Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though you are a stranger, you appear familiar.
How did you do your magic, whatever it was?
My heart has been captivated by you.
Even if I understand it, I am perplexed.
You are the brightness in my mornings.
Even though you are a stranger, you appear familiar.

it’s my party and I can make up a POTC Davy Jones-centric fan kid AU if I want to
her name is Scylla and Davy finds her that day he went ashore when Calypso wasn’t there and he was so bewildered by this sudden onslaught of fatherhood that he kind of forgot to go mad with heartbreak and betrayal and now the Dutchman crew has to deal with a toddler and they won’t stop giving her silly nicknames and she keeps eating seagulls, the pirate world better watch the fuck out

The Days To Remember [1/2]
Jack Sparrow x FReader
MASTERLIST || Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: What if Will had survived Davy Jone’s attack? And in return, the captain of the Black Pearl got what he wanted—to sail the seas for eternity. But as much as he desired the thrill of that curse, he was torn between a longing sentiment and his greed for exploration. It was either that or honor his chances. Well, he is a mad pirate. Why not settle for both?
WC: 3.1k
Warning/s: Mentions of gore, battle, and consummation, light cursing, light angst, suggestive themes, kissing, madman Jack, sexual tension, smut (next part).
Tumblr media
The battle with Cutler Beckett has met its end. The Black Pearl still stands as your fellow crewmates rejoiced with each other’s cry, voices rumbling out of their chests. Even in your previous state of panic over Jack’s actions to carve his heart out, and ramming it shut into the good ol’ dead man’s chest, your lungs cried out in victory. It was a battle that no man could have ever imagined to happen right before their eyes.
Well, at least maybe just in your case. But you’re damn well sure your mates had the same thought.
This is history.
And as much as you wanted to cling in this moment’s joyous reverie, a single look at the other ship floating right next to yours reminded you of what else your party had gained.
The Flying Dutchman carried itself with a new light, and at the helm stood its new captain, all with his sloppily grandeur demeanor and a wildly pleasant grin. He looked satisfied, and you can’t blame him. This is what he had his eyes on the moment he learned what the ship had to offer; immortality with his beloved sea.
You’re glad that he’s alive and will be around for a very long time and that he got what he desired. That he’s there standing in the presence of his new crewmates who will definitely treat him as a revered captain, heeding his command for it is he who sails it. But as he crossed the deck and towards the plank to bid his farewells on the trusty Black Pearl, his long time darling ship, as well as his loyal crew, you start to feel how much it pained you to see him go as your earlier mirth wisped away into shards of yearning.
You already knew what he planned to do. You were made aware so. And yet, why does it seem like you aren’t prepared yet for this outcome?
There was a falter in your emotions. You have half the mind to not let your bitter smile turn upside down. This is not how you wanted your dear captain to see you one last time.
“No point in hiding it, can ya?” a murmured-like voice speaks next to you. The one-eyed pirate, Ragetti, looks upfront at the sight you were looking at, and points a finger at Jack who’s making the most of his banter with Mr. Gibbs. “If you don’t say it now, ‘tis but a moment you’ll look back on with only regret to accompany it. Well, personally I think you’d regret it more if you’re looking to be with the captain. The Dutchman ain’t worth o’ it all, I tell ya.”
Next to him, his bald-headed companion added. “What the bloody hell do you know? We could take on the ocean and be immortal beings. I’m sure the captain wouldn’t mind us boardin’ in.”
“Go on then! See how it feels to be alive for centuries. It’s just more work ferrying souls—endlessly,” the man bites back with a wisdom you never thought he’d have.
The two bickered on, but you went back to Ragetti’s words. No point in hiding it, can ya? Exactly. At this very moment, you and him are now on a very different footing, on vastly separate worlds. Even if you meet each other at sea whilst he carries on his duty as captain of the Flying Dutchman, it’d be but a fleeting memory that will only tear you away from him before you could even touch the man. So it’s now or never.
It’s either you pursue him or not at all. You have to do it. With only regret to accompany it.
But a line has been drawn, so what in the hells could change once you did so? Wouldn’t that leave you with a broken heart that could easily shatter more into bits?
Jack got what he wanted. What else could he want from you? The helpless woman he saved once from the ocean’s wrath. The torn woman who became a part of his crew even when she had a family waiting for her at shore. The awed crewmate who was only grateful to be a part of his adventure. The teary eyed crewmate who tended to his fatal wound, thinking he would die at her hands.
