It was a warm afternoon as you got your scuba gear on, preparing to dive in the depths of Fontaine on a mission to look for flowers for your beloved boyfriend, Lyney’s, magic show tonight. You latched in your helmet and dove below the surface, sighing in satisfaction at the cool water enveloping your body after having been sweating all day. The fish danced around you happily and the rays flapped their wings gracefully on their way to find places to float around.

You reached the seabed, swimming around and beginning to collect the flowers that your boyfriend had requested. You stop after a few seconds to listen to a sound you could not initially identify. Listening closely, you follow the sounds of what seem to be sniffles over a ridge of sand. Peeking over the edge, you see a little blue form with a diving helmet on, balled up with his head in the pit of his elbow.

“Freminet?” You swam up to the form, recognizing Lyney’s younger brother, a sad expression on the screen of your diving helmet. You begin to rub circles into his back as he sniffles, embarrassed to have been found crying alone. “What happened?” You offer him a warm smile, encouraging him to confide in you.

“*Sniff* I- I made a fool of myself in the Court of Fontaine today… I- *sniff* I fell and dropped a whole basket of peaches…” Taking pity on him, you ask him if he wants a hug, then you pull him into your arms and rub comforting circles on his back.

“Wanna go back up? I’ll walk you home.” The boy nods and you swim back up with him in your arms.

Arriving on the beach, you take off his diving helmet and reveal his red, puffy eyes. You internally coo at how cute he looks but remember that he is in a vulnerable state and mentioning what he looks like would likely not be appropriate at the moment. So, after cupping a comforting hand on his cheek, you take his hand and walk him home.

Arriving at the triplets’ door (I know they aren’t all related, but for simplicity’s sake…), you knock and wait for the light pads from inside to reach you. The door swings open to reveal Lyney in his pajamas with a surprised expression.

“Y-Y/n! And Freminet!” He blushes slightly at having noticed you before his own younger brother and at having been seen in pajamas by someone he has been trying to impress. You gently push Freminet in front of you, handing him over to Lyney who hugs him shortly, ruffles his hair, then passes him on to Lynette who takes his hand, nods at you thankfully, then takes him into the home. Lyney steps out onto the porch and closes the door behind him.

“Uh… Thanks for taking my brother home. He can disappear better than myself, sometimes…” He rubs the back of his neck, a little embarrassed at the situation. You had only declared each other officially boyfriends about a month prior, so the whole relationship thing was a new concept to the ‘suave’ Lyney the public knew. It pleasantly surprised you to discover that he was actually very easy to fluster, making for a very cute boyfriend to tease occasionally.

“Yeah, no problem. I found him on the seabed crying while I was looking for your flowers, so I comforted him and brought him here. Oh, here you go by the way.” You hand him the flowers he needed for his show while smiling warmly at him. The tips of his ears immediately reddened, both at his immediate thoughts of marriage and at what the offer of flowers looked like. He knew this was not a love confession or anything of the sort, but the current situation could have fooled an outside observer.

He stepped forward and threw his arms around you, sandwiching the flowers between the two of you. He buried his face in your neck in an attempt to hide his face exploding with heat.

“… I love you…” That was all he managed to say after a few moments. You laughed, placing a kiss on the top of his head.

“I love you too, but… Watch the flowers.” He pulled himself away from you immediately, realizing he was damaging his precious show flowers.

“AH! Sorry! Uhm… Did you wanna come inside for a bit?” He looked into your eyes with a shy smile on his face, his cheeks and ears still red from before.

I just noticed that Charlie and Lucifer both have the same rainbow decoration thing. In the Sir Pentious episode, when Angel is showing that Sir Pentious put a camera in the book shelf, the decoration is on a side table. And then you can see one in Lucifer's workshop in the wall before he says "Take that depression!" Not a big thing, but kinda neat.

I believe the color represents the color of the sky from each ring. Pride ring is red, wrath is orange, gluttony is yellow, greed is green, Lust is blue, envy is purple and sloth is pink

Given that Charlie canonically has multiple overlords on her phone's contacts, it wouldn't surprise me if Lucifer has them too in addition to their little map of hell

Just got the parrot trinket in sdv!!! I had the quiver before, and that's invaluable, but the parrot follows me around ^u^. Apparently he'll find me gold coins from monsters, which I think just means normal money but who knows. I'll definitely have to try him out! Even went out and bought the bird house lol. Not sure what I'll name him. Probably Davy.

In all my previous saves that got past a year, I had the sun totem things that let you teleport across your farm. It's been three years and I still haven't gotten the quest that unlocks it, and I'm nearly going SPARE. I used them so much! My daily routine takes until 1 pm! I don't have time for that! Wizard plz.

And I got my first gold animal cracker!! I gave them to my goat Mary (she's got a brother, Peter), and if I find another I'll give it to him, but after that I'll probably give it to my dino Smaug. Depends.

Tier three farm cave thing! I took sword watering can and now pickaxe. Wonder what I'll get when I get all five...

Unlocked ginger island earlier but it's only now I'm rich enough to afford the ferry and I've maxed out all the relationships I'm able to give it the time it needs.

Thinking of getting the beach monolith first. The mountain one is basically useless, the desert is great but twice the price when tickets are 500g right outside my door anyway. The ginger island one is extooooortionate. My main problem is beach events (and the ferry) take so long so get to if I'm cutting it fine, so the beach monolith is by far the best option. Beach totems are easier to make than farm ones, anyway, I simply can't get enough fiber to both keep my animals fed on fresh grass AND use it for all the crafts I need. So much fiber for a blessing statue, it's unreal. Got all the other ingredients forever ago.

