You try to run to the hallways of your university, hoping that you'll eventually get to class on time while cursing under your breath. Why did you stay the night at his place? You should have gone back to the dorm after he came on you once.

“Do you have a girlfriend?” one girl from the back row asked. The professor even scolded her saying that it wasn’t appropriate for the class but Yuta smiled before nodding, earning exclaims from the class. “Of course he has a girlfriend.” another girl exclaimed. 

His gaze fell on you and you gulped. “She’s really adorable. If I can, I want to hug her now.” 

“Wow, he’s so cool!” Your friend exclaimed, making you look at her and smiling timidly. 

You can’t leave class. That will be weird. But you can’t stay in this class and watch Yuta in his suit and tie. It was a deadly combination, something that wouldn’t be able to make you sleep peacefully at night. He talked to the class about the pros and cons of making a small business, about the risks it will take. But you were focused on how he moved around the room.

I’m allowing myself to indulge in a few spoiler gifsets of the last episode of The Eclipse before I watch it tonight, and oooooomgggggg I can’t WAAAAIIIITTTTTTT. CAN’T. WAIT.!.!.!.

To wile away the time before the kids are in bed, I’ll take quick note of a new/old dorama I’ve picked up, another one in the Machida Keita rabbithole:

So I complained a bit during my Three Star Bar review that I think some of Machida’s projects are underutilizing his acting ability (and it looks like there are some serious duds on the list, like a show about him switching identities with his grandmother??), which is unfortunate, because if the gateway to his work, as it was for me, was Cherry Magic, then we were seriously spoiled with a rock solid and wide-ranging performance. I wonder if there’s analysis out there about BL projects being ones that really push actors to move beyond their usual range limits -- I certainly feel that way about Takeda Kouhei in Old Fashion Cupcake now that I’m seeing him in a much more limited role in Banshaku no Ryuugi, and I know he was with our darling Akaso Eiji in a Kamen Rider series. I probably need to watch more BL projects to make that judgement overall, but I’ll just make the assumption for now that BL pushes otherwise pigeonholed actors to dive into material that’s well outside their usual range (with a probable exception being Kinou Nani Tabeta, with Nishijima Hidetoshi and Uchino Seiyou being ridiculously talented in anything they do).

Okay, so anyway, with this dang rabbithole, I’m plodding through Super Rich, and I watched Three Star Bar, and I indulgently (shower scenes) and patiently (fake crying) got through Teppachi!, and these shows are fine, but certainly not showcases for any sort of boundary-pushing creativity. The material is either steady or light, and the acting required is relatively pedestrian. (Although Akaso Eiji does make Super Rich watchable, the plot is just pretty slow and unexciting.)

In other words, if Machida is pigeonholed into a straight-guy-in-a-straight-role situation, you’re just not gonna see much by way of his real ability to act rangefully (allow me this word, ha).

So recently, my Tumblr dash highlighted a post from the “Based off the tags you follow!” algorithm (why the exclamation point, Tumblr?), and it was a very short review of a 2018 NHK show called “Life as a Girl,” which stars Shison Jun as an utterly fabulous transgender woman named Ogawa Miki, and Machida as her former high school classmate, who ends up living with Miki while he gets out of debt. And the review piqued my interest because it basically said, WATCH THIS, and Machida plays a himbo, and well, THAT’S gonna get me curious, because what the hell does that mean?

And this is SUCH. A. GOOD. SHOW. A SERIOUSLY GOOD SHOW. 

I’m only on episode two, and there are only four episodes, which I already know is a damn shame, but sometimes NHK does this thing where they get CRAZY creative for a really short series. And surprisingly, for a show that has a transgender main character, NHK aired this on Friday nights at 10 pm, which is not the usual midnight slot that other Japanese channels give to shows of boundary-pushing material. The episodes are 45 minutes each, allowing the plot and characters to really wind their way through complicated scenarios, like group blind dates and realizations about insecurity.

I’ll do a bigger review once I finish this, but essentially, NHK and the writers of this show do not allow any making fun of Miki, except when certain men ask her if she’s “cut her thing off,” which allows for a touch of a comedic element about gender-based issues that’s then almost immediately batted down by Miki, who loudly retorts about how rude those kinds of comments are. I honestly would have expected NHK to have demanded a more comedic approach to this material, but it is treated utterly seriously and with compassion.

