"Danny and Damian are twins AU" with a sprinkle of "Danny has amnesia of his time with the League" and a shake of "Dani and Dan in a clone body act like Danny's siblings" to make:

Vlad invites the Fenton children to a gala in Gotham and is paying them each to make him look like a good godfather ("But you're not" Danny protests, to which Vlad responds, "Yes, but they don't care, Daniel, people only bring children to these events to show off and then shove them back wherever they came from for the rest of the year. Just don't embarrass me and no one will care.")

Damian recognizes Danny as his (probably dead) twin brother and approaches, only for Danny to not recognize him leading to:

Danny: It's nice to meet you! I'm Danny Fenton, and this is my twin brother, Damian. Dan, who does NOT have amnesia and hates Damian, but chose his name as his offical name just to mess with him: >:D

So Demon twins but Danny was never raised in the League. He was brok sickly so Ra’s chucked him in the Lazarus pit and he never came out.

He emerged on the other side of the world in a pool of ectoplasm and got adopted by the Fentons.

14, he died.

15, he had a clone, Danielle, and she went to travel the world, starting in Venice

He knows he was adopted, Vlad spilled the beans during a fight, and when he was 16, he decided to tell his parents he was Phantom. (for the first time in my prompts) It went well.

When he was 17 and about to graduate high school, he decided to do a DNA test and find out who his bio parents are.

Bruce Wayne and an Unknown

Sends a letter to Bruce and doesn’t really expect a response.

He gets one.

Bruce Wayne knocks on his door 5 days after he sent the letter and offers to let Danny stay in Gotham with him while he takes a gap year. Danny agrees.

He meets Damian (doesn’t really matter is Damian knew of Danny existence or not) and everyone else and has a great time.

Eventually, Danny brings up things that alludes to his vigilante past

“Ya know, back when I was dead-”

“Metaphorical, right?”

“… sure. Anyway!-”

“Killed 17 people?! Tsk tsk, my rouges would never! Not even the clown! So, do you want Thai or Indian takeout?”

“… what was that?”

“Thai or Indian?”

“What- no, that not what I- *sigh* Thai, please.”

Eventually, he brings up his Dani.

“Oh yeah, my clone loves to travel!”

“Your what?”

“My clone! She’s more like a sister though.”

“Okay… where is she??”

“Shes traveling. Last I heard she was running with a group called the League of Assassins. Or was it assailants?”

“Do you want to meet her..?”

“YES.”

So Dani joined the LOA. Not the worst thing she could’ve done.

Talia took one look at this girl she found in Venice that looked exactly like her beloved and thought ‘why not?’ And offered her a place to stay.

So she’s been running with assassins. It’s not that bad and she learned how to fight. Talia mothers her and protects her from Ra’s good mom Talia, she will not raise Danielle like she raised Damian Eventually Dani gets a message from Danny saying that his biological family wants to meet her.

She goes with Talia’s okay and heads to Gotham.

Unlike her template, she knows that the Waynes are the Bats and loves teasing them about it.

“You’re billionaires, right? Wow, I really hope you don’t have a secret lair under this mansion!”

“… right, right. That would be weird.”

Damian doesn’t know what to make of Danielle. On one hand, he’s always wanted a sister, and she’s biologically related to him. On the other hand, she willingly works with the people that took away Damian’s childhood.

Danielle doesn’t have the blind devotion to the LOA that he had, and he thinks that she’s been manipulated by Ra’s and spends his time trying to convince her to stay in Gotham with them.

So now Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul get into a custody battle. (Talia wants also Danny and Bruce wants Dani)

Wind of it reaches the press and now the whole world is invested.

DP × DC where Daniel is adopted by the Fenton's, but he isn't a Wayne/al Ghul, but rather, he's Cassandra Cain's older brother who managed to slip his leash and escape. Before his biological donor could find and recover him, Daniel Cain is instead found by Jazmine Fenton, who brings Daniel to her parents and tells them she wants him to be her little brother. Madeline does not ask about Daniel's family as she can see the damage, and Jack shows off his talent for seeing the good in eople to see that the kid needs a good home.