The nice thing about sdv is that I've got pretty much everything that isn't super late game, but it still feels like there's so much to do. Befriend Leo, get lobsters for the raccoons, there's the triangle shaped tanuki by the sewers, get my house the way I want it, decorate my farm, finish filling up the shed with kegs and jars, organise the quarry, reach 100 in skull mines (and figure out what the skull button does), get into the walnut door, apparently there's pirates, enchant my sword to max level, get the last two super perks, unlock the sun teleporters, fix the animal grass issue, find the slime ring so my tiger slimes don't kill me (my second slime egg :D) (they have actually beaten me to death and I had to send gil in to get my stack of iridium cheese), get a horse, fix my crops garden, get the last fish pond, plant crab traps in the river, figure out a way to fit the junimo hut, win the crane game at the movies (there's some decor I loved in a previous world), figure out the blocked path by the train tracks, buy every book from the bookseller, get the achievements, finish the museum (I'm missing like. Five things), finish the bone tent and answer the questions, unlock the sleep hut, get every monster reward, find more crackers, get the max score in the summer lulau (I got it first year EVERY OTHER RUN what am I doing wrong?!), get the home scepter (it's pretty cool but EXPENSIVE), get the mango (?) tree, rename my dog somehow, dye my new skirt, redecorate my pet room cuz it's terrible, find the right song for the barn. It's all go!

The Magistrates Diary ♡ Entry 1

My Journey began at 4:08 am, after loading and veryfiying. I made a Whatsapp chat to record all of this :D The intro cutscene reminded me a lot of the unknown god scene from genshin. (I apologize for the comparisons to hoyogames, that how I connect info and make it go into my brain-)

The animations are beautiful and the goddess is etheral. I picked the female rover! cuz i thought the short hair looked so cool and then i noticed she joined the rat tail gang :/

Running around was so fun and Yangyang and chixia are adorable. I almost freaked out when I first saw Baizhi, she's so pretty.

One thing I noticed almost immediately is that the dialoge is really messy (cut off, fading out ??).

But the animation when they talk is so nice, like it has variety and not just the same two Expressions for every character, it gives them more charm.

AND I found the skip button - I told myself not to abuse it tho cuz I wanna know the story and understand everything.

I love that we have an actual name in the game for now like i love rover sm.

The thing about me finding out about Echos: "Oh i unlocked echos hihi!" "no echo for me :(" "WHAT" "ECHO FOR ME?"

I absorbed the echo with my body and was SO confused.

The OST is so cool and nice to listen to. I almost exploded over their facial expressions.

THEEEEEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE DOUBLE JUMP - best thing that ever happened.

short environment rant before I continue!! I love the way the open world feels so far! it's amazing to see a seemingly normal open world with little oddities and familiar entities! like the enemies can be turtles, shrooms and random floaty things or stone golems. Some of the animals I saw so far were obviously birds, lizards and fish but there's also rabbits and goats running around which I find really cute.

the design of the world feels really nice too like the colors aren't like "boom in your face!" but rather bend well. Things like the villages and the huge cherry tree stand out that way and I love that so far. and it feels so peaceful and immersing?? Does that make sense??

I found out how to increase stamina and i can run up walls!!! It's amazing, as well as the dodging ability. I was playing honkai impact just hours before the release so i was already used to evasion skills hihi!!

Another thing that started bothering me is that the dialog of the main story is kind of repetitive and doesn't feel that natural (yet), but I think it's due to the localization issues kurogames had before. I'm sure It'll get better soon!

Then I came up with my goals for this patch but I'm in no way pressuring myself to meet them or play because I want this game to stay fun! FUN!!!

Also it's so cool that yangyang can feel stuff in the wind please do more with that!! We can read tacet discord coordinates?? Yangyang can also hear in the wind?? that ahhh so cool

We met scar - "Mr bad man Mr Scar okay he's the bad guy??" "Yangyang found a cat and vanished" "Mr bad guy is a little insane" "his eyes are freaky" "WHY DOES HE KNOW ABOUT OUR BACK STORY" "HIS NAILS ARE SO LONG FOR WHAT"

"I KNEW IT THEY'RE ALL SUSSY" "lowkey I trust him with the lore dumps but not so much with him wanting to be our friend" "he's possessive girl get a grip" (lowkey he's so flirty and hot and ngh) "okay I think he's really not lying, like I said, not friend, but a reliable source. gonna call him Mr lore!" "Jinhsi is in on it too girl what are you doing?" "So Mr lore wants equality between the resonators and normal humans?"

The story book tale is actually so cool and while I as playing i tried to understand and puzzle the pieces together! " The black lamb was their scapegoat… they sacrificed her… but there's a black goat in the back still. The flock blamed someone again after the shepherd stopped granting wishes. The village is guilty of their own greed."

It turned out that Scar wasn't the shepherd and I never suspected as such, he seems more like a black lamb himself!

Then he trapped us in his Elysium, which is an interesting ability. I don't know if you guys have the same "problem?" but I'm so fast at beating the enemies that the voicelines are too slow. I haven't even leveled the weapons and echos.

We met scars companion? The spider lily girl. Her voice is adorable and she's soo cool!!! The character designs in general are amazing.

So Yangyang is sus of scar and eventhough I'm as well, I still think he is right in some aspects and the story book like tale he told holds at least some meaning and is mostly true.

SANHUA FOLLOWED US?? I KNEW SHE WAS STILL INVOLVED!

ok so I found a diary in the quest which basically confirms what scar told me. okay done with I act III, dailies unlocked!!! I need to reach Union Level 14 to continue which was to be expected!