So, Machida, himbo? More than that (although yes, there are himbo elements). First off -- he plays a comedic character, acting essentially as a foil to Miki’s serious commitment to her life decision to live as a woman. In essence, his comedy is rooted in how Miki sees cishet men as generally ridiculous. She has not had any surgery yet, and has been living as a woman for a number of years by the time we meet her.

When Machida’s character, Goto, meets her, he’s in need of a place to stay, and is unsurprisingly surprised to see his formerly male classmate as a woman. He’s a bumbling guy, having gone into debt after an ex-girlfriend dumped him. 

As the comedic foil, Machida is PERFECT -- hilarious, well-timed, goofy, physically engaged. But, he also shows that glimmer of deep compassion, concern, and attention that we saw subsequently in abundance in Cherry Magic, with his Goto paying attention to the fact that Miki is actually suffering from extreme loneliness in contemplating her life as a lesbian who wants to find a partner who is okay with her current state of transition. And in Kobe, where the show is set, that arrangement is complicated to find. 

This has gotten way longer than I expected, so I promise I’ll do a full review once I finish this short series (after The Eclipse and the latest episode of Silent), but once again, Tumblr was right, and I’m glad I went on this side road of the Machida rabbithole to find this show. (And then I’ll get back to Super Rich, gosh darn it, I WILL finish that show.) Life as a Girl makes me LOVE NHK, because while TV Tokyo really owns the boundary-pushing edgy corner of Japanese television (KNT, CM, etc.), NHK invests and muscles it way in at times, and I’m thrilled that NHK supported this material as Japan’s biggest broadcaster. (ALSO: I don’t think I’ve seen Shison Jun in any doramas yet, but holy shit, HIS performance kills. So much more to say about this once I finish the series!)

Being trapped in that  boat with three guys it was a shit, especially when one clearly hated you. It wasn't everyone who had the privilege of being hated by Dean Winchester, especially for no reason. But the truth was, the guy couldn't stand being in the same place as you without making a face.

Being confined in the same boat did not improve the situation at all, but it was the way you had managed to protect Kevin from Crowley while he translated the sign. It wasn't too long ago that you had gotten a break for the boy - which had resulted in great advances in translation, but at the same time in Dean's fury.

Sure, you didn't have much time for fun since the situation was critical, but since you had changed that kiss in the kitchen things had changed between you two. From the moment they forcibly confessed that they had been watching each other for some time, the exchange of glances was no longer so hidden. Whenever you were around, it was certain that someone would catch Kevin looking at you, and you lokking at him. When they could even talk and play the little fingers with their hands together.

But they have not been able to advance since.

Whenever they could be alone — which was very rare — something would happen that would get in their way. It had already been Castiel coming up with news, lunch time, and even a new episode of Kevin's favorite show.

This was one of the differences between the two of you: while Kevin was raving about thriller shows and thrillers, you were in love with romantic doramas - which gave you a slightly different view of Asian guys. And if they once made fun of you for drooling on American shows, it all got worse when they discovered the doramas.

You lived with Kevin, you knew he wasn't that way, but whenever you did something that could be associated with a romantic scene you screamed inwardly. The time he was eating lamen and offering you, every time they could kiss but he would rather just be together - okay, that part irritated you deeply - or even when he cursed Dean on his language.

Kevin seemed to notice his cracking and used it to distract himself in his spare time. He loved to play with your emotions, always tempting you to the extreme and then being hugged. Often this resulted in a desperate kiss from you or an overpowering kiss when it caught you off guard. He had even confessed that if you were not in that perilously dangerous situation he would call you to a typical bedtime encounter.

But, unfortunately, all they could be content with was splitting lamen while watching some drama in their room. Being a small boat, her room was separate from the boys, having the luxury of being private.

On the rare nights they had time to watch any soap operas or shows together, Kevin preferred it to be in his room. Not for ulterior motives, but knowing that it would not be disturbed there. You and your room had become your outlet for the world - and maybe that was a good thing.