All it takes is one call to Vlad, who is in a trifecta relationship with the Fenton adults, to make the arrangements. Gone is Daniel Cain, and in his place is Daniel Vladimir Fenton.

Danny tries to forget much of his past until some encouragement from Jazz makes Danny decide to track down his past, using his connections to he Infinite Realms and his status as the Kind Benevolent Ghost King he begins his search. Eventually, the ghosts point him towards Gotham, where he meets a girl who reminds him of Dani.

This is in a scenario where Madeline and Jack accept that their adopted son is Phantom. They also accept that Plasmius is Vlad's other half and welcome both parts with open arms, mostly Jack's open arms via the Fenton Bear Hug.

Danny is now searching Gorham for his past, unaware that the girl he first met was, in fact, the little sister he never knew of nor that his biological donor, David Cain is also in Gotham.

Ooo interesting setup~ Wonder how Cassandra would handle all this. I can see her not believing it at first- then perhaps confused/hurt why he never tried to find her. But essentially can see her being happy to have another brother. Especially as I can see Danny getting protective. Ahh Bruce be upset, this ones taken- jk. But oof yeah they probably run into their father.

Oh, this will be fun!

Okay, first things first would be the absolute disbelief from the batfam from Damian's announcement. Because Damian. Damian "Demon Brat" Wayne, had a friend. A friend that they didn't have the knowledge of knowing until just then.

With Damian springing it on them, they didn't have the time to ask any important questions, let alone do a background check on the kid and their family.

From what Damian told them, the kid they were meeting was named Danielle, but she preferred to be called Ellie. She and her parents had moved to Gotham not too long ago. He met her on a pure coincidence. And of course, with how paranoid the Batfam was, that didn't settle well for them. The parents could've sent their child to get close to the Wayne family for the money. Or kidnap Damian!

Tim walked up to Damian and ruffled his hair while teasing the younger Wayne about how he finally made a friend that wasn't an animal. With a scoff and a swat as a way to get rid of the opposing limb, Damian turned and left the manor while slamming the door behind him.

As soon as it closed, Tim raced back to where he left his computer. There was no way he wasn't going to let his little brother go anywhere unknown without at least two trackers on him. And with how the others quickly scrambled behind him to get a look on his computer, the others had the same thought.

Damian, however, was excited to visit Dani and her family.

The two had met when he was leaving school and waiting for Alfred to pick him up. And she wasn't that far from him, standing near the road waiting for someone to pick her up as well. At first glance, she looks like she could be someone adopted by father. Black hair tied to a ponytail and shockingly bright blue eyes. Immediately, he saw her as someone that his father would try to adopt just off of appearance alone. With her seeming to be around his age, he could claim that he could have a sibling to interact with more.

Of course, it wasn't long before the stranger took notice of his staring and turned to look him dead on. Her eyes meeting his in a serious stare down where neither of them moved.

When Damian made the move to speak, a car pulled up in front of the girl. The passenger side window rolling down and someone talking to the girl. She responded in turn before opening the passenger side door and getting in. Damian could only stand and watch as the car soon pulled away from the school and drive away into the distance. Not long afterwards, Alfred arrived to pick him up and he rode in silence on the way home while contemplating the other student that he met.

Okay! Here's how I feel like it would go down with their so called meeting out of the way.

Damian would see Dani and would immediately assume that she would be some sort of clone of either his father or one of the other bats. Was she sent to his school to watch and observe him? Did she know who his alter ego was?

After that, he would be watching her every move during class, surprising himself to find out that she was even in a few of his classes. Suspicious.

Does he approach her? No, because that would put too much on him and probably give her the opening she was expecting. He was ten steps ahead of her in every way!

Day after day, he watches and takes note of everything that she does, trying to notice any oddities in her behavior. Or any sign that she was spying on him.

