no because while watching Maxton Hall, I kept thinking about Damian Hardung as either an adult Aegon III or Viserys II like idk and idc which one but he is their son.

Yes, my first official post here after the short intro will be about a book series (it's also a TV show now). It is literally my current obsession. I think about it every day and seriously my heart aches (not kidding, I feel heartbroken after finishing the third book, even though it had a happy end…).
Just to clarify, I'm not German, and the books weren't available in English when I wanted to read them (sadly, they haven't been translated yet 😕). It would have been cool if I could read them in German though, but unfortunately, my German skills aren't that great (but for James Beaufort/Damian Hardung I promise I will try to improve, haha 😂). Thank heaven, the books were translated into my mother tongue (haha, I love this phrase 😆), so I was able to dive into them right after binge-watching the series overnight.
I have to admit that it probably wasn't my greatest idea to binge-watch a TV show and read three books over like… ten days in total maybe? Especially considering that I'm in the middle of my Uni finals (not the best timing to develop a new obsession, tbh). But here we are… me with a new platonic crush on a fictional character, with three verbal exams left. Was it worth it? Definitely. Even though my heart aches as hell, I'm happily watching edits of James on TikTok until like 3 am. Yeah, my sleeping schedule sucks, haha.
I might write separate posts about each book because I can't stop thinking about them… I've already posted my reviews on goodreads, even though it's more like an emotional word-vomit, haha. I can't think of a book that made me cry as much as this series did (especially the third book…)