Im gonna spend some of my wave plates and them I'll log off for today. I feel like I got a vague understanding of the world and the mechanics so far and I really don't need to overdo it since I wanna have fun with the game going forward!!!

No, I don't think so. I think my parents just liked the way it sounded? I never asked either of them about it, to be honest. I was always just Chidori haha!

2 - When was the last time you cried?

HmMMmm. When the mechanic shop charged me like 200 sturges(1) for their last repair part for my boots. I cried so much holy shit, that was my entire paycheck for the past three weeks. If the Bianchi's(2) weren't so good to me I would probably be homeless again, but gooood those mechanics are mean.

sturges are the currency of the world, named after the now extinct sturgeon fish :)

the Bianchi's are amehana's family, they run the medium restaurant chain BIG TOPZ CHIKIN N' SHRIMP. as they've known and cared for chidori since he was young, they look after him like family since he has none of his own :)

Nah, but I don't think I'd want kids. That's more Ame's kind of thing, honestly. I can't imagine changing my life to work around someone else’s. To be there and then... potentially be gone. A lot of their physical um… form? Usually I don’t pay attention to people unless i’m TMing and that’s usually so like, if something happens I know if I can get them out of harms way or not, y’know?

Ahhhhh *checks mirror* Yellow… Brown? If that’s a color? Like it’s a really light brown but there’s no green so it can’t be hazel… I dunno honestly ww

BOTH! I hate movies that end with everyone being dead and sad cuz that sucks and if I want to live in a fantasy world like at least let the death mean something. I’d say the same thing about real life but sometimes death is so… meaningless. Y’know? It’s really bleak to think about. So, I don’t wanna deal with that in a movie BUT it has to be cool and action packed and a lil scary to be interesting!

I can break dance pretty well! I have a photographic memory of the city and all of its routes :3c

I dunno, to be honest. It’s something I never asked my parents about before and I don’t know if I care that much to be honest. I’m here! That’s what matters.

Break dancing, spending time with friends, ummm… Hoverboarding? I guess. I like to do stuff! So I’m willing to try anything :3

Nah. I’m not home enough to take care of one, and the permit process to even Get a pet is too tedious y’know? There aren’t really many pets left around, so you have to be registered to have one and like, they can come and take your pet away from you if you’re an unfit owner and shit so like, I’d rather not deal with that.

12 - What sports do you/have you played?

I used to play air hockey(1)! It was a lot of fun but I was never like super good at it. I got cut from the team a lot, but they’d always bring me back on when they needed an extra player! I mostly enjoyed just doing it, I never really got people who cried if we won or lost? I just wanted to enjoy doing it so I did!

air hockey referring to actually using hover boots to play something akin to hockey as we know it in the air. there’s a puck that has its own magnetic field and the sticks are basically just giant magnets that keep the puck aloft.

Mm, school wasn’t really for me—like high school. But, the train academy (authors note: that i will properly name eventually…) was everything to me! I got to learn more about the history of our city, trains, combat, how to be a train master and stuff so. That I enjoyed.

ngl i’m not a huge love languages guy but van d’s is verbal expressions of love with a dash of physical touch (“i love you i love you i love you” while being all clingy) and buzzcut’s is just. being soft with van driessen while being hostile or at best apathetic toward everyone else. his love language is love

What would they describe as their perfect date?

bradley’s is doing one-armed pushups for an hour while dave sits on his back reading a magazine and fawning over how strong he is. david’s is them going camping, doing edibles and stargazing

buzzcut! van driessen waited sooooo long...he didn’t want to ruin their work relationship and he’s the most patient guy in the world so he just suffered in silence until buzzcut finally asked him out. i like thinking that they both had feelings for each other but were oblivious to the other’s feelings and the students had a bet as to when something would Finally happen

generally dave will take the spiders outside if he’s alone, he’s not really bothered by them, but if they’re in the same room together brad will take them out. the exception is shit with too many legs like centipedes, dave will fucking shriek until brad kills them

they both do in their own ways, but i think bradley worries just a little bit more since dave’s been through SO much on the show. dave’s more vocal about it, though, he’s like “do you have your coat? scarf? gloves? wallet? keys? is your phone charged?”. brad’s more like “i don’t think [XYZ] is a good idea” and if he’s really worried he insists on tagging along with dave

they spend a LOT of time cuddling on the couch watching pbs. they also like camping, david for all the cool nature stuff and bradley cuz he gets to go fishing. he’s a fishing guy. they also like. idk what the adult phrase is but parallel play. david reads while bradley whittles, imo he’d be into woodcarving. they just enjoy the silence and each other’s company

BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD. buzzcut kind of admires van driessen’s patience for them but he also dislikes his lenience and thinks it enables them; and after they start dating he reeeeally hates how they walk all over the one person who gives a shit about them and how dave just lets himself be treated that way. david, of course, thinks he’s being way too hard on them, they’re neglected 15 year olds who shower once a month and live on nachos

all of their parents suck so they’re not really involved but in my liddle backstories i made for them, bradley has 2 older sisters who LOVE david, they’re so excited to have a new baby brother who does all the “girly” stuff bradley wouldn’t let them do with him as kids (they’re in their 50s now but that doesn’t stop them). they braid his hair and do his nails and stuff and brad’s like “dave you don’t have to put up with this if you don’t want it” and dave’s like “no bradley i like it :)”

if tom (david’s deceased older brother) was still alive i think he and brad would get along; imo they’re both into more “masculine” hobbies than dave is so they’d often talk about those. ofc tom dying in the gulf war and brad being fucked from his time in the military definitely (and rightfully/correctly) contributes to van driessen’s sheer loathing of the military

Star Wars and the MCU are both owned by Disney so you should totally watch their movies and tv shows sometime - classic good vs evil like in the animated and live action Disney movies and tv shows. I live in America and we the people would love for you to come visit us! But you say that you cannot pop round to the Disney parks because it’s too expensive - where do you live, may I ask, because there are discounts on transportation like flights and trains.

