Notes: Reader is Bi in this story. The story is based on the song IF THERE IS A GOD, IT'S ME by PLVTINUM. I recommend listing to the song. You can find it here.
Summary: Ellie becomes extremely upset after discovering the truth about Joel's auctions in Salt Lake City. She knew she could never see Joel again. Ellie left Joel and Jackson behind to find her place in the world. Ellie returned to the only place she knew before Joel, Boston. However, Boston was far from a welcoming refuge. Instead, She ventured into the unclaimed territories of New England to build a community akin to Jackson. As her community slowly took shape, people began to gravitate toward her, captivated by her strength and immunity. When people see that Ellie is the only immune person in the world, they believe she is a prophet. They wholeheartedly chose to believe they were placed on this Earth by a higher power. They looked to her for guidance and solace in the world. Ellie's biggest fear is to lose the people she loves. What Joel did killed him in her eyes. Now, she is traumatized and is very strict with the people in the town. Ellie deeply loves each member of her community. She loves them in a very dark way. Ellie found herself drawn to one person in particular.
(Eillie is a cult leader who likes readers more than she should.)
You awoke to the biting cold of the early morning air. Outside, the early morning darkness clings to the world. You lay in a comfy cocoon of thick wool. A part of you hesitated to leave the warmth of your bed. Every breath forms cute little puffy clouds in the frigid air. A quiet groan escaped your lips as you thought about inevitably departing from this cozy sanctuary. You nestled more deeply into the soft embrace of the blanket. You lay there listening to the world stirring around you. Downstairs, you heard the faint sounds of your mother making breakfast. You also could smell the very distinct scent of breakfast. Your ears picked up the sound of your father reading himself for another day. They also picked up on the sound beyond the walls of your home. You could hear the faint chatter of your neighbors rising from the dead. You could listen to your neighbors groaning about having to wake up early. They also complain about the cold, frigid air. Every part of you wishes you could linger in the comfort of your bed a little longer. Sadly, you have too many responsibilities. With regret, you gave the blanket one final affectionate nuzzle before leaving the blanket's warmth behind. As you rise from bed, an exhausted sigh escapes your lips. There was no escaping your responsibilities.
You slowly rose out of bed and into a standing position. Your socks landed on the wooden floor below. Once standing, you quickly remove your pajamas. Next, you promptly slipped on your day clothes. Your outfit of choice was a pair of jeans and a cozy flannel shirt. Today, you dressed for the cold day ahead. Once you finished getting dressed, you decided to indulge in breakfast.
Before you descended the stairs, you decided to grab your well-worn backpack and jacket in hand. Once you collected your belongings, you dropped the stairs. Each wooden step groaned under your weight.
Once you were in the first room, you headed to the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, the scent of breakfast greeted you. You expected to find your mother tending to the stove. However, to your surprise, your parents were already seated at the kitchenette. They were in the process of consuming scrambled eggs and ham. Their faces shined in the warm glow of the morning sun streaming through the window. They were both engaged in a soft conversation. It created a scene of domestic bliss that captivated you.
"Good morning, my darling daughter," your father greeted you with a smile as he noticed your presence. You approached them, embracing them both with affectionate kisses.
"Morning," you replied softly, your voice still carrying the remnants of sleep. You moved to the stove to serve yourself a plate of the piece of the breakfast your lovely mother prepared. Once you received your portion, you quickly moved to the kitchenette. Once you settled into your seat, you began to eat. At the exact moment, you felt your mother playfully nudged your shin with her foot.
"Don't forget your morning prayer, dear," she reminded you. Her voice had a very gentle tone to it. "Remember to thank Ms. Williams and God for this meal. Without them, none of this would be possible."
Your father nodded in agreement. "We raised you better than that," he affirmed with a warm smile.
You offered an apologetic look. "I apologize, Mother. I was just excited to enjoy this wonderful breakfast," you replied softly before bowing your head in silent prayer. You prayed to God thanks for the meal before you. You also thanked God for his gift, named Ellie Williams.
Ever since you were young, your parents were religious. God and religion were cornerstones of your parents' beliefs. When you were growing up in a nearby QZ, your family participated in the local religious community. The three of you would attend different religious events together. You remember watching your parents pray before God for hours. During these prayer sessions, they would beg for more food on the table or for the aging house to remain standing. Every day, your family lives in a godly way. One of the few books your family read was a religious text. Your mother read it so much that it was pivotal in your education. Your mother used the book to teach you to read and write through its religious passages. You grew up practicing these passages so much you could recite them from memory.
God was so ingrained in your nature that you should never question God. Even on the worst day of your life, the day that the QZ fell.
FEDRA had become more oppressive than ever in the years leading up to the QZ downfall. Due to the lack of resources, FEDRA decided to work with everyone over time. The QZ citizens were subjected to grueling double shifts for meager pay. Even with everyone's hard work, there still needed to be more food and clean water. At the same time, there was a crackdown on smuggling by FEDRA. Both events caused the masses to grow visibly more angry. With the only alternative source of goods cut off, they gained a monopoly on essential goods. FEDRA raised prices, making most people's meager savings dwell faster. The lack of supplies also forced you to buy them at a high expense or die. FEDRA also started taking any form of restrictions seriously. They began to give people death sentences for the slightest infraction. People started to fear for their lives. There was a feeling of dread loaning over the city. Everyone sensed that the QZ's days were numbered. People could only speculate about when everything would fall apart. The only thing people could do was for the transition to be peaceful.
When the day of revoking came, it was everyone's worst nightmare. That day, QZ all around you descended into chaos. The sounds of screams and gunshots filled the air. Soon, every inch of the QZ became a war zone. People turned on each other for survival. People murdered one another for dwindling supplies. Some people use the fact that the world is crumbling to act on their dark desires. Gangs tore through the QZ, leaving destruction in their wake. The streets were littered with lifeless bodies when it was all said and done.
It was only by the grace of God you and your family were able to escape the walls of the QZ.
Your family struggled to build a new life outside the QZ walls. In your escape, your family could only grab essential supplies, like food and bandages. Even with rationing, the supplies only lasted about a week and a half. Supplies were scarce outside, meaning you spent much time searching for more. Infected were an ever-present threat, making you quickly learn to avoid them. Things worsened when the different gangs from the QZ started to venture outside the walls. Different groups scramble for territories and resources. People who dared enter the group's land were shot on sight. Between the gangs and the infected, staying in one spot for over a week was unsafe. Your existence became transient, moving from one place to another. The constant fear that each day could be your last weighed heavily on you.
Every night, you pray to God for salvation.
Then, one fateful day, it seemed God answered your prayers.
While scavenging for supplies, you encounter a group of survivors. You did your best to stay away from them just to be safe. However, God had other plans. While searching for a house for supplies, you came across a bloater. You knew you would not survive a fight with said bloater. Instead, you chose to run with the bloater hot on your trail. While trying to escape, the bloater ran straight into the group. They quickly acted and destroyed the boater's body with their weapons. The group also chose not to kill you even though you led a bloater right to them.
Once all the commotion settled down, the group's leader talked to you. The leader explained they were looking for a settlement in the area. The town they were looking for was rumored to be a paradise. According to the rumors, this town had abundant food and impenetrable walls. You told them that no settlement existed in the area. The moment the words left your lips, some members were frustrated. You could only guess how long and far they have been traveling. You could tell that every group member was exhausted and losing hope.
You offer them to stay the night at your family's makeshift camp in exchange for saving you. That evening, everyone shared a meal and stories over a crackling fire. You learned more about the group and their journey across the wilderness. Even though they had been walking for some time, they only lost a few people. By nightfall, you and your family decided to join this group on their journey. It was a risky gamble, but you had little left to lose. You would only last a little longer with how things look around here. So, the following day, you packed up what little you had left and left behind the only place you'd ever known.
The gamble paid off when, three days later, you arrived in paradise. The sight that greeted your eyes was unlike anything you had ever experienced. The town, bathed in the gentle glow of the sun, took on an otherworldly beauty. Nestled on the shore, it seemed like a jewel perched on the world's edge. The outer perimeter wall surrounding the town was as massive as the rumors had claimed. So vast that it cast a shadow that stretched over the land. This structure gave an impression of both safety and grandeur. The wall showed the effort the town put into its preservation.
The sight behind the walls left you even more breathless. Rows of lush greenhouses stretched before you, their glass surfaces reflecting the sunlight in a dazzling display of colors. Inside, these greenhouses were vibrant with life in contrast to the acrid stench of decay you had grown accustomed to. The stock houses were brimming with supplies that had been collected meticulously. The stock houses were also neatly organized from floor to ceiling. Storefronts lined the cobbled streets, each one stocked with homemade goods. The shelves were adorned with crafts, fresh produce, and other treasures. Here, the fruits of labor are shared among neighbors.
It wasn't just the abundance of stuff that struck you; it promised a new beginning and hope for a brighter future. Children's laughter filled the air as they played in the streets without a care. Older adults sat on their porches and enjoyed the evening air. For the first time, you saw people with disabilities fully integrated into the community, living life to the fullest. Everyone in town was thriving instead of merely surviving.
Ultimately, God answered your prayers and delivered you and your family a sanctuary.
A sudden knock at the front door disrupted your morning meal. You sprang from your seat before anyone else had a chance to react. "I'll get the door," you announced.
With purposeful steps, you made your way to the front entrance. Arriving at the door, you braced yourself for the frigid bite of the cold air on the other side before you swung the door open. The morning light momentarily blinded your eyes. Once your eyes refocus, a familiar face greeted you on the other side – Alexander.
