Feel like I'm always arriving late to these, sorry @epylonia for this arriving a couple days late and so many thanks for tagging me! đ„°đ„° đ„° You already know everything I'm working on rn đ€, I'm gonna share a snippet of the 5+1 fic I told you about the other day (Snippet under the cut)
I'm tagging @fabbyf1, @drivestraight @celientjeee & @landoom (if you feel like it of course, no pressure! ^^)
Bahrain. 2017.
The first time Max watches it, it's not out of his own volition. Daniel shoves his phone in Max's face after dinner on a race Sunday with a glint in his eye, urging him to watch some onboard from the Formula 2 sprint.Â
"From P14 to P1 in 8 laps, mate." Daniel says, grinning as he waits for Max to take his phone, expectantly.
"It's just the sprint." Max says, not understanding why Daniel has all of a sudden taken an interest in Formula 2. He didnât even care that much for Max â or Carlos â when they were in Toro Rosso, still doesnât care about either Daniil now or Pierre, and itâs supposed to be their sister team. But here Daniel is, holding his phone out to Max, waiting for him to take it. After a couple more seconds of being on the receiving end of Daniel's encouraging stare, Max relents. "Who is it, anyway?" Max asks as he presses play.
The start is nothing to write home about. Whoever put together the onboard video agrees, because it jumps to lap 14 after the start.
"Prema rookie.â Daniel answers. Max looks up, frowning a bit at Danielâs tone. But then Daniel adds, âJules knew himâ, and that's when it clicks. Max understands. And he knows who heâs talking about. âI think his nameâs Leclair?"Â
"Leclerc." Max corrects him, gaze now focused on the screen as he watches his karting nemesis pit for softs and knows the comeback Daniel gushed about is about to start. It's a compilation, obviously half the turns being cut out â probably for effect and to make it seem even more impressive â, but Max knows even the best editing can't change a narrative if the backdrop of it didn't have the material to make this comeback meteoric. The end result is the same. The overtakes keep coming, and coming, and now Max canât look away. Itâs weird, watching it just from the onboard camera. He doesnât even know how Daniel got access to this footage. Max didnât even know F2 had onboard cameras fitted this year.

Anyways the DC canon full names are so generic its like infuriating to me so here are my alternate full names names with some explanations:
S1:
Jake: Jake Kuroda
Meaning: First of all Iâm keeping his full name as Jake instead of making it short for Jacob because I just donât like the look or sound of the name Jacob. But second of all I chose Kuroda because itâs a Japanese surname that means black field (or black rice paddy). I thought it tied back to his association with death and graveyards in season one (lost his grandparents, lost Miriam and Ellie in apocalypse episode, biggest fear was graveyards, has skulls on his clothes, etc).
Tom: Thomas Velasco
Meaning: Velasco comes from the Spanish surname Vela, meaning watchman. I felt like to both fit his past as a spy and his present as team leader, both in seasons one and three.
Ellie: Elliott Gray
Meaning: Elliott fits her best out of all the Ellie names in my opinion (Elizabeth, Elaine, etc). I do like the surname Parker but think Gray more suitable since it ties back to her design and her morally gray nature.
Gabby: Gabrisya Malinowski
Meaning: I donât hate Nowak as a surname for Gabby but Malinowski is slightly less generic and I think it suits her. It means raspberry and used to describe people who lived near raspberry fields, which both connects to the red in her design and her love for nature. Also I think the inclusion of Mal- in her surname is nice since it hints towards her future status as a villain. Also sheâs sweet like a raspberry :) Blorbo from my show.
Miriam: Miriam Foster
Meaning: I actually really like Foster being Miriamâs surname, itâs less on the nose than something like Baker but still hints at how she fosters her skills and how she sort of fostered Jake and Tom (I miss their friendship so much man).
Alec: Alec Ăelik
Meaning: Once again I actually like Alexâs surname, it means steel which I feel fits him as a strong villain.
Fiore: Fiorella Ricci
Meaning: Third time in a row; Fioreâs surname doesnât really have an applicable meaning here but I just really like how it sounds and looks idk. I did consider Orsini (âlittle bearâ, since sheâs small and fierce), DâAngelo (âof the angelsâ, both since she looks innocent and as a tongue-and-cheek nod to her being a villain; also ties back to her being Catholic), or Abbandonato (uncommon surname meaning âabandoned/forsakenâ, since she loses all her friends/allies by the end of season one and also since itâs kind of implied that her parents donât care much for her), but I feel like Ricci sounds and looks the best, meanings aside.
