' “Ouch..” Tango groans, not so much in pain, but just out of reaction.

“Oh goodness.. Just a cut..” Jimmy breathes in relief.

“It’s okay, I’ll go grab a bandage and get back to- Hey-!” Tango says, words getting caught up as his wrist is grabbed.

Jimmy raises the injured finger to his mouth, and lightly places it between his lips.

As he does, Tango’s pupils visibly blow wide, consuming most of the space in his eyes. Jim gently sucks some of the blood away, that iron taste attacking his taste buds for just a second before he releases Tango’s wrist and lets the wounded extremity fall from his mouth.

The moment is quick, but Tango seems to lag in processing. He’s silent, mouth hanging open in utter shock.

Jimmy’s tongue swipes across his bottom lip, wiping away just a speck of blood that stuck around. He wonders how sick it is for him to be so entertained by the whole thing.

“What the..” Tango starts to say, voice crackling. If he wasn’t overwhelmed a moment ago, he definitely was now.

“Just to stop the bleeding for a second. I’ll go get a bandage for you,” Jimmy says with a genuine smile, but a slight, playful chuckle.'

yeah, so i'm like. sooo sorry it took me a while to answer this. my goal for today is to try and get at least the commentary asks answered. :> so thank you for your patience! anyway. HOOOO BOY YEAH, I REMEMBER WRITING THIS SCENE. 'Jimmy’s tongue swipes across his bottom lip, wiping away just a speck of blood that stuck around. He wonders how sick it is for him to be so entertained by the whole thing.' do you know how fun it was to write that last line. do you understand how unwell i was- how unwell i STILL AM about it? i distinctly remember acknowledging the prompt had "cuts" in it, being very confused for the majority of writing it as to how jimmy would react, and then i said. what if he just. was a little weird about it. and what if tango was into it?

like, i think a big instinct is to stick wounds in our mouth when we get them. especially small ones. (at least in my experience, maybe I'm the freak). i just thought it'd be funny if that was jimmy's first reaction, and it was so WILD in comparison to just.. soothing and getting a band-aid or panicking right away. like obviously he still panicked in the little part preceding this moment. which is another favorite moment of mine but i won't get into it- and it's just that i really wanted jimmy to know damn well what he was doing here. like. and tango knows it too. the transition from this to tango just GRABBING him and kissing him means the world to me. it's funny it's silly it is, as you've said, delicious. mwah, chef's kiss, no notes. <- literally wrote it. i just think i deserve to write more fun, silly scenes like this. i wish i had more to say about it other than this nonsense, brain rotted commentary but akdfsj it is pretty self-explanatory, in all honesty. thank you for the ask, and thanks again for being so patient!

The Warners' Surprisingly Fitting Concerns

You know, I never gave it much thought (outside of this dumb joke) but each Warner's verse in "We Could Try to Do It, Santa" fits their personality pretty well and is about the thing they'd naturally be the most concerned about in that situation.

Yakko's Verse:

At first his verse is about how they can't deliver the presents without Santa's magic and how they'd have to upgrade Santa's sleigh so it can fly fast enough to travel the world in one night, but then it's revealed his true major concern is how that would result in the reindeer getting hurt:

"Prancer and the others might burn up if we're that fast"

"And a sonic boom would work its way through Dasher, Donner, Dancer,

Soon engulfing Cupid, Comet; Santa, this can't be the answer!

See the last thing that we'd wanna do is make the reindeer yelp!"

As a protective older sibling, naturally Yakko would assume Santa of all people would want to protect the reindeer given that they are under his care, like how Yakko tries to protect his sibs. I think the switch up in the verse's focus also reflects how although Yakko's snarky yet jovial nature means he's not quick to be emotionally open and often hides or undercuts his sincerity with snark or humour; he still clearly deeply cares for his sibs and that will eventually show.

Wakko's Verse:

Well Wakko's verse is unsurprisingly about food, but I also wanna point out how it easily has the most extreme consequences of the three, given that the whole of Earth shatters.

This reflects how Wakko tends to go to extremes the most out of the Warners. Need to do a gag about having eyes at the back your head? Wakko will have nine rather than just two. The Warners are bouncing on springs during an earthquake? Wakko's bouncing on a spring upside down, etc.

The little guy loves being extra.

Dot's Verse:

Dot suggests spying on people in her verse. Dot specifically would be the Warner to sing about this when you remember her whole schtick is acting cute and innocent, but being way tougher, craftier and more violent than she appears.

She more than anyone would know that there's often more to people than meets the eye, and hence would be the one to point out the need for wiretaps, logs of web searches, etc. until they had a "constant feed of every single child on Earth" if they wanted to know what the each child in the world was truly like.

Which characters in your opinion could have graduated from college from Duckverse and Looneyverse?

Some of these are headcanons, some of these are based on canon. Also, I drew the 2017 versions of the Disney ducks, but honestly these could be applied to comics, too.

Daffy: Went to college. Wasn't very popular, but did well in classes. Bugs: Went to college, took a while to get things, but eventually did very well. (Honors? Valedictorian? I forgot which one applies to colleges) Porky: Went o college. Did better on written exams, but got the hang of other parts. (Honor? Valedictorian?) Melissa: Went to college, worked a few jobs to help cover the costs. Tina: Didn't go to college, couldn't afford it. Learned a lot from experience.

Donald: Couldn't afford college, and was too busy with life. (I think he did attend college in 2017?) Daisy: Worked her way through fashion school. Will be paying student loans for decades. Della: Charged through every schooling she needed to do what she does, (but mostly learned through experience). Fethry: Hasn't done formal college, but has read a ton of books and done many training courses. Gladstone: Hahahahahaha! (Took a few gardening courses and secretly practices ukelele.)

I don't know if this is exactly what you were looking for, but I have a ton of headcanons about Looney Tunes in college for a Twisted Wonderland AU I planned a bit a few years ago.