Alexander had been your next-door neighbor and closest friend in town since the day you arrived. From the moment you set foot in the community, he had gone above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Alexander eagerly took it upon himself to be your guide, offering to give you a tour of the small coastal town. As the two of you walked, he spoke about days long past. Alexander explained that this town had once been a thriving tourist destination, drawing thousands worldwide. But then came "outbreak day," plunging the world into chaos. Fortunately, at that time, the town had been in its off-season, its population reduced to just a handful of residents. This twist of fate had left the town miraculously untouched by the world's destruction.
During the tour, Alexander's warm smile and charismatic personality enveloped you. He constantly flirted with you playfully, making your heart flutter with every charming word and teasing gesture. Over time, as your friendship deepened, you couldn't help but develop a crush on him. There were days when you thought his feelings might mirror your own, but it was hard to discern the truth.
The sound of Alexander talking pulled you out of your thoughts. "Hey, good morning," he greeted. He was leaning casually against the door-frame, his smile radiating warmth.
"Hey, Alexander," you replied warmly, your voice tinged with a hint of affection. "What can I do for you this morning?"
Before Alexander could respond, your father approached from behind and interjected, concern evident in his voice. "Who's at the door?"
You offered a sheepish smile to Alexander before turning to your father. "Father, it is Alexander."
"Why don't you invite him in? It's better than leaving the door open. It's hard enough to keep this house warm as it is." Your father's gruff voice carried through the hallway, making him sound louder than he was.
You gave him a firm nod before turning to address Alexander. "How about we continue our conversation inside? You can warm up a little." Stepping out of the doorway, allowing Alexander to enter the house. You quickly closed the door behind him.
"Alexander," your father's voice was friendly. "How are you? How is your mother doing?"
"Hello, Sir," Alexander greeted your father, extending his hand for a friendly handshake. "We're both doing well. She'll be helping out at the family supper tonight."
Your father let out a hearty laugh. "That's great to hear. So, if you don't mind me asking, what brings you here this morning?"
Alexander looked over at you with a hopeful look in his eyes. "I was hoping I could accompany you on your morning walk to work."
His request caught you off guard, and you felt a blush creeping onto your cheeks as you struggled to find the right words. Fortunately, your father noticed your hesitation and came to the rescue. "That sounds like a wonderful idea," he chimed in with an encouraging smile.
You nodded in agreement, managing to find your voice. "Let me grab my things, and we can head out," you said softly to Alexander. You returned to the kitchen to retrieve your jacket and bag. Before leaving, you leaned down to give your mother an affectionate kiss on the head. "I'm heading out, Ma."
She placed a gentle hand on your wrist, her eyes filled with warmth. "Be safe, dear. And ask that boy on a date already. I'm not getting any younger and want to meet my grandbabies." Her words were filled with love and humor, leaving you with a smile.
Before leaving for the day, you gave your father an affectionate kiss on the head. "I'm heading out. I'll see you at the communal diner," you told him with a smile. With those words, you stepped out into the crisp, cold outdoor air, and Alexander followed closely behind.
An awkward silence enveloped both of you as you embarked on your walk. For several minutes, neither of you seemed to know what to talk about, the quiet punctuated only by the rhythmic sounds of your footsteps. Alexander was the first to speak, breaking the awkward silence. His words caught you off guard. "You look beautiful today," he said with a warm and genuine smile.
His compliment made your cheeks flush even warmer, and you returned the gesture with a sincere smile. "Thank you," you replied, feeling a pleasant flutter in your chest. "You're quite handsome yourself." Playfully, you bumped into his arm, and the shared laughter eased your awkwardness. The walk suddenly felt lighter as a more comfortable and enjoyable conversation ensued between you.
As you arrived at the school where you worked, you paused before the building's entryway to bid Alexander a good day. However, it seemed Alexander had one last surprise in store for you. Just as you were about to enter, his hand gently wrapped around your wrist, causing you to stop. "Wait!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with anticipation. "Before you go, I wanted to ask you something."
The air was thick with curiosity and a sense of the unknown as you turned to face him, wondering what he had in store. "What is it?"
"Would you go on a date with me?" At that moment, as the words hung in the air, time seemed to stand still. You looked into Alexander's eyes.
A soft smile graced your lips as your heart swelled with joy. "Yes," you replied, your voice filled with warmth and happiness. "I would love to go on a date with you."
Before either of you could continue the conversion, you became aware of another person's presence. Ellie Williams, the most influential figure in town, stood in the school doorway. Her piercing gaze fixed upon you and Alexander. Her presence's weight was palpable, leaving you both momentarily speechless.
"Alexander, I believe the morning patrol shift starts soon. You better get going. You do not want to be late." Ellie's words broke the tension, but her tone was icy, and it was evident that she held some authority over Alexander.
He nodded quickly, seeming slightly uneasy. "Yes, you're right. I am sorry, ma'am," he replied, glancing at you apologetically. "I better get going. I'll see you later." There was a hint of disappointment in his eyes, but duty called, and he couldn't ignore it. As Alexander hurried off to his morning patrol, you were left standing there.
As Alexander hurried away, Ellie's demeanor softened almost instantly. It was as though the cold facade she had initially displayed had melted away with his departure. Ellie turned to you, her expression more gentle. "Sorry about that," she said, her tone warmer than before.
Her sudden change in demeanor slightly put you off. "It is ok, ma'am. What can I help you with?"
You couldn't help but be slightly put off by Ellie's sudden change in demeanor. "It's alright, ma'am," you replied. "Is there something I can help you with?"
Ellie let out a small laugh before walking up to you, closing the distance between you. "No need to call me ma'am. You can call me Ellie. We are all family here."
Ellie's laughter and her request to be called by her first name surprised you, but you nodded in acknowledgment. "Of course, Ellie."
With purposeful steps, Ellie started to circle you. Your heart started racing, and her presence felt somewhat imposing, like a predator sizing up its prey. "I have heard excellent things about you as a teacher. I am going to observe you today." You were a bit nervous when she finally stopped directly before you.
"I'd be honored to have you observe my class," you replied, trying to maintain your composure. Inside, your mind raced as you prepared for the upcoming observation. "I hope I live up to all of your expectations."
"I am sure you will," she replied. She gave you a smile that was meant to be comforting but came off as more sinister. She stepped out of your way and opened the door to the school building. "Ladies first."
You nodded in response to her comment and gesture. You stepped forward and entered the school building ahead of her. You couldn't help but wonder about the true nature of Ellie's intentions. As you entered your classroom, the sight of your students filled you with a sense of purpose. You had always loved working with young children; something about teaching them gave you hope for the future. While waiting for you to arrive, the children played with the classroom toys. You placed your bag on your old desk. "Alright, children, please settle down," you said, your voice carrying authority softened with kindness. The children swiftly cleaned up their play area and returned to their chairs. Ellie lingered in the doorway.
You directed the children's attention to Ellie's presence in the doorway. "Children, this is Ms. Williams. She will observe our class today, so please be on your best behavior." Turning your attention to Ellie, you added, "Let me get you a chair to sit in." You moved over a well-worn office chair from behind your desk to the doorway, offering her a seat to observe the class comfortably. As Ellie settled in, you began the day's lessons, determined to impress Ellie.
Throughout your lessons, you felt Eillie's watchful eye on you. The whole time, she did not take any notes. Instead, she just stared at you. The weight of her gaze felt heavy over you. The whole thing made you nervous. You thought yourself stumbling over your words as you spoke. Your palms were sweaty, causing problems as you wrote some words for the children to practice spelling. Your fingers trembled so much that you ended up dropping the caulk. The caulk bounced on the floor before rolling over to Ellie's feet.
As you conducted your lessons, you couldn't shake the feeling of Ellie's stare. Her gaze felt like a heavyweight, and it made you increasingly nervous. The pressure of her presents started to take its toll. You stumbled over your words, your sentences losing their fluidity. Your palms grew sweaty, making writing neatly on the board challenging. Your trembling fingers betrayed you when you accidentally dropped the chalk. The chalk clattered to the floor, bouncing before resting at Ellie's feet.
The room fell silent for a moment, and you could feel everyone's eyes on you, including Ellie's. You offered a sheepish smile and quickly moved to pick up the chalk. As you both reached for the fallen chalk, your hands brushed against each other briefly. A sudden rush of energy surged through you, causing your heart to skip a beat. Hastily, you withdrew your hand, allowing Ellie to pick up the chalk. As Ellie straightened up, it felt like she loomed over you, her presence undeniably commanding. She placed the chalk back into your hand, and the connection between you two felt electric. Her touch, firm on your shoulder, offered a strange mix of reassurance and unease.
"You don't need to worry," Ellie said softly, her voice close to your ear. "You're doing perfectly." With her free hand, she gently brushed aside a stray strand of hair that had fallen in front of your face during the exchange, sending a shiver down your spine as a complex mixture of emotions swirled within you.
You felt renewed confidence after Ellie's reassuring words and the brief, unexpected interaction. With a firm nod, you returned to your lesson, the tension from earlier slowly dissipating. You taught with more confidence and clarity for the remainder of the class. Your words flowed as you guided your students through the material. The children seemed engaged, and their eagerness to learn helped you focus on the task at hand, temporarily pushing aside the unusual events of the morning.
At noon, it was time for the children to eat their lunch. As the children settled down to eat their lunches, you assisted them in getting their packed meals from their bags. The classroom buzzed with activity as the kids enjoyed their food. Amidst this, Ellie approached you from behind, her words catching you off guard.
"You've done an excellent job today," she acknowledged. "I have some other matters to attend to, so I'll leave. But before I go, I wanted to ask you something. Would you accompany me at the head table during the family supper?" Her request was unexpected, and you found yourself momentarily speechless.
Despite your unease, you couldn't bring yourself to say no to her invitation. Her influence in the town was undeniable, and it was well-known that you could not say no to her. "Of course, I'll be there." You gave her a soft smile. Ellie nodded in response before swiftly leaving the room. The prospect of the upcoming weighed on your mind as you continued to attend to the children during the day.
