Idea: Danny didn't get kidnapped.

He chose to go with them.

Danny knows that there is only so much he can do as a single person, but with the support of the entire Court of Owls? He can tear down Bruce' life Piece. By. Piece.

Danny also knows that he will be doing the same to the Court of Owls once he's done with them, he just needs to pretend to be a good little Talon until his work is Done. Then he can simply murder the rest of them. Not really much need to extend their suffering like he did for Bruce, he doesn't Hate them enough to let them live longer.

What does he actually do to ruin Bruce's life though? Well...

(Btw this is just me putting all the batfam through their worst case scenarios I can think of for each one personally)

(Why did he do all this? Well, you know how his parents were sent to prison? And you know how child abusers are treated in prison? They got killed in Prison and Danny went full on Dan, but focused on specifically Bruce)

First, he takes his Family from him one by one.

Dick is taken while on Patrol. He is given to the CoO and turned into the Gray Son, loosing all emotional connection to his Family. He still remembers them, he just doesn't care.

He visits Barbara and finishes the Job that Joker started. He paralyzes her even further and makes her a loose everything but her Body

Jason is next. It's pretty simple to force the Pit Madness to resurface 100x stronger than ever. He goes on a Rampage in his own Territory, and is eventually killed by a Rival gang leader landing a lucky Shot.

Tim is kidnapped by the Joker and turned into Joker Jr. like in the Cartoon. This was a team mission between Joker and Danny, before Danny killed the Joker too. He still hates clowns.

Damian was next. All he really had to do was kidnap him and mind control him into forgetting about the past few years with his Family. He is then sent back to the LoA and re-brainwashed a second time.

Cass, Steph, and Duke are just killed painlessly. They had at been kinder to Danny and tried to protest his adoption, and had tried helping him through his grief. Still, he knew they would have sided with Batman in the end.

Then to top it all off he reveals Bruce's identity to the world and robs him of the Mask of Brucie Wayne. Just like he had done for Danny.

Maybe he even ruins his friends lives? He reveals Superman and Wonder Woman's Identities as well so he knows that his friends loves being ruined was also his fault.

This was just me bullying the Batfam, and now I feel bad... oh well!

The one where Bruce is the asshole (again)

So! We have a typical story where the JLA finds out about the Situation in Amity.

Whichever way they find out doesn't matter, but either way they end up sending Batman to do a threat analysis and review of whether this requires their attention.

And while there, he runs into a Kid who obviously needs to be saved from his Abusive Home. Look at him, he's far too thin, his grades are horrible, he has many unexcused absences, and he has bruises hidden under his clothes.

Even after figuring out that Danny is Phantom the local Hero, he thinks Danny needs to be saved from his Parents.

I mean, it's plain to see! They Hates Ghosts with a Passion, negelct their son very often, shoot at him nearly every day, and are probably the ones who killed him in the first place!

So, with no input from Danny himself, Bruce calls CPS on the Fentons and uses his Wealth to expedite the process and avoid the actual Investigation. (I mean, why would you even need one? It's so obviously a bad home!)

The Fenton's are arrested, and Bruce reveals that Danny is Phantom to convince the Courts that they are horrible people for shooting at their own son, and that they should be locked up (ignoring the horrified looks on their faces, probably cause they were living with a Ghost for so long, thats probably why).

He immediately offers to adopt Danny, even when Danny vehemently refuses his offer. He knows that Danny will come around to it, he's doing this for his own good. He still thinks his Parents were good people, and not thr Villains they really were.

Meanwhile Danny's life has been completely uprooted thanks to the self-righteous machinations of an Adoption Crazed Fruitloop! And not even the usual one!

Sure his parents were often busy with their work, but they Always set aside time to hang out with their kids and make sure they were okay. They never abused him, the neglect was only for like a month or two when the portal before they got their act together and apologized for it, and (most importantly) THEY DIDN'T KNOW he was a Halfa when they shot at him! They only found out when the ASSHOLE revealed his Identity in Court!

