solid skate from lap kan!
Tumblr media
2. i usually really hate voiceovers in skating music but dawei's slaps actually, this is the only time it's worked ever, he is the only skater with rights
Tumblr media
3. i think the judges should close their eyes at the fall, if someone brings as much energy and pizzazz as darian does they should be forgiven a fall
Tumblr media
4. bit of a rough skate from adonis with his jumps, but the second part of the program was just so much better overall
5. honestly really loved fang-yi's program, even with the fall it just felt really cohesive, really good performance

Happy Tag Game
I got retagged in this by @my-writblr, TY cariad :D
Rules: When you receive this, list 5 things that make you happy and send this to 10 of the last people in your notifications! :)
I just got a new desk! So much more space :D My brother kindly helped me with a tip-run so I also have less crap in the house overall ^.^
LIFX bulbs - Mine died a few months ago, so I've been putting up with a crappy CFL which makes waking up - even in summer - really difficult and makes me feel disassociated in the evening. I've just got a new LIFX bulb; being slowly woken by a bright white light in the mornings is wonderful.
Sun puddles - Now summer is getting closer, there're more puddles of sunlight in the lounge and the desire to just curl up and sleep in them is way too strong ^.^;
My tiny balcony garden (and adjacent indoor plants). Spurred on by the new desk purchase, I went out and bought some balcony baskets, so now my "garden" consists of: a blueberry bush from last year (B/Day gift from my Mum); an unwanted tomato plant from my Uncle; two flower pots; a strawberry plant; a Bird of Paradise; a cactus, a succulent, and an Amaryllis.
Having short hair - I hate having long hair during the summer, it's hard to handle, makes my face hot and itchy and is just a PITA. So I got it cut recently, and now it's blissfully short again :D
As I don't have a general tag games list, I'm going to tag the last 10 people in my notifs as instructed.
Dear last 10 people in my notifs, please feel free to ignore this if you don't fancy playing.

Get to Know Tag
I got tagged in this by @iparisaltanwing and @lowslore. Thanks guys <3
Rules: tag 9 people you want to get to know/catch up with
Favorite color: Still purple, but am very much enjoying the “it’s just snowed and now the sky is clear again” brilliant-but-somehow-translucent blue
Last song: The Gent and I listened to a lot of classical rock while cooking over the Xmas break, but I cannot recall the last one I heard. Probably something by AC/DC or Led Zeppelin ^.^;
Currently reading: Nothing; I am between worlds right now. However I got given a load of books over Xmas, so I’ll probably start with “Rain: Four Walks in English Weather“ by Melissa Harrison
Last movie at home: Wish Dragon. It’s basically “Aladdin, only the Genie is a Dragon”, but it still gave me a punch to the heart.
Sweet, savory, or spicy: Spicy. I’m having a small craving for something with ginger in it rn (although I’m still all three as and when)
Currently working on: A prompt from the Homestead’s Fall Prompt Week; as yet untitled, it’s a short story turning the concept of good/ evil being light/ dark on its head. Also the first draft of The Ruby Falls, a modern/ fix-it AU of TESIV: Oblivion.
Tagging: @strosmkai-rum @chauceryfairytales @morganwriteblr @warriorbookworm @odysseywritings @spacetimewraithwrites @jaguarthecat @dreamwishing @alias-levi (IDK who’s still active or still wants tag games, so please let me know if you want taken off this list)

