Supernatural (Dean Winchester x Female!Reader
Metamorphosis
Masterlist
A man, possessed by a demon, sits tied to a chair in the center of a Devil's Trap. Sam is in front of him, interrogating; Ruby stands nearby. "Where's Lilith?" Sam asked the man. "Kiss my ass." The man spat as his eyes goes black. Sam smiles at that comment. "I'd watch myself if I were you." Sam said, threatening.
"Why? Huh? Because you're Sam Winchester, Mr. Big Hero? And yet here you are, slutting around with some demon. Real hero." the man sneered. "Shut your mouth." Sam growls at him. "Tell me about those months without your brother and your friend. About all the things you and this demon bitch do in the dark." The man said as Ruby looks over at Sam. "Huh? Tell me, hero."
Sam can't control his anger and begins to force the demon out of the man. The demon smoke burns through the floor, and Sam breathes, trying to get himself under control. Ruby looks down on the floor where the demon burned through and a little smile plays on her lips. She looks over at Sam, and they exchange a look and Sam gets a little smile as well.
Meanwhile, Dean and (y/n) were at the window behind Sam, witnessing everything Sam just did.
The man is unconcious and Sam touches neck to check if he has a pulse, which he does. He smiles up at Ruby. "How'd it feel?" Ruby asked him. "Good. No more headaches." He said as he begins to untie the man. "None? That's good." Ruby said just as the man begins to wake up.
"Hey, hey. I got you. It's all right." Sam said as he helps the man out of his chair and begins walking him towards the door, when Dean and (y/n) open it. Sam stops in his tracks.
"So...Anything you wanna tell us, Sam?" Dean asked, angrily. Sam looks innocent and Ruby stands behind him, just watching Dean and (y/n). Dean and (y/n) walk towards him. "Guys, hold on, okay? Just let me-" Sam started to say but Dean talks over him.
"You gonna say, let me explain? You're gonna explain this? How about this? Why don't you start with who she is, and what the hell is she doing here?" Dean yelled as they look at him hard, Sam turns back and looks at Ruby who looks completely calm, and even smiles as she responds to Dean.
"It's good to see you two again." she said and Dean and (y/n)'s eyes widen. "Ruby?" they said, shocked, and she smiles a little. Dean and (y/n) look at Sam. "Is that Ruby?" (y/n) asked. Sam doesn't respond and Dean and (y/n) look over at Ruby again, who's smile is fading.
After moment, (y/n) holds up her hand and a force shoves Ruby, pinning her up against the wall. "What the--Don't!" Sam shouts and he goes towards (y/n) but Dean throws him up against the wall. Ruby struggles as she fights out of the hold (y/n) has on her when Sam recovers, knocks Dean aside and tackles (y/n) down, freeing Ruby.
"Stop!" Sam said to (y/n) as Ruby grabs Dean and pins him up against the wall. "Ruby! Stop it!" Sam shouts. She just stares into Dean's eyes and she keeps a chokehold with her right hand, and he stares right back, angry.
Finally she lets go and he rises up to his full height. He and (y/n) look over at Sam and then back at Ruby. CWell, aren't you an obedient little bitch?" Dean sneers as (y/n) gets up to her feet. Ruby doesn't respond but it's clear, she wants to attack him again.
"Ruby." said Sam and she stares at Dean for a few more moments, then looks at (y/n) with curiosity before she looks over at Sam. "Ruby, he's hurt." Sam said as he indicates the man who was possessed earlier. "Go." He orders and she gives Dean and (y/n) one more look and then turns and walks over to the man, puts the mans arm over her shoulder, ready to take him out.
"Where the hell do you think you're going?" (y/n) asked her. "The ER...unless you and your boy toy want to go another round first." Ruby sneered. Dean and (y/n) don't say anything and she walks out with the man. The two turn to look at Sam, who's watching them. "Guys." Sam said and Dean grabs (y/n)'s arm and they walk to the door they came in through, leaving Sam behind. "Guys!" Sam shouts after them.
*(y/n)'s POV*
Later that night, Dean and I enter the motel room and I could see Sam was sitting at the table. I quickly turn my head away from Sam as we just walk right into the room. Sam gets out of his chair the minute we enter but Dean and I grab our bags and begin to pack up our stuff. Sam walks over to us.
"Guys, what are you doing?" Sam asked us but we just ignore him and continue packing. "What, are you, are you guys leaving?" Sam asked us. "You don't need us. You and Ruby go fight demons." Dean said as we grab our bags and start for the door. Sam stands in the way so we have to go around him.
