Okay. Lord. The updates not even fully up but
Andrew. Canonically lost his wings, let's see if they come up with wing enhancements.
Leo has a prosthetic arm, currently represented by an accent but maybe one of these will look better???? The cinnabar one would look SO good with his color scheme
It would actually be really fun to make Vaughn and Bince (evil alternate universe versions of Bonnie and Vince) cyborgs
If they make a green version for suuuuure get Sherman some cybergear
Bedlam! Is a cyborg already! I'm satisfied with his look but hey always down to experiment, the purple ones might look good esp the jaw
Ditto for Linsey, except the purple part and the jaw part
Some of the more vehicle-oriented SSMC members, like Ilux
The NEMESIS crew

Josie glances at her new patient. Rune, eh. "you really got yerself in quite a mess," she comments, smoothing out the blanket she placed atop Rune's body. her Cybergear was powerful, some would even say god-like. but, it took a lot out of her ( and the patient whom it was being used on ). Rune would be feeling wooziness in her limbs, lightheadedness, and so, so cold, as a result of her healing.

"The.. The other guys.. Look w-worse" Rune winces. They just got lucky is all. Hit her with some cheap shots. But it was nothing new. She was used to broken arms and ribs. Lacerations and stab wounds too. She's even been shot more times than needed. As painful as it was, this time they only broke some bones and bruised some organs.

Dubai Is Preparing to Take Its Government to the Metaverse
The Government of Dubai is preparing to make part of its offices available in the metaverse, according to reports. The country is currently seeking third parties to help it arrange the transition of some of its departments to the virtual world, per statements made at a metaverse event by Sharad Agarwal, chief metaverse officer of Cybergear.
Dubai Reportedly Taking Government Functions to the Metaverse
Dubai, an emirate that is part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is reportedly taking some of its government departments into the metaverse, to allow users to perform actions in these facilities in the future. This would be the next step for the country, which has previously presented its Dubai Metaverse Strategy to position this technology as an important part of the future of the emirate. Sharad Agarwal, chief metaverse officer of Cybergear, a Dubai-based metaverse company, talked about this process at a local metaverse-themed event. He stated: We have started getting a lot of inquiries from government departments and ministries to make them Metaverse-enabled. It is just a matter of time before Dubai becomes the crypto and Metaverse hub of the world. However, the construction of these areas and the establishment of their functions will take time. “There is hard work involved, so you need to decide what services you want to offer and business model and then onboard community just like it exists in the physical world,” Agarwal further explained.
Countries Betting on Metaverse & Applications
Dubai has been one of the countries that has put a global plan in place to make the metaverse a profitable industry in the future. The Dubai Metaverse Strategy, a group of directives that aim to make the metaverse contribute 1% to the GDP of the country for 2030, aims to provide 42,000 virtual jobs by that same year. Other countries like South Korea are also investing heavily into developing their own metaverse industry, allocating $177 million for this endeavor. While some fail to see the enticement of the metaverse for Dubai, Agarwal expounded on one of the applications that metaverse tech can have in the future: the real estate market. He declared: Dubai has a huge real estate market. In the future, people will be able to fly like superman to a community, look at the villas and view the villas and also configure the interior decoration to their liking. Once they’re satisfied, they can pay digitally. The virtual asset regulator of the country recently established its operations in the metaverse, being one of the pioneers in this space. What do you think about the government of Dubai establishing a presence in the metaverse? Tell us in the comments section below. Read the full article

2. Most nostalgic game?
Most nostalgic game for me is probably a toss up between Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast, and the TES series as a whole. I got really into the main TES series a bit late, but in the middle of my constant depression, there was fantasy and adveture aplenty, and it helped me feel strong when I was not.Skies of Arcadia was the first true RPG I played, and the music holds a special place in my heart still.
13. Favorite boss?
Funnily enough, my favourite boss is probably Walton Simons from the first Deus Ex. He felt in many ways like the true boss of the game, with his cybergear, weaponry and skills. I dedicated much time to killing him in the most climactic ways, ending in me ultimately having a sword-duel with him, with all my melee combat mods fully activated.

🔥 give me the saltiest salt you got
The saltiest salt I have, hmm.
I don’t trust anyone who makes it their goal to stick to an aesthetic, and I say this as someone with a queue of meticulously chosen photography posts on a blog that posts largely those.
Because here’s the difference. If you stick to just one aesthetic, no matter what, you’re sticking yourself in a box and refusing to go anywhere else. You won’t let yourself explore outside of that. You prune yourself into a pretty, performative shape, and go no further.
Because ultimately, all sticking to an aesthetic 24/7 does is be performative. People are varied, so few of us actually only like one thing. I like futuristic cybergear and fursuits and medieval / Renaissance clothes and steampunk and traditional Harley-style biker gear. Most of those things don’t go well together, and yet, part of being me is meshing them together until they do.
But if you stick to just one aesthetic, you’re refusing what’s probably a good chunk of your personality, and refusing branching out into something else, and for what? An echo chamber? You’re just going to squeeze out all the life from it. And like, who does that server? Either you’re doing it for a sense of self, in which case you probably need more aid than just one aesthetic, or you’re being performative, in which case you need to do the introspection and self-searching and ask yourself why the hell you’re going so far just to please whatever audience you have.
It’s one thing to have like, just a few sideblogs dedicated to different aesthetics because being organized makes you happy. That’s  basically what I do. And my aesthetics, though carefully curated, serve one purpose: jostling my bad as fuck memory into telling me what the fuck was happening in my past lives. That’s how I recall information: I don’t spit it out of nowhere, you have to prompt me. Everything is relational. Everything depends on something else. (This is probably because I did a lot of my current development in a hivemind. Hiveminds be like that.)
Mine also serve the purpose of giving me something to hold onto when I really need reassurance, as a guarantee that everything will make me feel better and there isn’t anything that’ll mess with inducing a shift to calm myself down. It’s not the main purpose, but it was unintended and helps a lot.
But like... Refusing to go past one aesthetic, in everything, and sticking by it? It reeks of performatism and ‘look how perfect I am at following the rules!’ and it just never is genuine. People are more complex than that, and doing it really seems like lying to yourself to please someone. And I’m not about that.