And Danny is Extra enraged by that part. The Adoption Crazed Fruitloop had revealed his secret identity for the ENTIRE WORLD TO HEAR!

He would never be able to live a normal life anymore, even if he managed to get away from the Moron who caused all this!

Bruce Wayne was a Villain in his eyes.

He ripped him from his home and from his family (basically kidnapped), revealed his identity to the world so he was forced to stay with him for fear of the GIW, and spun the whole story so that it looked like he was the Good Guy in this!?

It was official. Danny Hates Bruce Wayne, possibly more than anyone else in the World.

And that's a High Bar.

Halloween prompts no. 11

Something happens where Lazarus pits are opening up all over the world and no one knows whats going on or how to stop it.

Robin and Red Robin find a boy at a Lazarus Pit and watch from the shadows as the boy raises a hand and his eyes glow the same as those who carry the pit madness, the only difference was the sharp white light of his pupils. Within moments the Lazarus Pit seems to crumple in on itself but in reverse. The stones rising from within the pit and the glowing waters receding until there was no hint a pit was there in the first place.

Damian rushes in with his katana despite his brother telling him to stop and demands the boy explain. Instead he vanishes into thin air. The birds fight as the boy makes his unseen escape.

This continues with Lazarus Pits opening and just as mysteriously closing and the batfam/Justice League enter a race against the League of Assasins, the League of Shadows and the Chaos Lords, as well as many other factions who want to capture this child and learn his secrets.

After all, its clear that this boy knows far more about Lazarus than anyone has a right to, and perhaps even whats going on.

Danny keeps getting saved and saving these strange people. Mostly these ones in red black and yellow. Sometimes purple. Also they have muscles...Ancients. Sam had always joked that a good heart and muscles made him swoon, but he never knew he was this bad. How dare he. Getting back on track, he enters into a pseudo partnership with one of them as they work together to avoid Danny being captured and using weapons made from blood blossom plants to fight boss battles against the monsters the currupted Lazarus Pits spawn (or "Pit Bosses" as Jason calls them) Danny immediately closes the pit after the monster had been defeated and turned into goo.

Danny never explains himself. Who he is (other than his first name), whats happening, how is he connected to these events, how he's closing the pits, what are those things, nothing. Cue batfam member using thier detective training and gathering clues to discover the truth.

At the end of the journey they work together to fight an Ancient. A truly ancient being from Lazarus itself seeking to murder the prince and usurp his throne by drowning this world in the toxic energy of Lazarus and devouring the souls of all that passed, gaining the power necessary to rule.

They beat him of course and Danny slays him once and for all with a spear made from the stems and thorny vines of the blood blossom plant. Later, while everyone else is celebrating, Danny tries to sneak away and the batfam member follows him to a bus stop near the party. They can still faintly hear the people as they stand there under the streetlight.

"Where you really planning to leave without saying goodbye?"

"It would probably be for the best."

"And why is that?"

Cue love confession that tuggs at readers heartstrings and Danny confessing back only for Danny to reveal his Phantom form and tell them it could never work as Danny was a spirit of Lazarus, the prince himself, and it could never work between them as Danny had died years ago and left the living world and all his connections to it behind.

Phantom couldn't sustain himself in the living realms without the power of the Lazarus Pits everywhere as he would fade if he didn't return to his own reality. The batfam member couldn't come to Lazarus because the place was toxic to the living and they could never survive there.

They had to say goodbye.

A portal opens up behind Danny, making him seem to glow all the more and imprinting a scene of ethereal beauty into the batfam members mind forever. Then he was gone and they were left alone and hollow with the sounds of others joy not too far away.

Dick comes by soon after to ask what that light was only to see his little sibling staring blankly ahead and silently crying. Dick bundles them into his arms and they start sobbing, letting loose the most soul shattering sound big bird had ever heard.

The end.

Or is it?

Most of the people involved had been exposed to high levels of ecto radiation off and on throughout this adventure, and the batfam member can't help but think of what could have been. Couldn't help but think of the future they could have had together, the dumb quips Danny would make, the way his brow would furrow whenever he was worried about someone, the cute way he'd turn invisible when startled bad enough or-or!

