Lots of changes going into the new year! I’ve retired my curiousfancy Instagram account and I’m moving away from content creation on a schedule, monetisation, and all the stress that involves. Trying to rediscover the joy in dressing up without the artifice of making ‘content’. 2023 is the year I’m taking this fashion thing back to its roots, when it was no more than a hobby that I genuinely enjoyed.

Why the Move

👗Plus size beauty blogging was a very fun and empowering hobby for me during the years I had the time to do it. And my clothes & accessories will always be an important aspect of my creative expression.

📸🤳📽️ But I have a lot of other things I am doing these days, and the nature of fashion blogging has changed drastically in the past few years, now that video reigns supreme instead of static pictures.

🌛🌝🌜I am taking time to post here pretty frequently though, and my fashion aesthetic is, in part, a reflection of my spiritual practice and identity. I mean, it's right there in the title of the beauty blog account: Glam Witch Style—my glamour witch styling is part of my self expression as a modern pagan UU solitary eclectic witch.

I am plus sized, I'm also tall. It can be very hard to find dark aesthetic fashion that fits me.

Also, a lot of people, both goth and non-goth as well as other alternative subcultures, have felt the need to comment about someone my size being my spooky 👻 self.

We've got to do better. One, the fashion industry needs to stop only selling the beautiful clothes to smaller sizes. There needs to be more size inclusivity!

Two, we all need to be more respectful and welcoming of one another. We get bullied enough from the normies, there's no need to take it out on each other.
