WIP Tuesday 🌹⛓️

Theo gently covers Liam’s hand with his own. The small touch screamed at him, you don’t deserve this, you don’t deserve him. He would savor every touch Liam leaves on him. He wanted more, more of the beta. He needed Liam to let him out of this cage and he’ll be his for the taking. He was Liam’s, body, mind, and soul. He was begging for him to just take him apart already.

His voice low, he whispers, “Please, Liam, let me out of here.”

Liam searched Theo’s eyes, for what, he didn’t know. His face full of anguish, the young werewolf whispers back, “I can’t.” He pulls his hand away, shocking the chimera, and stirring him from his position.

“Yes, you can.” Theo turns his body, his hand sliding to the bars between them, his fingers curling around the cool metal. “Liam, just, let me out of this cage. Okay, just slide the key into the lock. You can’t—” Liam was close, their breaths mingling, foreheads touching with a soft graze. “You can’t—” Theo’s eyes sparkled with tears glittering his cheeks. He feels the warmth of Liam’s fingers covering his own, a burning touch. With a gasp, Theo says, “Look, I’m sorry. I won’t… I won’t leave again. I promise, just let me out of here. You can trust me.”

“He’s angry. Has a bit of a temper.” Nolan comments, trying to sound helpful and giving as much insight as he can.

“He’s a werewolf though?” Theo sounds so damn ridiculous. He has to ask but he hates appearing like he’s clueless.

“He wasn’t a werewolf then. I can only imagine he’s a new type of monster.” Mason retorts, the pain in his eyes evident, and——-ah. There it is.

Mason misses his little childhood friend.

“He’s quite an interesting guy.” Theo smirks, happy to be gaining some progress with them and loving the details they’re divulging.

“I don’t know what you’re planning, but save it. You’ll only be beaten by Scott again.” Mason ruefully smiles, and he slams the door, locking it behind him.

Theo’s not planning anything this time. He’s bored and he needs the leg up to get some quiet. Even with nothing planned, he’s still always watching his back, fearing the worst, and waiting to be sent back to hell.

It’s fine. Not really, but maybe it never was, because when he turns to head back to his truck, Liam’s in it. He’s staring back at him and calmly licking his lips.

the writers putting a song with lyrics like ‘i don’t know where i belong’, ‘if i make it home when our worlds collide’, ‘help me find my way ‘cause i’ve been feeling so lost and afraid’, etc in the background of the scene where theo makes it clear liam has voluntarily chosen to ask for his help and starts offering insight into liam’s emotions— specifically his anger and how it’s really just a manifestation of fear— is so crazy like. you paired a song literally called NOBODY KNOWS with a conversation about how they feel and how liam wanted theo to be the person who came with him when he was worried about getting out of control. but i wasn’t supposed to read into any homoerotic subtext. oh Okay.

Made this in like 5 minutes cuz I loveee seeing this trend on tiktok and immediately thought of my babiess 🥹

It’s clear that Liam was Theo’s light throughout the season from the moment he freed Theo from hell however in these scenes to me, it feels as though Liam was the one who was lost in the darkness especially in the Zoo scene, where he got triggered and angry and Theo was there to help him and calm him down, literally proved that Theo was his anchor 😭❤️

The second being the elevator scene where Theo literally saved Liam’s life once again and helped him fight the hunters and the iconic “im not dying for you” scene 🫶🏼🫶🏼 to me it felt as though Liam finally saw Theo for who he was after changing and trying to be better and just being Liam’s savior hence the light :)