Lill: Lilliana Park
Meaning: Park is a common Korean surname, which fits with my headcanon for Lill, but I chose it mostly because of the English connotation ofâŠa park. And she spends a lot of time in nature and with her Girl Scouts in presumably city or national parks.
Will: William Greene
Meaning: Green. Like his shirt. Idk, society if Will had better characterization before he was booted.
Nick: Nicholas Gould
Meaning: He is not related to Dakota I donât believe that. Anyways Gould like gold the previous metal, I donât like Nick I donât care if his last name is good society if Nick never existed.
Ashley: Ashley Hayes
Meaning: Graham is also good ig but Hayes like hay is funny to me.
Dan: Daniel Dressler
Meaning: Dressler is a common Ashkenazi surname that means to turn or spin, which I feel fits his habit of turning or changing who he voted with in most eliminations.
Drew: Andrew Leclair
Meaning: Leclair means bright light in French, which I feel fits since he illuminated Tomâs secret to Grett and since he clarifies himself in writing.
S2:
Aiden: Aiden Cadena
Meaning: Cadena is a Spanish-speaking surname that means chain. I picked it because heâs like, an e-boy. You could also get symbolic with it, like his fears chain him back? Idk
James: James Castelo-Domingos
Meaning: Jamesâ Tik Tok handle in season two was JamesCDofficial so I figured his last initials were C & D. Castelo means someone who lives near a castle and Domingos comes from the word for Sunday or the lordâs day, and I figured those both hinted towards his massive online empire and him being the last person in the game in season twoâ the conqueror and the last one at the end.
Lake: Lake MĂŒller
Meaning: This oneâs been canon for years Iâve just accepted it already.
Ally: Allyson Valentine
Meaning: I feel like this is like a perfect online screen name, Allyson Valentine sounds like a real streamer name to me, but I mainly picked it after Jill Valentine. Like the Resident Evil character. Sheâs a gamer bro.
Hunter: Hunter Keyes
Meaning: I had a couple different ideas for Hunterâs surname, I wanted to go with Turing for famous codebreaker Alan Turing or VigenĂ©re for the VigenĂ©re cipher, but I felt like Keyes worked best when referring back to his interests in puzzles and his strategic skills, both because I think it goes better with his first name and because it has more Celtic origins since I headcanon him to be Scottish.
Tess: Teresa Hyun
Meaning: First of all, ONC can rip Korean Tess from my cold dead hands. But second of all I think Hyun works because depending on the hanja used to write it, it can mean dark/mysterious and worthy/virtuous, both of which fit Tess at different points in the series.
Maggy: Margaret OâConnor
Meaning: I honestly picked Maggyâs surname mostly for the sound and look; OâConnor allegedly means something along the lines of âhound of desireâ or âlover or wolvesâ, which idk if you really stretch you could talk about how she desires companionship or how sheâs been a lone wolf her whole life, something like thatâ but I just kind of thought it Worked more than anything. OâConnor is a pretty common Irish surname and I headcanon her to be Irish so that was also a factor in choosing it.
Kai: Kai Setiawan
Meaning: Setiawan is an Indonesian surname which means âloyal friendâ, which I thought suited Kai since heâs loyal both to his friends (Maggy is a good example of this) and his beliefs.
Connor: Connor Boutella
Meaning: Boutella is an Italian surname that means âfather of the hillâ, which I feel suits him as the oldest member of the cast in season two and the leader of the heroes in later season three.
Karol: Karol Aguilar
Meaning: Karol is both a nature lover and a strong, conniving, and assertive antagonist, so I thought Aguilar (âhaunt of eaglesâ) was a fitting surname for her.
Riya: Riya Varma
Meaning: First of all while I know his posts arenât technically canon, I couldâve sworn Riyaâs surname used to be Varma instead of Sharma in an old Ordartz post? So I kind of got attached to that. And second of all Varma just fits her better I think; the V sound is a lot sharper than the Sh sound which I like for her, and also Varma allegedly means âarmorâ while Sharma means something along the lines of âjoyâ or âblissâ, which I think suits her better since Riya is clearly a very armored person whoâs afraid to be authentically kind since itâll destroy her image.