While she didn't seem to be spying on him directly, Damian did notice her personality of being strong willed, stubborn and having a love for puns. Hm, a clone of the Robins maybe instead of Batman?

Dani, on the other hand, is wondering why the young Wayne seemed to be following her from a distance ever since they've seen each other that day on the end of school. From what Danny told her, it was the older Wayne's that she was supposed to avoid in case she was forcefully kidnapped, though it seemed that the younger Wayne was just as bad as the older ones.

How did Dani end up going to Damian's school, you ask? Well, it was simple:

Not long after Danny defeated Pariah Dark and took up the mantel as the next King of the Infinite Realms, Dani had returned from her travels around the world and decided to spend a bit of time with Danny as things calmed down. Maybe even get to know the others a bit better, seeing as she was never properly introduced to them.

She found out that he was dating both Sam and Tucker. Had been for a while now. Huh, go figure. And during that time of dating, she had arrived to catch up and spend a bit more time of all of them. Maybe even try to find a good reason to stay in Amity for a bit longer (even though she really loved to travel).

But not too long after that, a reveal gone wrong left Dani standing in a room with a frantic Sam packing up everything she owned while Jazz treated a barely conscious Danny's wound on his side. A gunshot wound that was from his parents no doubt.

One rushed explanation from Jazz about how the reveal went wrong, and how they had to leave Amity Park. Now.

With a quick meet up with Tucker, the five of them were huddled in a car and pedaling out of Amity as fast as they could. Dani staying in the back seat with Jazz to watch over Danny and make sure that he didn't pass out again on their way to-wherever it was they were going. Her core wouldn't allow it.

The clone didn't know how far they've been driving and for how long, but she knew that they were out of Amity and that was all that mattered. But the question bouncing around her head was: what happens now?

And the answer was to drive all the way called Gotham city and lay low for a while. Thankfully, a lot of the buildings were no questions asked. So when they find a place that could fit all of them (small and cramped as it was) while planning on what to do now. Of course Sam, Tucker, and Jazz all pretty much up and left without much except for some spare clothes and their ghost hunting gear (and a credit card Sam managed to snag from her mom's purse. Her own card didn't have as much on it.). But Danny was out of there and they were safe from both the Fentons and the GIW. For now.

Now, several weeks have passed. Jazz had managed to find a job to help with the money, while Sam and Tucker were both on the way as well. Which left Dani pretty much alone in the apartment with a slowly healing Danny. And while he was healing, he was kept on house arrest, much to his ire. Though he did help out with the cooking and other house chores while the others were out doing their own thing. And if the two of them occasionally floating outside their apartment during the night, who would tell on them?

When about two months passed, the older teens realized that Gotham would be their permanent home until further notice, so it would only be right that they allow Dani some time to get out as well.

So, they enroll her to school! Gotham U no less (Thank you, Tucker). Sure it was a bit stuffy for their tastes (mostly Sam's), but they were sure that Dani would fit in fine! What's the worst that could happen?

Unfortunately, Dani was a clone of Danny, so she was off to a bit of a rough start. And she hadn't really interacted with someone of her (supposed) age before, so it was all plenty new for her. So she really didn't know where to start.

It wasn't until she went to class that she met a kid in the back row facing the window, who looked like he didn't want to be in this class either. And during attendance she learned that his name was Damian Wayne. Odd, wasn't that the name of that rich family that Sam talked (more like complained) about? Oh well, coincidence maybe.

Throughout the entire day, Dani would notice that if they had the same class, he would be looking in her direction for moments at a time.

It was about the last class of the day when Dani pieced together as to why he could be doing that.

Oh..

He was shy!

Well, Dani would make sure that wouldn't last long. And maybe he would approach her soon.

So every day, Dani would work on getting to know him better. Even when he would brush her off and try to make her go away. She was as stubborn as Danny for a reason!