"Hold on. Guys, come on, man." Sam said, exasperated, then Dean turns around and punches him in the face with his right hand. Sam whirles around by the force. Dean just watches him as Sam turns back around to Dean. "You satisfied?" he asked and Dean hits him again, and then throws his bag on the floor. Sam touches his lip, which is bleeding. "I guess not." Sam mutters.
"Do you even know how far off the reservation you've gone? How far from normal? From human?" I asked Sam, worried. "I'm just exorcising demons." Sam said. "With your mind!" Dean yells and Sam flinches a bit then Dean takes a breath.
"What else can you do?" Dean asked him. "I can send them back to hell. It only works with demons, and that's it." Sam said then Dean grabs hold of him and pushes him backwards, walking with the force. "What else can you do?!" Dean asked, angrily. "I told you!" Sam shouts and he pushes his hand away, and they stop. "And I have every reason in the world to believe that." Dean said and he begins to walk away from Sam.
"And what about (y/n)? She was able to push and hold Ruby up with nothing!" Sam exclaimed and I look away while Dean stops, his back to Sam. "How come you're not mad at her? Seems she's got powers too!" Sam said then he looks at me then at Dean before he scoffs. "You knew, didn't you?" He said and Dean turns around and faces him.
"Yeah...I knew. But I didn't tell you cause I feel that's her responsibility to tell you." Dean said and I frown at this and Sam looks between us before letting out a sigh. "Look, I should have said something." Sam said while I fold my arms across my chest and Dean glares at him. "I'm sorry, guys. I am. But try to see the other side here." He said.
"The other side?" Dean said, angrily. "I'm pulling demons out of innocent people." Sam said. "Use the knife!" Dean yells. "The knife kills the victim! What I do, most of them survive! Look, I've saved more people in the last five months than we save in a year." Sam said. "That what Ruby want you to think? Huh? Kind of like the way she tricked you into using your powers?" Dean asked then he shakes his head, sad. "Slippery slope, brother. Just wait and see. Because it's gonna get darker and darker, and God knows where it ends." Dean said to Sam.
"I'm not gonna let it go too far." Sam said, firmly.
Dean smiles at that, walks over to the wall and hits the lamp on the side table, making it crash and fly, which made me jump at this. "It's already gone too far, Sam. If I didn't you know...I would wanna hunt you." Dean yells. Sam's eyes are tearful, and he nods at that, looking down. "And so would other hunters." Dean added and Sam looks up at him. "You were gone. (Y/n) and I had a fallen out. I was here. I had to keep on fighting without you. And what I'm doing...It works." Sam said.
"Sam, if it's so terrific...then why'd you lie about it to us?" I asked him, calmly. Sam looks down with that. "Why did an angel tell me to stop you?" Dean asked and Sam looks up, surprised. "What?" He asked. "Cas said that if I don't stop you, he will. See what that means, Sam? That means that God doesn't want you doing this. So, are you just gonna stand there and tell me everything is all good?" Dean asked him.
"Dean, can I counter that question?" I asked Dean and gives me an exasperated look. "Don't tell me you're defending him!" He said and I sigh. "Not exactly. I understand that Castiel told you to stop Sam, but if he is saving people by exorcising the demons and sending them away...why is God so against that?" I asked him, gesturing at Sam, and Dean gives me a hard, angry look, but I could see he was thinking.
Suddenly, the silence is broken by Sam's phone ringing, Dean and I flinch at the sound. Sam answers it. "Hello?" He said and he pinches the bridge of his nose, trying to collect himself. "Hey, Travis. Yeah, hey. Uh.....It's good to hear your voice, too, yeah. Um, look, it's not a really good time right now. It's-...Yeah, okay. Uh, well, just give me the details, and, uh....Carthage, Missouri." Sam said as Dean and I watch him as he walks over to the bedside table and writes down the location.
"Looking for Jack Montgomery." He said as he puts down the pen and ends the phonecall. Breathing deeply, he looks over at us and the three of us share a look.
"I can't believe it. Mom, a hunter?" Sam said, shocked, as we were in the Impala, roaring down the road. "I wouldn't have believed it either if I hadn't seen it myself." Dean said then he looks over at me as I sit in the passenger seat. "And your dad kicked my ass." Dean said and I laughed. "Sounds about right." I joked and he gives me a look. "Hey!" He said and I stuck my tongue out at him.
"How'd she look? I mean...was she happy?" Sam asked Dean. "Yeah, she was awesome. Funny and smart. So hopeful." Dean said and he looks over at Sam for moment and then back on the road. "Dad, too. Until of course..." Dean said and Sam sighs. "What?" I asked Sam as he looks out his window. "Nothing." he said.
