Ok, so do think that you can do relationship hcs for Cynthia, Lusamine, Diantha from Pokemon?
The fact that a Pokemon request of all things took so damn long is baffling but whatever. Minimalistic post since I don't have banners for Pokemon and I don't feel like going through Tumblr gifs to find a decent one for everyone.
God this took way too long. Writer's block struck at the worst possible time.
Cynthia
-Cynthia's occupation as champion keeps her quite busy. Neither of you particularly enjoy this but that's just how the cookie crumbles as they say.
-Despite that, she's surprisingly good at separating work from her personal life. When the League's finding itself in a slow season and new trainers aren't running amok around Sinnoh she'll always manage to find time for you.
-She's extremely supportive of whatever you do and will be there all the way. Wanna be a trainer too? Congratulations, you have a world class mentor. Wanna be an archeologist, she will nerd out about ancient mythology with you all you want and join you on your excavations. Anything you wanna do, Pokemon-related or not, has her full support.
-Between her mythological studies on the side with her work and training as champion, there are moments she overworks herself. You'll need to play the role of caretaker and bring her back down to Earth.
-Of course despite this, it doesn't stop her from doing the same for you when necessary. Gently pushing you to go to sleep, preparing a fresh cup of your favorite warm drink, or knocking you out with a bat hugging you from behind to relax you.
-Her Pokemon quickly form an attachment to you, they see her family as theirs, too. Seeing her terrifying, nightmare inducing Garchomp acting like a big puppy will never get old.
-If you have a team of their own, they get quite protective, especially the unevolved, inexperienced ones. At least until you end up catching up to them, which they eventually will under their tutelage.
Lusamine
-Realistically, you really only get close enough to be in a relationship if you start as an employee at the Aether Foundation. Your hard-working attitude and sincere kindness towards the Pokemon they take care of quickly grabs her attention. Something about you just stood out even among the similar employees working under her.
-The relationship instantly is declared to be a secret, she still needs to keep a professional appearance at work. In private though is a different story.
-Once you do manage to win Lusamine's heart, she's extremely attached and clingy. Considering how her last relationship ended, she will not let you go. And you can bet that you're not touching anything involving Ultra Wormholes with a 40 foot pole.
-Very physically clingy all around despite what your first impressions of her might have been. It's a pleasant surprise when she finally drops the professional facade around you and craves gentle intimacy.
-It's only natural that Lillie and Gladion quickly become a big part of your life considering how big of a part they are in Lusamine's. Being there for them is a requirement in your relationship.
-It takes a while for them to warm up to you, but they do eventually. Lillie's much more open about it, happy to have a second parent in her life again. Gladion does try to keep up the edgy persona, but he does become fond of you, albeit shown very subtly.
-It's a very surprisingly domestic relationship after the whole Ultra Space incident. A very happy family picture with Lillie and Gladion around.
Diantha.
-Much like the last two ladies, very busy. Being a champion and a movie star means she's not exactly swimming in free time. Whenever you two do get to go out together, disguises are needed thanks to her fame.
-Dating Diantha means your fashion sense sees a noticeable improvement. Mostly to have effective disguises so you can go out in public without being hounded by paparazzi. It's actually quite pleasant when it works.
-You learn to spot her out in public regardless of what she's wearing as she beckons you over to a nice cafe or restaurant she wants to try with you. Kalos is known for it's exquisite fine dining, whatever gets her approval is bound to be the good stuff.
-The public is inevitably soon going to find out you're dating THE Diantha. You're gonna become a bit of a celebrity yourself whether you like it or not. If you're pursuing anything to do for a living, you're at the very least gonna get eyes on it, fortunately. You two immediately become Kalos' power couple.
-If you have a Pokemon capable of Mega Evolution, Diantha will be your number one fan and mentor in helping you achieve that power. She's about the best you could ask for in this regard, her ace is a Psychic type that she Mega Evolves, after all.
-Despite all the glamor and lights, she does crave something of a domestic life. She very much appreciates a more traditional partner there for the long run who wants the same thing. To her, buying a house and settling down is her ultimate goal, and showing you want the same makes you two pretty much set for life.

M!Reader blushing : Ohmygosh why are you like this sometimes sweetheart–

💝Cynthia Romantic HCs📜
hi hi yes we will do our regularly scheduled content but i need a break from the twins for a hot second. i am experiencing some bad writers block today, so probably not many posts.
📎 Busy, busy woman. Her duties as champion and archaeological interest consume the entirety of her schedule. She's constantly travelling, exploring and battling. Yet sporadically, she just disappears from the public eye for a moment. These are her times to unwind and relax, she might go visit Undella Town in Unova, hang out at some undisclosed resort in Alola, or just go to her hometown of Celestic Town with her grandma chasing off any unwanted visitors. These times are dedicated with you when you start dating. Her work stresses her out, not necessarily in a bad way, but it's nice to slow down and just have a long evening with your lover.
📎 She's down for PDA. You're her partner, why wouldn't she want some affection from you, even with others watching? She'll kiss your cheeks, grab at your hands often and wrap an arm around you in conversation. You're allowed to do whatever you want with her, too. It's funny because you literally bury your face in her chest and squeeze the air out of her lungs and she'll just keep talking about the ruins she's investigating at the current moment, face pleasant. Her hand may even come brush at your hair.
📎 In private, she's the same. You'll cuddle on the couch, lying your head in her lap while she plays with your hair and reads over some documents. Kisses are commonly snuck in when she catches you off guard, she thinks your surprised expression is adorable. Your revenge comes from the attempt at being overly clingy in public, but she doesn't care. It's nearly impossible to cause her to falter, and she just loves your affection. Cynthia keeps an arm around you while she sleeps. Whenever other champions see you two together, the more immature one's gag at how lovey-dovey you are.
📎 Would love to take you out on her business. If the work wounds her up too tight, you're there to gently walk her back down to the ground. Her job does eat at her mental health occasionally. She's confident and cool, but we all have our moments of weakness. Just give her your time and let her relax in your arms. She's not ultra-powerful, highly intelligent, beautiful Champion Cynthia with you. She's just a tired woman who wants some love from her partner. Run your hands through her long blonde locks while she hums in contentment. Take a hot, mind easing bath with her and watch as she de-stresses. It's so pleasant to watch the weight on her shoulders ebb away. She also wants to show you the ruins, artifacts, and other items she finds on excursions. Please look at the cool funeral urn and clap.
📎 Cynthia does get jealous, actually. It's rare, but never fails to be an experience. Someone clearly has failed to acknowledge your romantic involvement with the blonde (or is fully aware of it, but doesn't care), and is trying everything to get you to give them the time of day. Cynthia stomps over with this lop-sided grin that doesn't fit her usual persona at all. Her stormy eyes are harsh at the person daring to bother her lover. Her hands grab your upper arms, and she introduces herself proudly as your girlfriend. There's something darker lurking just under the surface, but you smartly bid the person a farewell. Something about Cynthia is so foreign in those moments. It slightly terrifies you.
📎 Actually craves a sense of domesticity with you. Her home's a mess, she's so busy. Meals are bought and never made. Yes, they're quality dishes, but she misses the certain intimacy you get when someone cooks for you. Her grandma's meals heavy on her mind. She never has time to slow down and just be a person some days. So if you cook her a meal, help her organise and clean, and remind her that she's just a human being, she's debating marrying you. The perfect counter to her seemingly workaholic nature.
📎 She's interested in whatever career you decide to pursue. Are you a trainer? She's happy to be a power couple with you, so long as you leave that outside the door of your shared home. Researcher? Cynthia is glad to provide her information and findings to help you along. Archaeologist? Please — help with her personal research, and she'll never let you go. No matter what you do, she wants to help you like you'll inevitably assist her. (Even just sitting there listening to her rambling about some runes she saw is seen as extremely helpful to her.)
📎 She's horribly distressed when you're gone one day without warning. There were no signs of you being unhappy in your relationship, nothing was packed, no contact made through any means to inform her of your leaving. You've just vanished into the void of nothingness. Cynthia actually breaks down and cries, something extremely rare for her. Why would you do something so cruel to her? She never did anything to hurt you, nor did fail to give you her precious time and affection. (In the distant past, you're screaming internally at a familiar smile on a strikingly similar man to your girlfriend. The grin means nothing well intentioned, you know.)

Cynthia is absolutely the type to cry at her own wedding. Normally calm and collected, she spends the hours leading up to the event smoothing over her crisp, white suit again and again, worrying about every small detail, practically burning her steps into the ground as she paces about.
Standing at the arch, her fiddling continues, although to a lesser extent, vowing to keep her nervousness at bay, but when she sees you? It's over for her. You're just so beautiful, so gorgeous, positively radiant. Tears are falling from her eyes before she knows it.