PS: I love the rabbit! So adorable! I’ve never had pets but I would not mind ‘seeing’ a man with pets - especially dogs because some of them are able to fetch! :) Have you or your family had pets before Ghost?

Oh, I know they are 😅 And trust me I've tried to get into it (the MCU at least) but it's just not my cup of tea unfortunately. I love x-men, though, if that counts?? I'm not sure if it does! 😅

I'm Aussie, so I'm very far away 😅 We had rumours in August that we might get a Disney park for our own but it hasn't been mentioned since; unfortunately i don't trust it 😔 And besides, I'm trying to save for a home at the moment! ^^ After that I'll probably save up for some kind of trip! Wednesday

I didn’t get to see BC yesterday, but I did after work. I had to stop at the tailors in the D real quick and ran into Stormy and Aurrius (?) the golden star guy. He’s pretty nice, I think. He was making a hip hop outfit, with gold colors, so I suggested a hoodie. It looked way better than the cornrows he

I met her at her apartment. It was nice to be with her alone for a while. She talked about training and started with.. I guess that was a spanking. It was intense, and it hurt, but it also made me feel strangely safe? My powers keep the pain from getting to be unbearable, and I heal. Guess that says a little about intensity there. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been hit before. Not like this, but speaking out of regular combat, in correction, or for.. whatever it was? Someone else’s fun? It wasn’t often – I’m not stupid, and I generally don’t invite it. Nature of the whole signing contracts, I guess.

After, when I had a little time to think about it, I kind of wondered if there was something wrong with me, but that idea didn’t stick. Whatever might be “wrong”, BC and Max both don’t seem to see me as being broken like that. I don’t feel broken – bruised, maybe. That’s getting better. I’ve been in such a haze of happy, it’s almost a shock when bad thoughts pop back up. I won’t manufacture drama and cling to ideas of being some overwrought victim. I like being happy. I’m glad BC and Max are both so understanding when I have those little shadowy moments, when the past doesn’t seem anywhere near far enough away. And it isn’t, not yet. I know I need to heal and grow here. I need to be careful, and not hurt anyone in the process, too.

It’s not a bad analogy I keep coming back to… Air and Kerosene. Both make me burn bright and make me hungry for more of them. I get selfish, and I just want more.

I’m supposed to think about what she did.. like I can stop.. and think about what I want her to do.. O.o Boggled. How can I answer that? I thought I knew what there was to do, and yet, I don’t even know where to begin. Things that excite me? Ugh. It feels so.. how am I supposed to say it? Why is it so hard? Worse.. which IT am I even trying to say? Oh.. god.. I have the weekend to think about all that. Max give me strength??

Oh, yeah, BC and Eliza are going to Singapore. That’s so cool. BC deserves to have time with those she loves. I’m a greedy child, I’d keep her to myself if I could.. but then, I wouldn’t be able to fit in time with Max, and I don’t like that idea at all. I can’t believe I get to spend so much time with either one of them, I don’t want to monopolize their lives.. but also.. I kinda do.. I want to be selfish and kidnap them both and be.. ridiculously cuddled forever. And you know.. the stuff I don’t know how I’m supposed to say out loud.. heh.

BC woke me up, always the best morning. We headed in, and caught Max in the D. BC fell hard for the Gehenna crier, heheheh.. she dumped all of her lovers and swore her undying allegiance to the crier.. But.. lucky for us, the crier wasn’t interested lol. Max and I headed in, and oh, MY god.. why can I not get over how handsome he looked in that fancy coat. So Faustian and handsome. I opted for “sacrificial virgin” sorta.. lol.. and I got to see BC and Eliza in their Devil and Angel costumes. Kinda figure we had a whole story! Max attempts to sacrifice me to BC for power and Eliza saves me lol Something like that heheh

It was fun – the bar has a COOL aquarium in the floor (apparently, I like fish tanks. I hadn’t seen that many, I guess, never really thought about it, but I keep seeing them, and they are just SO cool)

Only a moment or two I could have skipped. I felt like an idiot, being disturbed by fireball. It reminds me of my attempts to be a person while with the Black Holes. Like.. it has a cute name, but it’s terrible. BC traded me drinks, and I felt bad, cuz the drink looked cool as hell. Her highball was good.

Max had whiskey.. that stuff is evil… but not like you think. I don’t like it.. but it makes his breath smell so good, and he tastes.. yikes. SO good. I’m glad he likes it, but I hardly need more temptation to kiss him. I wonder what BC would taste like after whiskey? Heh, new club experiment. Maybe, instead of points, I’m going to have to keep track of things I like and don’t like.. cuz.. then I have to try, like… everything, right?

We looked out at the nightmare monsters outside the bar.. and I do not like what it made me think of. Why it made me think of THAT, I don’t know. Ew. It wasn’t even what you’d call a good analogy, but.. I suddenly thought of Kass, and her favorite jewelry; Kass, and a cottage and sunburns. I had to stop looking, and that helped. Weirdest part was none of that view bothered me till I heard the word nightmares, and I don’t even think I have nightmares? I don’t remember them.