The appalled crewmate who questioned his choices for choosing her over a hill of wealthwhich was very unlike him.
And those were just that. A bond that you will never forget, much less something that you’ll regret. This is what he clearly chose, and you don’t plan to disrupt it. Just like you thought earlier; he’s satisfied.
Yet you see him almost drop his smile from across the deck, a passing gloom that felt so wrong to see on him. It worried you. Nevertheless, his loose smile still hung on as he ran his eyes around the crew, before landing it on you. There was only one thing you could give him, a lopsided smile that you know he’d always return. But this time, it didn’t reach the creases of your eyes and for a moment there, Jack’s expression was that of a relieved one. As if being able to navigate your presence amongst all of the other people onboard was a shining starlight in a vast dark sky. Though, it wasn’t long before he was back at his countenance of flaccidity, elbows at his sides as he sauntered over to you.
“And my darling partner in crime. How could I forget about you?” he teased.
“I’m honestly thinking you did,” you quipped. You then gestured to the docked ship beside the Black Pearl. “With that marvelous thing waiting for you? I’d be over the moon. Well…it could use a bit of color if you ask me.”
“Oh, I don’t know about that,” he replied, eyes seemingly not leaving you. There was something about his gaze that felt intense, and you couldn’t help but meet it, engraving those gleaming dark brown irises into your memory.
As if he was examining you the same, a slight tilt of his head made you aware of the seconds passing by.
“The sea is yours to sail, captain. There’s a lot waiting for you out there,” you said. Your tongue felt bitter.
“Well, yes.” He nodded nonchalantly. “Dead souls precisely.”
“And an endless round of treasures I suppose,” you added as you smiled. And he returned it all the same as the corners of his mouth stretched up into a genuine grin, his golden tooth peeking through. The way he looked at you—it was heartfelt. Not the usual mischief he'd wear. Not a prickle of anything unserious. But it didn't last long as his grin slowly dropped to a melancholic one, his eyes never leaving your own.
Some swell of pride resided in you, seeing that this separation also bothered him. But you won’t assume the extent of such sentiments. You were a team, and that’s where it lies just as it ends.
“Yes…” he hesitantly says. “I believe so.”
For a second there, the world stopped. It was only him that you could see. And in the process, something cracked within you, but you held yourself up with a tilted and pathetic attempt at an amicable smile.
It was time.
“Fair winds, captain," you bade.
His eyes fell from yours, taking him a moment to respond. “Farewell, love.”
And the next thing you saw was his back turned as he strutted far out of your reach.
This was it. This is your choice, and his. No matter how much it hurts, you know that he cherished you as a crewmate just as much as you cherished him as your captain—the savior who made you see light again into this world.
Jack Sparrow was your beginning, and now it’s time to venture forth where that will take you. You owe it all to him.
But, as the said pirate headed towards the plank ‘proudly’, then catching a glimpse of both Elizabeth and Will, that demeanor of his quickly changed with a tilt of his head, annoyance settling through himself like the many times he had to change his course of action. He was one step up the plank when he stopped, seemingly contemplating on the choices he just made.
You had no clue what irked him so. And as you wondered, he turned to you.
What?
The next thing you know he was already striding towards your way, and soon smashed his lips into yours.
At first you didn’t know how to react, but by then it was instinct to shut your eyes close as you felt him deepen the kiss with his hand cradling your head from behind. There was no room for rejection, so you melted into it as his other arm banished all distance between your bodies. He held you closer like nothing before. As if this particular split bothered him just as much as you did.
Out of all the women he wouldn’t be seeing for a long time, it’s you he chose to cherish. And you dreadfully feel lucky right now.
Somehow, the kiss felt like flying as you feel yourself slightly tilt back with his support, his lips a passionate maneuver. Not even his beard could hinder anything as it only served a far more thrilling sensation.
Who would’ve thought your dear captain felt the same?
For that single moment, the pirates around you didn’t matter. Although, you didn’t miss the comment given by one of them, pride dripping in their tone. “Aye, the captain must’ve heard me advice.”
Honestly, you’re fortuitously thankful if Jack actually did hear. And even if not, you’re not really complaining. Perhaps you should start listening to Ragetti’s words of wisdom more from now on—if you ever see each other again, that is.
But you didn't dwell on that further; you’re far too busy at the moment.
When he slowly pulled back, the hand behind your head trickled down to your neck as you met his blazing dark brown ones, and you simply couldn't tear yourself away from them. Your poor heart rammed in your chest wildly.
