people can be very critical with how characters are drawn, but most never know the hardship and the frustrations it comes with trying to nail his look cuz he's a piece of work to draw (and because he goes off model a ton.). so don't take the hatred and understand this sort of thing takes time. and i mean A LOT OF TIME.

WRW Important update ramble-

CLAPS OK SO long story short- I got tendonitis in my thumb/wrist back in October- ew bad and that eventually went away- buuuuut the second it went away I also got it in both my elbows cuz my body is v mean to me right now. The tendon in the elbow connect to other parts of the arm/hand like wrist and pinkie finger and well the pain has gone away in my elbow its now isolated itself entirely in my pinkie and wrist for some reason.

I THINK its on its way out but I wanna give it time to properly heal and get back to normal SO

Imma be taking a break from posting WRW for the rest of December and We'll start back again the first Sunday of January!

I'm still gonna be working on WrW behind the scenes just slower to try and get a decent ish backlog going so I don't have to strain myself to get shit out a few days before its suppose to be posted. Since I'm the only one who does all the visual stuff its a lot of work on my hand and it'd be good to give myself more room to rest my hand to prevent this from happening in the future u3u

December 28th, 2024 marked five (5!!!) years since I created my beloved baby girl Siri!! And man. Manmanmanman. Yeah.

That's a little bit insane.

So first off, yippee, and second off, i got nostalgic and decided to dig up some of the first art i did of my baby back in december 2019. So now yall get to suffer as i show my old art >:)

First off, my first Siri drawing ever!! She used to look a whole lot different and had a different birthday (and yes her hair was already blonde i just. Didnt have a great blonde marker at 16 lmao)

In january 2020 gussiri became a thing because i thought their personalities would fit together. Oh jolly. What a good thing for all of us (i cant escape them)

This is where i learned how to draw chins (surprisingly hard task i do not recommand) and baby girl got a new outfit!!!! Byebye sad greys hello pastels (i actually still really like this outfit on Siri tbh)

And yknow i think its pretty fun this lil character has stuck with me throughout the last five years!! Shes really seen me through high school and college and hardships alike and has grown with me as my artskills and writing got better

I love Siri and everything she stands for to me, as her creator, so much, like,,, the idea that i have this character that grew up beside me and developed herself the more i drew her and the more i noted down about her is actually so insane

Skz had been on schedule the whole day. On interviews, recording some content for Stay, just like some episodes of 2Kids Show, and also practicing for the upcoming presentations on music awards there are between December and January.

The members, were tired but also happy and proud of themselves for how this era was doing, but one member, Changbin, woke up with extreme energy that day.

Changbin was being extremely loud and clingy, more than usual, especially with Jeongin, always hugging him and chasing him for hugs or to ask him for kisses (which are never given).

Jeongin normally wouldn't care, and actually, wasn't caring at the moment. He knows how Changbin is, and he might seem bothered by that, but he's actually not. In fact, Jeongin also woke up in a good, playful mood that day, so we can say their energies where matching together and they were having fun in between all the tiring things the were having to do across the day.

While they were playfully fooling around after and interview, Jeongin poked Changbin's side. It was a light poke, Jeongin didn't even think when he did it, but Changbin practically jumped at it. Jeongin just giggled a bit and decided to not think much about it.

But... How many times had Changbin wreck him after seeing his extremely ticklish reaction to the lightest touch? This was the perfect opportunity to get him back. So the maknae just kept that information for later, he was really going to destroy that guy...

Some hours later, it was already 9pm, the members were extremely tired, excepting for Changbin, who somehow kept some energy, so it was sure the members in the 3racha+Hyunjin dorm weren't going to sleep soon. Maybe our baby bread could help them with that...

It was a surprise for the whole group when Jeongin asked Chan if he could to go with them to their dorm, and he'd go to his later. It's not like Jeongin didn't like visit his hyungs from the other dorm, it's just that... Well, he wasn't likely to go after a long work day.

And definitely not at 9pm.

But 3racha and Hyunjin were happy to be visited by their maknae, despite the hour, so they accepted.