We went go dance.. and I snagged a hug from Max before we dropped down to the dance floor. He’s so solid and somehow hot and cold at the same time. It helped, and I actually forgot all about it by the time we rejoined BC and Eliza. They do that, BC and Max. Make me forget to remember. That’s the right way to say it. I don’t forget the things I don’t want to think about, but I forget to remember them. Sometimes they take me by surprise, like, how could I get out from under that shadow for even a moment? BC and Max are so bright, the shadow just.. has no power.

Eliza and BC danced all close and sexy with me, making me the second most awesome sandwich yet, heh. Had a chance to snuggle and kiss Max a little before I left, tell him again how sexy that coat made him. I’ll never tell, but I like it way better than the brown leather one but go figure. BC still keeps calling him a silver fox.. I don’t think he minds, despite the difference in his age/hair. They don’t make him look old to me, it’s just.. Max’s hair. I like it.

So.. I went to work.. and I had to leave them. And worse, I forgot to get a picture of all the great costumes. Well, OUR getups anyway. We looked great. And Max promised me a pillow fort at Black Cat Tuesday, so this weekend, when I know BC will be in Singapore, I’m going to make Max stay with me as much as I can. Call me a selfish bitch, I don’t care. I’ll be missing BC, and Max is staying in that Hotel all alone, there’s no reason for him not to. Besides, the bed is huge, so even if we only sleep, there’s plenty of room. He’s got to bring more pillow.

And you better bet I hope we do more than sleep. I don’t want to rush thing in any way, but I do want to show Max how much I care about him. I love BC, I adore BC. Max.. I think he was hurt by someone, and I think he’s protecting himself a little. Being careful. I don’t blame him. I threw my trust in with BC just about as fast as I did.. no. That’s not fair. Whatever this is with BC took a few days to really become what it is, and it grows every day. Not bigger, exactly, it’s already all of me, but evolving. That’s exciting. Max was like.. a nice person to flirt with, then.. a friend that’s safe to cuddle with, and now.. he’s so important to me. I do love him.. but we’re still working up to that. Does he love me? Doesn’t matter. He likes me, he likes being with me, and if he never loves me, that’s ok. I’ll still love him. I’ll be.. very.. very.. very sad. But I need to be able to be on my own. I don’t want to think about that, being without BC or Max, but I know that’s something I need to be able to do. I don’t have to DO it, maybe, because I have them now, and maybe I’ll be lucky to always have someone who cares about me. But if I don’t, I can’t fall apart or make terrible choices. I need to know that what BC has done for me – what Max does for me – wasn’t done in vain, or efforts wasted. I must be able to be a person, for myself and for them.

Required very little engineering except the Bayliner Hall and that's what that particular his name is kidd and he's a famous pirate and he's wanted all of the world but he used a specific s*** and it was a Spanish galleon. We use a lot of aluminum in some things but it's for a certain application it's very strange metal because it comes to like electricity it conducts it very well discharges it well you see it on an EMP devices on the vehicles. We have a lot of news the morlock took a bow today and they lost huge numbers of people but they also evacuated huge numbers the evacuation today totaled probably 5 million octillion and the number was like we said around 15% and it's dropped to 10% off Island which is pretty bad throughout the night it's going to continue 15 to 20% until probably a couple days from now that they're going to be all petered out from evacuating and the rest will figure out that they should have left and we'll have to seek other avenues but there's going to be a lot of rogue stuff going on in foreigners are using them for and they're here too and it's very nasty okay you wouldn't want to stay behind a lot of them are sitting their ways and don't get it I think it's their power in there really sadly mistaken bja actually Captain Kidd was very happy with it and impressed.

I'm a lot more to say but wow this is much better and I know it bring it back to me now it's coming back and I think they're going to do well and we're going to do well and they're not

And the Second said that while he used to be able to use his quirk casually but now it wouldn't be able to be used the same since OFA overpowered it so much? Now im wondering if he also had an explosion quirk and its just a whole ass nuke now.

I kinda have something thats been frustrating me ever since I read this chapter. People have been saying Bakugou's heart stopped. I do not think Baku's heart stopped, I think Shiggy ripped it out. How the fuck would they all be able to tell his heart stopped? Literally none of them have that kind of quirk. It has to be something visible, and something about his heart. So. Shigaraki ripped out his heart. Look at Mirio's face.LOOK AT AIZAWA'S FACE. There's no way it ain't something horrifying like that.

FURTHER EVIDENCE. That is a hole right there.

God can you imagine Deku's face when he finally gets there and sees this? He's gonna either blow up, or breakdown, or both.

Real World Inspiration

for additional physical features you can add to dragons! (previous post was an edit of the D&D black dragon. Next post will be some examples of dragon designs I made.)

The classic european dragon design used in a lot of mainstream fantasy is already kind of a mashup of many different animal features. Bat wings, long swan-like neck, lizard scales and tail, feet that look like reptilian lion feet or bird of prey talons, heads that are partway between a horse and a crocodile, horns like a goat or ram. They’re chimeric and that’s fun to work with. But they do often end up being mostly just big scales, a pair of horns, and then a lot of random spikes. And that’s fine, but there are so many weird physical structures that exist on real world animals which could easily be used on dragons. Let’s look at them in a series of specific categories.

Since dragons are usually depicted as reptilians, osteoderms and modified scales would be the most common way to add lots of spikes in a realistic manner. Iguanas have a whole crest of tall osteoderms on their spines, and the bumps all along a crocodile's back are also osteoderms.

Osteoderm means "bone skin" and they're basically just calcified skin deposits. Boney, but lightweight, not as sturdy as bones, and not at all connected to the skeleton. Armadillo armor is also a form of osteoderm.