She wipes them away (careful not to disturb her aptly applied makeup) before you reach her, delicately taking both your hands in hers, staring so deeply and lovingly into your eyes. She can't help but thank her lucky stars that you'll be by her side for the rest of her life, nor can she stop from imaging how she's going to rail you into next week as soon as she whisks you away to your hotel room at the end of the night.

Cynthia x male s/o headcanons
Tumblr media
Cynthia met s/o at the Canalave City library where he was reading a book she was interested in.
The two hit it off immediately and quickly became friends.
Cynthia learned that s/o is an amateur archaeologist who was studying the history of Sinnoh.
The two would spend hours discussing history and old Sinnoh myths, leading to her and s/o developing feelings for one another.
After a couple months of pining for each other, Cynthia decides to take initiative and tell s/o how she feels about him.
“S/o, there’s something I need to tell you. I’ve felt a connection to you ever since I met you. We’ve been friends for a while now, but I would like us to be more than that. What I’m trying to say is that I love you s/o, but if you don’t feel the same way I understa-”
She’s cut off by s/o pulling her into a passionate kiss, making the Sinnoh champion blush deeply before sinking into the kiss.
He pulls away and gives her a warm smile.
“I feel the exact same way Cynth, I love you too.”
After that, he and Cynthia officially became a couple.
Whenever she isn’t busy with her champion duties, Cynthia joins s/o on his archeological escapades as if they were dates.
The two don’t tend to have much leisure time together due to their busy schedules sadly, but they always find a way to put a little time aside to just sit on the couch and cuddle.
Cynthia’s grandmother absolutely adores s/o, constantly teasing her about how he’s a keeper and should hold onto him as long as she can, much to Cynthia’s embarrassment.
All of Cynthia’s Pokémon really like s/o, especially Garchomp, who gets excited like a little puppy whenever she sees him, much to her trainer’s amusement.
She and s/o buy a house together in Jubilife City and spend all their time there whenever possible.
After Cynthia loses her Champion title, she has much more time to spend with her beloved s/o.
She likes going on vacation with her s/o to the Unova region to stay at her friend Caitlin’s villa.
On their 3rd anniversary as a couple, s/o takes Cynthia on a romantic dinner at her favorite restaurant and gets on one knee, causing the former champ to gasp in surprise.
S/o pulls out a beautiful engagement ring from his pocket and smiles at his beautiful girlfriend.
“Cynthia, we’ve been together for 3 years now, and I feel that now’s the time to do this. I love you with all my heart, so will you make me the happiest man in all the world and marry me?”
She tears up and nods excitedly at her boyfriend with a wide smile.
“Yes! Yes, of course I’ll marry you s/o!”
She hugs him tightly as happy tears stream down her face.
Needless to say, the future is incredibly bright for Cynthia and her s/o.

Obsessed with the idea of Cynthia thinking the reason why her keeps pounding whenever she sees you is because she wants to battle you. Only to realise that no matter how often the two of you challenge each other, both you using one another as testers for new team compositions due to how much you battle, the pounding remains. To the point where the thought of you has her all flushed.
Then you ask her out on a date and it all makes sense. She says yes immediately btw.

Pokémon Hot Dragon women
Various pokémon women as hybrid dragons
Do you know what's awesome?
Dragons...
Do you know what's even more awesome?
Hot women!
Yeah I definitely missed some hot women Don't worry
Tumblr media
Lorelei/Baxcalliber hybrid
For some reason this Baxcalliber hybrid has more feathers covering about half of her body especially around her chest. Humans think it's to keep her warm. Lorelei has sharp claws and even sharper sail on her back. She is known in the icy mountains for her called demeanor toward humans.
However any human able to break through her I see heart will be alarmed at how warm she could be. However that warmth is only for you. She has no intention in sharing it with others.
She sees you as a bumbling little human fool. Never change She thinks you're cute this way. If any harm shall to come to you They will succumb to her I see breath and sharp as steel claws
Claire/Dragonair hybrid
A Dragonair That has yet to evolve. She likes her half serpentine body. She does not want to look like her cousin Lance who is a hybrid Dragonite.
Unlike the docile Dragonair Claire is stubborn and standoffish, She will not accept help from humans even if she is one foot in the grave. You don't know how you got the eye of this dragon. Maybe it was because despite all efforts of her trying to push you away when you found her injured You still stayed with her until she healed.
She still visits often, Even though she has a dragon hybrid her mannerisms remind you more of a cat. She wants you to keep your distance from her but occasionally, her stricken with curiosity and infatuation will come towards you.
Nessa/Kingdra hybrid
Very wary of people so much so that she almost never comes up to the surface. But you were a rare case. You dropped a necklace into the water and you thought you'd never see it again until you thought you saw a hand coming up from the waves throwing it onto the Sandy Beach.
You yelled out thank you giving the mysterious thing whatever it was a shell. Nessa is wary of humans but you seemed nice. The next time you met your eyes met when you stared down in the ocean blue over a bunch of rocks.
You knew her immediately She must have been the same person who grabbed your necklace! It was the first time she'd ever interacted with a human in a long time and she has not regretted it.
Perrin/salamance hybrid
Looks terrifying but is actually a sweetheart. You were outside taking pictures of pokémon and plants when you come face to face with a terrifying Salamance hybrid. Her claws were sharp her teeth even sharper and her gaze fixated on your device. She looked terrifying yet beautiful at the same time You couldn't help But be mesmerized.
You were scared for a moment but that fear instantly fade, You picked a wildflower putting it behind her ear before takingher picture and gave it to her.
She followed you home and now she visits you constantly, wherever you go she seems to know exactly where you are trying to play with you or your camera.
Cynthia/garchomp hybrid
Terrifying but also a sweetheart. But don't mess with her. She only has so much patience. You've heard that it is very hard to earn a garchomp's respect even more so a hybrid. Dragons have good judges of character You've also heard maybe that's why this garchomp hybrid decided to stay in your camping site just sitting there watching you closely as you study old artifacts and old runes.
She was even a good travel companion when you explored the ruins of Alph, perhaps there was something she was trying to find as well?
Cynthia likes you, What she is seeing you are very knowledgeable and caring of pokémon. You are also interested in ancient treasures of the old. You are also kind and sweet despite who she was you were not afraid. Yeah she likes you.
Rika/Flygon hybrid
You lived near the flats of the Mesa in the paldea region You've heard that hybrids were rare more so dragon hybrids. However you're starting to think that was a lie. Everyday you Walk on the same trail and this hybrid you don't know what she's doing has been trying to show off to you.
You try to ignore her at first only for her to frown at you. Now she's trying to get your attention, stealing your things, playing with you, whipping up tiny Sandy gusts to blow stuff off of you.
That toothy smile and that wild look in her eyes you don't trust. You could almost see a glint of mischief. However, that was all you saw until she protected you from a while pokémon.

Could request headcanons of Cynthia with a short s/o? I love how you write her!
Thank you! I hope you like these HCs as well. :)
Cynthia x short!reader – general HCs
Cynthia isn't a mean person, so she would never make fun of you because of your height. In fact, she probably doesn't care about your height at all. If it isn't a problem for you, it isn't a problem for her either, especially since there are far more important things than appearance.
If you struggle with the fact that you're quite short, she's all about reassuring you that you're fine the way you are and that there's absolutely nothing to be ashamed about. You can't change your height, so you just need to accept it and try your best to feel comfortable in your own skin.
She will be there if you need help though. Since she's probably taller than you, she doesn't mind assisting you when you need something from an upper shelf and can't reach it on your own. Sometimes, she also just grabs you and tries to lift you up which usually results in both of you having a laughing fit.
Occasionally, she likes to tease you about your height because she thinks that it's really cute when you pout. She always makes sure that you know that she's not being too serious about it though. It's more of a playful teasing. For example, she rests her arm on your head when you're standing next to each other but she reassures you every time that she's just joking since she really doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
If others make fun of you, Cynthia won't hesitate to step in but only if you're comfortable with her defending you. She knows that you can stand up for yourself but sometimes, she just feels the urge to protect you from stupid comments and stuff like that.

Can I get some smut headcanons for Cynthia from Pokemon with a female reader, please?
Warnings: Sex, Sexual Situations, Outdoor Sex, Public Sex, Orgasm Denial, Teasing, Implied Oral Kink, Implied Thigh Kink
Cynthia is someone who loves to have sex outdoors. She loves exploring and that bleeds into her sex life too. It’s less of the thrill of getting caught and more that the beautiful scenery is a good mood builder. It’s hard for her to resist pulling you into her arms when you’ve planned a picnic at the mouth of a beautiful cave, the sun setting and casting everything in a golden glow. She loves it when you push her into the dirt and kiss her hard, as long as no one can see what’s going on.
