A new market cycle that is industry-specific and not universal across all market segments can be brought on by new technology or regulatory changes.

The term "business cycle forecasting" describes the methods and tools used to anticipate changes in the business cycle, notably at the beginning of recessions. Let's see about the market cycle and its phases below:

What is the Market cycle?

The market cycle is a term used to describe economic trends seen in many commercial settings. When certain securities belonging to the same class of assets do better than others, it is also known as a stock market cycle.

It can be because the securities underlying the business model allow for growth under the current market conditions.

Phases:

The four phases of a market cycle involve securities responding to different market conditions. They are:

Accumulation Phase:

Early buyers include business insiders, value investors, and people who obtained capital during the collapse.

Prices are attractive, but caution is still present, and the attitude is still negative. Some have given up and accepted losses, and the media still covers the last slump.

Markup Phase:

The markup phase is characterized by a rise in market volumes, rising valuations, and a selling climax due to the participation of fence-sitters and risk-averse investors.

Market sentiment switches from neutral to bullish or euphoric, with a last parabolic price rise due to fence-sitters. Non-linear indicators significantly streamline and enhance the quality of traders' jobs.

Distribution Phase:

The third stage of the market cycle, known as the distribution phase, is when traders start to sell securities, and the outlook for the market shifts from bullish to mix.

  Prices remain constant over several months but may accelerate due to negative geopolitical or economic news.

Mark-down phase:

The mark-down phase is the final phase of a market cycle, where security prices fall below what investors originally paid for them. It also signals the start of the subsequent accumulation phase.

As cycle analysis turns more bearish, investors start to exit their positions and lock in profits, increasing the existing selling pressure.

Communities are starting argue about financial resources with other communities. Instead of competing, it might be wiser to intermingle instead and realize they have the same needs and they both deserve the same investment and fight for better resources and treatment together.

Some communities are debating over how the resources given to them should be used. Watch for lack mindsets within the groups you are a part of trying to dominate financial conversations.

There's an energy here on how to balance your resources that you invest in others. In romance and friendships, there is a lesson on learning how much to invest in a friend vs a romantic relationship that is casual vs serious relationships that are serious (also includes married people). Learn how much money to save for each case as you learn to rebalance your new life and as you add new bonds to rebirth your social network. Watch for jealousy of romantic partners towards friends or friends to romantic partners (especially new bonds). Don't attack or put down someone with jealousy or be harsh on yourself for feeling it. It can happen, but you need a safe place and way to express it to those involved. There is a lesson here not to forget self-love practices if you are the one experiencing jealousy. There needs to be a balance here.

Pluto in aquarius is a reminder that social circles are changing and to watch out for some of the darker feelings out there as you go to changes. Be prepared to experience them and expose them in a therapeutic way to get control over the situation asap. Take advantage of pisces energy to provide yourself therapy and self reflection and to practice empathy with those needing guidance when you have experience with them. Watch for those who refuse to do the same behaviors to manage these energies.

Take your time bonding again. No rushing. Some may still need to clean their circle up. No manipulative, abusive, or creepy friends.

HB1421 is a bill that severely affects access to gender affirming care, including for adults. It outlines goals to:

1) Prohibit changing gender markers on birth certificates

2) Require that gender affirming care only come from physicians (not nurse practioners) who take on liability insurance for 30 YEARS after they provide care to a patient

3) Require informed consent forms at every single appointment, including distributing literature to dissuade patients

4) Ban transition care completely for minors

5) Make it so providers who accept state funds cannot provide gender affirming services (this is the big one that stands to affect anyone who takes medicare/aid, is a university, etc.).

6) Make it so providers who accept state funds cannot reimburse for gender affirming services.

We are facing a return to the Harry Benjamin days, or worse, an effective ban unless you are fortunate/wealthy enough to find a willing provider.

If it passes, this bill would take effect July 1, 2023. That is not a lot of time.

I would not count on any Rx or refill request to be honored after this date if the prescribing and dispensing sources no longer are allowed to grant care or decide to drop care because of the penalties.

July 1, 2023. Unless we hear otherwise, that is your clock.

This sucks, but there is comfort in seeing a clear date to plan around and the worst case is no longer completely unknown. It begins July 1.

YOUR HOMEWORK, DUE ASAP:

1) Get any and all your HRT appointments in now, including picking up your meds and doing bloodwork promptly.

2) If you think you will be living in FL come July, start looking now for providers where physicians - not NPs - provide the care. Get an appointment on the books for July. Be prepared to go in person for everything after July 1, because I believe telemed will also be shit-canned. Here is a map of informed consent providers.

3) If you are an old like me, also dig up your HRT permission slip from your therapist. Fuck, make a packet of all your transition documents, including Rx history.

4) If you are on private insurance, start budgeting now to prepare to pay out of pocket.

5) Create a simple spreadsheet of all your HRT dates (pls forgive, my experience is with shots on a 2 week cycle, so this is pretty easy for me to do) and plan out how long your current supply will last. Then, forecast how long all your upcoming refills before July 1 will last. Update it every time you pick up and take your meds. Refer to it for decisions like moving or finding backup providers.

6) Subscribe to the bill to get notified of changes asap

7) Follow this site to keep tabs on other very scary bills happening in Florida, including a bathroom ban and a child custody bill that is effectively kidnapping

8) If you need to change your birth certificate, do it now, pay the rush fees and write RUSH on the envelope. The Department of Health has the most up-to-date forms. Processing time for rush I last saw was around 18 business days.

9) Now that your own oxygen mask is on, so they say, boost mutual aid and recruit allies to assist in any way possible.

Do try to continue seeing your current provider as long as possible, as they likely will need your support. Talk to them frankly about their plans if the bill passes.

Now. I am just a little guy and not a legal expert, but the aggressive enactment date on this bill makes me feel like everyone should plan now instead of waiting to see if it passes.