Scales are made of a similar material to fingernails, hair, and feathers, and sometimes they get really spiky without necessarily including osteoderm structures. I used a porcupine fish for that but it turns out science is uncertain what their spines actually are. The thorny devil lizard is a good example though, that thing is nothing but spiky scales (even its big facial horns have no bone underneath)

And of course things like echidna, porcupines, and hedgehogs are covered in spikes that are just really thick sturdy hairs. Evolution is bizarre.

And those are all very effective ways to put lots of spikes on a dragon without adding extra weight from bone spikes that emerge from the skeleton.

Wattles are pretty common in many bird species. Extra neck flesh that usually starts by the jaw and may be connected further along the neck but doesnt have to be. The umbrella bird here has a retractable wattle covered in feathers which it can move to make it look like it has a very long pinecone hanging off its neck. I love how weird it is.

A similar structure is the dewlap, which can be found on lizards like anoles and iguanas, but can also be found in birds and even mammals. It's a fleshy protrusion from the neck which can be small and dangly or rather large. Sometimes it's ts flat, but sometimes it's chubby, like on some rabbits.]

And of course we have catfish barbels, which are like thick fleshy whiskers. Lots of asian dragon depictions include barbels because they take inspiration from carp, like the koi fish.

I'm not sure the frilled lizard counts as having a crest but I had to include it somewhere. I did not look hard enough to learn exactly how it raises its frill, but I did find that the frill only has two very thin bones in it, right by the jaw. The rest is just really precise musculature I guess.

Chameleon crests are built on bone structures, like the ceratopsian dinosaurs bony neck frills. And of course, there are countless bird species that have feathery crests of all forms.

I know I said on my posts correcting official dnd dragons that I disliked the neck fins on those, but fins can look like that with sturdy points and scalloped edges. I just dont like the way they're usually drawn on dragons, with a singular lonely neck fin that has thick bones in it. It would be much more fun if it was accompanied by other fin structures to create a more cohesive creature. May as well go all the way if you're going to add any frill, right?

This is the section for the weird miscellaneous stuff I basically never see in dragon art. Which is a shame because the real world is full of the weirdest creatures. Weird noses serve purposes by interacting with scent in complex ways, or in the mandril's case, being a point of display. Noses with weird structures can also create different noises for communication.

Lots of creatures have ballooning display structures. Usually for the purposes of attracting a mate and competing for territory. Sage grouses, prairie chickens, frigate birds, and of course frogs, all have weird throat structures they can inflate for communication, attraction, and intimidation. Dragons could even use it as part of their breath weapons. Why not have an extra sac in the throat to carry a special gas or something?

And lures! Angler fish, snapping turtles with tongues that look like worms, and this absolutely bizarre snake that has evolved modified scales on the tip of its tail to resemble a spider. Many animals use specially adapted body parts to lure prey, which then allows them to hunt without expending too much energy. Being a predator is hard work, and most predators will back away from a fight because they do not want to spend the energy or risk injury when they can find an easier target.

Dragons are huge! They must need so much meat to maintain their energy stores. I think it's sensible for some dragons to live quietly, spending as little energy as possible while they use adapted body parts to lure prey. A dragon in a cave with a modified tail that resembles treasure? A green dragon disguised as a small hill in a field with a long tongue that resembles a delectable plant to lure in cattle? Dragons in dark environments with bioluminescent lures? I know big dramatic dragon battles are fun, but this is just such a good concept I'm sad I don't really see it used.

Anyway theres a lot of real world physical features that I think could be used on dragons more. My method of finding interesting and unique ideas for dragons is usually to just google "weird/cool (insert animal here)".

Let’s talk TroPreCure! (^∀^ 🌺)

i’m so stupidly proud of this dumb pun “tropurikyua~”, hahahahaha

Last post of the year and wow is there are lot to be excited for!

I even had to make a list for the stuff I want to talk about and I’m sure I already forgot one or two things but we’ll get to them as we continue to float~ along the wave to February 28th, mmkay? :)

Now for what has peaked my interest so far. And yes, we have to talk about the following first:

1) HealPre the shortest Precure season??

Unless they plan for double features in February (which I doubt but you never know), HealPre is likely going to reach only 45 episodes long instead of the usual 48~50 before TroPre I’m using this shortening of the title for now so if there’s a better alternative, tell me and I’ll switch out begins its broadcast.

Understandable because the producers probably want to get back to their normal scheduling as soon as possible (toy sales, y’know) and I suspect pushing the start of the new season back by a month is the most they’re willing to compromise.

As for me, I’m quite happy about this since HealPre’s lost its hold on my attention a while ago so the sooner TroPre gets here, the better. Though the downside might be a scrambled climax and a rushed, underwhelming ending for HealPre (I dunno if it’s January’s titles that feel a bit messy or if the hiatus is still throwing me off) but whatever. We’ll refresh ourselves with the new blood Cures so it’s all good.

2) Tropical movie announced for Autumn 2021, no All Stars??

First saw this mentioned on Youtube somewhere but it’s all over the fandom forums by now. I mean, HealPre’s movie is set for March, the usual time slot for All Stars release. If Toei intended for there to be an All Stars in 2021, there’s no way they would announce the seasonal movie before it so speculations of them skipping it this year are probably true.

To squeeze it somewhere between March and October-ish would force them to readjust their budgets as well and I don’t think even Toei wants to go through that extra hassle after all the trouble the pandemic’s caused for everyone already. It’s just easier to resume All Stars in 2022.

