This is a redraw from January 6 2023, in honour of it being 1 YEAR since I posted the last chapter of The Father(s) and Son(s)!!!!! A little bit over a year actually because it was April 10th and it took me a little while to draw this lol

So much has changed in the span of a year omg. And for THE BETTER?? Like I’m going to school, I made and lost friends, I’m slowly but surely getting over some social anxiety (still a wip tho!!! 😭😭) and I’ve found so many cool mutuals and artists and just!!!! AAA!! Not to mention my art skills have improved a whole HELL of a lot!! LMAO

I don’t write as much as I did when I wrote my fic initially, and I feel bad for that sometimes, but it’s just a testament to how things have gotten a lot better for me and it’s not bad that I’m busy. I’m still trying to cobble together some more writing to eventually get another fic out, cuz I do genuinely miss it, but we’ll get there when we get there!

DAMIEN: What happened was: I do the “Slop!” uh, line, and I say, uh, “You wanna tell my why that’s all you ever cook?” And she says, “Well that’s all we can afford,” um… And I backhand her.

DAMIEN: Then I grab a bottle of rum off the counter, take a swig out of it, and I say something to Mateo, who plays young Ed, and I say—I’ve got a couple lines, few lines, three lines to him. One of them is, uh, “You want some dinner, boy?” and I like, thrust the bottle of rum at him, uh, which I thought is quite—quite a good line, ‘cuz it’s like, “You want some dinner, I’m teaching you how to be an adult by giving you rum at the age of twelve or whatever.”

DAMIEN: And then I made some comment about—about st—about stories, y’know, “You don’t want to listen to stories, you wanna get out there into the real world” sort of thing.

DAMIEN: And then I say, “I’ve got to get out of here,” and I storm out. So they cut that middle bit out, uh, so they just got the back end-
