as much as agatha adores animals, how could she not want to do volunteer work in the local animal shelter in her spare time? just interacting with the adorable creatures was payment enough, so specific times were set up where she could come in and help out. the faerie hums to herself as she parks her car and heads in, heading back toward where she saw a list of things she can do waiting for her. okay, that seems easy enough!

agatha gets to work, glancing up after a while when she hears someone speaking. not just that, but... reciting poetry? she knew she wouldn't be alone here or anything, even that the veterinarian was supposed to drop by to check on the animals, so maybe that was him. agatha sets aside the broom and dustpan and heads over to investigate, seeing the man reading to the animals in their cages. she can't help but smile, leaning against the wall. she doesn't want to disturb or break his concentration, so she just stands there and listens.

Edalina is looking at Julius, sad. it wasn't often that she met a unicorn, for they were just so rare. the faerie queen is gentle, her voice hushed. he looked rather young, and it was raining outside. she moves her umbrella to cover his head. "oh, darlin', what's goin' on? are ya okay?"

"Huh?"

Honestly, he hadn't even noticed it had started to rain just yet. The blonde had been working in the forest that day, helping some stray squirrels out with finding the dens in which they had lost. In the midst of that, he'd ended up crouched beneath a tree, slumped forward as he carefully worked on picking acorns out of a hole in the ground. So, of course to an outsider, it would look like he were in quite a situation.

So the odd moment of kindness simply made him confused for a brief second, the man adjusting his posture to reveal an armful of acorns, with a squirrel chittering somewhere in the trees above.

"I'm quite fine - thank you for asking! I was simply helping a wonderful, wonderful little friend of mine! I didn't realize the skies above had opened though, so I do also thank you for offering some shelter, but it's quite alright, the rain doesn't bother me so badly."

Coralia was dumbfounded, clearly concerned. she glances to the side, lifting the male from beneath his arms. she needed to drag him to safety. she needed to bring him to a healer. Josie. "I know someone who is safe."

Hawks winced as Coralia lifted him, his body aching from the numerous injuries sustained in the battle. Blood matted his feathers, and his usually bright eyes were dim with pain and exhaustion. He managed a weak smile, trying to reassure her despite his condition.

"Coralia," he rasped, a forced smile on his face. "’m fine, just had a rough day. You know how it is."

Keigo coughed, but tried to wave off her concern. "It's nothing, really. Just a villain causing some trouble. But I’m fine, just... tired." He tried to stand a little straighter, though his legs felt like they could give out at any moment. He felt the world spinning around him, the edges of his vision darkening, but he clung to consciousness. He had to stay strong, for Coralia, for everyone counting on them. With a deep sigh, he looked into Coralia's eyes; if she knew someone that could help, then he'd have to trust her. What good would he be if he passed out now?

"Coralia," he murmured her name again, "okay, I trust you."

Edalina appears, holding a bouquet of flowers. she wasn't fully sure what ones her wifey would like, so she chose all of them. different flowers meant different things, and she was rather skilled in the language of flowers. all of them said something along the lines of I love you and I'm devoted to you and I will live for you. "good evenin' mon cherie."

returning home from work, she shrugs off her jacket and hangs it up on one of the hooks on the wall, hanging her keys and bag up beside it. next agatha bends down, unclasping clover's leash and vest, patting the top of her head and giving her a treat. she refills clovers food and water bowl, getting herself something to eat now, specifically leftovers from the night before. she scrolls through her phone as she eats, soon interrupted by the sound of her wife coming into the house. goodness, she doesn't even have to see the big bouquet because she can smell the flowers all the way from the front door to the dining room.

agatha sets her phone down and pushes the container of leftovers aside, getting up to approach edalina. " oh, my love... these are so beautiful. " she sighs, taking the bouquet and admiring every flower in it, unable to help the smile forming on her lips. when she was growing up, her mother taught her the meaning behind flowers and what it would mean to give them to someone. agatha doesn't remember a lot of things from her childhood (thank you trauma and depression), but things like this have stuck with her through the years. it was how she could tell customers what flowers to give to someone depending on the feeling they wished to express.

bending down, she kisses edalina's temple. " i'll get these into a vase and some water and they'll be just perfect on the dining table. "

Josie glances at her new patient. Rune, eh. "you really got yerself in quite a mess," she comments, smoothing out the blanket she placed atop Rune's body. her Cybergear was powerful, some would even say god-like. but, it took a lot out of her ( and the patient whom it was being used on ). Rune would be feeling wooziness in her limbs, lightheadedness, and so, so cold, as a result of her healing.

"The.. The other guys.. Look w-worse" Rune winces. They just got lucky is all. Hit her with some cheap shots. But it was nothing new. She was used to broken arms and ribs. Lacerations and stab wounds too. She's even been shot more times than needed. As painful as it was, this time they only broke some bones and bruised some organs.

Edalina approaches Atieno, wearing sultry lingerie. "hello," she purred, leaning into Atieno's arms. if they wanted her to be more forward, well, she'd be happy to oblige.

The sight of Edalina in some sultry lingerie was enough to have their eyebrows raised. "Well, hello to you too. It's certainly nice to see you again." It was really nice to get a little more of her attention and her company.

They wrapped their arms around her to draw her closer. "You look incredible."