That, and I think Laura being a major character in TroPre despite not having a Cure title (yet) would make for an awkward situation when the three latest teams gather so perhaps that’s also one of the reasons. But I’ll get back to Laura in a bit.

3) Cure Summer is a RAINBOW Cure

So god help me if I see anyone calling her a Pink Cure.

Yes, she’s the lead Cure for this season. NO, she is not a Pink Cure.

Look, even the official website has a rainbow overlay for her profile pic and text font while everyone else’s respective theme colors are a solid hue:

Therefore, RAINBOW.

In promotional material and merchandising, they’re probably going to advertise her primarily with pink bah and at worst, she might occasionally be labeled as a White Cure with multiple subcolors (her outfit is not pink-dominant) but definitely NOT. PINK.

...also, this goes without saying but f***yea, we finally got a lead Cure practically and unabashedly wearing the LGBTQ flag and you cannot tell me otherwise, Toei!

Own up to it! Declare Manatsu/Cure Summer as the Precure queer icon!

4) Laura = obvious midseason Cure is obvious

First of all, Laura is a babe. I already love her the best and she’s not even Precure yet. <3

Anyways, the set-up is pretty much in the description. Important main character who’s not a mascot, stated to have a self-confident personality and just speaks her mind (oooh, I like~ :D), magical/foreign being from another world looking for Precure to save her home, possesses her own special item(s), has aspirations to become the next Queen (so she’s a princess-candidate or something to that effect, I suppose).

We’ve seen various combinations of these traits in past midseason (and a few starter) Cures so nobody should be surprised when we all guessed that one of the Cures would be a real live mermaid.

The only question is why not just make Laura a Cure from the get-go if she’s introduced to us at the beginning (like Hime or Lala) and having a team of five with no unnecessary extra add-ons later on (like Smile).

Well, there’s a simple answer for that: formula.

Toei is afraid that if they don’t spit out some new animation sequence at the halfway and third quarter points of the show, the kids will lose interest and abandon the series altogether. Which means failed toy sales. Oh nooo... [/sarcasm]

...Yea. 

And this way they can also have Laura available in the Cure lineup for the next All Stars in 2022 instead of making her sit the fight out if we were going to have one in 2021. I’m convinced that’s gotta be one of the reasons. *shrug*

But ok, whatever. Her debut is gonna be later, that’s all. She’s a delayed Cure.  Midseason Cure, same difference.

Moving along to the more important stuff now like what’s her Cure name gonna be, y/y?

Well, knowing Toei, a translation of the term “mermaid” into another language is the most predictable route even though we already have a Cure Mermaid. Not like that ever stopped them from repeating words before (ex. Cure Happy vs Cure Felice). Though if they do go down that road, I hope they opt for the Spanish/Italian “sirena” and not the French “sirène” because the latter sounds too close to how Cure Selene is pronounced in Japanese. And, putting it nicely, we all know Japanese pronunciation of foreign words is as off kilter as can be.

Hell, even the the Portuguese “sereia” sounds aesthetic as hell so it’d be nice if they can just remember there are other languages that exist out there besides Japanese, English and French when making the final decision at the writing table! *stomps foot* >:/

Alternatively, “nereid” or “naiad” are good choices too but they remind me too much of Greek myths and Laura’s from the Grand Ocean which covers more than just a couple of seas (Greece is surrounded by three, btw) so...

I dunno. But whatever it’s gonna be, she’s definitely got a strong association with water and her powers will probably be based on that.

As for theme color, since there’s noticeably no blue or green Cure in the starter lineup, it’s likely she will take up that spot when she debuts around ep 20.

Pink is also open since Cure Summer, again, is technically not a Pink Cure and Laura’s hair and tail fin are hot and light pink respectively but looking at Laura’s design and concept, does anyone seriously believe that?

Her upper torso consists of aquamarine while the body of her tail is definitely some shade of cyan, implying they’re aiming for somewhere around the middle of green and blue on the lighter spectrum.

And yea, I’m aware that green and blue are considered exchangeable in some perspectives with how close some of their shades are to each other but officially, I think Laura’s gonna be grouped with the Green Cures.

Cuz of the hair. If Laura’s gonna keep it the same or a similar shade after transforming, that is. The Blues have always had cool-colored hair so putting Laura in with them might disrupt that harmony whereas if you put her with the few Greens there are (including Parfait), she’d fit right in.

I mean, we’ll see but that makes the most sense, doesn’t it?

On another note, I just want to say that I love how they added frills to her arms instead of letting her elbows go bare naked. It definitely makes her look more like a genuine mermaid than if she didn’t have them (remember, half fish doesn’t mean half the body :P).

5) Magical Items

Frankly, I’m tired of seeing the transformation device being a compact again even though one of the main motifs is make-up this season. But at least, as far as Precure compacts goes, the Tropical one is my favorite cuz of how cute and delightfully colorful its toy version looks! So I guess I’m okay with it.

The Heart Rouge Rod, though? ...I dunno. I think it would’ve been fine without that...straw (?) jutting out at the top. It looks weird, doesn’t it look weird? :S

As for the collectible clip-ons, I can live without those for the rest of my life. Yeesh.

Laura’s items, the Aqua Pot and the Ocean Prism Mirror.

Again with the portable, travel-size housing. *sigh* 😩

Alright, I can let this year slide cuz Laura (I’m so soft for her, omg) probably won’t be getting legs for 20 weeks so she’s got to move about on land somehow. But unless they’re really thinking about turning this idea of carrying your apartment around in your bag/pocket/purse into a reality (cuz that would be effin’ awesome), please be more creative with your toys.