She’s not very loud in bed but loves to try and make you cry out. She likes hearing how much pleasure you’re in; let her know how good she’s doing and she’ll make it even better. This can lead to a lot of teasing and denial if you’re stubborn or naturally quiet. And if you’re cheeky enough to silence yourself on purpose? Cynthia is much less merciful.
Her favorite position is when you straddle her face, clinging to something above her (usually a headboard or a tree). She loves looking up between your legs to see your face twisted in pleasure. She has no issue holding your weight, not matter the size and is happy to bite and nip at your thighs. The bigger the better in her opinion; she wants to eat you out until you pass out.
Cynthia wants to treat you like a precious stone. She handles you like you’re delicate, running her fingers over you lightly and never applying too much pressure. If you want something rougher, you’ll have to be explicit. She smirks the first time you tell her, happy to do whatever you want. Don’t be surprised when Cynthia goes into your next session full force, paddle and rope ready. She’ll let you know after how she wants you to reciprocate.

May I request Dawn and Cynthia (pokemon) general relationship headcanons, and beach headcanons?
General Relationship Headcanons // Beach Headcanons
FANDOM: Pokemon
Character(s): Cynthia, Dawn
Type of Request: Headcanons
Word Count: 225
Note(s): I've done so many Cynthia headcanons for you, I'm trying to think of new stuff to put xD
Tumblr media
Cynthia
Most of your time with her is spent on video calls since she's constantly traveling. It's a bit of a long distance relationship you two have.
Probably likes to take walks as dates. Just walking around the route or to some hill or flower field to relax.
Might take you with her on some business trips. May not be able to spend time with you the whole time but at least you're both in the same area so it's not so lonely.
Enjoys the beach, probably likes to walk and view the different water Pokemon. Or just look at the pretty seashells, might want to collect a couple cause they are interesting.
Dawn
Very affectionate in the relationship. Also very blunt so expect lots of compliments and love from her.
Although she has a bit of a temper so if you end up teasing her too much then she'll blow a raspberry at you and do the silent treatment thing (it doesn't last long at all).
Lots of helping her hype up for contests. She just has lots of pre contest nerves but once she's past that then she's great. So help route for her.
Loves the beach. Just loves to run along the sand and have her Pokemon out. Okay but beach volleyball with the Pokemon and you two? That'd be so much fun!

cynthia confessing to you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: cynthia x gn!reader
tags: wholesome fluff, confession but no dating yet, cynthia plans to travel through time, pre-canon setting
Tumblr media
cynthia knew she wouldn't be by your side for much longer, but there were still things she needed to tell you, before she traveled back into the past
there were a lot of things on her mind, but the most important thing was letting you know how she felt about you, before being seperated for such a long time
the night before her departure, cynthia asked you to meet her, at the place the two of you first met when you were younger
she was uncharacteristically quiet and serious when you got there and you immediately knew that what she was about to tell you would be important
and then, she said the words she had nervously rehearsed earlier: "i'm in love with you! i have been for quite a while now. please, if i return safely, go on a date with me!"

⋆. 𐙚 ˚ — unexpected love; elphaba thropp & glinda upland
paring : elphaba thropp x glinda upland x fem!reader
reader sticks up for elphaba, glinda feels bad and starts being nicer, she finds herself feeling things, that aren’t platonic?
Tumblr media
The air at Shiz was always electric, the hum of students rushing through hallways, whispers of gossip swirling in every corner, and the constant pressure of exams hanging over everyone’s heads.
For most students, this was just part of the grind—but for you, there was always something else: the undercurrent of loneliness that seemed to follow Elphaba, as constant as her shadow.
It wasn’t that she wasn’t capable of handling it. Elphaba was strong, more than anyone gave her credit for. But there was something about the way she carried herself—isolated, guarded, as if she were constantly preparing for a world that was always just a step away from breaking her.
You never could quite understand why people treated her the way they did, but there you were, sitting beside her at the long wooden table in the common room, a soft breeze trickling through the open window. You tried to concentrate on your homework, the quiet clatter of books and papers the only sound in the room, when suddenly, you heard Glinda’s unmistakable voice.
“Well, Elphaba,” Glinda said with a little too much cheer, her voice dripping with something between amusement and mockery, “are you sure you’re not going to burn your papers with all that… heat you’re giving them?”
You could feel Elphaba tense beside you, her eyes narrowing at the comment.
Her quill paused mid-sentence, and for a second, you swore the temperature in the room dropped a few degrees. Glinda, oblivious as always to the weight of her words, continued, her gaze flicking between you and Elphaba.
“I mean, really,” she added, her words light as a feather but sharp as a blade. “You can’t possibly be having fun with all this studying, can you? I don’t even know how you do it. You must be miserable.”
You didn’t even think, just reacted. You pushed yourself slightly out of your seat, leaning over to face Glinda.
“Glinda, that’s enough,” you said, voice steady but carrying an edge. “Just because Elphaba doesn’t care for endless gossiping and glitzy parties doesn’t mean she’s miserable.”
Glinda blinked, surprised by your sudden defense. “Oh, come on, I was just joking around!” she said, her tone faltering. “We’re friends, right?”
You couldn’t help the frustration that bubbled up inside you. “Being friends means treatingeach other like friends, not making sarcastic comments about how someone spends their time. Elphaba works hard. And maybe if you stopped acting like her studying was some kind of joke, you’d see that.”
There was a charged silence in the room as the words hung in the air, the tension between you and Glinda palpable.
But then, you saw it. The faintest glimmer in Elphaba’s eyes, the tiniest of smiles tugging at the corners of her lips. It was small, but it was there. And for a split second, you wondered if you’d made a mistake.
“I’m… sorry,” Glinda said, her voice soft, and the apology seemed genuine, though laced with the uncertainty of someone who didn’t quite understand what they’d done wrong. “I didn’t mean to upset you, Elphaba.”
Elphaba didn’t look up, but her voice was quieter than usual, a softness you didn’t often hear. “I’m fine, really. But… thanks. For standing up for me.”
The words landed between the three of you, shifting the atmosphere like a breeze before a storm. Glinda, for once, seemed at a loss for words, and you couldn’t quite read the expression on Elphaba’s face—was it appreciation, or something else?
But in that moment, something changed. Maybe it was just a small crack in the surface, or maybe it was the beginning of something deeper.
The three of you sat there, the awkwardness lingering for just a moment longer than it should have, before the tension slowly eased, replaced by the comfortable silence of shared space.
The days after the incident in the common room were strange—different, in a way that neither of you quite understood. Elphaba still kept mostly to herself, immersed in her studies, and Glinda, while she made an effort to be nicer, still hovered around with her usual antics.
But something had shifted. There was a subtle warmth between you and Elphaba, something unspoken, but real.
You weren’t sure what had changed exactly—maybe it was the way she’d looked at you after you stood up for her, or the quiet thank you she’d offered afterward, but the distance between you seemed to lessen.
You started finding excuses to sit near her during meals, offering her a quiet smile or the occasional comment about the weather or the homework that both of you hated equally. Small things, but they meant something.
One day, you found yourself sitting at the corner of the courtyard, nursing a warm drink in your hands as you watched the late afternoon sunlight spill across the grass. The rest of the campus had emptied out, leaving only a few students wandering between buildings, but you weren’t alone.
Elphaba had joined you quietly, as she always did—no words at first, just a soft thud of her boots as she sat beside you.
You didn’t mind the silence. In fact, you welcomed it. There was a comfort in sitting with someone without needing to fill the space with chatter. Elphaba always seemed to prefer it that way, and so did you.
After a few minutes, Elphaba shifted slightly in her seat, her eyes on the distant horizon. You knew she wasn’t one for small talk, but you couldn’t help yourself.
“Do you think the world will ever change?” you asked quietly, your voice barely above a whisper. “Like, really change?”
Elphaba’s gaze flickered over to you, and for a moment, there was hesitation in her eyes. She had a habit of keeping her emotions tightly locked away, but you could see the shift—the way her shoulders relaxed just a fraction, as if she was finally letting herself breathe.
“You mean in the way people treat each other?” she asked, her voice low but thoughtful.
You nodded, meeting her eyes now. “Yeah. I mean… Glinda and the others—they don’t always see what’s really going on with you. They don’t see how hard you work, or how much you care. They just see… whatever they want to see.”
Elphaba’s lips tightened for a moment, and you could see the familiar bitterness flash in her eyes. But then, she sighed, a soft, almost reluctant sound. “I’ve learned to stop trying to change their minds. People don’t change that easily. But maybe… maybe it’s enough if I change the way I see things.”