The batfam watch uncomfortably as one of thier own falls apart, but its just heartbreak right? Little do they know the true essence of Lazarus isn't just life or death.

Little baby man idea

So damian finds little baby man and decides he's damians new baby

A few months pass and damian is kidnapped by the LoA, and separated from little baby man, after he sees the batfam loosing their minds about damian being kidnapped danny goes full overprotective mode

When the rescue plan happens there was a mistake and the mission fails and all the batfam are about to be killed

When little babyman comes out of one of the batfams clothes

Damian, seeing him, tries to get little baby man danny to run away

Ra seeing damian care about this creature decides to use it to torment him, goes on a rant about how he's become weak and all that

Little baby man is now full obssession and his ghost king powers kick in

Little baby man is now big demon man

Danny growes to the size of a building, sharp needle teeth with ectoplasm leaking out of his mouth like drool, pitch black eyes that look like black holes, an ice crown floating above his head with a ring of fire on his finger,hissing that sounds like the screaming souls of the dead, blue skin, black claws and tail wrapping protectively around the tied up batfam

Everyone watches in horror as damians most recent pet becomes a terrifying pit demon

Danny destroys the lair and kills all the assasins he can, he ends up hurtin Ra al Ghul so much he looses both his arms

Then he goes over to damian and wrapes him up with his tail with the other batfam

Then it looks like space and time itself bend to his will and suddenly their in the batcave still tied up

They look around to see little baby man, back to being little taring at damians restaurants and looking him over, and just being a protective and caring creature

Everyone except damian is terrified

Damian is proud of danny and is already making a list of treats to give him

It would also be so funny if the batfam didn't even find out about this? They'd only know the court is panicking and so they would stalk them and one day, they'd accidentally come across this weird as fuck family. I imagine it'd go like this

(btw I tried to make their speech not quite right, the reason why they don't use they/she/he pronounce is bc no one ever refered to them w them, it was always it so they think it's normal. Same thing w the thing where they put the in front of a name, since it was always refered to them as the talon. Not sure if this is canon, or if it's correct, but if I'm wrong pls do correct me and imma change it)

*batfam comes into their hide out, the (undead) fam is abt to throw hands*

Danny: (oh shit that's not good what to do)

Danny: (oh!) *Starts crying*

Cue to undead fam dropping their weapons and just going to check on the Baby. Like full on

Blade: what's going on with the Danny?

Papa talon: we let the Danny fly this afternoon right?

Sky: yes, I made sure the Danny flied enough. Did we forgot to give him food?

Wolf: no, no. We did give the Danny the food. Maybe it's green water time? (On unrelated note, the idea of talons stealing from Lazarus pit and Ras loosing his mind over it is very funny to me)

Buddy: ...maybe the big bat is bothering the Danny.

*cue to weapons being prepared to get rid of the batfam*

Stone: wait! The big bat has the Danny of its own!

*all the talons looks at batman and red hood specifically*

Buddy: ....the big bat's baby is not crying

In the end, batman ends up surrounded with the undead fam, Danny in his arms, finally not crying bc this is the best way to end conflict right? Also the talons may try to feed Damian and Jason the pit water

DP x DC Crossover where Danny gets de-aged more towards his ghost-age and got adopted.

But he didn't exactly get adopted by a batfamily member, or even any hero, or a villain.

Honestly this Talon who just found a literal toddler that surfaced in a runoff of the Lazarus Pit is rather confused. Like on one hand should they be killing it?? But the idea of killing the strange tiny talon-sibling seems so viscerally wrong???

Welcome to having the first mental breakdown of many funky golden-eyed man that Danny thinks might be more feral than he is. Oh well, at least this person isn't a fruitloop and speaks in sort-of ghost speak? And sometimes more gold-eyed people appear to help care for him? Like they obviously don't know how to do so, but they're trying their best and honestly he's pretty self-sufficient. Ish.