After being threatened by Minho about selling all his shoes if he wasn't at their dorm before 10:30pm, Jeongin entered the car where 3racha+Hyunjin were, and they went to their dorm.

Once in the 3racha+Hyunjin dorm, Jeongin sat on a living room's couch with Chan. They were going to see a movie cuz there was actually nothing much to do, while Changbin, Jisung and Hyunjin went each one to their own room.

Around minute 20, Jeongin decided to go complete his mission before the dwaekki fell asleep, so he confessed his plan to Chan, who understoond perfectly and paused the movie so the youngest wouldn't miss anything.

Jeongin stood up and walked towards Changbin's room "Hyung? You still awake?" He asked, making sure to not be too loud in case he was already asleep.

"Yup. Come in, Innie" Changbin said from the other side of the door.

Jeongin entered the older's room, closing the door behind him and sitting down next to him in his bed "What you doing, hyung?" He asked innocently, as if he waren't about to tickle the shit out of him.

Changbin was happy to have a time with his youngest, after all, he appreciated the members a lot and was happy when they were the ones looking for him, it felt good.

"Just scrolling through Instagram. Nothing new or interesting. What about you? Weren't you watching a movie with Chan hyung?"

"Oh, yes, but... You'll see, I've been thinking about something the whole day and now I need to do it, could you let me?" Jeongin asked, with that cute and infallible smile of his.

"Let you do... Exactly what?" The dwaekki asked, raising an eyebrow, now finding the youngest's behavior non usual from him.

"Can I tickle you, hyung? I won't be too mean, really"

Changbin was surprised and flustered by the maknae's question, he was expecting everything but that "T-Tickle me? Are you serious? Pfft, I'm... Not even ticklish, so it would be in vain if you tried. Sorry to disappoint you, baby bread" The older rushed to reply, the nervousness evident in his voice and a light pink blush spreading over his cheeks.

"If you're not ticklish then you wouldn't mind if I test it myself, right?" Jeongin grinned at the older, knowing he will win this fight

"U-Uhhhh... I-I..."

Without letting him say another word, Jeongin jumped over the rapper and sat on his thighs, also keeping his arms above his head.

It was so unexpected that Changbin couldn't even fight back, and at the moment he realized everything, he was already pinned down by the youngest.

Jeongin didn't lose any more time and immediately started squeezing the older's side, provoking loud, cute giggles out of him, and attempts of squirming, that failed since Jeongin had him immobilized.

"Oh? What's that, hyung? I thought you said you weren't ticklish" Innie teased, with a grin on his face.

"Shuhuhuhuhut up, Jeongihihihin!" Changbin blushed at the youngest's teases

Jeongin gasped dramatically "How dare you say such rude things to your dongsaeng, hyung? Channie hyung have told you multiple times that you have to respect your youngers!" The maknae went wild on Changbin's ribs, his worst spot from far

"N-NohohOHOHOHOHO INNIHIHIHIHIHIE! WAHAHAHAHAIT! INNIE, INNIHIHIHIE IT TICKLES SO MUHUHUHUHUCH. I CAN'T TAKE IHIHIHIHIT!"

After a few more seconds torturing the older, Jeongin stopped and got off of his hyung, leaving Changbin all blushed and breathing hard.

"I didn't tell you to stop..." Changbin said as turned his face to face (lol😭) Innie.

Jeongin looked at the dwaekki, a bit surprised at his words "What do you mean?" Asked, just to make sure he understood right.

"I mean that... I think that I like this. Can you do it some more?" Changbin asked shyly

Jeongin could only smile at the older's request, not having expected that, but finding it extremely cute, so sat back on Changbin thighs and started squeezing his hips, making him go crazy.

"WaHAHAHAHAIT JEONGIN, THAT'S BAHAHAHHAHAHAD! THAT'S REALLY BAHAHAHHAHAHAD!"

"Awwwww, you like this, hyungie?"

Changbin could barely talk, so answered as he could, not thinking twice before doing it "HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAA YEHEHEHEHEHES, YEHEHEHEHHEHEHES!"

