You don't have to let people get the best of you but you do need to set boundaries with people and know when to say "enough is enough". You are too nice to others and being cool, calm, and collected is not going to fix your problems. I see you are going to feel so relieved after you do this and a weight will be lifted off of your shoulders once you finally confront these issues. I also see that your feelings of loneliness and not being able to "fit" in or make connections with people will not concern you anymore. Your confidence is going to transform tremendously and I honestly am loving this for you, pile 3! I see that you could get the promotion you should have had a long time ago, get the grade you wanted in class, etc. Regardless of what it is, your hard work is going to be acknowledged and rewarded. I also believe you will find some sort of remedy in your relationships and people will start to really cherish you and will treat you with the respect you deserve. Some of you could go to counseling and therapy as well that will provide you with the tools necessary to resolve past trauma. I remember a quote by Bruce Lee where he said "To be like water, my friend" and I believe that means to just go with the flow in life. If try to force things and it does not work, just try another way. It's pointless to get upset about your way of doing things isn't working, try another way! Instead of being stubborn, you can have endless opportunities to use your creative thinking skills to make your life easier and better. I believe for spring you should do some spring cleaning, whether is cleaning your home, saging your room, or going to a river to take a dip in the water. Now would be a good time to bask in the fruits of your labor and enjoy the fruition of things unfolding. To blossom at this point in your life, you need to take things slow, and appreciate what beauty is in your surroundings. You could start noticing things you never have before. Os MELHORES lançamentos de 2024 pt. 2

Olha só quem decidiu dar as caras para uma parte 2! Já adiantando que, diferente da lista anterior, aqui teremos apenas 5 lançamentos. Esse ano foi sofrido pra música em geral, lançamentos fraquíssimos que prometiam ser um grande mousse e que terminaram sendo uma grande piada. Sem mais enrolação, vamos para a lista.

1. Liniker — CAJU

Liniker com esse álbum definitivamente se consagra como o maior (e melhor) nome da nova MPB. Mereceu toda a aclamação, sucesso comercial e até ser imortalizada pela Academia Brasileira de Cultura, entregou um trabalho lindo, com composições lindas, arranjos lindos, tudo nesse álbum é lindo, e mais lindo ainda é ver uma travesti negra chegando em espaços que a maioria dessa população não consegue alcançar, fechado pra sempre com ela.

2. brat and it's completely different but also still brat — Charli XCX

A esse ponto todo mundo já sabe que esse foi o ano dela, apesar dos fãs de uma certa cantora loira negarem, o BRAT teve um impacto gigantesco desde o seu anúncio e botando o nome da Charli foi novamente para o boca do povo depois de 10 anos do hit Fancy com a ex cantora Iggy Azealia. E surfando nesse hype, a maioral lançou um álbum de remixes cheia de parcerias com nomes grandes e em ascensão da indústria, apesar de não ser melhor que o álbum original, é legal ver os feats e arranjos novos do álbum.

3. Yves — I Did

Nossa querida ex membro do LOONA (que há boatos de voltar agora que o Loossemble saiu da CTD Ent.) teve possívelmente os melhores projetos após o fim do grupo e esse EP firma ela nessa posição. Apesar de Viola não ser uma música melhor que LOOP, as bsides do EP definitivamente são melhores do que do debut, nossa princesa merece tudo de bom.

4. Magdalena Bay — Imaginal Disk

Ok, eu estaria mentindo se dissesse que esse álbum vale o hype todo que teve no Twitter, na verdade, ele é bem mediano. O problema principal aqui é que esse álbum é desnecessariamente longo, 15 faixas e que você em uma primeira escutada só vai gostar de umas 8, colocando aqui exclusivamente pra encher linguiça.

5. tripleS Visionary Vision — Performante

Olha eu queria MUITO ter gostado mais dessa unit. O principal que me fez não curtir muito é a formação já reciclada (AAA e LOVElution) com pouquíssimas alterações entre essas duas (adição da Kotone, Yeonji, Lynn e Jiyeon), mas se seguirem esse formato de um lançamento com as 24 integrantes e uma unit nova por ano com 12 integrantes acho que tem tudo pra dar certo. Outro problema é que o conceito da unit é mais voltado pra dança e metade desse álbum são fillers, além das músicas de mixagem duvidosa que não pode faltar nos álbuns pra sinalizar para nós que o orçamento acabou. Apesar de tudo, esse álbum consegue funcionar bem apesar de não ser o melhor do grupo.

So I didn't know Kaliii could sing. I kept waiting for her to rap until I realized this was a slow jam. Gas You Up is ready for radio.

The song's theme is cute and brings back the car themed song which is one of my favorite kinds hip-hop song. I love a good song about car sex. I also love puns which this song has lots of.

Leaning hard on a double entendre, "Gas You Up" is clever enough to keep my attention. The song is fine, definitely relatable. I'm definitely gonna sing along because I love the chorus. Kaliii's voice is pillowy and enjoyable. It's definitely going on the "MyMan,MyMan,MyMan" playlist.

But we approach the same impass as always by the feature. Oh the feature... My opinion has always been that male rap features are terrible and they're not worth the cover art or association. If the male featured rapper is not gonna match your sexy, kick him off the track.

Hunxho gives nothing here. It's actually frustrating to watch Kaliii set the mood for two verses and right when you're super into it, here come Hunxho lumbering to the mic with zero charisma. In a summer where Tinashe has the whole world talking about matching your partner's freak, it makes this feature even less tolerable. There is no freak matched here. It could have been a very sexy duet but Hunxho sounds like he don't even wanna get fucked in the car. Rap like you want some car sex, man!

After several generic lines about sex positions, he raps "you don't even gotta gas me up, because you know me so well," Which deflates the momentum and theme of the song! These dudes cannot compose. I'm getting sick of it. Man, it's okay to have a paise kink for two minutes in a song. I promise you won't lose anything. Hunxho should have written something more thoughtful, adding to the idea that being big-upped and gassed up by your partner can make you feel really good. Especially if she fucking you in the back of a car for funsies. It’s right there in the song. Failing this hard when the singer laid the groundwork is what frustrates me so badly. This is just a nothing verse.

We have, in history, examples of male rappers giving it their best in collaboration with women artists. Mariah Carey and all her featured rappers pioneered this kind of track. Method Man and Mary J Blige were amazing together. Even more recently, Travis Scott's version SZA's “Love Galore” is integral to the songs structure and story. It has been done. Hell, even Da Baby(who sucks) understood how to execute his feature in Megan Thee Stallion’s “Cash Shit.”

In summation: “Gas You Up” is worthy of your booty mixtape. Mariah would have sent Hunxho back to the booth.
