Me: I like this character because while they've done terrible things, I think they're very interesting and it's fascinating/empathetic to get into the trauma/reasoning behind how they ended up— Them: OMG how can you LIKE them??? They're literally disgusting fucking freaks??? You guys will simp for ANYONE if they so much as sniffle Me: Actually, they've done nothing wrong ever. And also the things they did do wrong? Does anyone else get the impression that the whole point of Episode Ardyn was to reveal that the real villain of ffxv was Bahamut all along or is it just me

Why is everyone in Ardyn hell so nice??? We're all heads over heels for the creepiest Bastard I've ever seen in a game. And yet literally the chillest Fandom space I've had the pleasure to walk in. Like lots of adult content over here but there is absolutely no disrespect towards anyone ever over here. Such a breath of fresh air. This is the first Fandom I've joined in on the adult side. I've been so pleasantly surprised. I absolutely LOVE all you guys with my whole heart! Everyone I've interacted with is a sweetheart!

WTF is a consistent sleep schedule?? I keep waking up around 2-4 AM, chatting some people up, looking at art, reading fanfic and having a cup of tea for a few hours before going back to sleep and still getting up early. Funny thing is. Up until the point I had gotten sick I was doing fine with even less sleep. I'm better now and I'm like sleep??? Who's he??

Anyways I'm making RoseHip Hibiscus Cherry tea. I've been drinking this one sparingly cause it's my favorite and was a gift from my very best friend upon moving out. I haven't seen it at any of the stores I shop at, she got it at a store that carries more tea Flavors.

So it was like 11 PM when my brain decided to remind me that according to what little we have on canon timeline:

Ardyn was broken out of Angelgard in late March/early April of 721 ME, and

Iedolas has his son at the end of the same year.

Brain: I bet we could make an AU out of it

Me: no.

Brain: could totally connect those dots

Me: don't.

Brain: Iedolas was totally willing to make Ardyn his High Chancellor despite knowing him for all of five minutes and the guy being a Scourge-infested menace.

Me: not. the. point.

Brain: you won't convince me the Aldercapts never tried to add some magic to their dynasty. if Ardyn was in any way capable of getting pregnant, Iedolas would definitely offer the spot as a royal mistress.

Me: . . .

Brain: with bonus points, because Ardyn has a claim to the Lucian Throne. which is arguably more legit than the one of Mors and Regis.

Me: I hate you.

So, anyway, it would require a female, a transmale or an omega Ardyn, but is definitely doable.