Emissaries of Shield
Charlie “Chip” Thompson AKA Orb Weaver
⁃ The younger brother of Flash Thompson, she became Orb Weaver when a radioactive orb weaver spider bit her
⁃ Him and Peter originally knew each other from school since he’d help him up after his dumb brother pushed him down, then they met as Spider Man and Orb Weaver. They’re not super tight or anything, and compete to be the “better spider” during hero stuff
⁃ He’s called Chip cause 1. It’s a nickname for Charles and 2. Cause he wanted to match having a nickname like his big brother
⁃ He’s a jock at school, always wears his Letterman jacket and is one of those kid that kicks a soccer ball around or dribbles a basketball in halls between classes
Watami Watanabe AKA Iron Sorceress
⁃ Is an old friend of Danny’s, she was born in Kamar Taj and lived with her father Wong, and Danny would often visit and they’d study/train together
⁃ She eventually moved to K’un Lun to train alongside Danny, though he did gain the Iron Fist while she was fine with that, she liked fighting with the Mystic Arts better anyways and congratulated him
⁃ She was recruited by Shield at the same time as Danny, as he recommended her for her willingness to learn and expertise in magic
⁃ She’s still as calm and stoic as before, I changed her last name cause it sounds way better with her first name
Darian Cage AKA Mr. Invincible
⁃ Is now the older brother of Luke Cage, still dating Beverly Frost
⁃ He’s literally the exact same as before so I won’t talk much about him in this, still loves sports and cutting/styling people’s hair for them. He loves working at the local barbershop because he likes hearing the stories people tell him
⁃ Wanted them to be called the Fantabulous Five but that got vetoed so quickly by Fabian
Fabian Incógnito AKA El Tigre Blanco
⁃ The cousin of Ava Ayala, he doesn’t have the White Tiger amulet but he’s training with her to learn to control it one day, but he does have control over an actual Jade Tiger (like in the comics)
⁃ He’s extremely intelligent and a good hunter as he calls it (hunting villains, not animals). He doesn’t try in school but he still gets straight As somehow
⁃ He doesn’t talk much, and when he does it’s only in Spanish and like, 2 words only
⁃ He’s the mom friend, he’ll put blankets over his friends if they fall asleep on the couch and make dinner for them and help them with their homework
Kilo Kameāloha AKA Supernova
⁃ His name means One Who Observes the Stars, Daydreamer, which is extremely fitting (pronounced like Kylo)
⁃ He’s one of Manuela’s younger brothers (he’s 14) and he was always in love with the stars, and would sail out at night to stargaze and watch the stars reflect in the ocean (then he got scolded for sailing at night by himself)
⁃ Kilo received a Nova helmet one night while out sailing, and once Shield contacted him and told him the story of how the Nova Corps fell he was determined to keep the name alive
⁃ He treats Sam like an older brother, and acts just like his annoying little brother and they’ll compete with each other. Brags that he’s called Supernova and Sam’s just Nova

⁃ She has healing powers (not a healing factor) from her mother, though life threatening injuries drain her and she’ll be out for days if the injury was that great
⁃ Watami grew up bouncing between the New York Sanctum, K’un-Lun and Kamar Taj (in this timeline Danny’s an adult since I’m going with the comic Defenders for these guys). She was trained in the mystic arts her whole life, she’s also skilled in many martial arts, and with the katana and Okinawan Sai’s
⁃ She’s a very quiet and stoic girl like her father, good luck getting her to smile. Not that she’s not happy, she’s a very peaceful and serene woman, just stoic
⁃ When Doctor Strange arrived, her and Wong would just sit at their checkout counter and stare at him as he walked through the library. They also would only tell him their first names so Strange called them Beyoncé and Shakira
⁃ Watami’s also skilled in music, she can play the piano, shamisen, koto, erhu and konghou. She’ll usually play them in the library while her father shelves books
⁃ She also found her relic, The Jade Amulet at a young age. The amulet allows her to put those in the vicinity of her in a sort of trance like state, but it’s able to ease their pain, fear and will relax them. It also persuaded them to not attack her so that she can help them if necessary. She was glad she got a relic like that rather than the Sword of Death or something unreasonably violent like that
⁃ She met Adversary, Moon Marshal and Darian Cage when she and her father were just chilling in the New York Sanctum, and those three hooligans fell through their skylight and onto the lobby stairs. She got them tea and tended to their injuries, listened to them explain who they were, then by the end of the night she was begging her father to let her join them. He only let her because he knew their fathers knew Danny Rand
⁃ Speaking of, Danny used to train her in chi magic and Chinese martial arts. He wanted her to come to K’un-Lin permanently to one day become the next Iron Fist because she had so much potential, but she declined
⁃ She’s a great enemy of the Silver Samurai, because when she joined the Defenders she would be the one to fight them since she was the only one with any honor (no offense dudes-)