When the two finally became friends and Dani told that her new friend invited her to her house and also offered her parents, she forgot on whether or not that was truly the rich Wayne she was supposed to stay away from.

Dani had spoken about her friend plenty of times, and all of her parents seemed to like him.

Danny laughed every time Dani spoke about doing something or possibly pranking Damian, thinking that she was doing good with socialization and that the kid had to enjoy their friendship to some degree.

Sam was a bit more cautious of the friend, asking more of his likes and dislikes. Was he really bullying Dani? Did he say anything mean to her? Did she have to go to the school and fight a kid? All and all, Dani slowly convinced her that Damian was a good kid and she let it be. Telling Sam that Damian was a vegan may or may not have helped.

Tucker was a bit more lenient than the other two. The kid was nice to her? Didn't bully her? He was smart and knew his way around tech? Good

But as they stood in front of Wayne Mansion dressed in their more casual clothes, they all thought that they should've asked more questions about Dani's friend.

(All in all: neither of them have truly interacted with someone their age, your honor.)

Confrontations, miscommunication, and possibly a lot of bonding could come from both sides, and I would love to see it!

How to Become a Step-Dad in 5 Easy Steps: part 1

Jason meets Single Dad Danny who is taking care of a de-aged Dani while trying to get his degree at Gotham U. Both of them fall hard, hijinks and shenanigans ensue, simping on both sides.

Step 1: Meet an attractive single parent

As a Crime Lord/vigilante Red Hood had multiple safe houses that he used in and out of the mask. Some were for each exclusive identity to prevent anyone from linking them together and others used for both. Currently, Jason was walking out of his 2nd favorite safe house and the mostly permanent residence of “civilian and non-profit worker: Jason Todd” with a plate of cookies and a pan full of lasagna for his new neighbors that moved in two doors down. He may have been a street rat but he’d be damned if Alfred and Talia hadn’t taught him hospitality (it was a fact of life that grandparents and Asian people would try to feed their guests like their honor depended on it). Plus it was a great way to do some reconnaissance on whether or not these new neighbors could potentially pose an issue. The apartment complex was on the border of Crime Alley and Burnley meaning the people who lived there weren’t doing too hot money-wise but were at least able to avoid the worst of Crime Alley. Jason was just planning to go over introduce himself, hand over the homemade food, and head off to a different safe house to get his gear and patrol. However, he was not expecting to see his new neighbor standing outside struggling to open his own door, a six-year-old on his hip, arguing with someone over the phone. The young man had a lean build and appeared to be no older than 20, give or take a year or two. He had black bangs that cast a shadow on his face making his eye-bags appear even darker and startling blue eyes clouded with anger and resentment, likely towards whoever was on the phone. He was so occupied with his conversation he didn’t seem to notice that someone else had stepped into the hallway. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a loose white shirt with a NASA logo on it that slightly hung off his shoulder. He also wore a black hoodie with a white hood and neon green accents that seemed to be subject to his sister(?)’s death grip. Despite his disheveled state, there was something about his new neighbor that drew him in. His aura washed over Jason like a cool breeze on a hot day making it hard for Jason to look away. He would have continued assessing the man if he hadn’t made eye contact with the identical blue eyes of the young girl perched on his hip, who looked at him with a curious sparkle in her eyes. He discreetly turned back around to lock his own door, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation the elder (brother?) seemed to be having. It could provide some info on these new neighbors.

“-shut up Vlad! I’m not moving into your rich guy penthouse! I wouldn’t be taking any of your shady money if I didn’t need child support for Ellie!”

Huh. So her dad/guardian then?

“ Of course I have to do this Vald! What’s the other option, sending her back to a Frootloop like you?! … I’m not going to abandon Ellie for something that wasn’t her choice. She didn’t ask to be created Vlad that’s why she gets a chance.”

Okay so setting aside the rather concerning parts New Neighbor Guy™️ was definitely that child’s parent. Seems fairly rational as well.