After a moment he speaks up. "It's just, our parents. And now we find out our grandparents too? Our whole family murdered and for what? So Yellow Eyes could get in my nursery and bleed in my mouth?" Sam asked and I nod. "Same here." I muttered and Dean goes a bit "huh..?" over that last statement then he looks over at us, after thinking for a moment.
"Guys, I never said anything about demon blood." He said and I look away, guilty. "You two knew about that?" Dean asked and I sigh. "Yeah, for about a year." I replied. "He told you too?" Sam asked me and I nodded while Dean looks out through the window again, eyes on the road.
"A whole year?" Dean asked and I nod as Sam said. "I should have told you. I'm sorry."
"You've been saying that a lot lately, Sam. But whatever. You don't want to tell me, you don't have to. It's fine." Dean said and he glares over at me. "Same goes for you, princess." He grumbles at me and I scoff. "Dean." Sam said as he looks over at Dean, who's focusing on the road. "Whatever." Sam sighs and I run my hands over my face.
"We really need to go to therapy." I grumbled and earned a scoff from both boys.
"Are you sure that's him?" Dean asked as he holds binoculars, looking at the Montgomery house, watching Jack. "Only Jack Montgomery in town." Sam said. "And we're looking for..." I started to ask him. "Travis said to keep an eye out for anything weird." Sam replied. "Weird?" Dean and I asked. "Yeah." Sam said.
"Alright, well, yeah, I've seen big weird, little weird, weird with crazy on top. But this guy? I mean, come on, this guy's boring." Dean said. "I don't know, Dean. Travis seemed pretty sure." Sam said as he and I take up a couple pairs of binoculars of our own.
We see Jack leaning on the island in the kitchen, looking thoughtful. He takes another swig of his beer, and then opens the fridge again. He grabs a leftover chicken, and starts eating, not bothering with platers or utensiles. He begins to eat frantically, like he's not gotten food in days.
He throws the finished chicken aside and grabs a pack of uncooked meat and opens it up and starts eating the raw meat, throwing looks over his shoulder for his wife.
We watch this foodcraze happen and I made a disgusted noise then look over at the boys and see the look of disgust on their faces. "I'd say that qualifies as weird." I said and they nod.
Later, we enter through the door of the motel and stop to see an older man sitting by the table, beer in hand. A smile comes on Dean's lips. "Travis." Sam greets. "See, Sam. Told you we should have hid the beer." Dean said and Travis gets up and with a smile he walks towards us as we walk towards him.
"Smartass. Get over here." Travis said as he laughs and he and Dean hug. "Ahh, good to see you." Travis said. "You too." Dean said as they break and Travis and Sam hug as well. "Good to see you." He said to Sam. "You too, Travis." He said and they break. "Man, you got tall, kid." Travis said and they laugh at that comment then he turns to me.
"C'mere, girlie." He said and I laugh as I hug him. "It's good to see you, Travis." I said and we break the hug then he looks at Sam. "How long has it been?" He asked him. "Ah, gotta be 10 years." Sam replied. "You still a...oh, what was it...a mathlete?" Travis asked and Sam scoffs a little.
"No."
"Yep, sure is." I joked and Sam, playfully, shoves my shoulder. "Been too long, guys. I mean, look at you. Grown men and a grown beautiful woman. John and (f/n) would have been damn proud of you. Sticking together like this." Travis said "Yeah. Yeah, we're as thick as thieves." Dean said as he wraps an arm around my waist then looks at Sam, who's smile is disappearing with Dean's words. "Nothing more important than family." Dean said.
Travis walks over to the table, as Dean pats my ass for a moment then he follows, ignoring Sam. I give a sympathetic look towards Sam before I go over to Dean. "Sorry I'm late for the dance." Travis said as we sit down at the table, Sam and I sit down on the bed next to Dean, across from Travis. "Thanks for helping out an old man. I'm a little, uh, shorthanded." Travis said and he indicates his right hand and arm, which is covered in a cast. We laugh at that.
"So, you track down Montgomery?" Travis asked. "Yeah, we found him at his home." Sam said. "And?" Travis asked. "Well, he had a hell of a case of the munchies, topped off with a burger he forgot to cook." I said. "That's him alright." Travis said.
"What's him?" Dean asked. "Guys, we got a rougarou on our hands." Travis said and I furrow my brow in confusion. "A rougarou?" Dean asked and he looks over at us for a second. "Is that made up?" he asked and he looks back at Travis before Sam can answer. "That sounds made up." Dean said.