After Ellie left, the rest of your day unfolded in its usual rhythm. You continued teaching the children until early evening, guiding them through lessons. Parents began to arrive, one by one, to collect their children. The parents hurried their children home to get ready for family dinner. As the last child was picked up, you gathered your belongings. There was a soft rustling of leaves in the gentle evening breeze as you walked home.
Your peaceful walk ended as you ascended your house's front porch steps. You swiftly entered the house, the familiar embrace of warm air enveloping you. You could hear the soothing fire crackling in the fireplace from the entryway. You placed your belongings on a coat rack by the door, carefully hanging your coat. The soft thud of your bag hitting the wooden frame. "Mother, I am home," you called out, your voice carrying through the home.
"I am in my room, darling," your mother's gentle voice responded, a melody of warmth and love that beckoned you upstairs.
The wood creaked under your foot as you walked up the stairs to the second floor. When you reached your mother's room, you found her bedroom door stood slightly ajar. Pushing the door gently, you were greeted by seeing your mother sitting in a comfortable armchair by the window. She held a piece of clothing in her lap, and her skilled hands deftly worked a needle and thread, sewing patches onto the fabric. Even though she had lost her eyesight, she refused to let it slow her down. Your mother had taken up a job as a seamstress in town. She repaired everyone's clothes, from the youngest child's torn shirt to the worn-out garments of older people. Her skillful hands extended the lifespan of these clothes.
"Welcome home, my dear," she said, radiantly smiling. She set down the piece of clothing she was working on when addressing you. "How was your day?"
With a deep sigh, you sat down on her bed. As you sank into the soft matrices, you felt like a weight was lifted off your shoulders. "My day was strange… Alexander asked me on a date." You remember how you felt at that moment. Every cell in your body was bursting with excitement.
"However, before we could plan anything, Ms. William appeared."
Your mother's subtle shift in her seat caught your attention. Her movement prompts you to look up at her. Worry clouded her eyes, and a sense of unease hung in the air. It was clear that Ellie Williams was someone your mother held in high regard but also feared. She understood just how powerful Ellie was in town. "What did Ms. Willames want?"
"She wanted to observe my class," you replied, still trying to process the unusual encounter. "Supposedly, she's been hearing good things about my teaching skills."
Your mother offered you a reassuring smile and gently touched your cheek. "I'm glad you're in her good graces," she said, her voice tinged with pride and caution. She then took a deep breath before continuing, choosing her words carefully. "However, remember to be careful around her. Her influence runs deep, and her actions have shaped the town in ways we can't always understand. Do you remember what happened to the young couple last year?"
You nodded, your mind drifting to a sad memory from the previous year. The event is a stark reminder of Ellie Williams' power and the consequences of crossing her path.
The official story is that a wanted young couple ventured into the wastelands beyond the town. It was forbidden to leave the town borders without special permission. Instead of using the main entrees, the couple sneaked out of town using one side gate on the perimeter wall. In their haste, they accidentally left said gates open. A small herd of infected creatures found their way in. The Guards had to act swiftly and kill all the infected before any damage could be done. When the young couple returned, Ellie was waiting for them with a punishment in hand.
Ellie stated that the couple must repent and reconnect with God. Residents felt shivers through the town. Guards escorted them to one of the many shacks designed for introspection located by Elli's house. These shacks are structured to make people reflect on their actions. Only Ellie and her trusted counsel were allowed to interact with the individuals. Often, those relocated to the shacks spent most of their days alone. Access to approved religious texts served as the only form of entertainment.
For six long months, the town heard nothing from the couple. Updates came solely from Ellie during the community meals, her brief mentions serving as the only connection to the outside world.
When the couple was finally released, a heavy cloud of silence hung over their return. The bruises that covered their bodies went unaddressed by the townsfolk. It seemed as if everyone had collectively agreed to overlook the ordeal. Few newcomers dared to ask about what had transpired during those six months. Instead of answers, they were met with cryptic replies. Over time, even they succumbed to the town's unspoken rule of silence.
The entire event served as a chilling reminder of the delicate equilibrium within the town. The respect for Ellie's authority and the fear of her consequences walked hand in hand, casting a shadow over the community's collective conscience.
"Yes, Mother. I remember what happened to the young couple. I promise you that I will be careful," you reassured your mother with sincerity, squeezing her hand lightly and offering a reassuring smile. However, that optimism quickly faded as you couldn't escape the feeling of unease.
Your mother noticed your change in demeanor. "What is wrong, my dear?"
As you thought about the upcoming dinner, a swirl of emotions churned. "Ms. Williams wants me to join her at the head table during family supper," you admitted. Your voice betrays your true feelings.
The honor of being in Ellie's presence, let alone being invited to dine with her, was undeniable. There was a part of you that felt genuinely honored by the gesture. However, that honor weighed heavily on you. Beneath the feeling of recognition, there was a gnawing fear. You couldn't shake the feeling that one wrong move could quickly put you on Ellie's bad side. Only some wanted to find themselves on Ellie's wrong side.
Your mother's sudden movement startled you, causing you to look up. "We must get you ready for tonight," she declared.
There was seriousness in her features as she gazed into your eyes. You opened your mouth to speak, but she silenced you. Her firm grip on your wrist pulls you to your feet. She rushed into your room. Once inside your room, she released her hold on you and began rummaging through your closet. She had an almost frantic determination when looking through your wardrobe. Her frustration was evident as she examined each piece of clothing she pulled out. Most of the items were riddled with holes and stained from everyday wear.
"Mother, what are you looking for? Can I not just wear what I normally do?" you asked, picking up the discarded clothes from the floor.
She sharply turned to you, her eyes hardening as they met yours. "No, you must wear something nicer," she replied firmly, shaking her head before returning her focus to the closet. "Everyone's eyes will be on you, and you must be perfect."
Your stomach dropped as your mother's words sank in. It all started to make sense. Ellie rarely dined with anyone outside her inner circle. The fact that she had invited you meant that the entire town would scrutinize your every move. The pressure was immense, and the consequences of messing up extended beyond just displeasing Ellie. Everyone in the community would also judge your family and your place.
Your mother's voice pulled you out of your anxiety-filled spiral. "Ah! This is perfect," your mother exclaimed.
Your mother's search eventually found the nicest clothes you had. She found a long skirt dyed a deep, warm orange and a white blouse adorned with delicate orange flowers embroidered into the fabric. There were a few faint stains on the clothes, remnants of past occasions when you had worn them. You had always reserved these two items for significant events. You did this to preserve their condition.
Your mother handed you the outfit before speaking again. "Quickly put these on. Once you are done, we can do your hair."
Obeying your mother's command, you went to the second-floor bathroom. You quickly stripped down and redressed in the skirt and blouse. Once fully dressed, you took a moment to gaze at yourself in the cracked bathroom mirror. You couldn't help but appreciate the transformation. Despite the few stains, you must admit that you looked pretty good in your carefully chosen attire. Confidence began to bloom within you, a necessary shield against the evening ahead.
One last glance at the mirror, and you exited the bathroom. Returning to your room, you found your mother sitting on the edge of your bed, a hairbrush in her hand. Without a word, you crossed the room and settled on the floor before her. She gently brushed your hair; the rhythmic motion and the silence between you created a sense of calm.
As your mother continued to brush and style your hair, the sound of your father's approaching footsteps grew louder. His voice called out from beyond the doorway, "Is anyone up here?"
"We are in here, dear," your mother replied without looking up, her attention entirely focused on your hair.
Your father entered the room following your mother's voice, his curiosity piqued. His gaze fell upon your outfit, and he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "What are the two of you up to?" he inquired with amusement and curiosity. "What's with the fancy get-up?"
You addressed your father in a soft tone. "I've been invited to dine with Ms. Williams during family supper," you explained. The words carried the weight of unease that still lingered in your mind.
Your father did not share your feeling of unease. Instead, excitement washed over your father's features as he learned of your invitation. He enthusiastically leaned down and pulled you up from the floor, disregarding your mother's protestations. He enveloped you in a warm, tight hug. His voice filled with joy as he said, "That is such good news!" His infectious excitement momentarily eased some of the tension you were feeling.
An annoyed noise escaped your mother as she was displeased with your father's interruption. She gently touched her husband's shoulder, attempting to redirect his attention. "Darling," she began, "I need to finish her hair. It would be best if you started getting ready yourself. We will need to head out soon."
Your father hesitantly let you go, understanding the urgency in his wife's words. His tone softened as he responded, "You are right, dear." Leaning down, he kissed your head lovingly before leaving your room. Once he was gone, you and your mother finished preparing you for the evening ahead.
You arrived at the building as the sun dipped behind the horizon. The sun casts a warm glow over the sky. Your parents left earlier than you and were already inside the communal building. Most townsfolk were already inside, but a few lingered outside, savoring the evening air. Among them, you spotted Alexander, who was standing near the entrance. Upon seeing him, you quickened your pace and called out to him. He turned his attention toward you, and you couldn't help but notice the subtle change in his demeanor. His eyes went slightly slack-jawed as he took in your outfit. You even saw him stand a little straighter as he met your gaze.
"Wow, you look amazing," Alexander exclaimed in awe, his eyes appreciating your outfit. "You are gorgeous in that outfit."
A blush warmed your cheeks at his compliment. "Thank you," you replied softly, feeling a growing connection with him. Stepping closer, you met his gaze and asked, "What are you doing outside? Shouldn't you be inside already?"
Alexander gave you a sheepish smile. "I was waiting for you. I was hoping to sit with you during dinner."
Your smile began to fade as you remembered your duty for the evening. Before you could respond, another voice interrupted. "She will be joining me for dinner tonight."
You turned to find Ellie standing behind you. Ellie placed her hand firmly on your shoulder. The weight of her words and their implications hung in the air. Alexander's smile dropped upon seeing Ellie. You could tell he wanted to say something but held it in. He knew better than to challenge Ellie on anything.
