The funniest kind of critical role "critique" is always going to be the 'they present themselves as if they aren’t rich/a company no I will not give any examples' crowd. Like what does this even mean. They start literally every single episode with informing you they are professional voice actors. They have clearly advertised sponsors. They have an entire line of merch and an animated show. The production value of the set is bonkers. They run a charity foundation. Do you want them to start every episode with a blaring siren and a warning saying 'beware! company run content! we make money!!' Are you just angry that they are friends having fun as they make a living. Do you have any understanding of how money works.

He doesn't bare his teeth enough, and while I like playing him gentle, I have to admit I have been slacking quite a bit in giving him that sharp edge he has. I've never been very good at balancing soft but cynical, but this is something I will be trying to correct from this point onward.

Yes ?? I'm very aware of this ??? But I enjoy talking about romance , even outside of trying to fish for compliments (which I'll admit I do, but nawt all the time) . Fantasizing about having a relationship brings me comfort and that's something I can't help , and is literally harmless .

I am very aware I can't like,, force others to wanna date me via posting about how baaaadly I want a partner or whatever . And that isn't what I'm trying to do . I like to imagine Hawke and Anders saying "No matter what, I will do it." or something along those lines to each other under the same circumstances but with totally different reasons behind it. Anders says it because he has a duty he has to fulfill and nothing will come between him and his cause, not Hawke nor all the love that comes along with them. He will not waver with the promise of someone's warmth when everyone he used to be and stands for wouldn't dare speak of it, because the templars will hear it, they wouldn't even be able to dream of it because then the demons would come rushing. He won't turn around just because he got lucky and he had it better than most. It could be the templars, the chantry or the companions they made along the way, the lover or even his death, he won't stop. But when Hawke says it they are thinking that even though they might not know all of it, they know who they are with and who they want to protect, and that is enough. For them no matter what means that love is an experience and will never be just one thing, but the whole of a person and if it means a hard decision he decided Hawke isn't to make that the majority will stand against them for, then be it. If Anders is to be shunned for a sacrifice he made to be a voice of many, even by some of those same people he is fighting for, bring it on. They mean that whatever you decide, I will be there.

shes just so happy and carefree and lovely and smiley. she cares about everything so purely and with such passion. and yeah she still hides all her negativity deep inside but shes learned that it's ok to express it and move forward with a genuine smile. whats not to love.