"They're mean, nasty little suckers. Rotted teeth, wormy skin, the works." Travis said. "Well, that ain't this guy. I mean, he was wearing a cellphone on his belt." I said. "He'll turn ugly soon enough. They start out human, for all intents and purposes." Travis said. "So, what? They go through some kind of metamorphosis?" Sam asked him.
"Yep, like a maggot turning into a bull fly. But most of all--they're hungry." Travis said. "Hungry for what?" Dean asked. "At first, for everything, but then...for long pig." Travis said and Sam exhales at that and I make a noise of disgust. Dean looks confused, not understanding the term long pig.
"Long pig?" Dean said, confused. "He means human flesh." Sam said and I shake my head. "And that is my word of the day." Dean said, sarcastically. "Hunger grows in...till they can't fight it. Till they got to take themselves a big, juicy chomp, and then it happens." Travis describes and I look over at him.
"What happens?" I asked him. "They transform completely and fast. One bite's all it takes. Eyes, teeth, skin; all turns. No going back either. They feed once, they're a monster forever. And our man Jack's headed there on a bullet train." Travis said.
"Well, how'd you find this guy if he's a walking, talking human?" Dean asked. "Lets just say it runs in his family." Travis said. "You mean, uh..." Sam said, confused, before Travis finishes. "Killed his daddy back in '78. Son of a bitch mangled 8 bodies before I put him down. Guy used to be a dentist. Cadillac, trophy wife...Little did I know, pregnant trophy wife. She put the boy up for adoption. By the time I found out, he was long gone, lost in the system."
"You mean to tell me you couldn't find someone?" Sam asked and Travis sighs. "I'm not sure I wanted to. The idea of hunting down some poor kid...I don't think I'd have the heart. No. I wanted to wait, make damn sure I had the right man. Apparently, I do." He said before he takes a swig of the beer.
Dean, Travis and I were by the table, fixing gas cans to use against the Rougarou when I look at Travis. "So fire, huh?" I asked Travis. "The only way I found to kill these bastards; deep-fry 'em." Travis said. "Well, that's gonna be...horrible. Is that what you did to Jack's dad?" Dean asked him. "Uh-huh." Travis said and Sam comes into the room from outside, papers in hand.
"Not wasting any time, are you?" Sam asked us. "None to waste. The guy hulks out, we won't be finding bodies, just remains." Travis said as Sam sits down on the bed next to the table. "What if he doesn't hulk out? I did a little homework. Uh, I've been checking out the lore on rougarous." Sam said and Travis raises an eyebrow.
"What? My 30 years of experience not good enough for you?" he asked. "What? No. No, I-I- I just wanted to be prepared. I mean, not that you didn't.." Sam stammers before Dean speaks up. "Sam loves research. He does. He keeps it under his mattress right next to his KY. It's a sickness." I said and Dean looks over at Sam, who's gives him a look. "It is." Dean said and Sam shakes his head.
"Look, everything you said checked out, of course, but uh. I found a couple of interesting stories about people who have this rougarou gene or whatever. See, they start to turn, but they never take the final step." Sam explains. "Really?" Dean and I asked. "See, if they never eat human flesh, they don't fully transform." Sam said.
"So what? Go vegan, stay human?" Dean asked, sarcastically. "Basically. Or in this case, eat a lot of raw meat, just not..." Sam said before I finish his sentence. "Long pig." I added. "Right." Sam sad and Dean smiles a little, Travis is just sitting next to him, having watched and listened to Sam about this under silence.
"Good on you for the due diligence, Sam." He said as he gets up. "But those are fairy tales." Travis said and he walks over to the little pantry and pours himself another cup of coffee. "Fact is, every rougarou I ever saw or heard of...took that bite." He said. "Okay, well, that doesn't mean that Jack will." Sam said as he stands up. Dean and I watch Sam rise and then we stand up.
"So what do we do? Sit and hope and wait for a body count?" Travis asked. "No, we talk to him. Explain what's happening. That way he can fight it." Sam said. "Fight it?" Travis laughs "Are you kidding me? You ever been really hungry? I mean, haven't-eaten-in-days hungry?"
"Yeah." Dean said, nodding. "Yeah. Right then. So somebody slaps a big, juicy sirloin in front of you, you walking away?" Travis asked him. Dean looks thoughtfull for a second and then admits "no" without words, only raising of eyebrows. He slowly looks over at me and Sam. "That's what we are to him now, meat on legs. I'm sorry. I'm sure he's a stand-up guy, but it's pure, base instinct. Everything in nature's gotta eat. You think he can stop himself 'cause he's nice?" Travis asked.
"I don't know. But we're not gonna kill him unless he does something to get killed for." Sam said in a firm, serious tone. Dean and I look over at him as Sam takes a few breaths and then walks out of the room. Travis looks over at us, a bit puzzled by Sam's reaction.