You didn’t speak right away, letting the words sink in. There was something vulnerable in her tone, a rare honesty that you didn’t expect from her. You offered a small, reassuring smile, the kind that didn’t need to be said aloud.
“Maybe the world doesn’t have to change all at once,” you said. “Maybe it just takes one person to change the way they see things. Even if it’s just you and me.”
Elphaba looked at you then, her green eyes softening, and for the first time in what felt like ages, you saw a glimpse of something warm—something genuine.
“Yeah,” she said, the corners of her lips lifting into the smallest of smiles. “Maybe you’re right.”
From that moment on, it was clear that something was blooming between the two of you. It wasn’t fast, it wasn’t perfect, but it was real.
There were no grand gestures, no big moments of dramatic confession—just the slow, steady building of a quiet friendship that you both desperately needed.
The next few weeks felt like a blur—study sessions, homework, and the constant shuffle of life at Shiz. But between the chaos, you found yourself drawn to Elphaba more and more. It wasn’t anything spectacular, just the quiet comfort of being in each other’s company.
One evening, after a particularly grueling day of exams, you found yourself sitting by the fire in the common room. Elphaba was at her usual spot by the window, a book in hand, her dark green face partially illuminated by the soft glow of the firelight. You were curled up in one of the armchairs, trying to relax your sore muscles.
Elphaba glanced over at you, noticing the tense line of your shoulders. “You’re not sleeping well, are you?” she asked, her voice unexpectedly gentle.
You looked up at her, surprised. “What? Oh, I just… I’m fine. Just tired.”
She raised an eyebrow. “You look like you’re carrying the weight of the world. You should take a break sometime, you know.”
You chuckled softly, leaning back in your chair. “I guess it’s hard to stop once you’ve gotten used to pushing through it.”
Elphaba paused, her eyes thoughtful. “Sometimes pushing through can break you.”
The unexpected honesty caught you off guard, but you could tell she wasn’t just speaking from theory. You met her gaze, offering a small, understanding smile.
“Maybe we can both take a break then,” you said, sitting up. “You know, from all this studying.”
Elphaba raised an eyebrow. “And what exactly do you suggest?”
Without warning, you reached for the stack of books on the table and tossed them aside. “I don’t know… something more fun. How about a walk around the campus? The fresh air might do us some good.”
Elphaba looked like she was about to protest, but after a long pause, she gave a slight nod. “Fine. But if we end up in the stables, I’m going straight back inside.”
You laughed, already standing up. “Deal.”
A few days later, you and Elphaba were sitting on the grassy hill near the courtyard, sharing stories and laughs.
The conversation drifted from mundane things—what the professors had said in class that day—to more personal matters.
Elphaba opened up, little by little, talking about her childhood, about the people who didn’t understand her. You listened, never interrupting, just offering a kind word when it was needed. There was a rare vulnerability in her voice, a softness you hadn’t seen before.
“I don’t think many people really get me,” she said quietly, looking out at the sunset. “But I’m starting to think maybe… maybe that’s okay.”
You smiled gently, your heart swelling at the moment of quiet connection. “You don’t have to be like everyone else, Elphaba. You’re already pretty amazing the way you are.”
The words seemed to hang in the air between you, both of you silent for a long time, just enjoying each other’s presence.
It wasn’t long before Glinda started showing up, too—seemingly out of nowhere. At first, she’d wander into the courtyard while you and Elphaba were sitting together, her high heels tapping loudly against the stone path.
“Okay, okay,” Glinda would say, holding up her hands in mock surrender. “I’ll join you guys, but only because I can’t stand seeing you both brooding all alone. It’s so dramatic.”
You and Elphaba exchanged amused glances, but neither of you protested. Glinda, despite her sometimes overwhelming personality, had her moments of genuine sweetness, and she seemed to be trying—really trying—to be more kind.
Slowly, the three of you fell into a routine.
Glinda would join you and Elphaba for casual walks around campus, or sit beside you both at meals. It wasn’t perfect. There were moments of tension, especially when Glinda’s usual teasing slipped out, but you could tell she was making an effort. And for Elphaba, that meant something.
One afternoon, the three of you found yourselves in the library. Elphaba had just finished another stack of books, and Glinda had somehow dragged the two of you into a heated debate about the best way to decorate the dorms for the upcoming semester.
The conversation was lighthearted, but there was something new in the air—the way you all felt more like a team, like friends who’d somehow found each other.
At one point, Glinda leaned back in her chair, smirking. “You know, you two really are a mysterious pair. Elphaba’s always so serious, and you,” she turned to you, “well, you’re just toonice. You balance each other out pretty well.”
You exchanged a look with Elphaba, a smile tugging at your lips. “I guess we do.”
And in that moment, despite the chaos of everything around you, it felt like you were finally all on the same page. Glinda, with her shine and spark, Elphaba, with her quiet intensity, and you, somewhere in between, finding your place.
It wasn’t perfect. But for the first time in a long while, it felt like things were right.
It was a quiet evening, and the three of you had just finished a rather long study session. You were now lounging in the common room, the crackle of the fireplace the only sound filling the space. You were tired, but there was a strange sense of comfort in the familiar routine of being with both Elphaba and Glinda.
Elphaba, of course, had her nose buried in yet another book, her eyes scanning the pages with intensity. Glinda, however, had managed to sneak away from her own homework, casually leaning back in her chair and humming a tune.
After a moment, Elphaba let out an exasperated sigh, clearly frustrated with whatever she was reading. She rubbed her temples, closing the book with a soft thud.
“Something wrong?” Glinda asked, not even looking up from her reflection in the mirror as she adjusted a strand of hair. Her tone was light, teasing, but there was something softer in it than usual.
Elphaba didn’t answer immediately. She simply stared at the pages of her book, a frown creasing her brow. You could tell it wasn’t just the material that was bothering her.
“It’s just… this isn’t going the way I thought it would,” Elphaba muttered, her voice quieter now. “I thought I could just study and figure things out. But sometimes, it feels like no matter how much I do, I’m still falling short.”
Glinda finally turned her head, meeting Elphaba’s gaze. For a moment, there was a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes—something real, something far from the usual bubbly facade.
“You’re not falling short, Elphaba,” Glinda said softly, her voice sincere. “You’re doingeverything. And sometimes, that’s enough, even if it doesn’t feel like it.”
Elphaba blinked, clearly caught off guard by Glinda’s sudden seriousness. The words seemed to hang in the air for a moment, as if Elphaba was processing them, allowing herself to actually hear them.
“Thanks,” Elphaba finally said, her voice almost shy. She shifted in her seat, her tone slightly more hesitant than usual. “I… I know I don’t always say it, but I appreciate it.”
Glinda smiled, though it wasn’t the usual teasing grin. It was soft, almost tender. “Of course, Elphie. You know I’ve got your back.”
There was a long silence after that. You could almost feel the weight of the moment hanging between them, and for the first time, it didn’t feel forced. There was no pretense, no sarcasm—just two people, quietly learning to understand each other.
Another day, the three of you had wandered into the courtyard after dinner, the air crisp as the sun began to dip below the horizon. Elphaba and Glinda had naturally fallen into their usual banter, but there was a new ease in their interactions—like the sharp edges of their old rivalry were softening just a bit.
“So, how’s that little project you’ve been working on?” Glinda asked, throwing Elphaba a sidelong glance. “I’m sure it’s something insufferably intellectual, right?”
Elphaba shot Glinda a look that would have been intimidating on anyone else, but Glinda just giggled.
“I’m trying to write something,” Elphaba said, a small but proud smile playing on her lips. “Not that it’s any of your business.”
Glinda gasped dramatically, her hands flying to her chest. “I knew it! You’re secretly a poet! I should’ve figured it out all along. You’re so deep, Elphaba, it’s tragic.”
Elphaba rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress the chuckle that escaped her lips. “I’m not a poet, Glinda. I just think—well, never mind.”
But Glinda wasn’t about to let it slide. “No, no. Tell me! What’s your secret talent? Come on, I’m practically begging you.”
You watched as Elphaba seemed to hesitate, but then, slowly, she gave in. “Fine,” she muttered, turning to face Glinda more directly. “I write letters. To people I don’t know. Just… random thoughts.”
Glinda blinked in surprise, and for a moment, you thought she might say something sarcastic, but instead, she looked almost thoughtful.
“That’s… actually kind of nice,” Glinda said quietly. “I think it’s sweet that you get your thoughts out that way. It’s… personal, you know?”
Elphaba didn’t look at Glinda, her gaze focused on the ground beneath her. “Yeah, well. It’s the only way I can make sense of things sometimes.”
There was something almost vulnerable in Elphaba’s words, and for once, Glinda didn’t tease her. Instead, she reached out, gently tapping her on the arm.
