@tybaltsrapier headcanoned that benvolio would grow his hair out in honour of mercutio's death and i just had to draw it. mulletvolio anyone

i added that he'd have a little braid because of how his friend's hair was braided on one side. and @realtranstybalt said that he'd grow his roots out because it reminds him of romeo. i also added in my hc that benvolio would wear black, even after all the funerals because all the costumes are very colour coded. something about how he's the symbol of the deceased by being the only one left living, he bears their deaths like a cross

ended up making him look a lot more miserable than i intended, but hey, it works. also gave him cyril niccolai's iconic 5 o clock shadow haha

a few years ago i had an intense hyperfixation on romeo et juliette (musical) and cyril niccolai's benvolio was truly the blorbo to rule all blorbos for me. so i named my blog after him and probably wont change it even though i don't post about r&j heaps anymore.

An Exploration Of My Synesthesia: pt. 1 - RETJ Edition

so it’s pretty much a year and a half ish since i discovered that ‘??? not everyone can see/feel music???’. so i’m finally putting this tiny project to life; basically, i’m gonna show you what different artists’ voices look like to me. however, instead of drawing it etc, i’m gonna show you through something else i’m passionate about: LUSH bathbombs. 

yup, you read that right. i’m gonna show you voices through bathbombs. fun, yeah?

in this first part i’m picking some of the Roméo Et Juliette actors, bc i am still obsessed with them (oops). i’ll link to an example of their voice in their name, and picture sources are in the bathbomb name. please note that the colours aren’t gonna be completely accurate, as that is p much impossible