"What's up with your brother?" he asked and Dean looks at the door and then Travis. "Don't get me started." Dean said as he turns to sit down again and I shrug at this.
Later, the boys and I were driving down a road, Dean is behind the wheel as per usual. "All right, so we're gonna go have a little chat with this guy--which, you know...I'm down." Dean said while Sam is just sitting quietly next to him, staring out the front windshield while I was in the backseat. "But I just want to make sure, if push comes, you're gonna shove." said Dean as he looks over at Sam, who finally turns to him.
"Meaning?" Sam asked. "Well, odds are we're gonna have to burn this guy alive." Dean said. "This guy has a name and a wife." Sam said, sternly. "Yeah, who we're probably gonna make a widow, okay? I mean, you heard Travis. He's gonna turn. They always turn." Dean said.
"Well, maybe he won't. Maybe he can fight it off." I suggested, hopeful, as I sit up. "And maybe he can't, that's all I'm saying." Dean said. "All right, we'll just have to see then, okay?" Sam grumbles and Dean looks over at him.
"This is what I mean, Sam. You sure your emotions aren't getting in the way here?" he asked and Sam looks at him with a confused look. "What are you talking about?" Sam asked. "You know, nice dude, but he's got something evil inside. Something in his blood. Maybe you can relate." Dean said as he looks over at him, but Sam doesn't respond with a look of his own and I sighed. "Damn it, Dean!" I growled as Sam said. "Stop the car."
"What?" Dean asked. "Stop the car or I will!" Sam shouts and they share a look until Dean drives to the side of the road, but before the car has completely slowed to a stop Sam has already opened his door and is getting out.
As Dean and I open our doors, Sam slams his own shut and turns around to Dean, angry. "You want to know why I've been lying to you, Dean? Because of crap like this." Sam said as they start to walk around the front of the car and I try to get in the middle of them. "Like what?" Dean asked. "The way you talk to me, the way you look at me like I'm a freak!" Sam said and he pushes me and walks past Dean, and then turns around to him, now completely pissed off.
"I do not." Dean said, defensively, and I give him a look. "What?" He asked. "You know, or even worse, like I'm an idiot!" Sam yells and he walks up to Dean, and almost gets in his face but I step between them and place a hand on Sam's chest, trying to hold him back. "Like I don't know the difference between right and wrong!" said Sam and he steps back, turns his back to us and walks a few steps.
He then stops, hands on hips, back still to us as we watch him. When Sam finally turns around, Dean looks down. "What?" Sam asked, angrily. Dean looks up at him again, and now he sounds a bit angry. "Do you know the difference, Sam? I mean, you've been kind of strolling a dark road lately." said Dean.
"You have no idea what I'm going through. None." Sam growls. "Then enlighten me!" Dean shouts. "I've got demon blood in me, Dean! This disease pumping through my veins, and I can't ever rip it out or scrub it clean! I'm a whole new level of freak! And I'm just trying to take this - this curse...and make something good out of it. Because I have to." Sam said and I look down as Dean looks at him for a few moments, then Sam looks down on the ground.
After a while, Dean finally says something in a calm voice. "Let's just go talk to the guy." He said and I clear my throat as Sam scoffs. "I mean Jack. Okay?" He said. After a moment, Sam gives a small, almost non-existant, nod, but he doesn't look at Dean. "I swear, one of these days, I'm booking you two in counseling." I said.
"Oh brother." Dean grumbles as he walks to his car and I could see a small smirk on Sam's face. "You do that, and it won't be a pretty site." Sam said and I chuckle a bit at this.
Later, we emerge through the backdoor of Jack's house to the garden behind Jack, who is watering his plants. "Jack Montgomery?" Sam asked but Jack doesn't turn right away, take a moment, and then he just looks around, over at us. "I'm Sam Winchester. This is my brother; Dean, and my friend, (y/n)." Sam introduced and Jack turns around and looks at us as we walk up to him.
"We need to talk." Sam said. Jack looks at him and then at me and Dean, who looks around a bit. "About?" Jack asked, looking back at Sam. "About you. About how you're changing." Sam said and Jack's brow furrows. "Excuse me?" He said. "You're probably feeling your bones move under your skin. And your appetite's reaching, you know, hungry hungry hippo levels. How am I doing so far?" Dean said and Jack looks even more confused
"Who the hell are you guys?" He asked us. "We're people who know a little something about something." I said. "We're people who can help. Please, just hear us out." Sam said and Jack looks between us before nodding, slightly.