“Hey, I think that’s really cool, Elphie,” she said softly. “If you ever want to share one, I’ll listen.”
Elphaba looked at her, and for a fleeting moment, there was a quiet understanding between them—a moment where the walls they’d both built started to crack, just a little.
The day was clear and warm, the kind of afternoon that made Shiz seem less like a strict, academic institution and more like a peaceful haven.
After much coaxing, Glinda had convinced you and Elphaba to join her for a picnic in the gardens—though Elphaba had initially protested the idea, claiming that she “didn’t have time for such frivolity,” you knew she’d come around.
There was something about the way the sunlight filtered through the trees that made it hard to resist.
By the time the three of you found a good spot near a large oak tree, the air was thick with the sounds of birds and distant chatter from other students enjoying their free time. Glinda spread out a blanket with more flourish than necessary, tossing her hair over her shoulder dramatically.
“Look at us, spending a lovely afternoon together,” Glinda said with a smile, her voice warm. “Just three friends, living our best lives. Totally not a date.”
You raised an eyebrow, glancing at Elphaba as she set down the basket. Elphaba rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
“Right, not a date,” Elphaba agreed dryly. “I’m just here to make sure neither of you gets sunburned.”
You chuckled, settling down on the blanket and pulling out a sandwich. Glinda, of course, had already prepared an impressive spread, with sandwiches, fruit, and something that looked suspiciously like cupcakes.
“So,” Glinda started, her eyes sparkling mischievously, “what’s the deal with you two, anyway?”
You froze for a second, glancing at Elphaba. “What do you mean?”
Glinda grinned. “You know… you two. You’ve been hanging out a lot. It’s adorable, really. Everyone at Shiz is starting to talk.”
You could feel the warmth creeping up your neck, and Elphaba’s expression mirrored yours—both of you caught off guard by the sudden shift in conversation. Glinda, though, was practically glowing with amusement, clearly enjoying the moment.
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said, fumbling with your sandwich as if that would somehow distract from the awkwardness.
“Come on,” Glinda continued, eyes twinkling. “Don’t pretend you haven’t noticed the way Elphaba looks at you. And you—” she pointed at you, “—you get all shy whenever she says something nice.”
Elphaba’s face turned a shade darker, and she quickly reached for a piece of fruit to avoid looking at either of you. “You’re ridiculous, Glinda. It’s not like that,” she muttered, though her voice lacked its usual sharpness.
“Oh, sure,” Glinda said with a wink. “Whatever you say, Elphie. But it’s not just the two of you. I mean, look at how you’re all sitting so close. The world can tell, you know.”
You looked down at the blanket, realizing that, somehow, you and Elphaba had ended up sitting next to each other, with only a few inches between you.
Glinda was sitting just a little further off, but still close enough that it made the arrangement seem… odd.
Was it a date? It hadn’t felt like one, not in the way Glinda seemed to be implying. You and Elphaba had always shared moments like this, just the two of you, without any intention of anything romantic.
But now, in the warm afternoon sunlight, with Glinda’s teasing floating in the air, you couldn’t help but feel a little self-conscious.
“I don’t think anyone’s going to get the wrong idea,” you said quickly, shifting uncomfortably. “We’re just friends, right?”
Elphaba shot you a look, and despite herself, a small, almost imperceptible smirk tugged at her lips. “Right. Just friends.”
Glinda leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “Are you sure? Because if this is a secret date, I have to know all the details. I’m your number one fan, after all.”
You laughed nervously, the awkwardness still hanging in the air. But even as you spoke, you couldn’t help but notice how comfortable you felt sitting next to Elphaba. It was natural, easy, like the conversation didn’t even need to be said aloud.
“Maybe we should just enjoy the picnic, huh?” you suggested, trying to steer the conversation away from romance and back to the lightheartedness you had before.
“Fine, fine,” Glinda said, leaning back with a dramatic sigh. “But I’ll be watching. Don’t think I won’t figure this out.”
The afternoon continued, and as the sun began to set, the three of you settled into a more relaxed atmosphere.
Elphaba, despite her usual guarded nature, actually seemed to be enjoying herself. She even joined in on some of the jokes, laughing along with Glinda’s exaggerated tales of her “glamorous” life.
You caught a quiet moment with Elphaba near the end of the picnic, the two of you standing together at the edge of the blanket.
“Don’t mind her,” you said softly, nudging Elphaba gently. “She likes to stir things up.”
Elphaba smirked, but it was warmer than usual. “Yeah, well, if she keeps calling us a couple, I might just have to kiss you to make her stop.”
Your eyes widened, and Elphaba, clearly having fun with her teasing, quickly added, “I’m kidding.”
But for just a split second, you both locked eyes, and there was a strange flutter in your chest. Maybe it was the lighthearted teasing, maybe it was just the moment, but there was something in the air between you that felt different. Real. Honest. And just maybe, Glinda wasn’t entirely wrong.
It was one of those rare, quiet evenings when the campus seemed to settle into a peaceful lull. After a week of chaotic classes and exams, the three of you—Elphaba, Glinda, and you—found yourselves gathered in the Shiz common room.
The fireplace crackled softly, casting flickering shadows across the space. You were all tired, but there was a certain warmth in the room—something unspoken that made you want to stay there, together.
Glinda, as usual, was sprawled out on a couch, her legs propped up on the armrest, a bright grin on her face. You and Elphaba sat nearby, Elphaba with a book in hand, and you just enjoying the peaceful evening.
“So,” Glinda began, turning to look at you with a mischievous glint in her eyes, “tell me, dearest,” she addressed you with exaggerated sweetness, “have you thought any more about… us?” She leaned forward a little, her voice full of playful teasing. “You know, you and me. We’d be fabulous together.”
You blinked, unsure of where she was going with this, but you recognized the look in her eyes—she was clearly setting the stage for another round of her usual flirtatious games.
“Oh no,” you said, raising an eyebrow. “Don’t tell me you’re going to start again.”
Glinda pouted, dramatically flicking her hair over her shoulder. “What? No! I just think we’d be so cute together, don’t you? You’re so charming, so adorable… And honestly, I’ve got nothing but time and way too many compliments for you, darling.”
Elphaba, who had been trying to ignore the conversation by pretending to focus on her book, couldn’t help but roll her eyes. She made a sound of disbelief—half annoyance, half amusement.
“Glinda,” Elphaba said, not bothering to hide her sarcasm. “You can’t just flirt with everyone you meet. You’re giving all of us a headache.”
Glinda simply flashed Elphaba an innocent smile, unbothered by her comment. “Oh, come on, Elphie, it’s all in good fun. Besides,” she added with a sly smile, “I can’t help it if I have perfecttaste, can I?”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Right, because you just can’t resist flirting with me.” You paused for a moment, making eye contact with Glinda, before adding with a teasing tone, “Is it because you secretly like me?”
Glinda leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with a flirty challenge. “Oh, you,” she said with a sigh, batting her lashes. “You make it so hard to stay professional, don’t you?”
Elphaba, clearly not amused, raised an eyebrow. “Are you really flirting with her right now? In front of me? This is ridiculous.”
You chuckled, knowing exactly what Elphaba meant. There was something a little over-the-top about the whole situation, but you couldn’t deny it—Glinda’s flirting was kind of entertaining, in a way. And in some strange way, it was oddly… fun. But there was also something else there, hidden behind her words, a warmth that was starting to feel less like playful teasing and more like something real.
As Glinda continued to talk, there was a subtle change in her energy. She was still being her usual dramatic self, but there was something deeper in the way she was looking at you. Her teasing smile softened, and her voice became quieter, more genuine.
“Seriously though,” Glinda said, her gaze lingering on you for a moment before glancing at Elphaba, “you two are different. You’re like… a breath of fresh air. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s kind of… refreshing.” She smiled softly, a rare moment of vulnerability breaking through her usual bubbly demeanor.
You were taken aback by her sudden shift, unsure of how to respond, but there was a softness in her tone that made you feel like maybe there was more to her flirtations than you realized. And then, just as quickly as it had come, her flirtatious nature returned, almost like a defense mechanism.
“You two are lucky I’m not making more moves,” Glinda said, winking. “Otherwise, I’d be trouble. You’d never escape me.”
But this time, her teasing didn’t feel like a joke. There was something in the way she looked at you, and something in the way her eyes briefly flicked over to Elphaba, that made you realize that maybe, just maybe, there was more than just flirtation here.
You glanced at Elphaba, noticing the way she had become more still, her eyes focused on her book again but her attention clearly elsewhere. There was a strange tension in the air, like something was hanging between the three of you, unspoken but very much present.
And then, for the first time in a while, you caught Elphaba’s gaze—just for a brief moment—but it felt like more. It wasn’t just the usual friendly glance. It was like she was considering something, feeling something, and so were you.