Jeongin smiled and lifted up the older's shirt, and without any warning, blew a raspberry close to his side, making Changbin kick his legs and move his head like crazy, while did his best to push Jeongin's head out of his belly, failing even though he's so strong, but strong people also become weak when tickled. Understand him.

"FUHUHUHUHUHUCK! FUCK, JEONGIHIHIHIHIN, THAT'S TOO BAHAHAHAD! THAT'S BAD, IT'S BAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAD, IT'S REALLY BAHAHAHHAD"

Jeongin giggled on the dwaekki's belly "You almost never swear! This must be a lot for you!" And then proceeded to nibble all over the other guy's midsection while scribbling his ribs, which drove the older totally insane.

"NOHOHOHOHOHOHO, JEONGIHIHIHIHIN! JEONGIN, FUHUHUHUHUCK, THIS IS TOO BAD! IT'S TOO BAD, I CAN'T TAKE IHIHIHIHIT! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA JEONGIN, JEONGIN STOP, STOP PLEHEHEHEHEASE!"

Jeongin finally stopped, getting off of his hyung for the second time, and stroking his hair a bit, as an aftercare.

"Was that too much, hyungie?" The younger asked softly, to what the older shook his head and blushed while answering "It was great, thank you, Innie"

Changbin then gave a small but tight hug to his dongsaeng, as another way of thanking him. Jeongin, even though he wasn't a great fan of skinship, accepted the hug with a slight smile, and even hugged Binnie back.

After pulling away from the hug, Binnie stared a the ceiling for some seconds, and then spoke up again "What time did Lee Know hyung said you had to be home or else he'd sell all your shoes?"

"SHIT, YOU'RE RIGHT" Jeongin quickly checked the hour: 10:23pm. He could make it to the dorm in seven minutes, right? He hoped so, or his shoes were going to pay the consequences.

Innie stood up from Changbin's bed in a rush, yelling a "Good night Changbin, Han, and Hyunjin hyungs" while running all over the dorm. Then arrived the living room and let a tired from running "Good night Channie hyung" out. Chan couldn't help but giggle at the youngest's hurry, but replied with a "Good night for you too Innie, and you better run cuz it's already 10:25", which only made the maknae even more worried, so he ran out of the dorm towards his, which fortunately was just a few streets away.

Changbin, meanwhile, was still staring at the ceiling, replaying the scene of Innie absolutely wrecking the total shit out of him. Damn, that felt so good and liberating.... Maybe he could ask him for more one day...

TIME FOR THE LONG ASS 2024 REVIEW

i am once again gonna review each highlighted piece i have made in 2024 so far like last year even though it's sort of unnecessary i have a bit to commit to

JANUARY

jan's piece is my smash poster celebrating the 25TH anniversary! this after i got rlly into making giant multi-character ensemble pieces, and i've wanted to do a poster like this to celebrate smash, so i'm glad i was able to step up to plate. usually i think my art from january ages pretty bad in these reviews, but i actually still like it from the composition, colors, and the drawings of the characters. i still have the print of it hanging in my room! ^o^ other highlights from the month is the complimentary poster i did with smash ultimate's dlc cast... well i kinda mention that out of obligation because i actually do think this one aged like ass, mainly the shading on the characters looking pretty bad (especially as a print). i think i shoulda saved this idea for later in the year to time it with smash ultimate's release day of december 7 (i am extremely deadline-pilled) but i probably wouldn't have cared by then so i just did it like, immediately after the 64 poster. so it probably smacks of burnout + i can't shade with blue that well

FEBRUARY

this one sorta represents seven whole drawings i did for one series. it's my seven piece set of artworks based on mothy's evillious chronicles, and i chose rilliane's because i think at the time i was putting this together i thought she came out the best (i began assembling this starting april 2024 lol), but idk! i still think she's pretty solid but i think she's tied up with kayo and banica. one thing's for sure, i know sateriasis is my least favorite of the bunch by a wide ass margin, i really wish i executed it better! not much other interesting highlights for this month besides my other vocaloid art series, the alice of human sacrifice ace cards. i think they aged alright but again this is another idea that i wanna execute better in the future.