You acknowledged her statement with a firm nod. Ellie's hand glided down your back before settling at the base. She urges you forward with a push of her hand. As you leave Alexander, you throw him a glance that conveys your regret.
Family supper was sacred in the community. It is a weekly gathering where the community shares a meal. However, the event transcends a simple community meal. It reinforces community members' bonds with each other. It also reminds everyone of their shared purpose.
Before the dinner was served, it was customary for Ellie to deliver a speech. These speeches were unique in their delivery but touched on essential topics. She would sometimes speak of the community's prosperity. She would also celebrate the community's achievements and unity. The whole room is always filled with pride and togetherness after these speeches. On other occasions, she would deliver cautionary words. She would sound the alarm against those seeking to hurt the community. She also warned against those who wish to undermine the community's values and way of life.
Ellie's speeches served as a source of inspiration for the community members. Everyone would see how much she treasured everyone in the room. It also showed how dedicated she was to the protection of the community. It was not uncommon for people to leave with a profound sense of purpose and solidarity.
Family supper was something you usually enjoyed. Seeing everyone gathered in the same room, sharing laughter, stories, and life, filled your heart with joy. You really could feel the strong bonds between community members. A sense of dread coursed through your nerves on this particular evening. As you entered the room, you couldn't ignore the collective gaze of everyone present. Their eyes locked onto you, and emotions played across their faces. Many were surprised and caught off guard by your presence in Ellie's company. Some seemed to study you, searching for clues to gain Ellie's favor. But there were others, their glares filled with resentment. They looked as if they wanted nothing more than to see you fail.
Ellie's table was situated on the far side of the room on top of a stage, adding to the mounting stress of the situation. Every scrutinizing eyes carefully watched you traversing the space. Ellie kept her hand on your back the whole time you walked to the table. Her hand only moved from that spot when she offered it to you as you walked up the stairs.
Ellie pulled a chair out from the table and extended it towards you. "Here you go, my lady," she said, her tone warm.
You offered her a grateful smile. "Thank you," you replied before sitting at the table. Ellie gave you a wink and picked up your hand. She placed a soft kiss on your knuckles.
The room fell silent as Ellie took her place at the center stage. There is a palpable sense of anticipation in the air. All eyes fixed upon her, and you felt the weight of the community's collective attention. Her gaze swept over the assembled crowd. She assessed the room before she began to speak. The hushed room awaited her words, eager to hear what she would share this evening.
"My beloved flock, seeing you all again fills my heart with joy." Ellie's presence was radiant as she stood before everyone. To many, she almost resembled an angel in their eyes. "As I look around this room," she continued, "I am reminded of how far this community has come. It wasn't too long ago that this town was a desolate wasteland. But look at it now: transformed into a beautiful, thriving community."
Her words were imbued with a deep sense of pride. Everyone looked up at her with admiration in their eyes. Ellie's words resonated deeply with the crowd, and a collective sense of accomplishment washed over the room.
"My life before founding this town was filled with loss. Everyone who I ever loved had either died or left me. I was left transient with no reason to live. One day, a realization washed over me. I could establish a town of my own." Ellie declared, her voice filled with conviction. "It could be a paradise where everyone could sleep peacefully at night. A home where no one would suffer from hunger. A sanctuary where there is no loss, only life," she proclaimed, her words resounding with a sense of purpose and hope. She paused, allowing her words to settle in, and then gestured to the room around her as if encompassing the entire community in her vision.
Ellie descended from the stage, her movements deliberate and purposeful as she began to walk between the tables of seated community members. Her presence drew the attention of everyone in the room as she continued to speak. Unlike you, Ellie thrived under everyone's gaze. Not once did she falter or come off as nervous.
"Building a paradise is a massive undertaking that requires lots of skills," she began, her voice carrying through the room. "Initially, I doubted my abilities to create such a place. Before I could do anything, I had to find a location free from infection and raiders. Only then could I begin gathering the resources needed to rebuild." As Ellie moved among the tables, she made direct eye contact with each person she passed, her gaze unwavering and determined.
As I slept, a voice spoke to me in my dreams one night," Ellie continued. "The voice told me it was my destiny to build a haven. In my dream, I saw a town untouched by the world's evils. It even told me how to find this paradise. "She gestured once again, her hand indicating the buildings that dotted the landscape of their community.
"The voice said that if I started to build, people would come. It also said I would guide lost souls to salvation as a leader. The voice spoke about how I could cultivate a new generation of people who survive and thrive. The voice also claimed I am the only person to take on this task due to my immunity."
Her words have the audience in hushed reverence. Many felt that they were witnessing the fulfillment of a divine prophecy. The room was filled with awe and inspiration at Ellie's words. Her words even have an effect on you. A sense of calm replaced the feeling of unease you held earlier. The feeling washed over you as she spoke. You believed every word.
"When I awoke that morning, I gathered my meager belongings and embarked on my mission. It was a long and arduous journey that spanned many days. Along the way, I encountered countless challenges. I fought against raiders, braved extreme weather, and faced the relentless trials of the world. Yet, through it all, I never wavered in my purpose. Ultimately, my determination paid off when I discovered what I had been searching for. Along the coast, I found an untouched gem. The moment I saw the town on the horizon, I knew it was the place perfectly suited for my vision of a town."
Her storytelling captivated the room, making everyone hang on her every word. The attentive audience fixed their eyes on her, hanging on her every word. As she moved through the room, the people she passed by couldn't help but lean in closer to her. Many of them were drawn by the power of her narrative and the strength of her conviction. There was a sense of reverence and admiration in the air.
"As soon as I arrived, I wasted no time turning my vision into a reality. Day by day, I tirelessly rebuilt the structures, secured the perimeter wall, and started the first greenhouses. My own hands carried out every task, and I never once faltered. Not long after I started working, you, my flock, arrived." She extended her hand, gesturing towards the crowd who watched her with rapt attention. "As each of you found me and joined this cause, we became stronger. Your efforts brought the town closer to the perfect haven I envisioned."
At that moment, a sense of unity and shared purpose filled the room. Most people saw the town's collective efforts as a part of a divine plan. A handful of people even felt destiny had guided them to come together. These beliefs forged a bond between the community members that transcended the ordinary.
You, too, felt the impact of these beliefs. The arrival of the survivors long ago felt like a deliberate act of fate. It was hard not to believe a higher power had orchestrated it. Without the survivor's information, you would have never known Ellie's town existed. Even if you learned about the settlement through other sources, it was still doubtful you would have ever found the town alone. You most likely would have died in the wastelands like many others. It became clear to you early on that God had guided you to this settlement for a reason.
"My dream has become a reality thanks to my guidance and your unwavering hard work. Together, we have forged a world free from suffering. Our children will never know the pangs of hunger. As parents, you can watch your children flourish and shape a brighter future. Everyone is guaranteed to grow old and die a peaceful death. Every member of this community possesses an unstoppable potential for a better life. As I look around this room, I see that this community embodies everything I have ever desired. And it does not surprise me that we have achieved it."
Ellie paused her speech for what seemed to stretch for an eternity. She locked her gaze upon you, her eyes piercing deep into your soul. The look Ellie gave you left you feeling exposed and vulnerable. The intensity in her eyes remained enigmatic. Even if with the feeling her gaze gave, you could not look away.
As Ellie broke eye contact with you and returned to her place at the center stage, a sense of anticipation filled the room. Everyone waited on the edge of their seats to see what she would say next. "As a reward for your hard work," Ellie announced, her voice filled with generosity, "I had the kitchen make apple pies. Enjoy your meal, everyone.
The room filled with admiration and gratitude as Ellie's unexpected gesture was met with awe. Most meals were planned with optimal nutrition in mind. This made desserts a rarity in the community, typically reserved for special occasions. So, the decision to provide apple pie on an ordinary day was met with overwhelming appreciation. Ellie's act had made everyone feel genuinely seen and valued.
While the community members exchanged grateful glances, Ellie seemed indifferent to their reactions. Instead, she turned her back to the crowd and directed her attention to you. Ellie had an almost eerie smile as she walked closer to the table. "Shall we eat?" she asked, her expression left you with an inexplicable sense of unease.

Prepare for the unexpected. (DPxDC)
Everyone knew about the reign of Pariah Dark. Even those who did not dabble in those realms have heard the tale of the tyrant. A power-hungry man who ruled over the dead with an iron fist.
Following the rise of Pariah Dark, his realm had been effectively cut off from communication. Many mystics and magic users knew better than to open the door of nightmares that could arise if Pariah Dark's reach went further than his own realm.
Except, the universe had plans to bring the realm of the dead back into the cards.
A new opponent, one that had all of Earth's heroes scrambling for options. A being with powers of a god over weather, destruction was on the horizon. A world ending threat.
It's the only reason the Justice League was doing this. In a deep bunker, far from close civilization as a precaution, the heroes looked on with grim expressions.
The world was already being threatened. It would be destroyed regardless of what the league did. So it only made sense to make the last ditch effort. To summon someone strong enough to defeat the threat.
No one wanted to do it. No one wanted to be the one to pull the realm of the dead back to the living. The consequences were untold if this succeeded. If Pariah Dark was freed and defeated the threat, whose to say he won't want control?
That was a problem for later. For the aftermath. For now, the league could only watch on with bated breath as Constantine completely the summon ritual.
They watched on as the shadows in the room seemed to darken and grow. As the sigil sputtered to life with a glow that was growing increasingly brighter. A sudden gust of wind rushed through the room, the temperature began to drop with eaching ticking second.
And then it was all gone.
The room stood perfectly still. Just as it had been moments before. Nothing changed. No giant king standing before them, no sign that the ritual worked.
The room stood deadly still for another beat before the murmurs started. The team trying to make sense of the situation, figure out what went wrong.
