Painting of a random lady, referenced from pinterest. After trying a few shimmering paint samples from my sister's new taobao loot, I decided to give these paints another chance. I bought them many years back, from workshop held by an online artshop called Arters. The colors were quite dull, and there were some shimmer on the purple paint, which made it a bit hard for me to put in with the others as i tend to be quite messy with my paints. Doodled the girl and thought i might screw up the painting due to less experience with these paints. Turns out it works quite nicely. I used it alongside an old batch of holbein yellows and found that the rhodonite works pretty well to make some skin tones. The blue felt dull at first, but it produced some interesting, antique looking colors. Used the purple shimmering to bring out the starry feeling more.

NHL Expansion Draft 2021: Full list of players available for Seattle Kraken

The NHL announced the protected lists for the 30 teams involved in the NHL Expansion Draft. (Vegas is exempt.) With the names of those protected come the guys who could be snatched up by the Seattle Kraken. There are a number of big names that have everyone trying to figure out just what general manager Ron Francis will do. Will he take Canadiens netminder, and future Hall of Famer, Carey Price and his hefty cap hit? Is Vladimir Tarasenko the sniper he needs or is his health a big question mark? Day 20 of #28daychallenge Theme: All Things Beautiful My piece from this morning at Labrador Park… our first outdoor sketch event in the last few months. So glad to see so many show up and having a ball! 🤗 Labrador Nature Reserve sits at the southwesterly coast of Singapore, and is a beautiful oasis amidst heartland housing estates to the north, and Sentosa island (super high-end real estate) to the southeast. The red structure to the right is a beacon to guide boats and yachts coming into the marina. The cement structure to the left is a decommissioned gunner bunker used all the way back in WWII. Labrador Park and Sentosa island (southern coasts) were lined with huge guns in bunkers just like this one, built by the English Armed Forces, ‘cos they had expected the Japanese Navy and Airforce to attack Singapore from the southern coasts, but the sneaky Japanese armed forces came from the north after also taking Malaysia. That is why Sentosa island used to be named Pulau Belakang Mati during the Japanese Occupation, which means “death from behind”.
