Shadow smashes the glass and raises a fist as if to punch him, and the G.U.N. soldier flinches. And instead, Shadow hits the button to eject the soldier.

This is Shadow. He is brutal and he is formidable but he is not cruel.

It's wild to actually see the firing squad shoot on Gerald.

Something I learned about this method of execution years ago in high school is that, only one of the firearms has the bullet, the rest is just rubber (or something unharmful of the sorts). The reason is when they all fire at the same time, they won't know which amongst them had the actual ball & won't cause the person who had the real thing trauma.

But y'all probably already knew that, lol.