"A-a what?" Jack asked us after we explained. "A rougarou. Sounds made-up, I know, but believe me, it's not." Dean said. "Alright, I've noticed certain things. I mean, some strange things. But I just, I-I don't know. I'm..I'm sick or something." Jack said. "Your father was one of these things." Sam said and Jack turns around to Sam at that. "Your real father. He passed it on to you." Sam explained.
"No. Are-are you guys listening to yourselves? You s-sound like you're-" Jack said until I speak up. "Skip the whole you guys sound crazy, shall we? You're hungry, Jack. You're only gonna get hungrier." I said. "Hungrier for?" Jack asked. "Long pig. You know, a little manburger helper, may have crossed your mind already." Dean explains. "No." Jack said, shaking his head.
"It doesn't have to be like this, Jack. You can fight it off." Sam said. "No." Jack repeated. "Others have." I said. "We're not gonna lie to you, though. It's not gonna be easy. You're gonna feel like an alcoholic swimming around in whiskey. But I'm telling you. You gotta say no...or- " Dean said until Jack said. "Or what?"
"You feed once, and it's all over. And then we'll have to stop you." I said and Jack looks taken aback. "Stop me? My dad, did uh, somebody stop him?" he asked. "Yes." Sam said and Jack becomes angry. "Get off my property right now. I see you guys again, I'm calling the cops." he threatens.
"Jack, your wife, everybody you know, they're in danger." Sam pleads. "Now!" Jack shouts then Sam sighs and they begin to walk away. "Good talk." Dean said, sarcastically, and he and I turn to leave.
Later we watch Jack, from inside the Impala, as he walks for a bit then he lowers his phone. He then looks up at the building across the street from him where a woman is undressing. He watches her for a bit and when she closes her drapes he slowly stands and with his eyes fixed on her window, he crosses the street.
"Damn it. Jack. No." Sam grumbles as he pulls up the flamethrower and exists the car. Dean and I grab a flamethrower each as well and get out the car too. "Come on." Dean said as we run up to the building and see Jack climbing the fire-escape.
We kick down the door and hurry through it, flamethrowers at the ready. We meet the woman, who's just coming out of her bedroom and ending up scaring the living hell out of her with that entrance. She screams and backs into her bedroom. "Wait!" I shout but she slams her door. The boys and I were standing by the front door, all of us confused.
"Whoa, uh, we're here to save you, I guess." Dean said as Sam looks around. "I'm calling the police!" We hear her shout as she locks the door. "We should go." Sam said. "Really? What gave you that idea?" I asked, sarcastically, and we hurry out, Dean turns around and closes the door with a little embarassed laugh.
Minutes later, we pull up in front of Jack's house, and see a car on the otherside of the street. We slowly get out, flamethrowers in hand. Dean and I walk around the Impala to Sam. "I guess now we know where Travis is." Dean remarks and we start walking towards the house. "That stupid son of a bitch." Sam mutters then Dean looks over at Sam by that comment. We reach the porchsteps and slowly open the door.
Dean comes in first, eyes on the stairs. As he moves in, Sam and I follow and see a chair had fallen to the floor and a big bloodpool soaked up by the carpet. We stop by the entrance to the living room and noticed a bloodtrail from the pool to behind the couch can be seen. The three of us share a look.
Then we see a piece of meat on the floor, as Sam walks over to it, closely followed by me and Dean. We stop by it and look down. "Oh, God." I muttered, horrified. "Think that's Travis?" Dean asked Sam, who sighs. "What's left of him." Sam said, defeated. "Guess you were right about Jack." He said.
Before Dean can respond he's suddenly pushed forward and Jack jumps him from behind. "Dean!" Sam and I shout as they slam down on the coffee table, knocking out Dean. Sam and I quickly move around them and pull up our flamethrowers and put up our lighter in front of it, to light it. Jack turns around to us and jumps both of us before we can get a flame.
We slam to the floor, and I hit the back of my head. Before Sam has a chance to do anything, Jack grabs the flamethrower and slams it into Sam's face, effectivly knocking him out. I try to get up but Jack uses the flamethrower to hit me upside the head, making me blackout.
I groan as I slowly open my eyes to see I'm on the floor of the closet, knocked out. Where am I?? I thought and I look over to see Sam was next to me. I shake his shoulder then I remembered where I am and I get up and for the doorhandle, but it's locked. "Dean?" I called out. "Dean can't come to the phone right now." Jack's voice said and I slam my hand against the door twice, angry. "Jack! If you hurt him, I swear to God!" I yelled, threateningly, as Sam gets up.