That night they watched a fantasy novel in which a supernatural being desperately tried to kill the guardian of great power, but had been condemned to love her, being arrested by a bracelet, as a way to prevent him from eating her. Until the drama was very engaging, special effects well done and best of all: it distracted Kevin from the damn stone. Although it involved demons, none of them even remembered Crowley's constant threat.

"Do you think he can keep her in the end?" You asked casually, playing with a loose thread of the quilt.

-Doramas are full of twists, but I don't think that will happen in that one. They are from the first episode telling what will happen, but we hope the opposite.

“Do you think this will happen to us too?”

“What?”  Kevin was staring at you in confusion.

“From the beginning Crowley says we won't make it, Sam and Dean also make that very clear. We need to hide here so Crowley wouldn't kill you. Do you really think we'll be able to reverse this in the end? Or are we just being late?”

“I…. I have no idea, Y / n. But I'm making progress with the board, thanks to you. So I prefer to think that we do have chances.”

You went back to watching the show, but the tense mood had set in. Kevin sensed his unease and it was bothering him. As much as you said nothing, he knew that their bid could evolve into something more serious. He was starting to like you himself, and he didn't want you to worry.

With a quick movement, Kevin laid his body on the bed, half his body on top of yours. You had been caught off guard at his mercy. He knew how you enjoyed those moments, so he just smiled, getting his smile back as he approached and held his face. When their lips touched, everything went very calmly. They wanted to enjoy as much time as possible, just feeling each other's mouths. Your lips played with each other, opening and closing, and when you tilted your head a little to the side, Kevin forced his tongue against your mouth, having your hair immediately held.

You kissed more intensely, conveying all the calm you could enjoy in that short time. Their hands played with each other's body until Kevin's ended up at the hem of his shirt.

O-ou. That was a step further.

You rippled your body in response to his silent request, which promptly pulled ypu carefully away, delighted by the sight of your bra-covered breasts. He took off his flannel shirt before he lay back on you, kissing your neck hard.

In return, he received scratches on his back and arm, only getting up when you took off his shirt. It was not a defined breastplate, but it was pleasing to his eyes - given the pattern of doramas.

Things were going a way that if they got a bucket of cold water, they would be pretty annoyed. The drama was forgotten, the door closed, you were almost totally entering your private bubble when the door was opened, revealing a Dean in a calm voice.

“Y / n, would you have a time to talk ... “ When he noticed the two of you together, shirtless and kissing slowly saw that he was left in that boat, being taken by a fury -”You should not be translating the plate, KEVIN ?!”

The boy immediately jumped in fright, getting off you and inadvertently biting your tongue. Embarrassed, you tugged on the flannel shirt that was nearby, covering your body.

“It's my break time, Dean!” Kevin was annoyed by the interruption.

-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! - You shouted at the interruption

“What's he doing here, Y / N ?!” Dean was angry, red-faced and breathing fast.

“It's my room, DEAN! And I bring whoever I want here!”

That was like a slap to the older man's face. Dean blinked his eyes desperately, his arm drawing back toward his face, while his expression lines softened into traces of sadness, returning almost instantly to anger.

“Whatever. You both deserve each other.” Coming out with a bang on the door.

You and Kevin were alone again in the room with a flannel shirt away.

“I can’t believe that….” He whispered, staring at the door.

-What? That he is an idiot?

“That he likes you.”

“What?! I think this sign has been messing with your head." You were rehearsing to get out of bed when you felt Kevin's hand on your arm, pulling you back.

“No, really! I always heard that love and hate were intertwined, but I never cared about it. He always hated you without explanation, didn't he?”

“Yes.”

"That must have turned into something else."

“And how do you know that?”

“I…. Well…. I have already watched a drama that had this premise. The guy hated a girl, but over time fell in love, but did not show to her.”

-And what happened in the end?

-They got together, but ... Why this disgusted face?

"You're not going to convince me to drop you and chase after that brute, Kevin!"

-And I didn't even want that, calm down! But now we know the reason for our next disturbances.

-I…. I think you better get it over with plate.

“Me too.” Kevin looked heartbroken. If he had not opened his mouth, he would not have planted the idea in your mind. Even if you weren't going to be with Dean, it had been enough that you didn't want to see him badly because of a romance.

