we love that light greyromantic and dark greyromantic terms exist bc its fun to be able to label yourself that way !! (Some of us in our system find these labels useful)

hey! so ive kind of been having an aspec sexuality crisis for the past... 6 or so months??? (knew i related a bit too much to georgia warr...)

aaanyhow! 👏 i often use bi to label myself since its less ‘confusing’. however ik there’s definitely something not quite allo about me. it’s feels mostly made up of demiro, aego and the-one-i-cant-remember-on-how-to-spell-it-but-its-the-one-where-you-can’t-tell-what-your-attraction-precisely-is-it-may-be-called-quoiro-or-something-like-that.

so uh anyways i want to use angled aroace to describe myself. ill probably identify as it in the future still but for now it’s an umbrella term to account for all greyspec and allo identities and im free to use it while i work things out. along with queer too because why not. plus ill probably use bi to describe myself irl since most people ik outside of tumblr don’t even know what a slur is and why using them isn’t ok. there’s pretty much no way theyll accept this ‘tumblr, fake, made up sexuality’ (it isn’t but that’s what they think :/).

however! there is a slight problem with this. im not that big a fan of the flags. yellow has always been my worst colour for sensory issues and the greeny yellow hues on the flag don’t help at all. so ive decided to create my own.

plus i added some meaning behind the colours. :)

so yeah. gold represents the aroace part of angled aroace. yellow represents the angled in it. white means how we merge our aro, ace and other identities into one label (id also be happy to see variants to include other aspects of identity eg a black angled aroace flag). and the greys represent well... the greys. im not really sure there’s much else to say lol.

i just want people to know ill be using this label while figuring some things out 🧡💛

7. Have you changed labels since realizing you were LGBT?

SO many times u dont even know lol

first i thought i was genderfluid then ftm then vaguely transmasc then “maybe cis” again and now i just use the umbrella “nonbinary” because that’s. probably the closest i’ll get for now. i like the idea of agender or voidgender also

also i thought i was a cis lesbian then genderfluid straight then ftm bi then ftm gay and now like i said some form of greyspec/bi genderless blob lol