"Calm down! Your boyfriend's alive." Jack said and Sam and I relax a bit with that news and I rest my head against the door, panting. But not if you and your friend don't calm down." Jack said. "Alright, Jack. Listen. Open the door. We can figure this out, okay?" Sam said and Jack laughs at that.
"We'll have ourselves a little brainstorming session." Jack said. "Jack. Please." I plead. "I don't think so. After what you did?" Jack said and Sam and I look at each other, confused. "What? What are you talking about?" Sam asked. "You send your friend here. He tried to burn my wife alive." Jack said and Sam and I give a look.
"What? Why?" I asked Jack as Sam goes through his pockets. "He didn't say." Jack said and I look around and see a metal hanger, then I grab it. "I guess psychopaths don't have to explain themselves." Jack said. "Listen to us. You gotta believe us. My brother, (y/n) and I, we never would have hurt her, okay?" Sam said.
"Oh, God. I'm so hungry." Jack moans as I used the metalwired hanger and re-formed it so I can pick the lock. "Jack, don't do this." Sam pleads as I bend down and goes for the lock. "I can't ever see my family again." Jack said as I work the lock. "You three...your friend. You made me into this!" Jack yells. "No one's making you kill us." Sam said while the lock won't agree with me so I take down my hands for a moment.
"Listen to me. You got this dark pit inside you. I know." Sam said as he leans against the door, with his eyes closed. "Believe me, I know. But that doesn't mean you have to fall into it. You don't have to be a monster." Sam said as he opens his eyes while I begin to work on the lock again.
Jack laughs at that. "Have you seen me lately?" He asked. "It doesn't matter what you are. It only matters what you do. It's your choice." Sam said and we hear Jack grunt in pain and I begin to panic a bit. "Sam, back up." I whispered and Sam does that as I hold my hand out, palm out, concentrate and thrust my hand forward, making the door slam open.
"Jack!" Sam and I shout as we grab the flamethrowers and lighters in hands, ready. Jack whips around and sits still for a moment, like he deciding something, while Sam and I were only watching him. Then he lunges for us and, at that moments, we flip the lighters and the flamethrower goes off, burning Jack alive. Jack finally falls to the floor, in flames.
Once the flames died down, I look over and see Dean, who is awake, looks over at us. I sighed with relief then I look at Sam, who looked sad by this outcome. Defeated even.
Sometime later, we were in the Impala, driving under silence, Dean behind the wheels. He looks over at Sam who's just staring out the window. Dean turns back to the road. "You did the right thing, you know. That guy was a monster, there was no going back." Dean said but Sam doesn't respond, he only lowers his head. "Sam, I wanna tell you I'm sorry. I've been kind of hard on you lately." Dean said and Sam lifts his head again, looking out. "Don't worry about it, Dean." Sam said.
"It's just that your, uh, your psychic thing, it scares the crap out of me. And, (y/n), I know you can only move things but...I'm worried about you too." Dean said and I look up at him, from the backseat, through the rear view mirror before I dart my eyes away. Honestly, these powers scare me too! After seeing what Sam could do, I wondered if I could do that but that's a part of me I'm scared to learn about.
"Look, if it's all the same...I'd really rather not talk about it." Sam said as he looks over at Dean. Dean looks back at him and a little smile plays on his lips. "Wait a minute. What? You don't want to talk? You?" Dean jokes and I chuckle but Sam doesn't reply to the smile or joke.
"There's nothing more to say. I can't keep explaining myself to you. I can't make you understand." Sam said. "Why don't you try?" Dean asked. "I can't. Because this thing, this blood, it's not in you the way it's in me. It's just something I got to deal with." Sam said.
I frown then I scoot up against the passenger seat and place my hand on his shoulder. "Not alone." I said to him. Sam sighs and looks out through the passenger window. "Anyway, it doesn't matter. These powers...it's playing with fire. I'm done with them." He said after a moment of silence.
Dean and I look over at him. "I'm done with everything." he said. "Really?" Dean asked but Sam continues to look out his window and Dean turns back to the road. "Well, that's a relief. Thank you." Dean said and Sam turns around to him and scoffs a little. "Don't thank me. I'm not doing it for you. Or for the angels or for anybody. This is my choice." Sam said and I pat his shoulder, sympathetically.

cWell thanks to all the jackass guilt-tripping posts about not using google docs, I lost more than half of a chapter of work. I lost four days of fighting with LibreOffice. Now, I have to go back to google docs as well as Chrome because dark mode doesn't work on Firefox google docs and I can't handle a white screen to type on.
So yeah.
I lost a ton of work and I don't want to re-write it.
So shut up and drive is over.