MARCH

oh boy another series!!! this was part of my four part series redrawing the crossed paths artwork from octopath traveler ii. i chose the one featuring partitio and osvald because it was my favorite at the time. i still think it aged pretty nicely but it has some rendering hiccups that rlly bother me but in terms of colors/the background i still like it. if i had to pick a new favorite, it might go to throné and tenemos or cassti and ochette. another notable highlight of this year was a piece of oc art i made. i need to do something unabashedly overdramatic and angsty with my ocs again cuz i still like this one too. i think i opted out of selecting this one to highlight since cropping a face was kinda awkward lol.

APRIL

an overdramatic oc art has been highlighted! another one i like (it's almost like i picked my best for this chart). it was sorta the origin of me using my favorite watercolor brush in procreate to have an extremely rough idea of the colors that naturally blend together, creating a pretty cohesive palette when i render it (which is the current basis for how i render in my current style). april otherwise is kinda boring idk i don't like a lot of the other drawings here lol. this utsu-p album redraw ft robin is still pretty cool tho imo.

MAY

i feel like i had some nice variety to pick from, but i chose my improvisational and edgy grima drawing since i think stylistically it stands out the most. i found my new favorite sketching/doodling pencil brush in procreate and made a whole drawing using it, and the texture is so niiiice. other highlights: COOL OC ART (ft kandy). part of me feels like it's kinda corny but i was born on da cob so whatever, this one was fun and i still like it!!! there was also my art based on bad end night. i'm a tiny bit mixed on the rendering/colors, idk i was experimenting with a different brush for lining and shading and the slight difference in texture makes it a little weird but that is shit that only matters to me. i think it's a hell of a lot better than the bad end night drawing i made back in 2022, so in terms of "redemption" i think it was successful.

JUNE

kind of a boring month tbh, i got miitopia-pilled again so i was probably busy playing that this month + i was home for the summer and i am extremely lazy when i am at home lol. but to compliment the dive back in my miitopia era i made a sorta sketchy drawing with kandy as my great sage. check it, it's another with my new pencil brush, and i definitely remember having fun with this one (though her robe physics kinda make no sense based on how i drew her ref, i never look at my refs for my ocs/i usually break their designs to fit certain poses silhouettes 💀💀💀). uh i guess the one other interesting piece (imo) from this month was my giant miitopia poster that i was too chicken shit to share proper until recently (if you missed the edit where you can fully see it, there ya go). it's kinda oversaturated vomit and i'm not crazy proud of the execution but it was ambitious and kandy's section still looks really good imo so it has value in that regard to me.

JULY

i participated in my first artfight this july! i drew many cool ocs. by about the halfway mark i got hella burnt out tho and started doing my own stuff to freshen things up (it was also around here when galasynth entered production and i met MANY AMAZING VOCALOID ARTISTS!!! SHOUTOUT TO THOSE MUTUALS :)))))). for this month i chose my poster based on touhou eosd since i think this might be the most gracefully aged piece the whole year (it's probably my favorite!!). the colors just came out real nice.... idk!! a notable piece from this month that couldn't be posted in july cuz of zine nda's was my actual galasynth piece. this was a pretty significant piece since it permanently altered my current rendering/coloring workflow (sorta established in the highlighted piece in april but now with lineart and with a differently textured brush). the touhou poster was created shortly after as a response to this new workflow! other one of note was my perfect cherry blossom poster

AUGUST

brave frobin's design for feh was revealed and i drew it 😼😼😼 (AND I CALLED IT earlier this month. not that i needed to use a lotta braincells but). this was a further step in practicing my new rendering style and see how detailed and meticulous i could get with the colors when i had ONE character to focus on with NO background and i think it was pretty successful. though im glad i posted the wip cuz the colors were probably better there than the rendered... what overthinking does to a mf. another banger from this month was a piece of oc art, it's nothing special but it was a rendered panel redraw of an unpublished comic i made of them and i liked it so yeah. (i also posted my decora una drawing this month which was my scrapped concept for galasynth, but according to my notes it was actually finished in july... but shoutouts to it regardless)