“Alright, alright,” you said, standing up and trying to shake off the awkward tension. “Let’s just enjoy the quiet for a second, huh?”
Elphaba nodded, clearly still processing everything that had been said. But as the silence stretched on, you noticed her stealing a glance at you every now and then, her usual guarded demeanor slipping just a little.
The night had fallen quiet, the fire in the hearth crackling softly as the three of you sat in the common room. Glinda had slipped into one of her more reflective moods, no longer speaking in her usual dramatic tones. She was sitting cross-legged on the couch, a rare moment of silence surrounding her. You and Elphaba had been talking about trivial matters at first, but it wasn’t long before the conversation began to slow, leaving a heavy stillness in the air.
You couldn’t shake the feeling that something was different—more real—between the three of you now. All of the teasing, the laughter, the flirtations, had led to something unspoken, something that was sitting just beneath the surface, begging to be addressed.
Glinda was the first to break the silence, her voice soft and uncharacteristically serious.
“Do you ever feel like you’re too much?” she asked, looking at both of you. “Like… like you’re pushing everyone away without even meaning to?”
You glanced over at Elphaba, but it was Glinda’s vulnerability that caught you off guard. You didn’t expect her to speak like this, not after all the playful flirting and teasing. The sudden shift in tone left you feeling a little exposed, like she was finally letting down the walls she’d been hiding behind.
Elphaba was quiet, her lips pressed together in contemplation. You could tell she wasn’t sure how to respond to that either, but the vulnerability in Glinda’s voice seemed to make her rethink her usual sarcasm. She shifted a little on the couch, leaning back against the cushions.
“You’re not too much, Glinda,” Elphaba said softly, her voice calmer than usual. “You’re just… honest. Even if it’s wrapped up in jokes and teasing, it’s real.” She glanced at you, and you could feel the unspoken words hanging between you.
You took a deep breath, your heart racing as you finally met Glinda’s gaze. “You know,” you began slowly, “it’s not always about the jokes. Sometimes, the things we say… they actually mean something.” You hesitated, the weight of your own words hitting you harder than you expected. “And I think—”
Glinda’s eyes flicked between you and Elphaba, a sudden realization flashing across her face. “Oh,” she said softly, her voice quieter than before. “So, we’re all just… pretending, huh?”
Your heart skipped a beat. Glinda’s smile faltered for a second, and it was then that you realized how much she truly cared—about you, about Elphaba, about everything. The flirting had never been just for fun; it was her way of masking something deeper, something she had been too afraid to confront.
“I’m not pretending,” you said firmly, taking a step closer. “I think we all know by now that… there’s something between us. Something more than just… whatever we’ve been calling it.”
Glinda’s eyes softened, her usual confident demeanor wavering as she processed your words. And then, finally, Elphaba spoke.
“I’m not good at this kind of thing,” Elphaba said, her voice low and a little unsure. “But I’m not pretending either.” She turned to you, her eyes lingering for just a moment before meeting Glinda’s. “There’s something here. And I think we’ve all been trying to avoid it for too long.”
The words hung in the air like a delicate thread, pulling all of you closer together.
Glinda’s eyes met yours again, and for the first time, you saw the vulnerability behind her teasing. She bit her lip, as if unsure whether to speak her heart. But then, with a deep breath, she said the one thing that made everything click.
“I think… I think I’m in love with you,” Glinda said, her voice barely above a whisper, but the weight of it was undeniable.
You blinked, shocked by the sudden declaration, but as you looked at her, you realized that it wasn’t just a flirtation anymore. This was real. The way her eyes shone with something deeper, something more serious. And in that moment, you realized that you were falling for her too.
“I—” you began, unsure of how to respond, but then Elphaba spoke, her voice steady but full of something raw.
“I’m not going to pretend that I haven’t been feeling the same,” Elphaba said, her eyes unwavering. “I don’t know what this is—what any of this means—but I know that I care about you.” She turned to Glinda, her voice softer now. “And I care about you too, Glinda.”
The room seemed to still as the three of you stood there, unsure of where to go next. The words were out in the open now, hanging in the air, and all you could do was let the silence settle around you.
Glinda’s gaze flicked between you and Elphaba, her lips trembling as she spoke again, this time with a little more certainty.
“Maybe… we don’t need to have all the answers right now,” she said, her voice quieter than before. “Maybe it’s okay just to… feel this. Whatever this is.”
You nodded, your heart still racing as you stepped closer to both of them. “Yeah. Maybe it’s enough just to feel it.”
For a long moment, the three of you simply stood there, the weight of everything that had been left unsaid finally coming to the surface. And in that quiet, uncertain moment, you realized that none of you had to be afraid of what was happening. Maybe the truth was messy, but it was real, and it was yours.
And for the first time in a long while, you felt like you were exactly where you were supposed to be.
The silence stretched between the three of you, heavy and thick, like the calm before a storm. The confession had left you all exposed in ways you hadn’t been before. But for some reason, the tension felt comforting rather than awkward, as though the raw honesty between you and Elphaba and Glinda had created a new kind of connection.
You could hear your heart pounding in your chest, a rhythm that echoed through the space. It wasn’t just the lingering weight of the words spoken—it was the feeling of being on the edge of something new, something that had the potential to change everything.
Glinda was the first to break the silence, but her voice was quieter now, softer. Her usual confident, flirtatious tone had been replaced with something more genuine. “So… we’re really doing this, huh?” Her smile was faint, but there was something in her eyes that made you want to step closer.
You nodded, your voice low as you met her gaze. “Yeah… I think we are.”
Elphaba stood beside you, her arms crossed over her chest as she observed the two of you. There was a quiet understanding in her eyes, and for a moment, you wondered if she was thinking about how all of this had come to be—how you had all been strangers, then friends, and now… something more.
And then, before you could overthink it, Glinda stepped closer to you, her breath catching slightly as she tilted her head. The look in her eyes was intense, but there was something hesitant in her movements—like she was still unsure if she should close the gap that was growing between the three of you.
Without thinking, you reached out, your hand brushing hers. It was a small touch, but it sent a shock of warmth through you. She looked down at your hand, then back up at your face, her expression softening.
“I… I’ve never done this before,” Glinda admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’ve never… felt like this. Not for anyone.”
You didn’t need to say anything in return. You just moved closer, a part of you knowing what was about to happen. And as you stood in front of her, you felt Elphaba’s presence beside you—her steady gaze, her warmth, her unspoken approval. It was as if everything had aligned in this one moment.
Glinda reached up, her fingers brushing against your cheek before she hesitated, searching your eyes. “Are you sure?” she asked softly, her lips only inches away.
You nodded, the closeness between the three of you too electric to ignore. Without waiting any longer, you closed the gap, your lips meeting hers in a soft, tentative kiss. It was slow at first, a gentle exploration of emotions that had been building for so long. You felt the weight of everything that had led to this moment, and in that kiss, you knew that this was the beginning of something new, something beautiful.
But then, as the kiss deepened, you felt another warmth press against your side—Elphaba. You’d almost forgotten she was there, but the moment she moved closer, her hand finding your wrist, you realized that it wasn’t just between you and Glinda anymore. It was between the three of you.
You didn’t pull away from Glinda as you turned your head, your lips now meeting Elphaba’s in a kiss that was both fiery and soft, full of everything that had been unsaid between you for so long. The sensation of two pairs of lips on yours sent a rush of emotions through you—an intoxicating mixture of longing, tenderness, and the realization that this was exactly where you were meant to be.
The kiss was electric—full of unspoken promises and the weight of everything that had been simmering beneath the surface. It wasn’t rushed, but it wasn’t without urgency, either. It was a kiss that spoke volumes without saying a word.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and wide-eyed, you saw the same mixture of wonder and uncertainty reflected in both Glinda’s and Elphaba’s eyes. It wasn’t a perfect moment, but it was real—and for the first time, none of you were afraid to admit that.
Glinda gave a soft laugh, her lips curling into a smile that was equal parts shy and confident. “Well… that was unexpected.”
Elphaba, who had been quiet since the kiss, finally let out a breath, her face flushed. “I guess we’re not pretending anymore,” she said, her voice still slightly unsteady.
You smiled, feeling your heart race as you stood there, between them, realizing that this was just the beginning of something completely new. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t easy. But it was yours.
“Not pretending,” you agreed, your hand finding Elphaba’s, and then Glinda’s. You stood there for a moment, feeling the weight of the night settle in your bones. Whatever this was, you were ready to face it—with them, together.

— After going to Ozdust together, Fiyero Tigelaar suggests a night of skinny dipping 。𖦹°‧
Tumblr media
Exhilaration rushed through your veins, the pumping of your heart thumping so loud you could barely hear his voice over it.