Rosa MarĂa: Rosa MarĂa Amador Ortiz
Meaning: Rosa MarĂa is very loving and kind, and also very willing to stand up for her loved ones, so I figured Amador (âloverâ) and Ortiz (âbrave/strongâ) fit her well.
Oliver: Oliver Bennett
Meaning: First of all idgaf about Oliver enough to find him a new surname but second of all I think Bennett is an ironic surname for him since it supposedly means âblessed oneâ and he was so unlucky in season two like all the time.
Yul: Yul Sunwoo
Meaning: This was another one that I picked mostly for the sound and look of the letters; I couldnât find any reputable websites with a meaning for the name but it seems that every website I did find consistently insisted that Sunwoo had a positive connotation so I think it would be funny if that was Yulâs last name considering that heâs fucking terrible.
If you have any other ideas or notice something I got wrong with the explanations lmk, I just like coming up with character names. Yeah <3

B-10 : Oscar 2024 Predictions - A Film Fan's Perspective
The 96th Academy Awards, a.k.a. The OscarsŸ, are set to happen on March 11 at 4:30 AM IST. The celebrations of the Oscar season are at their full peak. Amid the fun and excitement - and less than 24 hours for the ceremony to start, here's a look at the movie categories and our predictions of the winners. These are predictions based on the trends, previous award ceremonies this year (like Golden Globes, BAFTA, Critics Choice, and SAG), and the winners - along with my perspective. So sit back and stay with me till the end:-
P.S. SPOILER ALERT!!!!
Best Picture
Nominees:Â
American Fiction â Ben LeClair, Nikos Karamigios, Cord Jefferson, and Jermaine Johnson, producers
Anatomy of a Fall â Marie-Ange Luciani and David Thion, producers
Barbie â David Heyman, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Robbie Brenner, producers
The Holdovers â Mark Johnson, producer
Killers of the Flower Moon â Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, Martin Scorsese, and Daniel Lupi, producers
Maestro â Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg, Fred Berner, Amy Durning, and Kristie Macosko Krieger, producers
Oppenheimer â Emma Thomas, Charles Roven, and Christopher Nolan, producers
Past Lives â David Hinojosa, Christine Vachon, and Pamela Koffler, producers
Poor Things â Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Emma Stone, producers
The Zone of Interestâ James Wilson, producer
Prediction:Â OppenheimerÂ
It's highly doubtful that the Academy would not give the highest honor to Nolan's cinematic masterpiece of the year. Not doing so would lead to havoc.
Best Director
Nominees:Â
Justine Triet â Anatomy of a Fall
Martin Scorsese â Killers of the Flower Moon
Christopher Nolan â Oppenheimer
Yorgos Lanthimos â Poor Things
Jonathan Glazer â The Zone of Interest
Prediction:Â Christopher Nolan
Nolan has given the ultimate blockbuster of the year - a period film with intense acting and technical excellence. It's time to make up for the snubs of the past.
Best Actor
Nominees:Â
Bradley Cooper â Maestro as Leonard Bernstein
Colman Domingo â Rustin as Bayard Rustin
Paul Giamatti â The Holdovers as Paul Hunham
Cillian Murphy â Oppenheimer as J. Robert Oppenheimer
Jeffrey Wright â American Fiction as Thelonious "Monk" Ellison
Prediction(s):Â Cillian Murphy
With his wins at the Golden Globe, BAFTA, and the SAG, it's time for the Irishman to get the golden man for his first role as a leading man in a Nolan (after playing supporting or character roles in movies like The Dark Night Trilogy, Inception, and Dunkirk).
Best Actress
Nominees:Â
Annette Bening â Nyad as Diana Nyad
Lily Gladstone â Killers of the Flower Moon as Mollie Burkhart
Sandra HĂŒller â Anatomy of a Fall as Sandra Voyter
Carey Mulligan â Maestro as Felicia Montealegre
Emma Stone â Poor Things as Bella Baxter
Prediction(s):Â Emma Stone/Lily Gladstone/Sandra HĂŒller
The competition for best actress is intense - as Gladstone has showcased her method acting (which might make her the first Native American to win the trophy). Meanwhile, Stone's feminist portrayal of a woman on her purpose to stand for equality and liberation seems Oscar-worthy (with her acting wins this year). HĂŒller, on the other hand, has given a breathtaking performance in the trilingual thriller.
