Chapter 7 was truly an emotional chapter- I wanted to develop the sense of family that these 4 have with each other, and how no matter what they were always there. Pauline and Spike stood by Mario's side through thick and thin, through his breakdowns, through his parents, through him raising a child! Even when Mario wasn't there, they still kept him with them in their memory, putting their family first and caring for Luigi.

It's very rare that you'd find a friendship like that, especially ones who would respect your privacy and want to raise a child alone - even at 16! - and I just felt it was hugely important to show that yes, Mario doesn't have a biological family, but he has his found family! Despite having so little, he also had so much.

If Mario hadn't had Spike and Pauline, we can only wonder where he would've ended up. But that being said, it is also a two way street. Mario has had such a large impact on Spike and Pauline's lives - he's their protector through all hardships, willing to fight anyone for them. Be it an ex girlfriend of Pauline's or one of Spike's old bullies, Mario has always been there for them, he's always managed to make them laugh and spread the joy that he's learnt to have even through hardships.

They love and support each other. And even when Mario is gone, they stuck with what he showed them, and helped him with his child when he couldn't be there.

That's a real family, isn't it?

RAS neverrrr wanted that, only pretended he liked it/them/etc for fanservice and started trying, in various ways, to split up jizzy beginning in season TWO. If you rewatch w/o shipper goggles, it’s really obvious, in fact.

Starting in season 5, shit was so acrimonious they cast an entirely new woman to be Jug’s love interest because they literally couldn’t be in the same room (and we do have that clip of PP throwing shit at Cole, as Jug, BTS in season 4 to support this, along with other stuff).

RAS had always wanted Barfie (and, again, a show all about everybody loves Douchie), so he ran with that....

Additionally, a LOT of the couples on the show were IRL couples largely at the same point and it was why it happened.....and they were split up when the actors split. Vagey (twice), Tolars/Minkle, etc....

No idea why it upsets any of you, the facts are on full display....and it’s precisely why there was never gonna be jizzy endgame.

Oh also? KokeJ never had a “crush” on Slizzy, he did have one on Cole, tho (probably still does!)----and even if he had? He was like 18 at the time so it has nothing to do with Barfie, currently....

"Felix stop!," you nearly yelp, gritting your teeth as you try to get the batter done while your boyfriend rests his chin atop your shoulder, his arms loosely wrapped around your waist. "M' not doing anything though," he lazily says, voice husky as his fingers dip under the fabric of your hoodie, drumming against your skin.

"Sure you aren't," you reply, an edge to your voice as you turn your head slightly to look at him. He only grins in response, continuing his ministrations while sneaking a casual glance at you. You turn your attention back to the batter, determined to make the cookies worth the effort you're putting in. "Lix I'm warning you. Quit playing around and help me," you whine after a minute, your arms growing tired from the whisking.

Sighing, he unclasps his arms, stepping to your side to get the cookie molds ready, a pout evident on his face. Giggling, you nudge him slightly, a questioning expression on your face as he turns to look at you. "You know damn well why I'm pouting," he mutters, inching just a little closer to you. "Cuz you're jealous of a damn batch of cookies," is all you say, rolling your eyes as you place the bowl on the counter. Dipping a ladle into the mix, you tug on his arm, pulling him towards yourself before signaling for him to open his mouth.

He does, eyes lighting up as your soon-to-be-made cookies tingle his taste buds. "It's really good, love," he says excitedly, quickly picking up a spoon and scooping up some batter, this time for you to taste. You can't help but smile at how happy he looks, all signs of his previous sulking gone as he waits for your reaction expectantly. After all, it had been him who had chosen the flavors that would go in, while you had offered to do the whisking, eager to show off just how strong your arms are (you would regret it in hindsight).

Smiling softly, you reach your hand out, failing to notice how Felix's expression changes as you take the spoon into your mouth. Too engrossed in licking the tool clean, you don't see the way his eyes darken watching you swirl your tongue around its surface. It's only when you hear a sharp gasp that you look up, only to be met with your boyfriend's gaze, resting at your lips. He seems to he often in a world of his own, so much so that he doesn't even register you calling out to him.

"Lix?," you try again, causing him to break out of his trance as his eyes remains fixated to the corner of your mouth. Next thing you know, his lips are on yours, a gasp escaping you as you stiffen up at the sudden contact. Not liking your lack of response, Felix wraps his arms around you, pulling you closer until you finally kiss him back. Your lips mold together like puzzle pieces, moving in perfect sync as the spoon falls to the floor, your hands finding their home in his blonde locks.

He gently nips on your bottom lip, deepening the kiss as he dips your head back for a better angle. You gladly oblige, your tongue flicking out to meet his as he pulls you flush against his chest. The kiss is soft and gentle, sweet giggles being shared as the two of you enjoy each other's embrace. You don't always get to spend quality time alone, so moments like these are hard to pass up on. You remain like that for a while, pulling away only when oxygen becomes an issue.

"That was sudden," you chuckle as he rests his forehead against yours, your reaction being mimicked by him. "Well, you had a little something on your face," he mutters, pulling away with a smirk tugging at his lips. "And you just couldn't keep your hands, or rather, your lips, to yourself, right?," you quip, expression turning dry but voice still carrying a teasing tone.

Soon enough, you go back to what you were doing, the batter making its way into the molds. But as your fingers brush against his every now and then, you can't help but feel a spark pass between the two of you, the short makeout session having had ignited a fire inside you. Into the oven the cookies go, leaving a heavy silence hanging in the kitchen. You look at him, words at the tip of your tongue but refusing to come out.

Clearing your throat, you suggest washing the dishes while you wait for the cookies to be ready, and Felix can only agree, albeit a little slowly. "I'll do the washing, you do the rubbing," he suggests, making you nod your head in response. And off you go, on your mission to make the utensils sparkle again, the atmosphere cooling down as you regain your playfulness.

"You look so cute with your nose scrunched up like that," you say with a laugh, soon ending in a gasp when you feel water being thrown at you, Felix's giggles being heard in the wake of the "Hey!" that escapes your lips. It doesn't take you long to turn the kitchen into a battleground, gloves gone and cold water meeting skin as your clothes get soaked. It's a happy sight though, your laughs bouncing back against the walls and squeals slipping past one of your lips whenever the other manages to catch you off-guard. "Stop!," your boyfriend giggles, but you're not having it, hands full of water as you get ready to splash him.

But he's quicker, his hand gripping your wrist as you let out a surprised yelp. And then you're back against him, face inches away from his as you look up at him. "Hi there," you mutter, trying your best to suppress the smile that threatens to take over your face. "Hi," he smirks, his arms around your form once more as he gets lost in your eyes, those eyes that he loves so much. It's like time stops for a moment, and now, it's you who leans in first, Felix following suit as your lips meet his midway, the kiss somewhat different from your earlier attempt.

It's hotter this time, more desperate as hands roam, rubbing against skin and tugging at hair.