Constantine swore up and down that this was the correct ritual, taking offense that they would even think the problem was on his end. It only made it better when it finally happened.
A loud sound ripped through the room, pulling everyone's attention back to the summoning circle. Just in time to see a tear appear in the space above the circle.
A thin tear that ran the length of eight feet. The fabric of the dimension seems to curl at the edges, pulling back to reveal a deep glowing swirl of greens. A dark gloved hand reached through, fingers curling around the edge of the tear, stretching it even further.
A portal. The ritual had worked, but there had been a delay. A delay that had every hero nerves on edge. Each team member tensed, weapons at the ready as they watched the being stretch the portal to the right size.
Then, a foot stepped out with a heavy thud. A dark boot that looked otherworldly despite its similarity to mortal clothing. A deep black that seemed never-ending. A second foot quickly followed before a full body emerged from the portal.
Not many people in the room have ever seen Pariah Dark, let alone know what to expect. Based on what Constantine and Zatara had said, this wasn't Pariah Dark.
A man had stepped out of the portal, standing at almost seven feet tall, and built like a brick house. One glance at the glowing white hair, deadly red eyes, and shard teeth was enough to know this being was not to be messed with.
But there was no giant show of armor or royal garbs. There is no large crown at the top of his head or jewelry from the infinite realms laced around his neck.
Instead, the man stood before them in combat boots, worn-in ripped jeans, a graphic t-shirt, and a spiked leather jacket. Despite his almost normal clothing choice, the man's jacket seemed to be a never-ending depth of the dark night sky. If one was to look closely enough, the cosmos could almost be made out in the sea of darkness.
None of that would have prepared them for when the man spoke. His tone sounded more bored than anything as he took a step forward.
"Oh, so now you need the help of the dead." The man had spoken, running a hand through his hair. When Batman took a step forward to speak, the man raised a hand. Immediately commanding silence in the single gesture. "I'm on babysitting duty and have yet to have a cup of coffee. I'll be right back."
Just like that, both the man and portal vanished into thin air. Leaving behind a group of stunned heroes. Not only was the man not Pariah Dark, but he was also supposedly babysitting.
"Did that just-"
The Flash had been the first voice to speak up, his eyes trained on where the man had once stood. Except he had barely made it through the first few words before the man was suddenly back.
The man that now had a child hanging off his shoulders and another teen being held up by his scruff. Unlike the man, these kids looked human.
Too human for Bruce's liking. The dark black hair and bright blue eyes had every heroes eyes flickering to Batman for just the briefest moment.
"This isn't fair! I'm not even the king. Why do I have to be here!" The teenager had been complaining the moment the man had reappeared. Arms crossed tight over his chest and seemingly used to being held dangling. "Besides, who brings kids to a show down! Wait til I tell mom about this."
"Aw, come on, Danny. This is gonna be fun!!" The younger girl seemed in much better spirits than the teen, Danny. She had climbed up the large man, sitting on his shoulders and resting her arms on the mess of glowing hair. "It's like take your kids to work day! Ooo, Dan! Can we fight too!?"
Unlike the two kids, the man looked purely exhausted and annoyed. The man, Dan, dropped Danny like a sack of potatoes as he took a long drink from the travel cup in his hand.
It didn't take a genius to recognize the look of an exhausted parent in Dan's expression. A look many of the league members were well acquainted to. A look that even had Batman grimacing with sympathy.
"Can it, little shits. You two were grounded, remember." Dan had growled at the kids before shifting his focus back on the team of heroes before them. His glowing eyes set in a deadly glare. "Pariah Dark isn't coming, and he never will. He's been dethroned and banished. We're the best you've got."
A summoning that started with a group of on edge and scared heroes looking for the ghost king, ended in a way no one expected.
No one was even sure if it made any sense. They weren't sure if they should feel hopeful or in despair.
Because truly, what was a ghostly man with two seemingly human children against a godlike foe with the control over the weather?
The unspoken question of power and ability seemed to vanish following Dan downing the metal travel cup of coffee, and crushing it in his fist.
He tossed it to the side, straighting up his posture as he looked over the heroes. Dan might not be a hero, but he's been playing family for too long.
An almost feral, bloodhungry grin spread across the man's face, sharp fangs on full display. The look made the man suddenly look even less human. He looked closer to a demon from the pits of hell rather than the exhausted parent he looked just a few seconds ago.
"Point me in the direction of this bastard. It's been too long since I let loose and had some fun."

Ok so it's like 3am and I can only think of DC/DP but dimensional warfare. Like the GIW have been fucking with the dead so much, messing with Danny so much, that he decides fuck it we ball. If I become Danny do fucking be it.
Like Danny has tried to be good. He had tried desperately to be good since he was 14,since he died. Like he wasn't really a kid after that. He had tried to get help from the JL but his pleas were ignored, he tried to tell them about the GIW, he tried to tell them about the anti-ecto laws but he got nothing.
Now he was older, now he was bitter, now they had taken his children. Now was time for war. It was easy, so easy that it was uncomfortable for him. Killing shouldn't be so easy but humans were so fragile. He let ghosts and demons and anything else run wild, he had every city spirit cause their worse. He sent a message to the world before causing a world wide black out.
"I have let you mess with the dead. I have protected you from the dead. I have protected you from future and from yourselves. Yet you decide to take my children. You take the spawn of the king of the Infinite Realms and expect no consequences. This is a declaration of war long overdue. Prepare yourself living realms, your days are limited. I will either find my children or you will return them to me. Till then in joy your blackout."
And with that earth was plunged into the darkness of night. As the monsters that haven't terrorized the earth in millennia roam without a care.
JL and JLD are freaking the fuck out. Trying to prevent as much chaos as possible. They had to find those kids they had to play diplomate to an angry god or send the flash back before this to hopefully fix this. They had to fix this.

Ellie is technically Dan's older sister
So, because Dan is now inhabiting a Cloned Body, that means that he is technically now Danny and Ellie's Sibling.
And technically, the Clone was created and released after Ellie was, long after.
Meaning, Dan isn't the Grumpy Older Sibling. He's the Grouchy Baby Sibling.
Dan is the Youngest!
Imagine this in a typical Runaway AU, where the Batfam encounters this trio of Siblings. 2 of them are Teenage Boys who look almost identical, the other is a Girl who looks about 2 years Younger than them.
And then they introduce themselves like this...
Ellie: And this is our baby brother Dan!
Dan: I am literally 10 years older than you! I look the same age as Danny!
Danny: Really? Cause your DNA says you were born only 6 months ago, and Ellie is 12 months old, and I'm 15 years old, so who's really the baby here?
Dan: SHE IS! I'm the Oldest! I'm not a Baby!!!
Ellie: Sorry about him, he gets cranky when he doesn't get his nap :D
Dan: *sounds of incomprehensible rage*
Danny: Aw, he's having a little tantrum.

Love love LOVE the focus on Joel’s boots during his rampage in the hospital. Because it’s not in a fit of rage, or desperation. Joel’s face is blank. He’s not thinking about consequences of his actions. He’s thinking “you took away my daughter and now I’m getting her back.” It’s a skill he picked up from Tess. He knows what’s coming. There’s no need to get emotional about it. It’s the simplest thing in the world to him: “You don’t get to take her away from me. Not again.” Hell, he doesn’t even look at the doctor when he shoots him! He’s looking right at Ellie, his entire focus and purpose laying in front of him! Mans is straight up on autopilot!
Joel is a unstoppable force in his grief. And Ellie is the immovable object that keeps him from walking straight over the ledge.

I just like Danny
Being put into misunderstandings
Whether that means he’s seen as an evil entity, or some unfortunate soul, or some tragic child going through life.
And those can go in so many ways, with Danny also feeling the hurt that COMES from those misunderstandings. But it can also be where he is just straight up vibing and unaware of those misunderstandings.
Now, out of all of them I am SUCH a sucker for the misunderstandings of Danny being a tragic child that had been used and abused, in whatever way the author deemed fit, and everyone else is just walking around protectively and eager to fist fight whoever hurt him.
Like —
Human Danny with two little de-aged babies Ellie and Dante with creepy Vlad? I will eat that UP.
Human Danny bewitched by possessive Phantom. Give me more ‘yandere Phantom’, I will smooch you.
Phantom being a dead child who might have been murderer by his parents, and are covering it up with a plausible Danny clone. The possibility????
Human Danny marked by the King of the Dead as a concubine/wife and must be helped from the tragedy of being a child bride. **frothing at the mouth** 🐕

house wife reader x mean ellie 👀 ellie works long hours on the weekdays and takes out all of her anger on her docile wife who cooks all her meals, does all of her laundry, cleans the entire house, and make sure ellie’s satisfied 24/7.
Satisfied - (ellie williams x housewife reader)
hi anon! mean ellie? hell yeah. I hope you don't mind, but I added my own twist. I hope you enjoy <3
Pairing: mean ellie x housewife fem!reader
requests are open, feel free to leave one!
HUGE warnings: toxic relationships, murder, gore, violence
Summary: in which you were the perfect housewife
authors note: I'm literally trying to empty out my request inbox, so be ready because there's a bunch of fics coming your way!
"so when last have you seen her?" The police officer asked as he sat across you.
"well she went out yesterday and she never came back"
you saw him look at you and Ellie's house as he was taking notes.
"Any arguments?"
"No"
once again you saw the pen write something on some paper. You wanted to know what exactly he was writing about.
What was talking him so long? You wanted him to fucking leave.
"Thank you for answering these questions, we'll call if we need anything else" the officer said as he stood up.
"Thank you for your hard work! Do I need to walk you out?" You asked with smile
"no, I'll show myself out" was all he said as he walked towards the front door.
As soon as he was out of sight you got up and ran to window to check if he was gone. You watched his car pull out the driveway, and you let out a sigh of relief.
fucking finally.
