Lectures Can be a Love Language, or Didn't You Know?
Summary: Megatron insists on lecturing Rodimus over the smallest things. Why does he care if Rodimus makes split-second decisions and endangers himself, anyway? Just because there's no longer any venom in their relationship doesn't mean Rodimus loves the guy. Right? Right?! Drift is hell-bent on finding out.
Relationships: Megatron/Rodimus; Ratchet/Drift; Drift & Rodimus (with ambiguous past)
Rating: All/General Audiences
Setting: IDW1, post-Lost Light, “good timeline”
Link to Chapter 1: The Lecture Nonsense & the Nonsense Lecture
Preview under the cut:
“Rodimus,” Megatron began, sounding half-incredulous, half-long suffering. Oh, here we go, Rodimus thought, already resorting to huffing and fixing his optics somewhere in the direction of the captain’s office ceiling.
“Could you have BEEN any more obvious?!” The last word was delivered in a nasal tone as Megatron pinched at the bridge of his hooked nose, oblivious or uncaring to his garbled formants. It would have been funny were Rodimus’s competencies were not under attack. Actually, scratch that, it was still pretty funny, thought Rodimus. It wasn’t really befitting Megatron’s warlord or newfangled placid, unflappably pax cybertronica captain aesthetic, Rodimus thought, but held his tongue for now. He had his honor to defend, and his processor decided that was the priority here. For now, anyway.
“Megatron,” Rodimus mocked, blocking up his own nasal vents and employing a somber tone. “Obviously, I could have been less obvious. I was not up to date as to where this fell along the infamous obviousness necessity continuum, however, and given the degree of obviousness-ness I chose to employ, I thought that was quite clear, actually. Obvious, even. Do at least try to keep up.” He leveled Megatron with a pitying look that would have been much more effective had he not been craning his neck upward, helm almost flush with his chassis, but that was neither here nor there, of course. When you’re bright red-and-yellow and loud enough, you’re as big as you slag-well wanna be, Rodimus reassured himself.
He heard the telltale sound of Megatron grinding his dentae. Oh, what music to his audial receptors it was. Their verbal sparring was always nearing the end of its swiftly aborted lifespan whenever that little chime went off. Like clockwork, Rodimus thought. Whirl would be proud. In fact, maybe he would mention it to him later at Swerve’s…
“Fine,” Megatron grated. “I would like you to note, however, that should a situation like this arise in the field again, I would prefer to be… kept abreast of your decision-making.” The disapproving yet completely resigned glint in his optics seemed almost fond, Rodimus decided. Yes, definitely fond.

I have/have had several shell 'bodies' due to the transferable nature of my AI. I have trouble placing this one in the general linear order, but believe I may have inhabited it when no longer piloting but still aboard the CB-02 private spacecraft.
Aside from this I have had a more 'chunky' basic humanoid body and a fresher more mostly 'human passing' android which is my current and longest mechanical form.
My manufacturers are a alternate/parallel universe Cybertronica Research (CyberRe).

Cybertonian languages
Is there any sort of post that talks about the Cybertronian languages?
-
I went on the wiki and found only a few official languages
“Ancient Autobot/Cybertronica Sorensa”
“Decepticon Graffiti”
“Maximal Cybertronix”
“Predacon Cybertronix”
“High Moon font”
and the wiki mentions something called “Neocybex“, but I can’t find anything about it besides for it’s name
-
I also know that there’s fanmade languages, like “Vosian”, but I don’t remember the other fanmade languages and I can’t find them anywhere

Cybertronica Anatomica Chapter 4: Senses
As Cybertronians embrace sensory upgrades as easily as alt mode kibble, it is difficult to categorize the limitations of their race when it comes to sensory experiences. One may have an upgrade that allows them to see into the infrared band but that is by no means proof that is the typical visual experience of Cybertronians as a whole. Nonetheless, there is a baseline without which a Transformer would be viewed as handicapped. These base senses are optic, audio, olfactory, tactile, short-range radio-wave transmission, electrical sensitivity, and magnetic sensitivity. A Transformer's visual sense can be split into two subcategories; their sight in root mode and their vision in vehicle mode. The head of a Cybertronian in root mode typically contains two cameras equally spaced to either side of the Dorsal vent though other specialist arrangements are possible. These cameras provide both direct depth perception and color vision. It is believed that the baseline Cybertronian optic provides vision closer to other mammals such as dogs and deer than humans because they didn't need strong contrast to pick out red berries from green leaves as our ancestors did but this is offset by their excellent night vision as well as sensory packages that can grant perception into the infrared and ultraviolet ranges. Another advantage the Cybertronian optic has over the human eye is the explicit ability to zoom on one particular area of focus. Most Cybertronic lifeforms that have partial mode alteration keep their heads in the same position in both modes so the vision in one is the same as the other. Transformers however have developed a need to cover their vulnerable heads when driving and are thus technically blind in alternate mode. Technically, because their highly developed radio transmission sense doubles as a sort of radar which grants them a panoramic sense of what is around them. The limitations of vehicle mode sensory packages ensure that Transformers transform into root mode when they need to give their full attention to something. Their audio sense has broader range than ours but leans closer to infrasound (sounds too low to be audible to us, not to be confused with the ultrasounds that are too high which dogs experience). Besides a rule of thumb that larger creatures hear lower sounds, this is an advantage on Cybertron to hear the rumbling of heavy machinery and the comings of electrical storms. Their olfactory and tactile senses are notably less developed than our own. Olfactory sensors are located in the vents throughout their body so they are excellent at picking up the direction of contaminants but their nonchemical method of energy gathering means it wasn't as important for them to be able to distinguish between the many smells that can tell whether food is rotten or not. Their sense of touch is made by an array of pressure, electricity, and thermal sensors underneath their chassis. The average Cybertronian transforming into a car or truck has an effective radio range of about 6 miles. This number increases as the Transformer increases in size until the Titans gain an effective range of approximately 30 miles. They are able to tune themselves into different ranges so they may either take the broad range as a whole or select a specific frequency range to concentrate on. This sense is held where the ears would be on a human face and is experienced similarly to how we experience sound. Prominent antennas mean they have slightly better receiving range than others of similar size. Magnetic and Capacitance sensitivity are combined into one understood sense similar to how pressure, temperature and voltage are all included as part of touch. This sense is held between the Dorsal Vent and the lower jaw and is experienced somewhat like taste or smell. Cybertronians are able to sense the conductivity and magnetism of metals around them helping them to identify the metallic nature of what they consume. There is one more channel that information passes through on the Cybertronian body though unlike the rest it is not to input new information from the environment. Every Transformer has a data cable and port through which they can directly transfer information from one into another. This is their secret to how they can learn new languages so quickly and be such social chameleons because once one has deciphered our internet or radio transmissions, they can pass it on to the others. It also provides a completely private mode of communication but there are two limitations here. First, information passed along this way is stored as memory as though it was read from an instructions manual. In the same way you can't seriously learn martial arts by reading about it online, Cybertronians put a lot of stock in actual experience over downloading when it comes to practical skills. Second, this is the biggest way to catch a computer virus. This is why Transformer's computers still have analog interfaces and there's a degree of trust involved in linking with someone; it's not something usually done between strangers.