Foxy OC singing tier list
Amarie, Ori, Elly, Diane/Alba, Maria, Elio, Zhn under the hood
S for Siren Tier:
Amarie, obviously. Even her speaking voice is supposed to be almost unsettling. Like it's not supposed to come out of a human???? A regular person should not be this good????? She can and would sink ships.
A for Amazing Tier:
Oriana, who similar to Amarie has vocal training. She has a soft and emotional voice with a crazy vocal range. She's good, always worth handing her the mic during Karaoke.
Elio, sings a lot. Was probably in a band at some point during high school/uni before dropping to work his day job. Will probably be down to sing with his band if ever called. Overall a good, practiced voice.
B for BNot outstanding but not ear grating.
Elly, as someone who howls she has good control over her voice. I imagine she's not good at adding emotion to her voice so it leads to her sounding a little flat but other than that. Not bad.
Zhn, similar to Elio he just likes singing. Voice is probably really bass-y so it's hard to find songs for him to lead but he's good at harmonizing.
C for CWell they try?
Maria, not bad necessarily but her voice cracks a lot. She gets especially nervous in front of people leading to more mistakes. Would be good with practice but she's not necessarily interested in singing outside of a hobby.
Diane, similar to Elly except she hoots, and like Elly she has little to no emotion. Because of her weak physical condition she can't be loud when singing either. Like Maria, not bad but probably not worth giving her the mic.

Jenny smiled “cwell with the amount of times both have invaded earth and aliens in general have invaded earth I’m really surprised it’s not more if a talking point ” she pointed out with a smile .
forever-running:
experincingtheworld:
“ Why do you say that the daleks win the tally of being the worst of the worst?” Emma asked then stuck her hand out,” nice to meet you Jenny, I’m Emma, welcome to earth,” she chuckled a little.
“you can reason with a cyberman ” she said with a shrug “ the daleks are just … A nightmare” she said and shivered “ am I that obvious I’m not from earth ?” Jenny asked the other with a smile and a raised eyebrow with a bit if a laugh
Emma laughed a bit with her,” well, most people from earth don’t exactly go telling a stranger about Cyberman and Daleks.” she told her,” ah yeah, I..don’t think I ever tried to reason with a Cyberman, I’ll have to remember that for my next interaction with one.”

Why do you think Louis agreed to bbg? I read your xarry post. Why not get engaged to Eleanor? How does one get to I think I’ll have a fake kid to hide my sexuality. One of my friends thinks that what Simon Cowell did. Hide he’s gay and he wanted to have a kid, stunt with the surrogate. I saw a thread somewhere about it and I thought oh, maybe. I’ve never been able to understand how Louis thought it would be okay. What a mess.
Hi anon!
The reason why the baby thing is so similar between Simon Cwell and Louis is because One Directions chief of PR was the direct assistant of Simons Cwlls PR agent who was notoriously famous for being very unethical in his approach (he went to jail eventually) and they basically use the same strategies.
I think they did bbg because they saw that Eleanor didn’t work 100% and the Larry rumours were alive as ever (because they had zero chemistry lol) and they needed to get the big guns out so that Harry could have his coming out. And Eleanor didn’t want to get involved in something like that I assume so they had to find someone different willing to have a fake baby with Louis.
I think Louis did it because he wanted to make it possible for H to be more himself publicly, have this sort of coming out, because it was killing him (quite literally) bts to hide himself like that. And I think Louis would do anything for Harry.
Hope that cleared up a little?

cWell I beat AM2R. I kind of avoid fan games on PC because I associate them with poor quality, slowdown, and requiring the usage of the shift key constantly activating my sticky keys. But it's also been years since I've sought out any fan games. I figured it was time to give it another shot. Especially since i'm still on a bit of a Metroid high after finishing Dread.
I don't like comparing this to the official Metroid remake much but I guess that's just inevitable... yeah I really do like this game better than Nintendo's official remake. I've got a lot of nostalgia for the original Gameboy Metroid 2, it was my first Metroid game, before I even really knew what Metroid was. I never managed to finish the original release, I made it all the way to the final boss and couldn't figure out how to beat it. Managed to do it years later when the game hit the 3DS E-Shop.
No kidding, this may be my new preferred way to play Metroid 2.
My one complaint... it's something the official remake did too... they made my favorite musical track, "surface runner" slower and ambient, and even doubled down on that a quarter of the way into the game. I hate that! I know, I get it, we all want Metroid to be the one "Scary mature" series from Nintendo but does the music got to suffer for it?? NES upper Brinstar, and Gameboy Surface Runner are the only up beat adventurous songs in the series, let us keep them please... oh, but I do gotta say there's other tracks in this game that absolutely slap.