You ran to you and Ellie's shared room, and between heavy breathes you said "she almost caught us baby".
You walked towards the bed, where Ellie's decomposing body lay. Flies circled her body, her skin was pale and cold to the touch.
You put some of her hair behind her ear "it's ok now, they'll never catch us" you whispered
You loved Ellie. And you would anything for you. Anything including quitting your job and becoming her housewife.
In the beginning you hated it, staying home, cooking, cleaning. But when Ellie praised you, you fucking loved it.
And soon after you became the stereotypical housewife. Cute outfits, aprons that matched whatever you wore. You always woke up before her, to prepare her favorite breakfast. You cooked her dinner.
You fucking did everything.
The two of you were happy. Until Ellie got a promotion. She got more work, the pressure was getting worse for the poor girl.
Ellie came home late and most nights she barley even slept. You tried supporting your wife as best you could. You tried cleaning the house before she came come. You did all her laundry, you even chose her outfits most days.
But it was never enough for her.
One night you cooked Ellie's favorite meal. A prideful smile was on your lips as you put the plate in front of her.
This would cheer her up. You knew it would.
Ellie glanced down at the plate, and she looked back at you. The dark circles under her eyes looked even darker than they did yesterday.
"You are so fucking pathetic" she started.
"I work all fucking day to come to this shit? And look, this table is dusty" she added.
Ellie got up from where she was sitting and she threw the plate filled with food onto the floor. "You have cleaning to do, and don't fucking serve this shit again" she walked out of the dining room and you sat there mouth agape.
This was the first time she's ever said anything like that to you. You sobbed in the kitchen that night. You felt sick to your stomach.
Everything you did was for Ellie and for the first time she wasn't satisfied with you.
Your main mission in life became to serve. To serve her. But what do you do when the one you did everything for, wasn't satisfied?
The next morning you woke up bright and early, and you cooked Ellie a widespread of breakfast. Fruit salad, bacon, eggs pancakes and so much more decorated the table.
You heard the bedroom door open and you saw her walk out, she glanced at the table
"I'm not hungry" was all she said and she walked out the front door.
You were shattered.
Since that day everything you did was wrong.
You couldn't clean right.
Her fingers ran along the cupboard, and she looked at you with a frown.
"Can you not clean right? Should i get a maid? Because you cant do shit"
you couldn't do the laundry right.
you stood in the doorway watching Ellie fit on her suit. She looked herself in the mirror before she made eye contact with you.
"It's still wrinkled and there's a stain" she pointed out.
"fix it" was all she said before she threw the clothes on the floor.
You couldn't even cook right.
Ellie only had one spoon of her food before she pushed her plate to the side
"what's wrong?" you asked
"this is disgusting"
it hurts. Every insult Ellie hurled at you hurt.
You knew she was stressed but it didn't give her the right to take her stress out on you.
One night you tried talking to Ellie. But she didn't want to. She didn't have energy for this.
"Don't you have a house to clean? Oh wait you can't even do that right" she said through a chuckle.
You snapped.
You let out a scream as you grabbed the lamp on your side of the bed. You jumped onto the bed, and you shit her over and over again.
"I"
*hit
"am"
*hit
"the perfect"
*hit
"housewife" you yelled.
Blood littered the walls, and your hands. Heavy breathes left your mouth as you looked at the scene.
"Oh Ellie I'm sorry! This room is filthy! I'll clean it"
you scrubbed the walls, you changed the bedding and you gave her a bath.
Everything was back to normal. It was all clean.
You looked at her decomposing body. She looked peaceful and she wasn't being mean anymore.
This was the girl you fell in love with.
You gave her a kiss on the forehead before you muttered "its time for breakfast" and you left the room to start making your girl breakfast.
You weren't sure how long you were going to get away with this, but for the time being you were happy.
She was better dead anyway.

It’s slow at first; the way the world slowly starts to tip on its axis. Your vision swims, halted still only by Abby’s hulking presence in front of you on the ragged couch. You sniff and bat away the blunt in her hand, though your movements are disjointed, like your limbs are filled with molasses, heavy and sticky. One of her thick, calloused hands coasts the length of your arm, an action which would soothe you under normal circumstances. But you don’t feel right.
It’s an uneasiness settled in the pit of your stomach, a churning for which the cause is undetermined.
“Abby,” you mumble; your voice won’t stretch any further.
“Yeah, hon’?”
The door to your shabby one bedroom apartment creaks; your heart ticks, loud in your own ears.
You regain some awareness as Ellie latches the door shut and comes to crouch in front of you on the couch watching amusedly as you tilt your head, legs dangling from the edge of the worn fabric.
“Hi, gorgeous,” she smiles, all teeth and dimples. It’s unlike her to be so chipper.
You’re frowning. You don’t realise you’re even doing it before Ellie’s reaching a slender hand out and smoothing the creases in your forehead out.
“She’s quiet.”
You almost answer before you realise she’s not speaking to you.
The bigger girl’s hand settles on the back of your neck and squeezes. She taps your chin, settling the blunt between your lips once more.
“Have some more, baby.”
You cough and gag around the paper, trying to expel the smoke from your lungs even as the two girls encourage you to take more of it in. By the time she lets up, you’ve slumped, glassy eyed against Abby’s side.
You’d never noticed how she towers above you before now; you’ve never felt so small, so vulnerable in her presence, even more so with the other girl to your left. Ellie’s sidled in now she knows you’re still and compliant, the very point of her nose nudging at your jugular with a fervour you haven’t seen before. She nips at your earlobe and you squirm.
“No, stop,” you slur through your honey sticky mouth and slack jaw. “Don’t wanna.”
“Lift her for me, Abs,” Ellie murmurs; her voice suddenly has an edge that makes you uneasy. You moan in protest, too far away to form any words, let alone stop them. Abby’s fingers curl around the back of your neck, drawing you up and into her chest, her other hand against your bum as she lifts you into her lap.
“I know, honey,” she coos, breathless between rough kisses and nips to your exposed neck. “You wouldn’t let us take care of you sober. You should’ve made it easy for yourself. Silly girl.”
Your eyes grow hot and well, tears gathering at your waterline. How could your best friends do something like this to you? Cold hands grope at your ass, Ellie’s fingers fumbling with the button on your jeans and tugging the taut material down your legs.
“Oh, fuck,” she moans. “You’re so hot, baby.”
You grow hot and clammy with nausea. Your eyes feel like they’ve been superglued shut as you blink, peeling your eyelashes from each other.
“We’re losing her, Ellie,” Abby murmurs, undeterred in her mission to free your tits from your tank top. When they spill free, she twists a nipple meanly and grunts.
“‘S okay,” the slender girl laughs, “Don’t need her awake for this part.”
Your head falls limp, dead weight on Abby’s shoulder as she wrestles the tank top up and over you; she balls it up in her fist, discards it on the floor somewhere. Despite your weakness, you’re painfully aware of what they’re doing to you. You’re a prisoner in your own body.
You’re slumped against the muscular girl somewhat unceremoniously, eyes forced shut as Ellie finally pulls your panties aside to get a good look at your dripping cunt.
“Little whore is a liar!” She grins, triumphant. “She’s fuckin’ soaked. You like it.”
You can’t so much as lift your head to answer. Ellie draws your hips back and pushes between your shoulder blades to create a beautiful arch. You feel her thumbs against the crease of your cunt, spreading your petal soft lips to reveal your dripping hole.
“Attagirl, knew you wanted this,” Ellie murmurs.
Your mind goes blank as two of her fingers disappear, engulfed by your swollen lips. “So wet.”
You want to cry and scream and push them away but no movement will come from your body. Abby hooks her hands under your armpits and lays you flat on the couch.
“Don’t be greedy,” she snaps. “I wanna feel her pussy.”
She crouches, dragging your bare lower half until you’re hanging over the lip of the couch with your legs firmly settled over her shoulders. Her biceps bulge where they’re curled round your thighs.
She wastes no time in licking a broad, flat stripe up the entire expanse of your cunt, nosing at your clit and inhaling deeply.
“Fuck, she tastes good.”
Pleasure lights your every nerve ending on fire despite your protests to the situation. If you could kick her, you would.
She eats you out like she’s been starved of it her entire life, slaking her thirst on the almost constant drooling of your cunt. Despite your limited movement, you’re drawing to your peak with a weak cry, the coil drawing tight in your abdomen until Abby slips two fingers into your fluttering hole and you snap.
She grins like she’s the one going mad with pleasure and Ellie, who was previously pinching and twisting at your nipples until they darkened and swelled, dives forward to kiss you.
You lift a wrist in protest and can’t do much else in your current predicament; her tongue invades your limp mouth, your lips numb as hers glide over them. She pulls away gasping.
“Gonna put my cock in you, sweet girl.” She heaves a breath, unbuttoning her own jeans to reveal the silicone strap at her pelvis. You’re like a fish out of water, squirming and choking back a sob as you try to push her away. Abby hooks an arm under your back and you slump, eyes rolling as the effects of the drugs only increase.
The muscular girl sits and spreads her thighs on the couch to situate you with your back to her chest. Ellie looms, menacing over your helpless body as she drags the tip of her strap through your cunt, catching it on your still sensitive button.
When she pushes in you think you black out. Her forehead beads with sweat, nose inches from yours and breath hot as she immediately locates your sweet spot and pummels it with a force you’re not used to. It’s bruising on your cervix, painful in a way that only increases the pleasure they’re forcing onto you.
Abby reaches forward to tweak at your trembling clit, her other hand clasped firmly around your throat as your head lolls against her shoulder with every thrust.
Your body seizes as white hot pleasure shoots through you; you’re frozen with it, limp as an orgasm unlike any one you’ve ever felt before rips through you.
Your eyes flutter closed with a small cry as Ellie pulls out, spreading your lips as your hole gapes and shrinks at the absence of the strap.