“How do I know you’d be a terrible guardian? Plenty of reasons, do you want the list chronologically or alphabetized! You violated me, who you said you wanted to adopt despite me having two living parents, you created Ellie and several other failed attempts without my knowledge, you hid her from me, you tried to teach her to hate me before we even met, you named her Danielle after me instead of giving her her own identity, the list goes on and on Vlad! Do you want me to continue because that’s just the stuff that involves Ellie— I was 14, you middle-aged vampire look-alike! Of course I wasn’t jumping at the chance to become a teen dad! I was a freshman in high school! Besides you know what my parents are like, lab safety regulations were more like a healthy suggestion to them. I was in no position to be taking care of a child!”

Rage flashed in Jason’s eyes as he tightened his grip on his glass Tupperware pan full of lasagna. This conversation was not painting a pretty picture about his neighbor’s situation. He took a deep breath trying to calm himself before belatedly realizing his neighbor had gotten real quiet. He turned around, catching the tail end of his neighbor’s conversation as he finally succeeded in opening the door.

“Whatever Vlad, just keep paying your child support and for Ancients’ sake please stop trying to date my mom. …. Yeah, yeah screw you too Count Chocula.”

The neighbor set his daughter down, likely so she could enter the apartment, and slipped his phone from between his head and shoulder into his hand to hang up on that Vlad guy. Now seemed like as good a time as any to approach. Jason walked up the the young man and coughed trying to get his attention. The young man met Jason’s eyes with a somewhat surprised look. As if he wasn’t unaware of Jason’s presence but hadn’t expected him to talk to him. Jason decided he should start speaking now before things got too awkward.

“Uh- Hi, I’m Jason. I live a few doors down in 357,” he said glancing at the 353 on his neighbors’ door before he continued. “I heard you moving in a few days ago and thought I’d swing by with some food to welcome you to the building.” He stuck out his hand for the other to shake.

“Hi I’m Danny, Danny Nightingale,” he said taking Jason’s hand and ‘Wow his hands are cold’, “ and this little munchkin here is Ellie!” Danny and Ellie flashed him matching smiles like twin suns making Jason's heart melt. He returned their smiles before extending the food to Danny.

“ I don’t know if you’ve had time to get groceries yet but here’s some homemade lasagna if you need a quick meal while you’re getting settled,” he then crouched down to Ellie’s level and stage-whispered in her ear conspiratorially “ and there are some chocolate chip cookies on that plate too.”

Ellie giggled out a thank and threw her arms around Jason’s neck, giving him a quick hug before letting go and dashing into the apartment. Jason watched her go, stunned but feeling warm and fuzzy inside. He turned his attention back to Danny, who shook his head and huffed amusedly. They made eye contact as Jason rose and realized he was a head taller than the guy. He felt the heat expanding in his chest and crawling up his neck, curling behind his ears. He decided now that Ellie had gone in it would be a good time to talk to Danny about what he overheard.

“ So it really wasn’t my intention to do so but I overheard some of that conversation you were having over the phone earlier,” he watched Danny’s smile drop a bit as he winced. Jason awkwardly brought up his hand to scratch the back of his neck and continued.

“ Look I don’t wanna insert myself into your situation but if you ever need help I’m just a few doors down. And if that guy gets pushy or stops sending his child support I can help you find a couple of avenues you can take. Plus, although we’re technically outside Red Hood’s territory I’m sure he wouldn’t mind extending protection over you like he does for the other Crime Alley folk if ya really need it.”

Danny’s face smoothed out looking a bit flushed and appreciative as he went on. He gave Jason a small smile and replied, “ Thank you for the offer. I really do appreciate it. Might just take ya up on it at some point. As for Red Hood? I think I’ll avoid needing the protection of a crime boss vigilante if I can help it. Don’t worry too much about Vlad though. I’ve got him handled currently and he’ll behave if he knows what’s good for him!” Danny smiled threateningly towards the end of his reassurance. (‘His canines are peaking out that’s so cute’)

Jason chuckled with Danny as their eyes locked once more. They stayed lost in each others’ eyes for what seemed like hours before they heard a thump followed by a small “oof” coming from inside the apartment. Danny turned to the door and called out to Ellie,

“Ellie, what was that? Are you okay”

“I’m fine! My shirt just fell!”