SEPTEMBER

aaaagh this month didn't have much goin on, probably cuz i went back to school around here and the work was getting crazy 💀💀 but i still found time to make something i'm proud of! i drew my oc based on a twitter prompt a mutual of mine shared and i reeeaaally still like it!! especially the details on the corals waow... (i don't really have much else from this month that i consider noteworthy enough to mention here so :P)

OCTOBER

spooky art!!!!! i didn't have much interesting going on this month because again i got very academically demanded of and didn't have much time to draw, BUT i vowed to make a tribute piece to "trick&treat" by oster project for halloween, so i hauled ass to get something ready for that and to have ONE traditional drawing this year (yeah i didn't draw a lot on paper this year unfortunately ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️). other highlights: a traditional drawing of gekiyaku pills for vsynthtober which i did a whole two prompts of (you just saw all of them) + a digital drawing of geki (i really started to like gekiyaku around this time). as much as i still like the latter's colors and texture it sorta started a bad trend where i sorta just drew characters from the shoulders up with not much pose to speak of + no interesting background just for the sake of coloring it. not that it's completely devoid of value but it was a pattern i was starting to get a little to comfortable with. i'll touch more on this in the closing thoughts section, but this new rendering style did sorta hinder my want to experiment with my digital rendering styles compared to previous years where i prided myself on having a bunch.

NOVEMBER

BOTH of my favorite pieces from this month fall in the same trap as the thing i mentioned above. i picked my drawing of hibiki koto for the chart since the pastels added a nice value shakeup. i STILL LIKE IT, it's nice, but did perpetuate this bad habit/shortcut. the other one was my drawing of great sage kandy (current pfp!). the colors here are pretty fuckin nice still imo, so as a coloring tech demo like this flavor of drawing i was doing i think it succeeded.

DECEMBER

AND FINALLY, the end of the year. i finished my december piece early in the year kinda just to check the box off and get this chart off my back (a totally normal thing people do when drawing art throughout the year). i have wanted to do a legacy of lunatic kingdom poster like my eosd one for a while after falling in love with its ost, but it just felt scary. the characters were very detailed and also there were moreeee 😭😭😭 but i got myself to do it cuz i found myself tempted to fall in the same trap as described in october/november (i was gonna draw koishi with the same crop/thought for the bg/emphasis on rendering. you might see her done by the end of the year), but i was like "NO, i must earn this laziness" and finally did something ambitious again. and yeah, i think i did pretty good with this one, even if the crowding of characters and details is sorta unruly.

ok so maybe i'm a little artistically constipated rn

doing this thorough review has sorta gotten me worried. i talked about this in my review last year, but i wondered if my progress has plateaued since i liked a lot of my art throughout the year and didn't see much significant improvement. but looking back no i definitely improved from 2023, and i'd say i broke some new ground with experiments i did throughout the year (the piece from december is still my banner!!). i also had a few different digital rendering styles i played around with for some variety.

this year, after the completion of my galasynth piece, i got really stuck in a specific rendering style and didn't rlly experiment that much with shaking it up. i also didn't feel compelled to try doing solid lineart or rough paintings, and i got stuck in a "halfbody with basic poses and backgrounds" pit when i know i can do better and more cool if i just TRIED.

i am writing this pretty early in december so hopefully i can bring something new to the table..... idk, maybe the differences in my digital coloring styles are only visible to me, but i certainly notice this repetition and wanna break out of my current bubble! i am working on a collab piece that should go live by spring next year that will hopefully do this :) (and i certainly won't be abandoning my current style, at least not overnight/without trying to evolve it, cuz i really like it and have received many kind compliments from people about it! so thank you thank you!!!!)

i look back at some of my pieces from last year and earlier this year and see some variety in how i go about rendering or textures or colors and wanna go back to that. so that'll be my goal for the rest of december + 2025!!!!! ^_^

anyway that's that, it was a good year despite my current crisis, i think i made some good art. also don't be like me and feel obligated to make nice art every month for an aesthetic chart, i do it cuz i draw fast and i am easily satisfied by them. take breaks touch grass drink water, play and draw. yay!