Best Supporting Actor
Nominees:Â
Sterling K. Brown â American Fiction as Clifford "Cliff" Ellison
Robert De Niro â Killers of the Flower Moon as William King Hale
Robert Downey Jr. â Oppenheimer as Lewis Strauss
Ryan Gosling â Barbie as Ken
Mark Ruffalo â Poor Things as Duncan Wedderburn
Prediction(s):Â Robert Downey Jr
RDJ might be memorable for Tony Stark/Iron Man. However, it's his portrayal of Strauss that's going to win this year. With two previous nominations (including one for portraying Charlie Chaplin), RDJ would likely be the first Marvel hero to win the Golden Man. He would also repeat the feat of Actor-Supporting Actor wins for the same film - after 1959's Ben Hur (Charlton Heston - Charles Laughton), 2003's Mystic River (Sean Penn - Tim Robbins), and 2013's Dallas Buyers Club (Matthew McCoughnahey - Jared Leto).
Best Supporting Actress
Nominees:
Emily Blunt â Oppenheimer as Kitty Oppenheimer
Danielle Brooks â The Color Purple as Sofia
America Ferrera â Barbie as Gloria
Jodie Foster â Nyad as Bonnie Stoll
Da'Vine Joy Randolph â The Holdovers as Mary Lamb
Prediction(s):Â Da'Vine Joy Randolph
Randolph's portrayal of a grieving mother stuck in a boarding school during the holiday season involves her comedic timing and emotional depth.
Best Original Screenplay
Nominees:
Anatomy of a Fall â Justine Triet and Arthur Harari
The Holdovers â David Hemingson
Maestro â Bradley Cooper and Josh Singer
May December â Screenplay by Samy Burch; Story by Samy Burch and Alex Mechanik
Past Lives â Celine Song
Prediction(s):Â Anatomy of A Fall/The Holdovers
While the former is this year's Palme d'Or winner and Golden Globe-winning screenplay, the latter is what would become a holiday classic. It's going to be a tough contest between the two films.
Best Adapted Screenplay
Nominees:
American Fiction â Cord Jefferson; based on the novel Erasure by Percival Everett
Barbie â Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach; based on characters created by Ruth Handler
Oppenheimer â Christopher Nolan; based on the biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin
Poor Things â Tony McNamara; based on the novel by Alasdair Gray
The Zone of Interest â Jonathan Glazer; based on the novel by Martin Amis
Prediction(s):Â Oppenheimer/American Fiction
The former might be possible with the guaranteed Best Picture & Director awards - which could make Nolan another director to win writing, directing, and producing Oscars. However, the latter would pose a tough competition - as it has already won the Writers Guild of America (WGA) Award, the Critics Choice Award, and several other precursor accolades. Its poignant exploration of race, family, and the American dream resonates with critics and audiences.
Best Animated Feature
Nominees:
The Boy and the Heron â Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki
Elemental â Peter Sohn and Denise Ream
Nimona â Nick Bruno, Troy Quane, Karen Ryan, and Julie Zackary
Robot Dreams â Pablo Berger, Ibon Cormenzana, Ignasi EstapĂ©, and Sandra Tapia DĂaz
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse â Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal
Prediction(s):Â Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse/The Boy and the Heron
It'll be Marvel's turn to preside over this category - with its innovative animation style, captivating story, and emotional connection. However, the Golden Globe-winning Japanese anime with a timeless tale of loss and resilience is a strong contender for the American animated film.
Best International Feature Film
Nominees:
Io capitano (Italy) â directed by Matteo Garrone
Perfect Days (Japan) â directed by Wim Wenders
Society of the Snow (Spain) â directed by J. A. Bayona
The Teachers' Lounge (Germany) â directed by İlker Ăatak
The Zone of Interest (United Kingdom) â directed by Jonathan Glazer
Prediction(s):Â The Zone of Interest
The Grand Prix-winning tale of a Nazi leader's family living next to Auschwitz is a tale that will send chills down the spine.
Best Documentary Feature Film
Nominees:
Bobi Wine: The People's President â Moses Bwayo, Christopher Sharp, and John Battsek
The Eternal Memory â Maite Alberdi
Four Daughters â Kaouther Ben Hania and Nadim Cheikhrouha
To Kill a Tiger â Nisha Pahuja, Cornelia Principe, and David Oppenheim
20 Days in Mariupol â Mstyslav Chernov, Michelle Mizner, and Raney Aronson-Rath
Prediction(s):Â 20 Days in Mariupol
A tale about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 20 Days in Mariupol has won several documentary awards at multiple film festivals and award ceremonies. If it wins, it would be another film about the dark side of Russia to win the Oscar.