He knew Dean would take his anger out on him, and he didn't want him to suffer for it. You had thought drifting away had been the best solution, but you were badly wrong.

With the end of his distraction, it wasn't long before Kevin began to hallucinate and disappear along with his notes, leaving you with a gigantic sense of guilt.

Final 31 [2018 Edition] Day 27: Things to Watch in 2019

Here’s a list of doramas and movies I would love to get through within the next year!

DORAMA

1. Welcome to Waikiki - this was goddamn everywhere this year and I really want to see it and find out what the hell it’s all about and whether it’s worth the hype xD

2. Tamiou - This one has been on my radar since before it started airing and it keeps starring at me in the face and I think it’s about god damn time I watched this show!

3. Ossan’s Love - Another that I was interested in BEFORE it aired and I know how much hype and love this show has, yet I have still not watched it! What is wrong with me?! This next year for SURE!

4. Yokoso Wagaya e - My friend brought this one to my attention very recently. She said ‘I know what kind of shows you like, and this one is right up your alley!’ because apparently this one is like ‘looks like a happy family but behind closed doors it’s actually fucked up’ which really is my kind of thing So I hope she’s right, because now I’m interested enough to want to see it! It’s apparently similar to ‘Kazoku Game’ which I LOVED!

5. Ryuusei Wagon - I have been meaning to watch this show for literally years! It has two of my all time favourite actors in it (Nishijima Hidetoshi and Kagawa Teruyuki) who always work together! How have I not seen this yet?! Ugh...

1. Train to Busan - How have I not watched this yet?! Just how?! and I cannot believe it got taken of Netflix about 2 months ago -- why?! I wanna see it!!

2. 22 Nenme No Kokuhaku - I’m a broken record at this point seriously but: I wanted to watch it even before it was released ---> I still haven’t seen it ---> yes I know it’s amazing ---> no idea why I still haven’t watch it ---> must get watched ASAP this year!

3. Teiichi no Kuni - I absolutely love the musicals, I absolutely love the manga artist, I love the guy’s other work (Hikari Litchee Club is my JAM); I just have no reason nor excuse why I haven’t seen this yet!

4. Utsukushii Hoshi - It’s Kame! How have I not seen this yet?! He is my boy! My oshi! I have to see this ASAP! SERIOUSLY!

5. Welcome to Dongmakgol - I really thought I had already watched this one but according to MDL, I have not! How have I not seen this already?! This is a cult Korean classic! Everyone’s seen this movie! Everyone knows this movie! Hell, even I know about it! But how did I not see it?! Wtf...

K: Me and Ihaya-kun knew plenty about SFX makeup...

A: And I wrote an eerie score for the movie they'd created...

A: The script had been written by Nishiki, and the designs and costumes, like that of the monster, were done by Dekuri, right?

M: He was busy with the manga, so we all helped him with it...

K: Well, the only one who actually helped was Agata-kun...

S: But the credits for the graduation project that ended up inspiring 'Crimson Shura-Tengu'...

S: It doesn't mention 'Dekuri', right?

S: Why's that?

H: What? Why're ya silent?

A: Actually, Nishiki was worried about his script...

M: And found the manga Dekuri drew as a doujinshi...

K: A really wonderful and fantastic story...

Se: And that was 'Crimson Shura-Tengu'?

K: Yes... Dekuri-kun refused, saying that he'd publish it once he'll become a professional mangaka, and to please not use it... But we had no time before the deadline...

A: So we filmed his story, thinking that we'd be able to convince him once he sees the finished project...

M: And if we had put his name in the credits, it would've become his project...

K: But when he watched the film we'd made for that art project in the club room...

D: This is not my work! Traitors! Don't put my name on this!!

K: ...he got angry and left the club room... That's why only 5 of us got the spotlight...

H: Bet he hated yer guts!!

M: Ah, but... The day 'Crimson Shura-Tengu' was announced... that night... Dekuri called me!!

D: I gave up being a mangaka and work in a small designer office...

D: So if you're going to remake that story, can you please put my name somewhere in the corner?

