Not all #mothers on #mothersday got to be with their children 😢 21 million calves per year murdered 97% of Dairy calves removed from mother in 24 hours or less. On so called “humane” dairy farms they are stolen within an hour or less after birth as this is supposedly less stressful on the mothers. The mothers are forcibly impregnated year after year to keep the milk flowing. (Give info to audience that like all mammals cows lactate because they have given birth or gotten pregnant). All male calves are considered “surplus” and either go on to become “veal” living lives of confinement, isolation and malnutrition while being leashed by the neck to immobilize them to keep their muscles soft.