Throughout Shiz you were known as popular, so it wasn’t a complete surprise when Fiyero had asked you to Ozdust. The night had gone well, dancing and chatting. Learning a little more about the Winkie Prince.
Your eyes darted out to the sparkling sea as he draped your dress over a nearby rock, careful not to get it wet or wrinkled. A frigid chill shot up your spine as a light breeze sifted through the air. The wind caused you to hug yourself, covering the majority of your exposed chest.
You felt more comfortable this way. A small barrier of privacy that discreetly hid yourself away from his flirty gaze. The feel of his warm hands on your bare waist caused you to tense again, shoulders hiked up just a smidge more. ‘Relax,’ His voice took on a deep, quieter tone. His hands skimmed lightly up and down your sides, dancing over your vulnerable skin with tender strokes. ‘This is supposed to be fun.’
Your shoulders slowly lowered into a lazy posture, eyes closing as you felt his warmth behind you. Holding you. Skinny dipping was not typically your idea of fun, (especially not after something like Ozdust) but because of circumstances and the fear of not seeming exciting enough to Fiyero, you decided you’d give it a try.
You took a few steps forward, night air running gently through your hair. He let his hands drop back to his side, moving one to undo the pretty buttons on his cuffed sleeve. You busied yourself with a toe slightly dipped into the frigid water. ‘How is this fun again?’ You asked absentmindedly, recoiling from the electric shock that ran up your back at the feeling of cold water.
‘Well,’ He sighed from somewhere in the distance behind you. You didn’t bother looking back, instead watching the rhythmic waves brush against the shore. Slowly, you familiarized yourself with the ice cold liquid, letting it lap at your ankles as you stood facing the humming waters. ‘You’re nervous?’ He asked, a nonchalant shrug hunching his shoulders.
A slight hum left you. Of course you were, why wouldn’t you be nervous about something like this. You kept silent for a second more though, until a small; ‘Yes.’ left your parted lips. You could practically see the smirk on his handsome lips even though you stood with your back turned to him.
‘That’s what makes it fun for you. Nerve wracking, hm? Overwhelming. Arousing even.’ He murmured in your ears, presence suddenly surrounding your form once again. His breath was hot on your neck as he continued. ‘Makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Very fun.’ The insistence left him smoothly, voice rasped with mischief.
His large hands tightened on your waist, lifting your weight with flexing biceps. You immediately protested as he carried you farther into the water. Halfheartedly pushing against his broad, bare shoulders. When your feet suddenly couldn’t find firm ground to stand on anymore, your pushing turned into clinging. Willing, if not insisting, to be held up by the cocky prince.
‘Trying to leave your mark?’ He commented. It was only then that you stopped your initial subconscious clawing into his back. You shifted to hold onto him with your palms as to not scratch at his skin anymore, but you wouldn’t have been surprised if he had liked the feeling.
Your eyes darted to watch his side profile, the crescent moon shining a beautiful white cast of light glimmering in his dark eyes and sheering luster upon his glossy lips. Hesitantly you loosened your grip, floating against him within the lulling water. ‘Sorry, didn’t mean to.’ Your finger traced the small scares you had made on his effortless skin, a small attempt at comfort, or maybe it was another excuse to touch him. You weren’t sure.
The smirk never left his face, nor did his hands ever fully leave your waist. ‘You’re not nervous.’ You observed, jumping onto the previous words. You could imagine the prince doing many things, but ‘being nervous’ was not one of them.
‘Nervous, no.’ He shook his head gently. ‘Should I be?’ You watched the small indent on his left cheek pop out as another smile grazed his lips. The water lapped up at the bare skin of your lower back, chilling your bones further. A trivial blow of breeze only made your teeth chatter.
‘Well, you said being nervous is what makes this fun. If you’re not overwhelmed, how is this fun for you?’ You quivered out as he continued moving farther out into the murky water.
His head tilted slightly to the side, like a confused canine, eyes looking you up and down subtly. ‘Are you cold?’ He changed the subject at the sound of your clacking teeth. His dark brow raised teasingly. The stars continued to twinkle up in the cloud hazed sky.
‘Aw, you noticed.’ You snarked, now it was your turn to smirk. ‘It’s hard not to when you’re shivering against me like that.’ He snarked back. His face leaned in a little closer, nose bumping gently against the slope of your neck. ‘I can warm you up.’
‘You wouldn’t need to if you hadn’t dragged us out here to do this in the freezing cold.’ Your body eased in the water. Though you could barely feel your toes, you could at least stop your teeth from their chatters.
This peace between you and the water was short lasting. ‘You wouldn’t be cold if you hadn’t agreed.’ He splashed some water up on you. It was only a little, but it was enough to make you shriek and clamp onto him tighter, nails wedged into his skin once again.
The frigid ice-like water stung sharply at your slick skin, goosebumps running up and down your arms. Eyes squeezed shut. ‘You are a bastard.’ You growled, only to earn an amused laugh from him.
‘If I’m a bastard, why did you agree to do this with me? Better yet, why’d you go to the ball with me in the first place?’ He grinned, eyes glancing down into yours.
‘Well, if this isn’t thrilling and fun for you—why did you suggest we come here?’ You tilted your head matter of factly, lashes batting comically. He quieted with a nod of his head as if to say; touché.
‘Y’know, that’s a good question.’ He jabbered teasingly under murmured breath. ‘I know it’s a good question, that’s why I want you to answer it.’ You mimicked his tone.
‘Maybe it’s an excuse to have a pretty thing like you in my arms with less than enough clothing on. Ever think of that?’ He proposed easily.
The answer shouldn’t have surprised you, but the words did leave you slightly gobsmacked. Embarrassed, admired, flattered even. ‘Hm. You could’ve accomplished that in more comfortable, less freezing ways, you know.’
‘Yeah? Let’s go try that then.’

Cynthia x Fem! Reader
You’ve had a crush on your dear childhood friend Cynthia for as long as you can remember. Facing against each other as champions reminds you of that fact.
SO, I know the Masters 8 thing from the anime was a part of gen 8, but I’ve decided to make reader a champion in Paldea, kind of representing the region on Geeta’s behalf, in place of Alain. Lumiose Conference or whatever my ass.
Tumblr media
Looking back, you were always meek as a child. A little shy, a little nervous when talking or the center of attention, a little shaky when issuing your pokemon commands. Not that it mattered, not when you always had your dear Cynthia to rely on. The young girl you had met in your mutual, sleepy home of Celestic Town.
Maybe she wasn’t as good as you remember her being at the time, not with her current level of strength, but as kids she always seemed so, so… confident. Unstoppable. And maybe that really is just your nostalgic, crush-induced rose-tinted glasses talking, but that’s how you saw her.
You always believed she could be champion. More than that. Perhaps even the best in the world. Something other’s didn’t believe at the time. Who would have thought that some spunky ten year old from a backwater town and nothing but a bumbling Gible at her side would become such an unbelievable powerhouse?
But you knew, even way back when. Even before either of you had your first pokemon, you knew she was destined for something great. Not just because of some implicit skill or natural born talent, but because of her unrelenting determination and resolve. A feeling that only solidified in the depths of your heart the day she ran up to you, announcing the hatching of the egg she was entrusted with.
You had begun your journeys side by side, vowing to journey across the region, collecting gym badges, and becoming champions together. And yeah, maybe there can only be one champion of the region, but neither of you cared about that. You were young, full of joy and excitement and energy. Gible by her side, Swablu by your own.
It was apparent to everyone that she was stronger than you. Her team and battle prowess were higher, her confidence soaring high above your own. Not that you cared. Well, okay, that’s a lie. It did bother you a little, admittedly, but in the way that spurred you on to be stronger. Be better. The kind that made you work towards her in the race to the finish line. You weren’t a sore loser, she wasn’t a sore winner, you both worked to make the other stronger.
But by the time you both managed to collect each and every one of Sinnoh’s gym badges, your interest in becoming the region’s champion waned. Not that you didn’t want to try, but because you knew that, even if you did try you would surely lose to Cynthia. Her radiant confidence, her cool and collected nature, her dazzling smile…
Yes, you had feelings for her. Major ones at that. Ones that obviously stemmed all the way back to your childhood. It was apparent to everyone in your old hometown. The way you followed behind her like a lost Shinx, the way that you were hooked on her every word, the way heat crawled up your face and traveled through every inch of your body whenever she smiled or laughed or did… much of anything, honestly.
As kids, though, neither of you cared all that much. Romance and kissing were icky to you both, things that adults did that you would stick your tongues out at. That didn’t stop your parents from teasing you about getting married to her one day, or her grandmother from jokingly calling you her granddaughter-in-law.