K: Dekuri-kun... always dreamed to see the screen version of his manga...

Ay: So? What about putting his name in the credits?

M: We were going to, but because of a minor blunder...

A: He fell into despair after not seeing his name at the first screening and commited suicide...

M: We'd actually wanted to cancel the premier... but the sponsors wouldn't let us...

M: And that's when Happa-chan finally left Heiji-kun to me!!

Yuk: Ah, Kyoko-chan! We co-starred in that dorama, yes!

Yuk: But the lead role was mine~

S: Kyoko-chan? Not 'Keiko'?

Yuk: Her real name is Kyoko! Some stuff happened back when she was a university student, so she put 日 on top of Kyoto's 京 and created her pseudonym, '景子’!

S: Heeh...

Yuk: Speaking of names... Nishiki-san and Mayama-san... also changed their names during that graduation art project...

Yuk: Nishiki-san's 'Taroubou' had some origin... 

S: Right, the first great tengu of Japan was called 'Taroubou'...

Yuk: Oh yeah, Kyoko-san had someone she loved during her university days... She never ended up marrying because she still has feelings for that person...

S: Hm? An email from Sonoko...

Se: Nishiki-san tried to reserve a smoking room in this hotel, but he was initially rebuffed because all of its rooms were occupied... yet during that call, someone cancelled, and he managed to snap one up...

Se: Isn't that strange?

S: Y-yeah...

S: Right...

[As you said...]

H: It was cancelled in the middle of Nishiki-sama's call... And he managed to reserve it for two nights, starting yesterday...

Ay: I see...

Ay: By the way, Agata-san's room was a smokin' one too...

H: Did ya manage to reserve one right away?

A: Yeah... Another one was cancelled out right after Nishiki...

A: We gathered at Nishiki's apartment and booked rooms together... Right?

K: Yes...

Ay: Is that so?

H: Ah, yes...

H: Right after Nishiki-sama booked  that room, there was another cancellation, so Agata-sama booked it.... even though it was a group of visitors...

Se: Speaking of Agata-san's room, a huge tengu appeared in there...

Se: Other than that, was there anything strange about that room?

Ay: Yes... At the scorched ceiling there was somethin' glue-like... but I don't think it was quite enough to allow for anythin' really big to be held up...

Ay: Imprints on the carpet from when Agata-san fell down with his chair...

Ay: And the cigarettes that fell off the ashtray Agata-san threw at the tengu...

Ay: Had left burn marks on the carpet, about 3 cm... 

Ay: And there was an extra pillow in the middle of the bed...

A: T-that's kind of a habit... My legs get cramped if I don't place a pillow under my knees...

S: Hm? What? Something was off just now...

S: Glue stuck on the ceiling...

S: Okita...

S: Traces of a fallen chair...

S: Okita...

S: Cigarette burn marks...

S: Ran...

S: The pillow in the middle of the bed...

S: Okita...

S: Argh, damn it! I can't get the picture of those two out of my head, let alone concentrate on the deduction...

S: It's just too much for me to handle right now...

S: Eh?

S: 'Too much'?

S: Damn... it's started!! And earlier than yesterday!!

H: O-oi, Kudo!

H: Ya OK?

S: Y-yeah.. I've figured out who the criminal is...

Se: Eh?

S: B-but I s-still lack the evidence necessary... to catch them...

S: C-can I please request the assistance of the Kyoto prefectural police?

A: Yes... If there's anythin' we can do, please let me know...

S: T-that's...

S: It probably looks a little silly, but...

2017.05.16 Dansui Stage Review!

I went to see this a few weeks ago and I was pretty excited to see it because of the dorama; it was a decent dorama and I enjoyed all the characters. Also who doesn’t want to drool at about 20 almost naked men for 2 hours?

NON-SPOILER REVIEW:

Overall: This was a huge disappointment. The stage is essentially the entire dorama put into one two-hour segment with the last 15 minutes or so barely continuing from where the dorama finale ended. I went into the stage expecting it to be a continuation of the story, but I was completely wrong. It got about 20minutes into the stage when I realised ‘his isn’t just a big flashback opening, they’re actually doing ALL the scenes from the dorama again!’ and so once I realised that.... I was very bored. And disappointed. The saving grace of this stage is that we get more scenes from the competitor team (Ryuuhou) so more character development for them and the other saving grace were the comedy scenes because they were hilarious. For the best viewing experience either watch the drama or watch the stage but don’t watch both. Especially when one was free to watch and one cost me 8000yen -__- Rating: 4/10. Excluding my personal feeling and rating purely on the stage itself then I’d give it a 7/10.