“That sounded heavier than a shirt?”

“I was in it!”

Danny sighed, shaking his head before turning to Jason once more.

“Thank you again for the food, any chance you’d like to come in and have something to drink?”

“Thanks for the offer but I’ll have to decline. I need to start heading out for work.”

“Well then, I shouldn’t keep you. I’d hate to make you late for work.” He waved goodbye as Jason nodded his head and started walking down the hall.

His neighbors seemed entirely harmless he decided as he walked away. ‘The kid was cute’ he thought to himself. A smaller voice from the back of his head that sounded vaguely like the Pits chimed in ‘Her dad was even cuter.’

lmao little baby men meets the BatFam.

After getting babyfied, the group sticks together until Danielle goes off on her own. Danny tries to go after her but ends up getting separated and lost.

And that's how Damien found him!

Don't worry Dani quickly found the group again but once they found out Danny is lost, they freak out!

Wes probably finds Danny first and sticks to the shadows to gather info and blackmail material. (Oh wes...)

Then Danielle, who once again wondered off.

About a week or so later Sam and Tucker find them Via Wes that found them looking around nearby.

And of course since the main three plus the baby of the group were in one place, the resident heavy hitters made it their job to both berate and protect them. (Even though they were more than able to protect themselves)

Wes just pinged Valerie on her tracker after some rouges tried to break into Wayne manor and she dragged Dash with her.

And ofc the parents of the group found out where the children went after they dissapeared! Automatic assumptions of kidnapping occurs and they openly threat the batfam.

With Dan being the oldest, he's the biggest one of the group, which made the Fam immediately assume that Dan was the mother of all these small ghosts.

Dan is not amused with that fact.

He's a man, damnit! He has a beard and everything! Stop dressing him up with insultingly, sparkly, pretty bows!!

Everyone else finds it hilarious.

So when Wes finally shows himself and visibility being a bigger threat than Dan of all people with the whord of evidence piled against them. They begged Dan to stop it with the number of kids.

Dan has no control over that. They do not know that. Dan is contemplating babyfing other ghosts just to spite them.

Next thing they know ghosts like Vlad and Poindexter show up after getting zapped by the fentons, who have gone more or less on a rampage lmao.

With every new ghost, the Batfam freak out more and more.

Constantine is eventually called and IMMEDIATELY nopes the fuck away from Gotham the MOMENT Danny makes eye contact with him.

He tells BatMan that he could not PAY him ANY amount of money to go back there.

Damien sends the phantom Fam after him somehow.

Harley heard how someone new had killed the Joker and made her way to thank them; after all, he took all that the Joker had in money and goons. She saw the "Crime Boss" trying to feed two toddlers a bottle and failing…

That was how Harley and Ivy ended up as Mom Ivy and Mom Harley to the toddlers.

Don't ask how; Ivy was just so happy she could touch the four without them dying or being poisoned so she moved in. + Dan just gave up on the world.

What has he done to be punished that way? Tell me, Clockwork!

First, he turns him more human!

Then he sent him here with his younger self's clone, his younger self, and sister to this dimension!

And then he meets a Clown who tries to kill him only for him to rip out his head (think of Gojo taking Jogo head).

Then he has to try to find a way to take care of two babies and a teenager, only for that crazy lady to walk into his life!

The next thing he knows, he is living with her and her girlfriend. Somehow being together with both! + Both Ivy and Harley think that Dan was bad at naming children, who names them Daniel/Danny and Danielle/Ellie. At least Jasmine is a different name, but then she is his little sister. + Robin Jason. Jason was pretty proud to tell Batman that the Great Robin had found the one who killed the Joker. "He was a Dad who Joker attacked and he killed him in self Defense. Case Closed. Bonus He has a cute sister!"