Abby throws you to the side as though you’re useless as she strips herself of her bottom half of clothes; once she’s bare, she’s lifting your thighs to slot her own between them, her clit bumping against yours. It burns, the way she rubs against you so forcefully, still raw and swollen from the last two orgasms the girls have pulled from your slack body.
“Make her suck it,” she grunts, motioning for the slender girl to open your mouth. Ellie does just that, prying your lips open to feed her strap, slick and wet with your juices, down your throat.
Your throat bugles at the intrusion; you gag softly around it, and then with more force as you realise she’s not letting up.
“Fuckkk, look at her face!” Abby moans, pressing her clit to yours even harder as she creeps up on her peak.
Your eyes grow heavier as your vision blacks out at the edges; Ellie only pushes deeper into your throat, thumb pressed to the protrusion it makes.
Abby’s thighs tremble around your own and she soaks you, white knuckled where she’s clutching your knees.
You retch and gurgle around Ellie with one final fight to pull away before she takes pity on you. The spit that’s pooled at the corners of your mouth starts to leak down your face.
“That’s enough.” Abby’s tone is final.
The two girls retreat and pull on their clothes so fast you’d think they were being chased. Ellie crouches next to your ruined body and tips your chin up. You vaguely register a glob of spit hitting you in the face.
“Fuckin’ whore,” she spits. Abby’s eyes darken.
“Have some fuckin’ respect, Williams. Let’s go.”
They leave you there, passed out in a puddle of cum and drool, naked and exhausted.
They’ll be back before you know it.

Prompt 105
A cult summons the ghost king. Except they don’t. Instead they get these tiny white-haired triplets of toddlers blinking at the summoning circle looking confused.
They’ve gotten the ghost princes and princess instead.
The very young princes and princess who are none too pleased and going to cause problems on purpose for both rogues and heroes alike. As godlings de-aged into their ghost age are like to do.
Meanwhile in the Realms, Pariah is staring down at where his trio of ghost toddlers that Clockwork had handed him when he had first woken up and was still groggy just disappeared from. He looks over at Fright Knight, his dearest brother, who looks just as shocked.
Clockwork is going to kill them both if they don’t get the kids back now.

The Villains Daughter
So! Years ago, back when the Justice League was only just starting out, only a year or two after their initial team-up, they had one of their biggest battles to date. A group of Extra-Dimensional Beings had burst into their reality, hellbent on destroying a Government Facility and the nearby small town in Illinois.
They barely managed to beat the Invading Army back, although the Government Facility and a part of the nearby Town had been destroyed in the battle.
Later, they would learn about what had happened. Apparently the Government Base, called a GIW Facility, had managed to finally Crack the secret to Interdimensional Travel a few days earlier. Unfortunately, they had opened a Portal into a Dimension known as the Ghost Zone, ruled over by a Tyrant King who wanted to enslaved all world under him. Their Breaching of the GZ had alerted the Tyrant King to the existence of their Dimension, and he had launched an immediate Invasion to try and take it over.
And the evidence supported this.
Wonder Woman shared Legends of her People, telling that their Founding Ancestor had fled the rule of a Tyrant King when she passed into the Afterlife.
Zatara shared his Magic Tomes, showing them passages detailing the horrific Rule of the Tyrant King of the Infinite Realms.
They even asked Boston Brand, the Deadman and resident Ghost about it. He hadn't been the the Ghost Zone in Years, but even he told them that he had personally fled the Tyrant King.
And they also learned that when the Tyrant King set his eyes on something, he did not falter on his Warpath to acquire it. The Tyrant King, Pariah Dark, would be back for their World, again and again.
And they needed to be prepared. This Battle was what kickstarted their true Commitment to the idea of a Team. They knew they could not defeat Pariah Dark alone, so they needed to remain as a Team.
But there was another thing that came about from the Battle.
While the JLA had been helping clean up, Wonder Woman came across a strange sight. A Baby had been left in the rubble of the GIW Building.
She asked around, investigated, and did all she could to find the babies parents. At first she thought that one of the GIW Agents had brought their kid to work that day, but their records indicated that none of the Agents had children of that Age. And Neither did any of the other workers who worked on the base, like the Janitors or the Kitchen Staff. And of they did, all of their children were accounted for.
She eventually came to the conclusion that the Baby must belong to somebody in the nearby Town, but that lead led nowhere either.
She finally came to the conclusion that the Baby's parents must have died in the Invasion, a very unfortunate but very real possibility. She was going to place her into the System, but over the course of her investigation she had grown fond of the Child.
She decided to Adopt the baby herself. She didn't know the child's name, so she had to come up with a new one.
"How do you like the name, Stella?"
The baby gurgled in delight.
...
Over the next decade of their Teams Existence, the Justice League had to fend off the Legions of the Ghost King's Army many more times. It seemed that Pariah had grown wise to the fact that they were the ones defending the Human Realm, as almost all of the later attacks were directed on them personally.
It made sense, they were the First Line of Defense against his Armies, if he managed to defeat them, their World would soon fall.
But they dealt with the attacks as they came. They had made it their mission to defend their Home from the Forced of Pariah Darks Army, and they would not falter now, or ever.
In the case of Wonder Woman, he Daughter had grown to be a fine little lady. Stella had eventually developed Powers similar to her mother, in that she could fly and had super strength, and had begged to be trained as a Hero.
And who was Diana to deny her Daughter her greatest wish? Over the next 5 years, Diana trained Stella in the ways of the Amazon's. Then, when Stella was 15, she had her join the newly formed Young Justice.
She made a great group of friends on that Team, and even started going by Ellie as a Nickname. Her best friend was by far Conner, though she didn't know why she felt such a strong connection to him? It felt like she could relate to him, but her situation was completely different?
Ah well, her Mom wouldn't mind having another kid, would she? She always wanted a Brother!
...
Meanwhile in the Ghost Zone, the Ghost King was getting anxious. After 15 years, his Agents in the Human Realm had finally managed to set up the Ritual needed to Summon Him into the Human Realm.
Who knew that accepting the Ghost King's Throne would bar him from entering the Human Realm through normal Means? He couldn't even use the Portal, he needed to be summoned or he simply wouldn't be able to leave his new home dimension.
But now, it was almost time. Just another year or two, and he would finally be able to enter the Human Realm. He would finally be able to Find Her. His Daugther.
Danny would finally be able to reunite with his daughter, Ellie.

Ellie Williams, ྀི♡
Yandere Alphabet Headcanons
Along with your blood, sweat and fresh wounds.
Warnings Yandere, Smut, Angst, Blood and Gore, Violence, Possessive Behavior, Jealousy, Vaginal Fingering, Fingerfucking, Cunnilingus, Oral Sex, Rough Sex, Lesbian Sex, ww, Sapphic, Drugged Sex, Dubious Consent, Kidnapping, Verbal Humiliation, Abuse, Toxic relationship
Also, hey. Dark content. Clearly. Kidnapping and yandere business is never consensual so keep that in mind.
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Before Ellie started showing her lovesick tendencies, you'd thought that she was just the type of girl to be possessive over her loved ones, like a protective dog. But the more into the relationship you got the more intense her obsession became.
Insufferably jealous and easily irritable.
During sex she started getting rougher with you, leaving more visible marks across your body with her skilled mouth. Mumbling curses under her breath about how she couldn't bare to lose you, how you were meant to be. How much you meant to her.
"Tell me you'll never leave me angel, say it." she'd urge while two fingers knuckle deep into your sweet pussy, the pussy that belongs to her and her only. Curling them to your G-spot with ease, getting you to the edge with only simple movements.
With the way she blurs your thoughts, head in the stars with the satisfaction of each stroke, you can't get yourself to respond. All that leaves your lips are moans and the occasional call for her name.
Now that just won't do.
She'd grab your chin with her free hand, fingers squeezing your cheeks with a little more force than necessary, "I said tell me, tell me how much you need me." her fingers stop their movement so you can focus on her words better. "Say you'll never leave. Promise."
That night was the first time you saw such a dangerous spark in her pupils, one that spoke volumes about what was about to come.
"I promise, Ellie."
Not like you had a choice in her eyes.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Real messy.
We all know she gets the job done, she is no rookie in the killing game. This is not something new for her, the killing atleast.
But now she has you, she swore to be more careful to not get any unwanted attention from people but it's not her fault that a pretty little thing like you attract the worst kind of pesticides. She won't even dare call them human, just filth. Filth that wants to take you away. Unacceptable. Unforgivable.
-
Ellie violently stabs the now completely unrecognizable corpse. Been going at it even after it died. This little piece of shit had its eyes on you. Undeserving little whore that was, thinking it had a chance.
Her angry screams fill the night along with the wet splash of blood everywhere leaving god knows how many stab wounds behind.
Ellie pulls back away, but not without spitting at it for one last time.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Never. You are her sweetheart, her lifeline. The blood that pumps in her veins, it's all for you. The breath in her lungs rushes in for you and her heart beats with the contagious love she carries for you.
But the catch is, she expects the same from you. It's only fair, no? If Ellie is to dedicate her all for you, she thinks you should be doing just the same.
She worships you, quite literally.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Anything thats for your own good, for your own safety. She knows what's best for you, always. The more you deny, the more pervasive and stubborn she'll get, leaving you no freedom left whatsoever.
But in her eyes your freedom belongs to her. Just like how you do too. Her precious baby, all for her to love on, all for her to adore.
She doesn't acknowledge or recognize your autonomy & consent in times like this, yet ask her, she'll deny rape. Afterall, aren't you her sweet girlfriend, soon to be wife, darling, angel? ,,All her's so she doesn't really need to ask.’’
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Ellie is absolutely infatuated with you. We know that, whats new?