Now onto the spoiler section! I’ll try and stay as positive as possible.

SPOILER REVIEW:

Okay quickie negatives out the way first! As already stated in my overall review, I was disappointed in this stage. If you’ve seen the dorama then don’t bother with the stage. Same with if you’ve seen the stage then don’t bother with the dorama. It’s the EXACT same. I was bored for most of it because I’d already scene the dorama. I went in with the expectation of ‘yeah the dorama ended on a cliff hanger and we’re going to get this amazing 2 hour ending and we might even reach nationals at the end!’ but no. Nadda. Nothing. Just one BIG 2 hour recap of the dorama on stage -__- It’s just a rerun of the dorama with some extra scenes and so continuation right at the very end. Seriously only the last 15-20minutes go PAST the dorama so I was annoyed and by that point I was so bored I didn’t really pay attention as to whether it continued or not. Isn’t that what the stage was supposed to be? Seeing the swimming results and doing kantou finals or national finals? Was I the only one assuming this? I don’t understand (other than it being a money maker and giving the other school a bit more ‘screen’/stage time and development) why they chose to just redo the entire dorama on stage... we all watched the stage for free on television, I don’t want to pay another 8000yen a ticket to resee that when I was under the assumption I was paying for a decent finale and resolution and possible nationals beginning! -__- I’m pissed, safe to say. AND they ‘reacted’ the flashback scene from when Shuhei, Daiki and Reo were in Middle school SO many times... with the stage and dorama flashbacks of this combined, I'm SO bored and over it. Lastly: I’ll tell you a surprise disappointment I had: Hirose! I was freaking in LOVE with his character in the dorama but for some reason in this stage A. his stage time was ridiculously small, like ten minutes(!!!) and B. he was super super pissy and moody in the stage version. I hated him in the stage! Where’s my sexy, mysterious, logically-mean but supportive Ryouya at?!

MOVING ON TO THE POSITIVE!

I had a really good seat though! I was SMACK in the middle so I had center view which was perfect!

I enjoyed Anzai’s character Reo a lot more in the stage compared to the dorama. I feel we got to see more from his side and he seemed a lot softer in the stage version.

Of course Tomorun as Harumi was freaking adorable! I love how he’s in love with Shuhei and how protective he is when people like RenRen go towards Shuhei, and he tries to pull Shuhei and Daiki away from them xD I also liked the little extra scene we got of him being bullied and called girly and how he’s happy he could be the manager. Tomorun’s Harumi is probably my second favourite character has was always my second/third favourite the entire series/drama/stage.

Kamimura Kaisei is the one guy who caught my eye even in the dorama! He’s a cute character and the stage time he got too made me happy xD I’ve been told he’s completely different in real life though,like a little devil I believe I heard xD

I liked the three ensemble kids they cast to be the young versions of Shuhei, Daiki and Reo and I liked that during the flashback scenes they’d have all six of them onstage and like mirroring each others actions. It was cool.

Also ensemble did an amazing job in general. A lot of stunts for they had to do and during the swimming scenes they might use fabric land creative waves with them and there was also a lot of dancing from them which for the most part was really good. HOWEVER I did spot ONE ensemble cast guy who wasn’t putting as much energy into the dances and you could (if you’e good at spotting these kinds of things) see the lack of energy and powering his dancing compared to the other ensemble around him. It was personally distracting and annoying for me and I just wanted to yell ‘why you not matching your crew?! You must put the same height, the same power, the same exaggeration into your moments!’ I’m not even a dancer yet I really noticed the difference in his performance.

Speaking of stunts the main cast to did a great job with the stunts they had like jumping off boards.