On the other hand, I’m much more interested in the Ocean Prism Mirror but from what Kusyami (the Precure merchandise reviews I follow on Youtube) said in his latest vid, this is the ED dance item so don’t know if it’ll actually have an relevance to the story or not. But I did hear him mention it having something to do with the Queen as well and since Laura wishes to become Queen, maybe it’ll be important after all? Maybe it’s her transformation device?

That’d be super cool. Let’s continue the trend of the midseason Cure having a different transformation item than the starters. Honestly, we should alternate every other year or two but we’ve gone three seasons with all of them using the same henshin gimmicks up till HealPre and I just want a break from that.

6) Fin sleeves??

These look so impractical for combat so maybe it’s exclusive to group attacks.

And/or a sort of precursor to the super forms?

*GASP* Does that mean they all eventually turn into mermaids? 🤩

7) Yui finally became Precure!! 😭

☁️💫 Onigiri- Osamu x Reader ☁️💫

"Osamu~~ what is your favourite food?" Y/n-chan asked. "Hmm... Can't think of one because all food is amazing..." the boy replied nonchalantly. Y/n-chan wanted to surprise her boyfriend because she wanted to do something special for him. Cuz ya' know, couple stuff. Plus he has been the one cooking for the two of them ever since they started dating so she wanted to do it for a change.

"What should I do Maki-chan? He likes EVERYTHING!! But even everything has a limit right? I mean what if I make something that he secretly doesn't like? Or.. or-" Makisan, her best friend, cut her off and said " Y/n-chan he said he likes everything. I'm sure he would like whatever you make! Plus if he doesn't, I will totally eat it because free food!" Y/n-chan rolled her eyes and chuckled "Maki you pig! All you ever think about is to eat! But thanks for helping me out." Y/n-chan smiled as she spoke.

Y/n decided to make salmon onigiri as it was the looked like it was the easiest and it was the one her boyfriend ate the most. She searched up for a recipe and tried her best to follow it. First, rice. Y/n internally panicked. Rice- HOW DOES ONE MAKE RICE OH LORD. " Calm down Y/n it's just rice. You can do it. It is going to be easy." She told herself. She took in a few deep breaths and started on the rice. THE RICE WAS HARD TO MAKE OH LORD.

Finally. The rice is all done. Y/n-chan looked at the clock and internally screamed "THAT TOOK AN HOUR?!?!?" Welp, she made it this far. Might as well continue. Now it's time for the filling! First, take a slab of salmon and rub that fish with salt on both sides ( y/n-chan totally salt bae-d it! ) then cook it in an oven for about 20 minutes. After taking it out and cooling it for a while, she broke the salmon up into flakes so Osamu wouldn't choke on a chunk of salmon ( hope he doesn't choke!! Sorry boo! )

Almost done!! All she needed to do now was to assemble the onigiri! She took a handful of rice and placed a bit of the filling ( not too much and not too little of course ) and skillfully formed the rice into a triangular shape. She then wrapped the naked onigiri with nori ( seaweed ). She repeated this a few more times and placed all the onigiris into a cute tupperware.

After what seemed like forever, she was done! And would ya look at that! They turned out pretty decent! Sure, some were lopsided but she tried her best and that's all that mattered. She took out a sticky note and wrote:

"for my lovely boyfriend! Hope you like this and thank you for always feeding me! I made you food this time and I hope you like it!♡

from yours truly,

Y/n-chan♡"

Y/n-chan smiled at herself and thought " hope Osamu likes this or else I will sue him because this took too much time. I could've been watching anime using this time." She cleaned up the kitchen and went to sleep to pass it to her dear boyfriend the next day.

It was the next day and Y/n was super excited to give her darling boyfriend ( cheesey lol ) the food she specially made for him and him only. She placed it in her bag carefully so her books wouldn't crush her hardwork and went to school.

Once she got to class, she hurried over to Osamu's table and passed him the bento box. "What's this Y/n?" The boy asked in pure confusion. Y/n scratched her cheek as it got redder and redder by the second. "I- It's for you! I- I made it because I thought that you would like it" she stuttered out. Osamu's eyes widened and his lips curved into a smile. "Thank you Y/n-chan. This was really sweet of you" Osmau gently pat her head and continued to thank her.

However, Y/n-chan pouted. She was expecting *something else*. Y/n-chan whispered in his ear "Osamu~ Aren't you forgetting something?" Confused, Osamu looked at her and wondered what he had forgotten. Y/n-chan lightly poked her cheek to give him a hint and he got it. He gave her a quick peck and thanked her once more. "Thank you Osamu. I'm so grateful that you have always done the cooking." Y/n turned to her boyfriend and said. Osamu replied " well that's cuz i love ya y/n"

BONUS:

Y/n and Osamu went to the rooftop to eat together because Osamu didn't want the volleyball team to eat the onigiris Y/n made for him. Much to their dismay, the team found them and freaked out. The whole team wished that they could take a bit of Y/n's onigiri. They looked deliciously amazing! But Osamu being Osamu, he didn't share his food. Especially with his twin.

"Y/N-CHAN COOK FOR ME TOO! 'SAMU AND I ARE BASICALLY THE SAME!!" Atsumu complained. Osamu being the kind and sweet brother he is, took the whole bento box and ate an onigiri in front of Atsumu. "Woah Y/n-chan its perfect and it's so good! I wish you could try some 'Tsumu but they are all mine" Osamu smugly said. "HMPH! SAMU YER SUCH A MEANIE" Atsumu pouted. Y/n chuckled at the sight of the two brothers and enjoyed the rest of her lunch with her boyfriend.
