Your Tangled B-127 AU is really interesting! I have a question tho, if B really trusts Sentinel and thinks the outside of sub level 50 is dangerous. How does D-16 and Orion convince B to help them escape Sub level 50?

you see while there is that belief that was instilled by sentinel, he also secretly wants to go outside. When D-16, Orion Pax, and Starscream (he’s Flynn rider here) crash into Sub-Level 50, they just give him the extra courage needed to do what he wants, just like Rapunzel needed Flynn to finally have the courage to leave the tower.

Ok I love love LOVE the idea that Laudna realized her feelings for Imogen after the gayest conversation in existence™ because Imogen started using her circlet to block out thoughts literally the next morning. So (assuming Laudna didn’t realize this explicitly while they were talking) Imogen wouldn’t have had a reason to think that things had changed and meanwhile Laudna was rethinking EVERYTHING. That’s like romcom-level bad (or maybe good?) timing.

And then they got split up right around that time too so she couldn’t have seen Laudna’s behavior change even if she wasn’t relying on their mental connection. It makes complete sense that she asked to kiss her with the full expectation that she would be rejected.

(also I’m pretty sure I’ve read a fanfic that had Laudna experience this exact moment of realization so congrats to that person for getting a good grade in gay subtext interpretation)