She is truly her genuine self with you, shows you all her colors, which also -unfortunately- includes the ugly aspects. Since she loves you this much, why can't you excuse her imperfections? Love her as she is. as the monster she has become
Disinterested and rude as she may be to others, to her angel she is a saint.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Betrayed, confused and scared..? You were supposed to be by her side no matter what. No matter. You promised. Come back. Don't go. Please don't leave.
Was she too overwhelming for you? Was her love too much?
That night she makes her plans for the abduction.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
She isn't playing when it comes to you, she can't have you abandon her. Ellie genuinely believes she's better off dead without you.
Foreshadowing
Oh and don't even try your luck running away, your first few attempts were futile and she had gotten more paranoid and violent after each try, leaving you no choice but hope for someone else to come get you. But Ellie would make sure nobody even knew of you.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Probably first week of the kidnapping, just freshly captured and kept in Ellies basement for the time being, until you accept the shackles your new life, she'd be keeping you safe and sound.. or with no sound with the gags she used on you.
In her defense, you were screaming too much, tch her poor baby. You might just damage your throat and that just won't do. It's for your own well being baby, she swears.
"It hurts me more than it hurts you puppy, you know that."
-
The night that she drugged you, once too many times, she'd swore upon her love for you that this would be the last time. Since.. you won't be needing that no more, Ellie had planned this long before but now that it was finally happening, it felt surreal.
But hell, she couldn't keep her promise.
Why'd you have to misbehave so much? Just sit tight and enjoy your new life with her; getting used to it would take time, sure, but she had that in mind when she captured you, giving you some alone time in the basement to.. ehm, cope for a lack of a better word, cope with the loss of your old life, your freedom, your ways of living.
And soon yourself.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
After the difficult first two weeks in the basement with a fit thrown every other day, it was inevitable for your resolve to slowly crumble, shattering into in salvageable pieces like the shards of a broken wine glass; knocked, devastated, broken.
And that's exactly what she wanted, what she needed. She had too many things in mind for you: wife you up, keep you safe in her grasp. Her little doll to do whatever she desired. But planning too far ahead was never Ellies forte, you knew that. Her kidnapping you was impulsive and selfish, and she doesn't regret it one bit.
But for now, she'll just have you all by herself. Keep you naked for her viewing pleasure, her sweet insatiable eye candy you were.
Just sit pretty, thats all you had to do.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
Once she feels like you finally accept her and your new life she would start taking you out occasionally, not too much though, and you can't leave her side not even for a second. Ground rules are to be followed, and thats one absolute.
And at days when she felt jealous or envious, sometimes for absolutely no reason, she'd take it out on a complete stranger she claims looked your way weird or stared at you for too long. When she doesn't have anybody else to blame she takes it out on you.
"Baby how could you do something like this to me? Betraying me and my trust like that..?" she'd spit on your face while fingers digging through the sensitive skin of your cheeks, "Is that what you are, bitch? A whore?"
"Ellie please-"
"A fucking whore that tries to seduce anyone she possibly can, and for what huh? All you need is me, don't you get it-!"
With that Ellie has her way with you for the rest of the night. Nose buried deep into your cunt, sniffing in your scent while she sobs as you are too tired to shed more tears. She'd apologize a mantra, yet your body would be too boneless tired and overstimulated to even respond. You'd only be hearing her pleading in tidbits in your state.

Before the usurp, before she opened your eyes as to what kind of person she truly was, before all the trauma and abuse, when you two were just an unconventionally overloving couple, she'd be constantly on your neck about how other people had their eyes on you and how she wasn't having it. You'd shrug it off with 'they don't matter to me', 'you're the only one for me Ellie.' or 'why does it matter, just ignore them'
At first she'd listen to you, but time pass, and her impulses get heavier to control leading her to murder them, or worse, torture them behind your back. And things would only escalate from there.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Like a primal fucking animal.
Groping your ass every chance she got, one hand one your waist constantly as if something or someone was going to take you away from her.
Hands exploring your inner thighs when sitting together, occasionally going in too deep and settle on top of your crouch, just lets it linger there. Arousal hits your core in times like this, guilt getting harder to swallow with how enticing her touch is, yet her hand doesn't move. Just holds it still as to tell 'this pussy belongs to me' her eyes recite the same story, 'she's mine right? my cunt.'
When she has you naked, fingers in your mound just fingerwarming your wet pussy barely moving and avoiding your clit and leaking hole, only maybe caressing your puffy wet lips if she's feeling generous. Afterall, you were but trouble at times, and she was just giving you a lesson. Patience.
She was doing much more than you deserved, with how ungrateful you were, she was convinced.
But with the way your nails would imprint on her forearms and wrists, her name falling with heavy moans as you whine for your sweet most anticipated release, she'd give in and slide two fingers in, just easily with the way you were creaming all over her palm.
And when your orgasm finally hits, you cry out with so much pent up satisfaction that it would make Ellie hurl. Music to her fucking ears.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Ellie is hardly around people, and if she is, she's stoic and serious. Really not much of a people person, not anymore atleast. The only person she needs is you, anyway. Why would she bother with incompetent fools.
The only time she's around people is when she's out on a deputy, and it doesn't take her long to come back considering she skillfully handles the missions with ease, swift and faithful with the thoughts of you at home. Home. What a foreign concept made possible by you.
But what could be said is, Ellie has an impossible to read Poker-Face. Try as they might, no use. She's a mystery to everyone but you. She shows the real Ellie to you and you only.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
Sex. Ellie uses sex both as a gratification and as a punishment. It might sound dubious but really, is the least painful thing she does. Atleast on your end, it makes you feel good even for the shortest of time. Goddamn her and her masterfully talented hands and tongue.
Everytime you cum for her you feel guilty, guilty for feeling good in your situation. Guilty for liking the rape.
Guilty for starting to crave your kidnapper.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
She's certainly patient with you, as long as you don't make a fuss, she'll tolerate you quite fine.
Just.. don't try to leave her, that won't end well.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
You're not going anywhere, she's convinced herself that. Atleast not physically. You're binded to her as long as you live. But what if you die. Then what?
Then she dies too, that simple. If you were killed, she'll seek revenge and pull another Abby hunt before she commits. But more violent this time around, the second time losing someone so close, this close, and now she truly has nothing else to lose.
Her death would be quick and smooth with a revolver to her head. Not wasting any time, she wants to see you again. Maybe in an afterlife. Ellie's never been a believer, she never believed in that kind of stuff, but for you she wants to. She hopes to.
With the pull of her trigger she'd go out effortlessly. Her body going limp with a subtle smile on her lips, ready to see you once again.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Regretting kidnapping you? No way in heaven or hell, that was the best thing she'd ever done, the only right thing -she's pretty convinced - she's ever done.
But after every punishment you receive, the smallest resemblance of humanity left in her twinges. Not enough for her to stop or change her ways though. Just an uncomfortable little shiver up her spine.
She's not ever letting you go.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
All her life, Ellie's been abandoned wether they intended to leave her or not. She'd been left alone for too long, nothing was ever permanent in her life. Every thing and everyone she'd loved and cared for had turned into nothing but a figment of her memories.
... Joel was her breaking point.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
She's conflicted when it comes to this, at one hand it turns her on. She can't really explain why. ever heard of a fetish Ellie? But it also hurts her soul to see you suffer like that. And for what?
For you to get used to her that is. If then, she finds no mean in interfering with that. When it comes to that point of denying her so much that you isolate yourself for days, she knows your resolve is about to break soon.
It's just a matter of time before you fully give in.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Definitely the love and admiration she has towards you. She cherishes you so much to the point that, she would not only kill but die for you.
Do what you will with that information.
But she will certainly be hesitant with the self sacrifice route, since she doesn't want to leave you alone. What would you possibly do if she died?
Especially since she made sure to mindbrand you shamelessly.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
This goes without saying but she truly believes there is nothing more serene than having you under her touch, besides wasn't all the hussle she went through just to have you enough to prove it?
And the worship doesn't stop there, not with the murders or the sex. With her devoting everything she is to you, it's only a matter of time for you to get lost and be over consumed by her lust love.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
You're not aware but she'd been watching you left and right for years. Not making a single mistake in her ways or getting caught.
Never thought she would even end up with you at first, but when a night in the bar had you two all over eachother - definitely not because she spiked your drink, it was all for you she says - and fucking like animals all night she asked you on a date and things progressed.
You were completely oblivious to the fact that this was her plan all along. You only thought of her as a faithful encounter, a one night stand turned into your new girlfriend. But Ellie had something completely different in mind.
-
You have no idea how painful it is for her to be away from you, like ever. After Ellie kidnapped you, she still had to work to keep things moving. Which meant being away from home, from you.
Her being away so often left you all alone in the house, resolve broken from the emotional manipulation she'd been doing to you for so long.
In the earlier days of the abduct you had tried to escape, multiple times. But after some time -and a lot of abuse- you'd became completely dependent on her. The plan she had worked wonders, breaking your resolve and keeping you all to herself till the end of days.
Now you just wait for her arrival like a loyal little puppy. Stockholm syndrome so strong that you feel stressed and anxious when she's not around.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Her poor little innocent angel, you don't know any better now, do you? It breaks Ellie's heart to see you hurt, see you so out of it and shattered, but it had to be done.
When she first took you in and you rejected to eat or drink anything, let alone spare her a glance, it became the only option. Had to have you one way or another. Either you'd eventually submit to your new life or she'd have to get you get used to it.
Has to have you to the point of no return in which you feel the constance of time breathing down your neck everytime you're not with Ellie, not under her touch, not near her warmth. Craving her like some drug. Completely dependent on her to feel something, anything.
Then again, she'd much rather not have you go through a single bad experience with her, -that's what she promised, yet..- unless you really push it she'd be as gentle as the night sky.
Just be her sweet escape, the darling she can come back home to, her beloved. It's about time you get used to it by now.