It's the New Year! Yay!

This year, I want to put the pedal to the metal and do my best on Brain Death! The first concept demo was made last June, and I only started making actual progress on the game around mid-October.

I've decided against setting a forecast this time. It was fun for December, but right now I want to focus on what I have. I can't get enthusiastic about adding more while I'm itching for improvement.

~What should I focus on..?~

Normally, I pick and choose what I feel is right. I think for most people my disorganized way of piecing things together would result in a lot of issues—plot-holes and the like—but I frequently step back and go over everything whenever alterations or additions are made.

It's likely what causes me to work so long, only to get minute changes in progress, but it results in good quality and that's all I care about!

You can't build anything nice with a bad foundation, so I take great care in ensuring everything makes sense to me. And yeah, maybe I'm completely delusional and nothing has ever made sense; if that's the case, I'll take your feedback and remold it into something better!

Your newfound awareness heightens with each cycle, the calm motion incrementally nudging you towards wakefulness.

I really, really want to do this for a living. So badly.

november updates

ok so i know november ended yesterday, i did think about titling this post december updates but i know december will be a whole different beast for me... just let me have this... it's been a really long time since i sat down and talked about all my recent projects and goings on!!!! so in case you missed what i've been up to, read on... :)

the free Laios/Marcille fanthology I organised is OUT!!! no tall towers to climb (https://naumin.itch.io/laimar) came out November 10th, and erm only 5 days later than scheduled... it's a big boy at 112 pages with contributions from 14 fans !! I had so much fun organising this and was really touched by the love and care ppl put into their works... fans are so powerful... it's free to download and read digitally or even print and bind your own copy (I am really excited to see your printed and bound copies if you have made them please dont hesitate to @ me...) I love books.. i love making books...

I don't have plans to organise a Volume II however I did start writing a post of my process to maybe help and encourage anyone else who'd like to start a project like this one. It got really lengthy though and I wasn't sure if it was helpful to anyone lol so when I have a minute I really gotta go and edit that thing down

also nobody asked me but the title is based on a poem by 12thc warrior poet Xin Qiji. i guess the tower reminded me of their dungeon misadventures hehe.

the issues oh my god I've been having technical issues with my ipad the last month. I keep getting random lines and marks while drawing in procreate ! A lot of people said it could be my sweater or hand or case touching the screen while I draw but I don't think that is it, plus it's only started recently. It's not my pen and it's not my settings. it apparently COULD be a technical issue with my ipad model which would suck cuz I got this refurbished (from Apple still) so do i have like..... warranty? will they repair it for me :S? idk. I'll have to look into it though sooner or later cuz it's driving me bananas and slowing my output! AGH! I pray she heals on her own overnight. amen.

RAMBLE TIME:

Since I rambled about the timeline thing uh yesterday I had a dumb idea of what he look like if he was in the 2000s BEFORE the present. Jasper changed a lot after Benny was forced to move out (well possibly kicked out cuz Bernice is only defending her "husband") and he seems a bit silly yet sorta manly throughout the years.

Jasper was the next person to move out after turning 18. He was reading to have his place, somewhere in Cleveland, and have his own family so he moved out with his girlfriend before marriage while Bethany, the sister, still lives with Bernice. (Keep that in mind Bethany is still a child [age 8 to 10] during that time.)

January 1st, 2001: 3 years later Jasper returns to Piqua along with his wife and their kid, Kaley/"Kipper" Krupp. The family moved somewhere close to Bernice's location as a surprise and boom. They met again, unfortunately, Jasper didn't meet Benny again. Bernice warns him about it. He didn't understand why but Bernice convinced (well lied, or sum) him that there's nothing to worry about him.

She told Jasper that anything related to Benny should not be spoken about, including in front of Kaley/Kipper. Bernice didn't wanna allow her grandkid to interact with Benny without any context whatsoever. But Jasper agreed and maybe thought his mom was worried and overprotective towards the child.