Now to the COMEDY! They had a lot of comedy scenes which were very good. This seriously was the savior of the entire stage for me:

Some comedy scenes were like the re-occurrence of Kaminaga/Daniel constantly getting hit with slippers and hands and stuff especially from Harumi and Ichitora/IkeP. I giggled a lot every time. Sometimes it sounded like he was honestly going to have bruises around his head by the end.

I loved whenever Daniel and Ichitora met. Especially the first time because it’s when Ichitora overhears Daniel claiming he’s good with girls and Ichitora just goes all tiger mood (as his name does mean ‘First Tiger’ xD) on him and growling. Daniel is quietly talking to the guys from Ryuhou while Ichitora is growling, and walking off /on stage about 10 times before Daniel notices him and Ichitora tries to be normal again. I’m not doing the scene justice but it was VERY funny. Especially because on the other side of the stage Shuhei and co. are having a serious discussion and they’re suppose to be the center of that scene but I was way too busy looking at the hilarity in the background between Daniel and Ichitora xD Quite a few of us were laughing hard and over the boys serious talk xD 

Also Ichitora had a habit of not getting Daniel’s name quite right. Every time, whatever name he would yell out that was suppose to be Daniel was hilarious.

The day I went, I think IkeP got thrown off his chair. Looking at the Dress Rehearsal videos he is supposed to get knocked over and out of his chair, BUT the show I saw, he kind of went across the stage a little and RenRen paused before apologising. Ike just looked at him and laughed at himself. Also after he got up he started rubbing him arm and leg. So maybe they over did it by accident that show.

I enjoyed the fall over scenes they had. One scene is where the Ryuuhou team fell over in like disbelief and Ichitora fell onto Homare and then because they were going up stairs when this happened, one of the guys failed falling onto the steps and ended up going off the stairs and onto the main stage. Everyone was laughing. Don’t worry, the steps were on like 4 or 5 steps high xD

ALSO! After some of the races at the end, Ichitora confessed his love to Mario/Homare at the end!! He was like ‘I love you!’ and Homare is like ‘I don’t love you!’ Homare rejecting him was purely funny! I didn’t even cotton on that chitora liked Homare or was somewhat gay... BUT now I’m on board with him being in love with Homare! *dead*

Also Ike (can you tell I love Ike? Yeah I’m talking about him a lot because I’m Ike bias and the reason why I watched the drama anyway!) during one of the training scenes, the first years fell behind so he told them to do some impersonations. It was the first years on stage while the rest of Ryuuhou were against the wall of the left side door exit. Ike and Mario were literally on the floor laughing. All the Ryuuhou actors were honestly cracking up so hard. Ike was the worst out of them all and he was like ‘nah carry on, keep going’ and Mario is like ‘we HAVE to move on!’ xD I hope on the DVD there’s somewhat a higwari section because that was definitely it.

Oooooo another loveboat/ship I can get onto it RenRen and Ryo aka Mitsuki x Shuhei! Not joking you, Renen grabs and holds Ryo’s hand on at least 3 different occasions! His character is definitely in love with Ryo, just like Tomorun’s character xD

Onto a more shallow topic: I changed my mind on who’s body I like the most! When I first saw all the press pics I decided that Mario had the best body in my opinion. I’m a girl who doesn’t like visible muscles so people like RenRen and Ryo and Shuuto who have visible stomach muscles and such, I don’t like it (I like them! But not so much their bodies xD). I am very much a ‘are they slim? do they have muscles but not obvious ones? Kool that’s my boy!’ and that’s why originally I went in with ‘yes Mario’s body!’ feel. BUT coming out...Before I say who lets just appreciate ALL their bodies okay? xD

So the one who caught my eye was:

I am ALL over Anzai’s body! He’s got that stomach where it curves out at the bottom and I like to call that section ‘pudge’ and I freaking LOOOOVE pudge (MakiChan has it too) and it was so cute! I just wanted to grab that tiny little bit of pudge. I think it’s adorable. So Anzai wins the Best Body Award in Dansui for me! Yes I am creepy and weird and need counselling... ANYWAY!

I was thnking of doing a ranking for the Dansui boys but after like IkeP Tomorun, Ryouya, Daniel, Anzai, then I get stuck xD

I think that’s me done for the review. It’s a strange one.