Best Documentary Short Film
Nominees:
The ABCs of Book Banning â Sheila Nevins and Trish Adlesic
The Barber of Little Rock â John Hoffman and Christine Turner
Island in Between â S. Leo Chiang and Jean Tsien
The Last Repair Shop â Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers
NÇi Nai & WĂ i Pó â Sean Wang and Sam Davis
Prediction(s):Â The Last Repair Shop
Showing Los Angeles as one of the few United States cities to offer and fix musical instruments for its public school students at no cost, it might win the Oscar - as it has previously won the Critics Choice Documentary Award for the same category.
Best Live Action Short Film
Nominees:
The After â Misan Harriman and Nicky Bentham
Invincible â Vincent RenĂ©-Lortie and Samuel Caron
Knight of Fortune â Lasse LyskjĂŠr Noer and Christian Norlyk
Red, White and Blue â Nazrin Choudhury and Sara McFarlane
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar â Wes Anderson and Steven Rales
Prediction(s):Â The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar
I guess it's time for Anderson to win his Oscar now - with his colors, symmetry, and star cast.
Best Animated Short Film
Nominees:
Letter to a Pig â Tal Kantor and Amit R. Gicelter
Ninety-Five Senses â Jared and Jerusha Hess
Our Uniform â Yegane Moghaddam
Pachyderme â StĂ©phanie ClĂ©ment and Marc Rius
War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko â Dave Mullins and Brad Booker
Prediction(s):Â War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko
Inspired by and featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono's peace anthem "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," It is a simplistic take on war and humanity - which the Academy might honor.
Best Original Score
Nominees:
American Fiction â Laura Karpman
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny â John Williams
Killers of the Flower Moon â Robbie Robertson â
Oppenheimer â Ludwig Göransson
Poor Things â Jerskin Fendrix
Prediction:Â Oppenheimer
With his 54th nomination (and final because of his retirement), John Williams has entertained with his latest rendition of one of Hollywood's greatest film franchises. However, Goransson's Oppenheimer soundtrack adds tension to the film's plot - particularly with "Can You Hear the Music?" He can easily add an Oscar to his collection of Awards for Oppenheimer.
Best Original Song
Nominees:
"The Fire Inside" from Flamin' Hot â Music and lyrics by Diane Warren
"I'm Just Ken" from Barbie â Music and lyrics by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt
"It Never Went Away" from American Symphony â Music and lyrics by Jon Batiste and Dan Wilson
"Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People)" from Killers of the Flower Moon â Music and lyrics by Scott George
"What Was I Made For?" from Barbie â Music and lyrics by Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell
Prediction:Â What Was I Made For?
It's likely a second win for the Eilish-O'Connell siblings - after No Time to Die.Â
Best Sound
Nominees:
The Creator â Ian Voigt, Erik Aadahl, Ethan Van der Ryn, Tom Ozanich, and Dean Zupancic
Maestro â Steven A. Morrow, Richard King, Jason Ruder, Tom Ozanich, and Dean Zupancic
Mission: Impossible â Dead Reckoning Part One â Chris Munro, James H. Mather, Chris Burdon, and Mark Taylor
Oppenheimer â Willie Burton, Richard King, Gary A. Rizzo, and Kevin O'Connell
The Zone of Interest â Tarn Willers and Johnnie Burn
Prediction:Â Oppenheimer
It's Nolan's year when it comes to technical awards. The sound design and editing show that Nolan has duly followed the laws of physics - and ensured tension in the other scenes.
Best Production Design
Nominees:
Barbie â Production Design: Sarah Greenwood; Set Decoration: Katie Spencer
Killers of the Flower Moon â Production Design: Jack Fisk; Set Decoration: Adam Willis
Napoleon â Production Design: Arthur Max; Set Decoration: Elli Griff
Oppenheimer â Production Design: Ruth De Jong; Set Decoration: Claire Kaufman
Poor Things â Production Design: James Price and Shona Heath; Set Decoration: Zsuzsa Mihalek
Prediction(s):Â Barbie/Poor Things
Fantasy films have eye-grabbing sets and decorations that are attractive to the Academy voters. It can be either of the two women-centric films.