The Court of Owls have no fuckin' clue where a good third of their Talons have disappeared to or why they can't call them back.

honestly, it’s hilarious bc out of the theatre, most of Danny’s grace violently chucks itself out of the window. he’s not actually a klutz, he just gets lazy bc he’s not nearly as focused on the world around him unless it poses as an immediate threat.

his laid back demeanor (whenever the sensation of your sins crawling on your back dies down) overwhelms his impeccable skill on the stage, bc while he can in fact throw himself across a stage into a fellow dancers arms as if he were meant to be there, he will loose his footing bc “I swear there was a rock there” but he was definitely on the phone with a friend and distracted by a well hidden batfam member.

the only reason the batfam find his unholy amount of injuries acceptable is bc they collectively watch him fall over himself like he’s a baby cow. but at the sight of a remnant of a head injury, they immediately band together in rage (and they may be a tad possessive/protective, screw off) and start including Danny’s route to his apartment complex as part of their patrols. they take turns (just so they don’t turn on each other) following Danny and making sure he doesn’t get to many bumps and scrapes.

Dick is the first one to try walking Danny home (as Nightwing). he does it after seeing the boy have a particularly long day or performance, but makes the mistake of slinking out of the alley without making a sound. so he’s only so surprised when he goes to speak “Would you mind- fuck!” “-holy shit!” and proceeds to get sucker punched square on his nose (like he was slammed into a brick wall). Danny is out of his mind with apologies bc holy shit, Fenton just punched the fuck out of Nightwing, and Dick is as in awe as he is reeling bc that shit was solid.

Danny broke Dick’s nose. and Danny’s as anxious as he is worried since he just hit Nightwing and he knows he packs a punch. in a very unnatural way. Dick laughs it off, granted with a bloody nose, and apologizes. explains himself and walks Danny home while also asking where he learned to land a hit like that. Danny tried to apologize, but when a vigilante (of Gotham of all places) passes it off, he knows it’s okay.

the brothers laugh at Dick whenever he gets back, thinking a henchman got him good only to be strangely in awe (and jealous) when Dick says it was actually Danny. and that he has a real good left hook. ofc, this leads to the batfam (in vigilante form) taking turns walking Danny home.

that specific incident allows Danny to learn that Dick Grayson is Nightwing. if his splinted nose has anything to say about it. Danny’s imagination about the other bats and robins of Gotham whirl around him because of it.

fun fact, i wasn’t gonna include anything beyond the third paragraph but then i wrote out some of the tags and had to include Danny actually punching Dick in the face.

somehow, i actually imagine he separately punched Dick (Grayson) in the face bc he prob approached him after a performance in an alley or something and wigged him out. that time, Danny just gave him a good nosebleed tho. i’d think this is actually after Danny breaks his nose. maybe. idk but it’s funny either way to me.

Hi hi hi ballet dancer Danny. Yeah this is a very loose connection but the idea of him performing at some fancy like. Grand opening of a theater or something and the Wayne family is expected to watch tickles me to no end. Just. Every single one of the birdies fall in love right then and there. Bright blue heart eyes on all of them.

Then there's Phantom (I would come up with a play off a ballet but despite being a ballet dancer, I don't actually know many ballets) who pretty obviously has the movements of a professionally trained dancer. Doesn't even have to be only ballet. Mix some contemporary or modern in there. Some contortion and gymnastics? Got yourself an elegant and flexible mfer right there.

I love this. Did you know that some combat experts actually recommend learning some form of dance style before learning how to fight? It builds up muscle and teaches you posture and how to control your body better so there's less chance of injury.

Anyway, I love the idea that all the batkids just fall for the same person on sight. Can you imaging the bickering? The fights? Them racing off to flirt with the pretty ballet guy every chance they get. Lol, Danny freaking out and calling his friends saying the batclan keep finding him and he thinks they're onto him being Phantom.

Danny also quickly discovers their identities because of this, a fact none of them know about and one he intends to keep secret.
