can you even imagine how good the warmind cutscene would be with blood? the one after we first see xol, just before the boss fight? being buried in the snow, blood soaking into it before we manage to free ourselves and ghost heals us? do you even get it??

Honestly I have a lot of thoughts rolling around in my head about the Scorn and how they relate/mirror The Guardian. And how that ties into Forsaken’s over-arching message of a Guardian not being inherently good solely because the Light chose them. And how no matter which side you’re on, at the end of the day killing anyone who stands in your way is REALLY fucked up whether that be with Light or with the Darkness and the reasoning/rationalizing of leaving all that death in your wake Does Not Matter as much as the act itself

i think being called a fake destiny 2 fan by someone on tumblr is going in my memoir. that's so fucking funny. sorry you searched my blog and found only cursory mentions of it, or didn't read the tags on the posts where i mention knowledge of multiple expansions' worth of lore, and decided i hadn't played it since cayde-6 died. it's just that nothing worth talking about has happened in that game in six years. so.

the fact i can’t go back and play so much of destiny2’s story makes me so sad

so fascinated in the difference between stuff i really like and stuff that flips a switch in my brain. i know ive brought the topic up multiple times its just i keep trying to find a way to properly articulate the experience lol

i had a temporary hitman phase a little while ago but it didnt flip the switch in my brain the way trigun did

outer wilds is one of my favorite games of all time but it didnt flip the switch in my brain the way undertale did

i dont know how else to describe it except for a switch being flipped lol. idk, its like i start learning about/reading/watching/etc this new thing and something metaphorically clicks in my brain. i get attached like a magnet LOLLLL
