“Oh well, that’s different then.” Across the desk, Sharpe leans back in her own chair and purses her lips. “That makes it all much more believable of course. I guess I’ll have to eat my words when I see our suspect ‘wolf out’ right here on the National Mall.”

The corners of Sara’s mouth twitch up again. “Don’t be silly, Sharpe,” she says, her voice low and playful, “It’s not that kind of shapeshifter. This one appears fully human – except for the fact that they can completely alter their appearance of course.”

Similarities

I just realized that the Spear of Destiny arc from Season Two of “D.C.’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” strongly reminded me of the Infinity Stones arc from Phases One to Three of MCU.  And honestly?  I found the Spear of Destiny arc more satisfying.

Supergirl Bashing

I sometimes wonder why some shows have such amazing fandoms when others are the most divided and hate-filled corners of the internet. I know other shows where there are opposing ships but they still don’t reach the hate level that Supergirl has amassed. As a queer woman I understand the need for diversity and representation but for the most part, the superhero shows on tv follow the comic books as a guide and don’t stray from major plot points (usually). I don’t understand how people can direct so much hate at not only fictional characters but the actors who put in so much effort to do their job. They are people too and to see people condemn what a character “stands for” yet spread just as much toxicity is simply hypocritical. If Supergirl had started on The CW would it have gotten such a rude and hateful audience? I feel like by starting on CBS it brought in a larger audience that is more concerned with getting their way no matter the cost rather than the close knit communities I’ve seen come from The CW shows.
