tfone au where OP is created as the last of the primes but way after them, a sparkling born at what were thought to be the last days of the war against the quintessons, the beginning of a new generation of peace after eons of war. a child meant to be loved and raised knowing nothing of war nor sacrifice.

he's kept mostly out of the spotlight by his siblings, who don't wish to expose him to everyone's optics so young, and want to wait until the war is done and over to properly introduce him to their people.

except of course the primes are betrayed and murdered by sentinel, the war is lost and everyone who knows and cared for the truth is either banished or outright killed in order to suppress it.

and the high guard, the ones the primes trusted the most, the ones that were supposed to protect them, the ones who failed in their most important duty, have to make a choice. to take the last prime, their last hope, with them to the surface, a hostile environment where there's little to no supplies and where they'll be hunted down by both sentinel and the quintessons as the biggest threat to their regimen.

or hide him in plain sight. place him where sentinel won't think to look for him. one more sparkling among many. and hope it will be enough to keep him alive. pray to primus that he'll protect his last child long enough for them to come back for him when it's safer (even if most of them have already lost their faith on him when he allowed the rest of his children to be massacred like that)

they almost lose their resolve when they realize they will have to take the little one's cog away in order to make him blend in with the rest of the newborns (and oh do they burn with murderous intent when they see what sentinel has done to their people but it's not the time yet-) but in the end they decide an impaired little prime is better than a dead one.

and so in the chaos of thirteen dead primes and a sudden energon crisis, a little sparkling who very few mechs really knew about and even fewer had seen completely vanishes. and in the depths of iacon a mech in charge of a new batch of newborns scratches their helm in confusion as they realize they must have miscounted the first time.

optimus prime is quietly erased from any official records by sentinel, written off as dead when they find a sparkling's frame mangled beyond recognition after an attack on the base of those rebels that insist on being a thorn on his side. killing the sparkling hadn't been precisely in his plans, he probably could've found some use for it after all, but he's not particularly upset about it either.

and orion pax grows up with an ache on his spark that tells him he's missing something far more important than a t-cog and dreams of gentle and loving hands, cradling him against the frames of mechs he cannot recall the faces of.

There was a transformers and x files crossover where Optimus Prime and Bumblebee had to go rescue Ratchet from some humans, and then while they were driving away it looked like a shot where they freed and reunited a family of dolphins or something.

So I was thinking what if a really young trio of Orion, Ratchet, and Bumblebee was stranded on earth and they couldn’t communicate with the humans for some reason, the rumors would be so juicy.

Bumblebee is like a 10 year old tagging along for some college kids project that went horribly wrong and not their son that’s going through a bright colored phase

Ratchet and Orion are both mechs, but 90s heteronormative assumptions are pretty strong

Their noises are like, Pokémon game and not Pokémon anime, maybe I’ll make some examples later

Look! I'm still designing Transformers Versions of Danganronpa Characters!!!

Here's Tsumugi, also known as Dramaturge. When I initially came up with her I didn't think too hard about her, mostly just a cool design.

Then I talked to local bestie, and biggest Tsumugi Fan that I personally know, @aparticularbandit and suffice to say-

The uh, concept sketches got a little out of hand and I guess I'm a Tsumugi x Mukuro shipper now??? But only when they're giant robots???? This is new territory for me but I'm living for it tbh. I may or may not try to explore normal Tsumugi x Mukuro art, softer than the scary robot bodyhorror yuri though I promise.

Really thinking I want to try and make the Cybertron AU a decent writing project for myself during 2025. There's still other stuff I want to write as well, but most of them will be shorter (I think?). Look forward to it I guess????

oh and a bonus drawing because I haven't drawn nearly as much of them because of my new obsession.

Little au dratchet here

(More info down below about the au and the situation!)

AU INFO DUMP RAAAAA

So I’ve been calling it “Trilogy Au” because it’s essentially a rewrite of the unicron trilogy shows, Armada, energon and Cybertron. I made them work together more and y’know.. did whatever I wanted with it. I also just made it better (in my opinion) and This specific moment takes place at the start of energon, It’s been ten years since the war ended cause megatron is gone. Drift hadn’t been for a while deadlock and expressed the want to change. When megatron comes back for the cons in the start of energon Some refuse to go with him, Drift was one of them and he subsequently gets fired at.

The “regular” comment is because drift often got attacked or harassed for being a con during the war despite him not wearing the decepticon insignia anymore just some generally asshole people still hate decepticons. And ratchet often ends up treating him.

Also another tidbit of this au is that it is actually not a trilogy, there is an added fourth series about the DJD lmao ❤️

Has anyone really thought about the fact that Bumblebee and Smokescreen pretty much grew up during war? I am sure people have, but have yall really THOUGHT about how that must have fragged them up in the head? It hit me earlier today, but I can imagine that there are just a ton of little things these two do that made perfect sense during the war, but now that the war is over, look really odd.

Bumblebee I imagine was raised to be very conservative with energon use. It was a treasured resource and there was no room for him to be playing around with it meaninglessly. I can see him getting angry at his team, yelling at them about ridiculous energon use as though he were still on the front lines trying to save as much as possible in case of an attack. Smokescreen I think would have been trained to function on minimal amounts of recharge to the point of it being scary for normal bots now that the war is over. Him just wandering around on night patrol, his gaze on the horizon looking for the tell tale signs of seekers or artillery strikes. I bet it freaks Bee's team out a lot.

Also Bumblebee and Smokescreen getting Bee's team playing games that they think are normal and fun, but are NOT in any way either of those. Something like tag but if you get caught you are electrocuted in order to teach you to keep moving. Games where instead of a ball, actual weapons are involved in order to improve reaction time. Random bombing drills made "fun" by songs and marching. Being taught to defuse explosives while working to the equivalent of Cybertronian kahoot music. Not to mention the bedtime stories and legends these poor sparks were told. I 100% believe that Megatron and the Cons were the boogiemen of their early lives.

So many things they see as normal, such as cleaning a weapon as a soothing action instead of, I don't know, going on a walk. Checking the security feed as their version of a break. Doing drills in the morning rather than having any fuel since again, fuel is precious.

So much crap that they think is normal but slowly realize is not and is just their wartime trauma.

I think I will write a fic about it to be honest.