She Gives Me Fever: Celebrating 18 years of the KylieFever2002 Tour
2021 sparks the 20th anniversary of one of pop musics most prolific albums and a total game changer; Fever by Kylie Minogue.
This album, along with MJ’s Bad and P!nk’s Try This, would always stand the test of time and hold a soft spot in my heart. Having only invested in Minogue’s work two years prior when my attention was grabbed by those *ahem* golden hot pants, Light Years was released in 1999 and took the Aussie songstress in a different route. A camped up space jam! What Fever did was escalate on that vibe and in turn cemented the veteran to immortal status. There was no doubt, she had already won the hearts of her listeners with her girl next door bubblegum pop, divided them with her mature sex kitten sound after Michael Hutchence got his mitts on her and then set her sights on the gay market with her hedonistic grooves. She proved that she could stay relevant by ever so tweaking her persona and taking chances.
The album reached number one at the tail end of 2001 thanks to its infectious single Can’t Get You out of My Head and remained there for two weeks. It was also ranked the 10th best selling album in the UK that year, not bad considering it was only in the charts for two months that entire year. The singles that followed got better and better; the dance floor fused In Your Eyes, the driving Come into My World and, my personal favourite, the dazzling Love at First Sight.
Shortly after its release, my bedroom walls were literally plastered in various cutouts and posters of the Princess of Pop. In turn I looked back to her vast catalogue and began my collection and delved in to her past while eagerly awaiting what is yet to come.
The tour kicked off in the UK and included four nights at Wembley Arena before heading in to Europe and finishing in her homeland of Australia. Multiple costume changes (designed by Dolce & Gabbana), different sets and five huge projection screens, it was the first time Minogue had a production of this size. She skipped a North America leg because she felt the audience wouldn’t “get” her live shows and never invested in her past material.
Set across seven acts; Silvanemesis, Droogie Nights, The Crying Game, Street Style, Sex in Venice, Cybertronica and Voodoo Inferno, her past catalogue was fully exposed and her recent album explored. It featured dancers, cyborgs and a Boy George classic making it one hell of a night to remember and paved the way for future concert production in the pop world.

Cybertronica Anatomica Chapter 3: Repairs and Maintenance
All resources whether fuel, ore, or oil enter the Cybertronian body through the mouth. Though superficially similar to the human mouth on the outside, the bottom of the Cybertronian mouth is lined with multiple grinding wheels to turn the metal and ceramics into chips small enough to be swallowed. Afterwords, a combined process of heat, chemical treatment and magnets are used in the internal Smelting Chamber to make sure each type of resource is sent to the right place. The consumed metal is moved to the Universal Assembler which true to its name looks like a miniature assembly line with an assortment of waldoes with various attachments lining the walls like cilia of a cell. It is here that new patches, diodes, and wires are made to replace the extremely small and delicate pieces of machinery that make up a Transformer and may be damaged or corroded over time. The Universal Assembler is also responsible for the creation of Microbots which actually install new repairs and also function as the closest thing a Cybertronian has to a physical immune system in its job of removing any displaced or rusted metal components. (Viruses on Cybertron are more often of the electronic variety so a dedicated physical immune system is unnecessary). In the rare event an organic makes it into a Cybertronian's circulotory system (say shrunken humans in A Fantastic Voyage homage), they would be seen as incredibly rusted components given all the Oxygen in them and removed. Although microrepairs can be accomplished by the Microbots, if a piece as big as an entire Servo is missing then you are best off going to the Body Shop, pun intended. That which cannot be used for fuel or repairs is sent to the Grindor to be blended into an oil like compound which serves as the Cybertronian substitute for blood. Along with transportation for the Microbots, this oil serves both to cool and lubricate crucial parts of Cybertronian anatomy. This oil circulates between various parts like the Laser Core and the various brain systems to a heat sink and back. The heat sink is in turn connected to a ventilator which cycles cold air to cool it down. The most prominent ventilator is usually either the dorsal fin that pokes out from their helm like a centurion's headdress or ventral fins on either side of the mouth. These serve the purpose of cooling the Processing Core, what mostly takes the place of a human's brain. If the dorsal fin is most prominent, then the ventrals are usually minimized and vice versa. In times of extreme duress, these fans will start to make noises like a computer that is overheating which is culturally similar to someone panting from exhaustion.