December 25th, 2001: Just Christmas. Nothing else but Jasper on the other hand wasn't sure why Bernice didn't wanna allow him to interact or FaceTime Benny. Maybe it's her worrisome? Is she hiding something? Not sure. Jasper soon tried his best to not bring up the topic and enjoy the holiday. Hoping he can see the full reason of it.

even a lil gentle bristled toothbrush that's used for the areas where the wires go in n out, or where the phones connected to the body"

Like Steven n Matt being together and having their little family, Steven loves being a part of that. His view of children changes when Max is left outside of Matt's doorstep bc Max was effectively abandoned by one of Matt's siblings

[in this au Matt escaped a cult type deal where the premise was have HELLA kids and submit to the higher power. He was one of 13 siblings]

But Steven is used to children being viewed as a chore and a business liability, but Max changes that and he starts seeing them as jus. Little people who, with the right tools and advice, become adults who can navigate the world and be comfortable asking for help.

phone guys, once they're handed to whoever "took the heroic burden of caring for a machine that's guaranteed to never love you" they have the option to retire without being scrapped

and Steven does just that. He retires. Early retirement, no less. He takes the time to relax, to fix the aches and pains in his back, to remind Matt he's back and there's no need to worry about him being taken away

He had to completely start over and that's already hard enough when you're a teenager, but to also be transgender in this time period was scary

He met Steven towards the end of 8th grade and clung. That was his kindest friend (and his only one)

and having to hear about him becoming a phone guy was devastating. Because that was his person and now he's this shell of his former self

so he deflects while trying to get Steven back bc that's his only person. He doesn't have family, other friends, just a cat and a Steven."

January 7, 2025: "Matt in Safe Haven is the character with the most minimal amount of changes

the biggest things are:

- he's a trans man

- he is estranged from his biological family [long story]

- he's in a romantic relationship with Steven

his family is still well involved (in the cult), including his eldest brother who is Max's (Steven and Matt's adopted son) biological father [because remember, Max is biologically Matt's nephew but he adopts him and raises him as his son]

When Matt escaped he made it clear he'd be unfindable. Changed his whole entire name and he wasn't bothered until Max was dropped on his doorstep due to maxs "refusal to bond with future life companion""

[On January 8th 2025, I was asked if Matt ever told anyone his old name in reference to his original family name. I had this in response]

Come To Bed -> when i lost my mind about buddy daddies earlier this year, this fic really encapsulated everything i felt about the show. i love the narration, i love how it’s fun and playful but also deep, and i remember having so much fun writing it.

Paramour Chapter 20 “Careless Whisper” -> the rewrite of chapter 20 i am UNREASONABLY obsessed with and it’s a shame i can’t post it here without giving so so so much away. i love it so much i am willing to share it with those who don’t care about spoilers lol but its smutty and emotionally charged and everything perfect about amon and hya’s fucked up mess

A Fool’s Errand -> this is in the role swap amon and hya au and tbh this au is So Fun to me. getting to be in amon’s head more often is definitely a treat and the description of the make out is PEAK

Good Feeling -> i will never be normal about hue and jihan and i think i captured their relationship esp in the early days perfectly so i’m just gonna cry about it

Ritual -> i really love this piece and giving life again to some old ocs meant a lot to me. + the smut 🤌🏾🤌🏾

august - laura palmer painting number 1. really quite happy with this. i like her a lot. just not so happy with the background, i think i couldve done it better. (i was trying to make it so that you could see the waiting room peeking out from cracks in the wall but that wasnt obvious and was just kind of stupid so like whateverrrr).

september - laura palmer painting number 2. i actually prefer this one, i put more work into it than the first one? it might not look as good but i was more independent with the colour picking and was doing a lot more of the reference from eye. i also think it looks prettier and i like how the hair turned out :))

october - this was a busy month for me so this is just a cringetober piece. self insert. me as an s-mart employee. UM.anyway.s. i think its cute but definitely my weakest piece on here apart from maybe the bluey art. woah wait i just realised i appear twice on this thing

november - dale cooper painting!!! im really happy with this i think it turned out really nice and pretty and that i captured how angelic he looks in that scene :)) im especially proud of the eyes.
