant improvement over the first movie in this aspect. In a way, this movie has the opposite problem of having too much story and too many characters to juggle. As a result, some characters don't get the weight that I wished and some story points don't get the explanation or expansion that I desired. But given the density of the book, Denis manages to pack a lot very successfully. The film's visuals deserve to get praised. There are so many shots that are frameworthy.
The cast is fantastic across the board. Timothy Chalamet owns the screen. He has to play the character at different stages of evolution and he does a phenomenal job translating that. Zendaya gets to be the film's moral center in her most impressive movie performance to date. Her character is probably one that is an improvement from the book. Similarly, Rebecca Ferguson as Jessica is scary good, delivering a similar transformation as Timothy, but in a way, even more scary. Javier Bardem as Stilgar is great. His character's arc is incredibly important in the movie, but he also adds some much needed humor at times. Austin Butler is the new entry that stands out in this movie. He is fiercesome in the role of Feyd and I wish we had more of him. Similarly, Stellan Skarsgard only has a handful of scenes, which he makes the most of. Same goes for Josh Brolin, who returns in the back half of the movie. Florence Pugh is solid but her role does seem to be more for setup for the next film. Same with Anya Taylor-Joy's cameo. Dave Bautista is solid, if a bit one dimensional as Rabban. Charlotte Rampling is suitable menacing the Reverend Mother. Lea Seydoux has a small role as well and makes an impression. Christopher Walken is somewhat disappointing as the Emperor, as he seems to be sleepwalking through a fairly thankless role. Perhaps that comes from expectations from a Christopher Walken performance, but he really only gets one quick scene where he gets to make any impact.
All in all, it was definitely a movie that was a memorable experience. I could feel the awestruck silence. I don't quite think it is on par with The Dark Knight, The Two Towers, and The Empire Strikes Back when it comes to epic second chapters in a major saga, but its still pretty damn good and its definitely worth watching in IMAX. Overall, an 8.5/10

Summary:
“I like looking at pretty things. And like any other person, I like keeping some of them around. Is there any harm in that?” He grants himself the luxury of dragging his leering eyes down her back. “Can I keep you?” he laments in a soft and soothing low voice as his fingers dance down her spine, to the dip at the end of her back. He doesn’t sound like himself and instead sounds more predatory. “I think I’m gonna,” he hums, hands making their dastardly slow way to the small of her back. “Willy? What’re you doing?” “Promise me you won’t leave me for so long again. Be mine and only mine.”
Or,
[ ALTERNATIVELY - Willy finally gets the courage to pursue his now-ex employee but believes he needs the help of absinthe. He's determined to have her by any means, even seducing her by force. ]

