“What’s wrong, Theo?” Liam smirks at his speechlessness. “Cat got your tongue?“

“Where did you get that?” Theo asks with curiosity evident in his voice.

“I swiped it from Eichen House.” Liam glances at Theo, who’s giving him this look that kind of creeps him out, but makes him feel like mush inside. “What?”

“Nothing. I’m just impressed.” He pauses, his eyes on the weapon. “So, what do you plan to do with that?”

With a cool smile, Liam asks, “Would you like to find out?”

Theo falters, replying, “Not really… but I have a feeling I’m going to anyway.”

Liam grins like the Cheshire before sparking the end of the baton again and walking closer to Theo.
