I once more believe Battinson Batman needs to be given a child. Or multiple. Multiple children. I am also once more rotating Ghosts Have Wings Au. 

So Batman, still early in his whole vigilante career ends up busting a shipment, nothing too surprising there. Pretty usual honestly. Except for what was in one of the crates already open. Because it looks like some sort of gemstones but… perfectly spherical. Strange. Suspicious. 

But it’s also late, er, early in the morning, and the GCPD is notoriously corrupt, so like, he’s not going to just leave the weird gemstones, each about the size of a plum or so. (Dear Gotham he’s apparently hungry, and might inwardly vow to never let anyone realize what his tired mind decided to use as measurement) 

So he, unknowingly spurred on by more than just a slight bit of ecto contamination, takes the strange spheres back home. Just puts them in his pockets and heads back to the manor that they moved back into after the whole Riddler mess. (He even found a cool cave! With a bunch of terrifying bats, but they made a glass separator! For safety!) 

But in Bruce’s defense of forgetting about them, he’s more than a little tired and hungry and just wants to sleep for a bit, y’know? So maybe he forgets about the gems as he falls asleep in the chair in the cave (Alfred was not pleased!) until he starts digging around for them. Erm. Did they fall out somewhere?? There’s no holes in his belt pockets… 

And maybe these sort of things shouldn’t slip his mind, the spheres had felt Weird with a capital W, but he gets forced to a circus and there’s an… accident. So maybe he pushed it away as not important because there’s now an angry grieving eight-year old living with him and he’s panickedly reading any and all sort of parenting books he can get a hold of because he has no clue what he’s doing. 

Yeah, maybe his back is itching like crazy no matter what he tries, and maybe he threw up the other day, but it’s fine. This is fine.

“Don’t lie to me. I can sense another life within you.” Luke pressed.

“I told you, it’s not true. I just ate something that didn’t sit right with me…” Din could barely convince himself, but he needed to deny it out loud. He needed to hear the denial himself…

Yet, deep down, Din knew what Luke said was the truth. He just couldn’t bring himself to accept it. Having a child with Luke only meant shackling himself to a fate from which he could never escape. The shattering sound of his dreams of freedom was deafening.

Went back to read Sith Luke/Din, and I couldn’t help but jump out of my original drawing schedule and drew a piece for them, I missed drawing dark things😈

Although it feels like there’s a connection, this piece is not a prequel to my last artwork, I’d like to think that my baby boys of LukeDin and BobaDin were born into a warm family with loving parents! I’m not saying there’s no love between Sith Luke and Din, it’s just… “different”, you know what I mean😛

Din might be an Omega or an intersex here? Intersex is not a common setting, but I kinda like lt. I mean, anything can happen in the distant future, right? There’s probably some kind of species that looks like humans but is a bit different “down there”, and also Mpreg won’t be a mystery anymore!

Aw, I hope there’s more Mpreg Din out there in the fandom (especially in DinLuke)! It’s definitely a lot of fun to see Din, who is such a mother hen and worrywart, become pregnant, or be extremely reluctant to be pregnant because of his duty for providing and saving the world, or just like my artwork, he has doubts about his toxic relationship with Sith Lord Luke. Either way, it’s a subject worth writing about, my dearest and brilliant writers…🥹🙏🏻✨

Guide book confirms that neither subclass nor Servamps have any reproductive capability 😔 no Alicein dhampirs for me <-probably going to ignore that bit as it suits me anyway

At the same time, Strike says that vampires in and of themselves are more like illusions than living beings and their appearance and even bodily functions rely on both self perception and outward perception soooo (example: if you or they believe they have a heartbeat or should have a heartbeat, they will) TECHNICALLY, a vampire MIGHT be able to self suggestion themselves into having the necessary components to have a child. Although it would prooobably require a steady diet of blood to maintain any significant changes they want to make to themselves or their body…?

Apparently this is also why characters like Belkia and Higan can undergo such drastic physical changes, becoming a literal doll and a much younger version of himself, respectively. Also related to the weird ways their clothes work, like Lawless’s scarf appearing after he has a mental breakdown over Ophelia, and later the way it starts to mimic the wings on Licht’s backpack as they get closer, Ildio’s tattoo changing shape, Kuro’s coattails moving, Freya’s dress changing from one panel to another (I think), Sakuya’s suspenders, and the Wrath pair’s badass wardrobe change in general.

If a vampire wants to badly enough, they can change anything about themselves, if I’m understanding what was said correctly (does this mean Belkia’s hair isn’t actually dyed? I’m choosing to think it is and he instead uses a vampire’s ability for illusions and hypnotism to hide when the roots are coming in lol)

Presumably this would also mean that Higan and Hugh aren’t the only vampires who can adjust their physical ages to some degree. I’m still uncertain whether Lily’s baby appearance was something he did on purpose, a side effect of inner turmoil with his demon, or related to the contract in some fashion. The reason I’m not sure if it’s a contract thing despite him making it pretty clear he could understand everything around him perfectly when he struck out at Tsurugi that one time is because Strike also revealed the distance limit consequences for the other pairs, and Lust’s was stated to be turning into an infant, so?? Not to mention Lily is the only Servamp whose Item wasn’t broken specifically by Tsubaki. Shrugs??

Anyway, I wonder if they can only go to ages they’ve experienced…? Hugh is an odd case where his body never grew up but the personality in control of that body absolutely got old lol. Oh man, now that he can use Tetsu’s coffin to grow up… Does that mean there will come a point when he stays an adult a majority of the time to care for his aging Eve… My heart……

But yeah, uhhh basically what I’m asking is… If Sakuya wanted it badly enough, could he grow up alongside his friends…… Could he act out the life he never got to live originally and do so knowing it’s not a lie because the people that matter already know the truth.

Can he move forward and learn to think of himself as a story teller instead of a liar