Not that anyone would put him on trial in Gotham, even if Batman or the police tried.

So Batman and Jim made sure that the Joker was really dead and didn't fake it. GCPD: " His head is 10 meters away from his body!" James Gordon:" Just to make sure of it. We will Burn the body now." + And Jason in school talked to the sister of the one who killed the Joker, for a mission he says.

I love superhero stories that effectively involve the Furies - the unstoppable force of heroic intent meeting the immovable object of worldly reality. The Greek tragedy of it all - this is insoluble, it is already written, this is your fate, you cannot act other than how you have but it will be your downfall. If the (long, distant) roots of superhero comics are in heroic myths and legends, these stories and closer to that root.

The Sandman is a great example - Morpheus is obliged to act as he does, and killing Orpheus is an act of mercy that Orpheus begs him for. But it’s still the murder of his son, and it is his doom.

The Hiketeia is another good fate-and-fury tragedy. You should absolutely go read it now.

A young woman, Danielle Wellys, comes to Diana, and pledges herself, using a sacred ritual - the Hiketeia - which pledges her life to Diana’s service, in return for Diana’s protection and hospitality. But she’s informed by the Furies that they are watching her and her new charge - both are bound by the ancient laws of vengeance. Danielle killed her sister’s murderers, who tricked and abused her into prostitution and who killed her - by the laws of the Kindly Ones, she was obligated to seek vengeance on her sister’s behalf. But Diana is bound by her sacred vow - If she fails to protect Dani, she’ll be subject of the Furies vengeance, for reneging on her oath of protection.

Enter Batman. Dani wrought her vengeance in Gotham, and so Batman is hunting her - he can’t ignore four murders, even of murderers. He tries to fight Diana to get to Dani, which goes poorly for him. Dani explains why she killed them and Diana understands - her mind goes to Donna and Cassie, and what she’d have done in Dani’s place. Batman refuses to wait, to listen and see if together they can find a kinder route to justice - Bruce has his own oaths of vengeance.

After dealing with Batman Diana asks Dani to rest, so they can talk about what to do in the morning. Dani instead flees, and Batman catches her, leading Diana to have to stop him again.

Rather than keep putting Diana in an impossible situation, Dani jumps to her death. She survives long enough to release Diana from her oath, so Diana is free of the Furies physical vengeance - but this is a tragedy, and Diana is still left knowing she was unable to protect Dani.

I love the voice Rucka gives Diana. She’s so often an idealised caricature- here, she feels weighty and burdened. Her instinct to do good - to accept Dani’s plea without asking why - is what puts her in an impossible situation, one which would have destroyed her if Dani hadn’t released her. Diana wasn’t compelled - she chose this, and the concomitant fate that came with it. She could have refused - but she wouldn’t be Diana if she had, and so her choice is no choice at all. The story doesn’t adopt a breakneck pace in case you get bored between panels - the art is allowed to breathe, to carry the pauses and build the tension. You hope and hope that there will be a way out - for Diana to fulfill her vow of protection and her vow of justice. But of course she won’t be allowed that kindness. All tragedies end the same way.

So the world is full of problems and being a naive 12 yo, Dani thinks she can fix those problems.

So she follows the best example.

Red hood

And she becomes a crime boss.

And she’s far better than anyone would think. Discreetly taking over various mafias around the world.

Eventually, the anti ecto acts are put in place worldwide.

So Dani (17) and Jazz (21)move to the only place that has citizens that would willingly lie to the government. Danny is in the ghost zone, attempting to evacuate all ghosts on earth dnd then get to work trying to dismantle the AEA. A process that could take over a year or so.

So Dani moves most of her forces to Gotham.

In my mind, Dani’s mobster name is Fantasma btw and her henchmen/loyal workers are called the Draugur.