When you went on a journey together, those feelings only grew stronger. You wanted so desperately to hold her hand, to huddle together for warmth when camping out under the stars, to kiss her softly and all of that other mushy stuff you once found gross. If kissing her would give you cooties, you would embrace them with open arms.
You knew it was obvious, or maybe it wasn’t. Maybe it felt like it was due to everyone at home knowing. Regardless, you felt hopeless. Did Cynthia feel the same? Did she catch on to the feelings you’ve harbored since you were kids and was just too nice to say anything about it? Was she too dense to notice? Did she even care about romance? You didn’t know. You didn’t want to find out. You’d rather keep her as a friend than ruin things when confessing.
Pinning for her was enough for you.
Unfortunately, some time after your journey for badges concluded, you had to deliver to her awful news. Your family was moving to another region, to Paldea, to a place where she wouldn’t be with you. You stewed on telling her for a few days. Even if she didn’t share your feelings, you were still her friend, her best friend. Losing you was going to hurt. Your Altaria, who had long since evolved from the small, clumsy Swablu you once knew, was there for comfort, at least.
Cynthia quickly noticed something was up, you told each other everything (most things, anyways), and she could tell something was weighing on your mind. And, as expected, she was devastated upon learning the news.
The last day in Sinnoh, the two of you spent together. Going on a trip down memory lane, visiting your favorite spots, returning the places you caught each of your pokemon… She hugged you tightly at the end of the day, whispering softly into your hair about how much she would miss you. You wanted desperately for her to confess some feelings, to reveal that she too was so desperately in love, but it never came. You left early the next morning, sharing one last hug, her vowing to get even stronger and become champion, just for you.
Letters were sent back and forth, turning into texts and calls as you got older. Even if it wasn’t in person, you still talked and chatted and told each other as much as you could. It wasn’t the same, but it was something, enough to keep her in your life. Enough to keep the flame in your heart alive.
That’s why you went out on another journey, determined to collect another set of badges, to become the champion, and to stand on even footing with her. Your resolve was only bolded when you watched her become the new champion of Sinnoh. From behind the TV screen, of course. Her and that Garchomp, the sweet yet mighty dragon you watched grow stronger and stronger each day alongside her beautiful and capable trainer…
Unlike other regions, there was no tournament for the top spot, instead having a title, a class, just for people capable of defeating Paldea’s strongest. La Primera gave you lots of trouble, but your team was strong, much stronger than when you first arrived in the region, and you couldn’t back down from the challenge. If you lost to her, how could you ever beat your Cynthia?
The phone call you had after the fight with her was one of the most exciting calls you’ve ever had, loudly and happily proclaiming your victory, and she couldn’t be more happy for you. Even if you weren’t on her level at the time, Cynthia knew you were strong as well, and she believed in you just as much as you did in her. If being champion didn’t keep her so busy, she would have been here with you, to celebrate your accomplishment in person..
So when she heard you would be in the Masters 8 tournament to represent your new home, she knew she had to be there. To see you in person for the first time in years. To see just how strong you had become. And, right now, staring at you from across the field, tension high and adrenaline higher, the wait to see you was worth it.
“You’ve changed so much since we’ve last seen each other… but I have no intention of losing here.”
God, even her voice alone was enough to make your heart want to explode.
For you, the current moment was exciting and also terrifying. You had longed for this kind of moment for years, For over a decade at this point, and it was finally happening. A chance to show the woman you’ve pinned for for years just how strong you could be. Your fights with Steven and Iris before were incredible challenges of strength and skill, but neither had such intense feelings on the line.
“I, uh. I don’t intend on losing either!”
Not your finest moment. Not very cool sounding. You couldn’t care less about the hundreds of thousands of people watching, the idea of looking uncool in front of Cynthia made your nerves spike, but the angelic, albeit small laugh that fell from her lips as a result of your words might have made it worth it-
No. no time to think like that. You couldn’t be distracted by her marvelous presence when so much was on the line.
And so, you both exchanged words as your pokemon began exchanging blows, praising each other’s strategies and throwing in bits and pieces of trash talk to please the crowd every now and then. Not that pleasing the crowd was even on your mind, not much was, honestly. You were so focused on the battle and Cynthia that your mind circled around to being filled with white noise.
In the end, it was mutual destruction. You were both left with your last pokemon, both left with your starters, with no gimmicks at your disposal. Her Garchomp and your Altaria clashed against one another, each move kicking up dust and debris from the battlefield, until the two rammed into each other with the remainder of their energy.
Both of them were done for, but Altaria fell before Garchomp, who followed almost immediately after. A photo finish, a battle that came right down to the wire. A battle that proved you were evenly matched. Coming this far only to lose hurt, sure, but knowing that you were as strong as Cynthia filled that wound and more.
The blaring noise of the commentators and crowd were a blur for you, and likely Cynthia, too. You had knelt down next to your fallen companion, thanking her for all of her work, praising her for pushing it to the limit, and returning her to her ball for a well deserved rest. Cynthia was right in front of you when you looked up, smiling and extending a hand.
Your breath hitches as she pulls you back up on your feet, the feeling of her lovely soft hand making your tired mind nearly short circuit. Unfortunately, she retracts her hand, only to place it on the back of your shoulder, leading you both off of the battlefield into the privacy of the hall between the public eye and back rooms.
“You were incredible out there.”
Her tone is gentle, and probably would have been quieter if it weren’t for the echoes of the roaring crowd from outside.
“Me? Oh, you were the real star! You… you won, after all!”
“You’ve always been too modest. You drove me against the wall back there, not to mention the other trainers you championed over before me.”
You scratch the back of your neck, stumbling through your words, mumbling out a quick thanks. Embarrassed, but oh so warm on the inside. A silence came over you both, not an uncomfortable one, per say, but one underlined with tension, as if neither of you knew what to say. Unsure of where to start.
“You know, it’s been so long since we’ve seen each other. There’s a cafe around here that we could go to-”
“I’m in love with you.”
The words barrel out of your mouth before you could stop them. The pounding in your chest was too intense to ignore. Years of built up feelings finally boiling up to the surface.
“I’m… come again?”
Her cheeks were painted an adorable baby pink, for once in her life unsure of what to say.
“I… I love you. I think I always have, and I just… I don’t think I can stand it anymore. Knowing that I’ve finally caught up to you, that I could almost beat you back there, it… I just can’t hold back anymore”
You shut your eyes tightly. Even if her expression was so lovely and perfect and one you wanted to burn into your eyes to cherish for forever and ever, you couldn’t bear to see it potentially distort into rejection. The constant thump thump thump of your heart was deafening, filling your ears, overtaking the sounds of the cheering crowd, of the outside world. Her hand on your shoulder tightens slightly as she utters out your name, the syllables falling off her slips sounding like the sweetest song in your mind.
“I’m… I’m flattered.”
“You don’t have to soften the b-blow. Just say you don’t feel the same if you have toI… we can still be friends.”
Your shoulders slump ever so slightly, trying your absolute hardest to keep yourself together.
“That’s not it.”
“It… it’s not?”
Opening your eyes, you see the sickeningly sweet smile on her face, eyes pooling with warmth and crinkling. So sweet and genuine.
“You’ve worked so hard to get here today, I don’t need you to tell me to know. I’ve always known you were strong, seeing you so full of confidence was so wonderful, so…”
“So..?”
“Attractive.”
“Oh! Um, haha… That means a lot. From you.”
Your string of babbling is cute off by her laugh, soft hand leaving your shoulder and instead landing on your cheek, caressing it softly.
“How about we just take things slow for now, alright? Go out once all of the celebration ends and see how things go?”
“That… I’d love that. A lot.”
“Perfect. Oh, I just know you’ll love the place I have in mind. It has some of the best ice cream I’ve had in my whole life. You can get as much as you want, my treat.”
“It’s a date then! A.. a date.”
You can’t help the giddy smile on your face, or the fit of giggles bubbling in your chest, or the way your mind runs in circles because you’re getting the chance to be with the woman who’s been on your mind since you were a child. Her own smile brightens even further, patting your cheek before once again taking your hand in hers, walking through the rest of the hall.
“My heart has been desperate to claw its way out of my chest to engrave itself next to your own for years.”
“Hmm? I didn’t quite catch that.” “Oh, it’s, uh… nothing. Nothing at all.”
You can take it slow for now. Keep all of the feelings and thoughts in your heart contained for just  a little bit longer, knowing that you could bare your soul for her to see in full one day. For now, a simple date was all you could ever ask for.

Ya know my older brother keeps talking about how scary Shadow Milk Cookie is, pulling some Mysterio-type levels of insane illusions on Pure Vanilla Cookie
Let’s see how “scary” he is once he enters the wrong house in Undella Town