Let's talk about my body. I'm a muscle head...sort of, depending on who you ask. If you ask Timothy Chalamet, I'm a god. If you ask a 1990s Arnold Schwarzeneggar, I'm a puny little man. I look at myself in the mirror and feel pretty content with where my body is for the most part, which is a far cry from where I was. I have spent years--actual decades, I won't name how many, but we'll say more than one--in the gym. I have spent those years addicted to the pump and lamenting its ultimate deflation and return to my body's baseline. But I'd always go back, because I wanted to look like the John Cenas and the Rocks. "If I just keep going..." "If I just eat more protein..." "If I just try this supplement..." "If I just try this different routine..."
I kept going and I kept going, very few breaks if any. Consistently, every week. On vacation. During my years at school. On summer breaks. After work. In the mornings, in the afternoons, in the late night after my shifts in food service. I prioritized it so very much. This is still so today. Six days a week, now. In all that time, up until around my mid-30s, I never looked how I truly wanted. I still looked like a twinky boy. I looked like a boy who walked like he was supposed to be a man of a different physique, because, some part of me sometimes believed it. At one point I discovered weight gainer supplement; I became stronger within a few weeks and became addicted to throwing up more weight than I'd ever lifted before. It was a game changer. Unfortunately, I'd hit a plateau and got pretty plump. Boy, was my ass phat though. I had black men and older daddies trying to get in my butt. My butt was powerful, it was my power.
You think I wanted to lose my new flat bench max? And my phat fuckable butt? Hell no. So I held that 40-50 extra pounds of weight...I tolerated that windedness, the tight clothes, the elevated heart rates after a short walk, that sweating for no god-damn reason, for upwards of three years, all out of fear I'd lose my only perceived source of love: my fuckability and my ability to lift.
I'd intermittently get plump and "bulk," and lean out, on repeat for close to another 8 years, never quite seeing the man I wanted to see in the mirror. Sure I'd take a pic and be like, "not bad," but for the most part, I looked soft, sometimes bulky depending on what "phase" of body I was in. Generally, I'd say looking back, I probably looked my best when I was little more slim. If I'm being honest, at the time, having a fuckable butt was something I was scared to lose. Doesn't that sound crazy? Or does it sound common? I can't imagine feeling that way now.
So what changed? Well, I had broken up with my boyfriend around 2019. It was a horrible relationship but the sex was great (a recurring theme I'll touch on later.) I had badmouthed steroids for years, always said I wanted to be natural or "natty." (If any of this sounds familiar, it's because you've probably heard some little newbie at the gym or commenting on a muscle head's social media post spouting the same nonsense...) But, I had said, almost as if I had planned it, "if we break up I'm *doing* steroids." As fate would have it, a coworker of mine offered me some old vials of unused prescription testosterone right around when that relationship finally ended. He committed a felony by distributing them; I committed one by accepting them. I always pictured the exchange of controlled substances as some dark-alley deal but, no, I had done so right in the comfort of my office. Just before the COVID pandemic picked up steam in the United States, I'll never forget injecting that little fucking 0.25 mL dose into my left buttock, right outside my gym in the parking lot in the front seat of my car. Oh, the excitement.
For those of you who don't know, 0.25 mL of testosterone is nothing. I was basically partially shutting down my testicular function and replacing it with injectable testosterone. It was lol-able to those in the know, because I did this for many weeks. This should signal just how blind I was to what on earth I was doing. But I finally talked around and got the courage to do more. Fuck, I felt great when I bumped my dose to 0.75. I started seeing a pretty good change until I ran out. So I read up on cycling and took the dive. I bought some overseas gear...the big stuff. T cyp and tren. Oh fuck yea, I dove head first. I was ready. And being the black-and-white codependent muscle head FUCK I was, I said "If I'm going to do this, I'm going to just go full tilt" I was injecting around 500 mg T cyp and around 700 mg Tren E on that first cycle. I ate like a pig, because I was so toxically attached to this idea of "holding onto it" after I came off cycle. Fuck I was plump. I was PLUUMMP. I also fucked like a pig, ready to go just about any time, anywhere, and damn near down to do just about whatever nasty masculine activity with another dude you can think of (damn near....not completely lol)
Then, around week 9 or so, I started to feel sick. Just generally sick. But I pushed and I pushed, kept injecting, kept eating, kept lifting. I checked my labs and they were a wreck. An inflammatory marker said I had a 30% chance of a heart attack in the next year. My cholesterol was through the roof. Yup. I can't imagine why! Naturally, I stopped right around week 12. Let me just say, no amount of PCT (post-cycle therapy) could prepare me for the crash 2-3 weeks post cycle. I suddenly was not a god. I was not a sex pig. I was not veined and horned. I was...depressed, sad, emotional, dumpy. But, it bounced back and I felt normal once again.
Then I received my "invitation."

I get that but they could cast like a 19 year old guy that has those features and looks young?
Even if you say dyed Timothy Chalamet's hair dark red he'd be a closer match than the guys they cast
Why do they never make Armand Armand? They always make him be played by a grown man with dark or blonde hair, he's meant to have reddish chestnut hair. His point is not that he's a good looking man he is meant to be an eerily beautiful young Russian boy. Hes not Antonio Banderas rofl thats a whole ass man
He's meant to look young, similar to Claudia who they do always cast young looking enough or close enough. He's forever 15 where Claudia is forever a child why get that wrong lol it's literally the point of the book??