But Gotham is cursed and over run with violent ghosts, and because Jazz has collage (transferred from Central Collage) and has to keep a job she can’t handle the ghosts.

So Dani is now moonlighting as the vigilante Wraith.

And Jazz is making her go to school during the day (Gotham academy)

While she’s in Gotham, Fantasma catches the attention of the bats because they’re not going to miss what is obviously a big player with a reputation coming into Gotham.

So they send a bat to go undercover

Damian

Damian is like 17 and has just transitioned out of Robin (you can decide whos Robin in his place) and is now (what we vigilante you what him to be, but I’m using Nocturne in this post)

For his first solo mission, he goes undercover as a henchman in the Draugurs. (He wears a mask so he doesn’t get discovered at a Wayne/bat). The only information the bats have is that Fantasma is around his age.

Unsurprisingly, he’s really good at undercover work.

He (undercover name is Crow) quickly makes his way up the ranks.

And he eventually meets the boss Fantasma and becomes her right hand.

And eventually begins to fall for her.

At the same time, he’s trying to catch the new antihero Wraith, who is a very flirty pain in the butt. He’s also been assigned to be the partner of a new student in his class, Danielle, who is incredibly ditzy and clumsy. But she’s not stupid, Damian knows better than to assume that. Especially when she scores highly than him on their geography test.

Dani x Damian- klutzy, clumsy, and popular student ends up having a rivalry with perfect, cold, and outcast over grades and tests. They hate each other.

Danielle Masters Fenton Phantom;

Dani was born from Vlad Masters failed attempt at cloning Aidan Al Ghul Daniel Fenton due to his initial obsession with the Hero's adoptive Mother, which expanded to include him when he learned that he was a halfa(half human, half ghost) like himself. When it became clear that Danny would never willingly become his son, Vlad tried to clone him. Out of all of his failed attempts Danielle was the only one that came out relatively stable, but even she wasn't entirely so. Parts of her would randomly melt into goo and she would have to wait for her structure to stabilize so she could reform, until eventually she was on the verge of total break down.

That was when she went to Danny, Vlad telling her that they needed Danny's help to be able to stabilize her. Even though that was technically true? Vlad was also hoping to be able to force Danny into a role as his son, Dani's existence had quelled his obsession for a bit- but only until he was faced with a chance to gain Danny as a son again. Eventually Dani realized that Vlad was using her as a means to get to Danny, and so she turned against him and helped Danny who in turn helped to stabilize her using some of the Fenton's equipment.

After that she stayed in Amity for a couple of days before leaving to "explore the world", really she knew that staying in Amity would make it easy for The Fentons to learn Danny's secret and put him in potential danger. Because of that she only visits occasionally and doesn't let any adults know she's there, sticking with the trio and Jazz and sleeping on Sam's couch. Before she initially left to explore the world Jazz pulled her aside to talk to her, she wanted her to know that Danny had a twin brother. She told her that she didn't know how similar they looked because Danny didn't really talk about him, but she wanted her to know just encase so she wouldn't immediately assume Vlad was trying to clone him again if she ran into him.

It was about a month after Danny was told her would be crowned King of the Infinite Realms that Dani showed up in Amity and learned as much, and not long after that she ended up in Gotham. She was drawn to the city because of it having a high ecto plasmic signature, and decided to stick around for a bit because it seemed interesting.

Going with the plot line in my story, she meets Jason Todd and is drawn to him because she can sense his pit exposure. He doesn't set off her ghost sense immediately, but it's almost like when you almost sneeze but it goes away. Eventually when he gets annoyed at her following after him and a bit of the pit rage peaks through it does fully trigger her ghost sense, after she realizes he has died and come back she makes a habit of bothering him when in Gotham and that it how she eventually meets the other Bat's. She will leave for a few days or weeks at a time, but when she comes back she always goes to bother him first. Even if she won't admit it because of her fear of connection and abandonment, she comes to see him as a brother even before knowing Danny's connection to the Wayne family.