Best Cinematography
Nominees:
El Conde â Edward Lachman
Killers of the Flower Moon â Rodrigo Prieto
Maestro â Matthew Libatique
Oppenheimer â Hoyte van Hoytema
Poor Things â Robbie Ryan
Prediction(s):Â Oppenheimer
Hoytema's camerawork captures expansive desert vistas and painfully intimate close-ups using IMAX film cameras (in color and monochrome). A win for him is confirmed
Best Makeup and Hairstyling
Nominees:
Golda â Karen Hartley Thomas, Suzi Battersby, and Ashra Kelly-Blue
Maestro â Kazu Hiro, Kay Georgiou, and Lori McCoy-Bell
Oppenheimer â Luisa Abel
Poor Things â Nadia Stacey, Mark Coulier, and Josh Weston
Society of the Snow â Ana LĂłpez-Puigcerver, David MartĂ, and Montse RibĂ©
Prediction(s):Â Maestro
Although other movies have dominated the major categories, a Bradly Cooper film can win an Oscar this year - with the magnificent transformation of the lead actor into Leonard Bernstein.Â
Best Costume Designing
Nominees:
Barbie â Jacqueline Durran
Killers of the Flower Moon â Jacqueline West
Napoleon â Janty Yates and Dave Crossman
Oppenheimer â Ellen Mirojnick
Poor Things â Holly Waddington
Prediction(s):Â Barbie/Poor Things
Like many fantasy films, it's a tough pick between the two films in costumes - like the production design category.
Best Film Editing
Nominees:
Anatomy of a Fall â Laurent SĂ©nĂ©chal
The Holdovers â Kevin Tent
Killers of the Flower Moon â Thelma Schoonmaker
Oppenheimer â Jennifer Lame
Poor Things â Yorgos Mavropsaridis
Prediction(s):Â Oppenheimer
It goes with saying for the technical awards and Nolan - with the montages, parallel storytelling, and transitions that accompany the screenplay.
Best Visual Effects
Nominees:
The Creator â Jay Cooper, Ian Comley, Andrew Roberts, and Neil Corbould
Godzilla Minus One â Takashi Yamazaki, Kiyoko Shibuya, Masaki Takahashi, and Tatsuji Nojima
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 â StĂ©phane Ceretti, Alexis Wajsbrot, Guy Williams, and Theo Bialek
Mission: Impossible â Dead Reckoning Part One â Alex Wuttke, Simone Coco, Jeff Sutherland, and Neil Corbould
Napoleon â Charley Henley, Luc-Ewen Martin-Fenouillet, Simone Coco, and Neil Corbould
Prediction: Godzilla Minus One
I'm deeply offended that Oppenheimer didn't get a nomination in this category. However, with the nominees, I'd have to pick Godzilla - with its first-ever nomination in the franchise - and also because it is a visual spectacle besides Oppenheimer this year.
That's all for now. Let's see who wins what this year. See you at the Oscars.

Is Staying home getting to you? These artists want to entertain you!
Many of us are going into our second and third weeks of quarantine, some less, but I think we can all agree we are looking for something new to hold our attention. We want to see people, find out how theyâre doing. We definitely want to dine out with friends, head to our favorite movies, concerts, shows, etc. Some of us are lucky enough to be working from home, but many arenât faring as well.âŠ

lol i think the reason why the FIA gives zero fucks about having the races scheduled according to their region/continent or relative closeness is because:
1. its not like the drivers and/or the crew stay within the country they race in when there are gaps (1-2 weeks break) before going to the next country on the schedule. they alw come back to their home countries (i.e usually monaco, france, uk and switzerland) anyways THEN proceed to the next venue. WHICH BTW isnt economical or environmental friendly lol
2. this might be the reason why theyâre increasing double/triple headers which are SLIGHTLY more economical since theyâll proceed to the next venue right away BUT STILL.. the geographical location difference arenât efficient AND it puts a strain on the crew
3. the fia are dumb fucks
4. money (i.e gaining)
#all speculation so who knows#its all capitalistic opportunism and we know it#this all bad for the environment AND for the crew/staff/drivers#formula 1#f1#f1 calendar 2022#f1 2022#mercedes#max verstappen#daniel ricciardo#lewis hamilton#george russell#toto wolff#lando norris#carlos sainz#valterri bottas#sebastian vettel#charles leclair#pierre gasly#mclaren
