Climate changes, global warming, and risky urbanisation, ruining our plains.

Sewage and drainage, my city’s eternal worry,

Yet, we fantasize lake view apartments strangely.

Our summers lasting very longer,

scarcity of water continuously growing stronger.

Despite the trouble our pouring season brings,

We look forward for this, like a bird with new wings.

As the first drop of rain befalls,

We await to embrace it with standard protocols.

Warm tea and pastries, deep fried comforting savouries,

Cosiness and cuddles, mesmerising musical bliss reverberating balconies.

The moist in the air, leaves with fresh green wear,

Chill breezy travels, with colourful umbrellas our roads flare.

With the everlasting rhythm of water ripples,

We sign off every year, blissfully our Christmas jingles.