Gods, your thoughts ran. Mum never forbade me to fall in love with a pirate, didn’t she?
And as if he could read your thoughts, that charming smirk of his surfaced.
Which is actually a sign that he's about to do something mad.
You frown. "Jack, what—"
Before you could complete the question, the pirate beat you to it as he diverted his attention right past you, his voice booming across the ship. "Hector!"
"Oh, mercy," the said man sounded displeased as he replied, seemingly knowing what Jack had in mind. "No."
From a second's moment of confusion, you eventually realized what Jack was trying to ask the feathered hat pirate. And if your memory serves you right, this almost feels like the one you’ve witnessed during the battle in the maelstrom. With the look Jack chanced at the two newly wedded couple earlier, you started to register where this was leading.
And you can’t believe it yourself. He is Captain Jack Sparrow for a reason, and he's as mad as ever.
The said man simply stretched out an accommodating smile at Barbossa, and with his arms still holding you close, you tried to look behind you only to see that the latter was staring down his nose at your captain.
“Come on, mate. Do it for an old friend, will ya?” pleaded Jack.
You immediately turned back to Jack. “Please confirm it to me that you’re asking him what I think you’re asking him.”
Jack averts his attention back on yours, his smile turning soft. “I think it’s perfectly obvious now, love.” His hands held you closer from behind just like before, thrill stirring in his dark-pooled irises. Though, it quickly changed as his brows folded. “Unless you don’t fancy the idea.”
You almost wanted to laugh at that, but you refrained. “With me? Now?”
“Aye.” He courtly nodded, as if he was telling you the obvious. “And I doubt your village would want you to join the Dutchman’s crew, so there’s no other day, is there?”
You chuckled at that. “Yes. Yes, I suppose they wouldn’t.”
There’s a part in you that’s begging to digress—that this is your choice. But you also know that they are waiting for you; the rapport of kinship to your homeland is what you also held dear. Besides, piracy was not your first option into livelihood. You already had your fill of adventure, even though it was only a matter of debt. To you, the soils of a land and the buzz of a lively village is where you belong.
Yet you stall here, thinking of bounding yourself to someone who’s now forbidden to step on land. Even so, you believe marriage has more to it than just living together.
“Marry me?” Your words came out quite impulsively than you let on.
Jack’s brows deepened a frown as he tried to process your question on whether you were asking him about his point—or that you’re actually asking him to marry you. But it wasn’t long before he eventually caught on, the corners of his lips upturning.
“Yes,” he answered, a compulsion he can’t turn away. “Marry you.”
You hear Barbossa mutter something as all the other heads turn to his annoyed form, who’s now stepping down from the quarter deck. Stance as intimidating as ever, the feathered hat captain sneered at Jack. But when he landed his attention on you, it at least subsided.
If you blink, you could’ve missed the somewhat compassionate expression he almost fully wore.
“Are we doing this or ya lot already regretting it?” he plainly asked, standing a few feet away from you and Jack, looking like he’s already regretting it himself.
“Oh, no,” Jack started. He pulls away from you, but his palm met yours, and bends down to place a kiss on your backhand without breaking an eye on yours. “No regrets here…nor will I ever.”
You should’ve been shrinking in embarrassment by then, knowing that you were surrounded by a crowd of all kinds of pirates, or melting on the wooden floor from the way Jack ravaged you with his gaze. But none of that prevailed in overwhelming you when Barbossa started his officiation of this middle-of-nowhere marriage.
Jack gave you all of his attention, and it was clear that whatever Barbossa was saying didn’t matter to him any more than you were. You hadn’t even realized how quiet everyone was—maybe just out of respect. But you thought wrong when you glimpsed both Ragetti and Pintel leaning at each other in a heartfelt manner as they eyed the occasion. It was sweet of them. Even Elizabeth herself regarded you with a wide smile as she rested her head on her newly wedded husband’s shoulder.
“Just get to it, mate,” Jack called out to Barbossa. “Skip it to the ‘I do’ part?”
You swear your officiant looked like he was one word away from shooting Jack. You couldn’t help but lightly shake your head, smiling. Jack didn’t even spare his first mate a look.
“Jack Sparrow,” Barbossa mentions the name venomously, and soon after, actually heeds Jack’s request.
When he was finally asked the question, he answered it in less than a heartbeat. “I do.”
There was no teasing at play, nor the walls he puts up as a captain. This time, he sounded as serious as he could have ever been. The smile he hung wasn’t the same ol’ frisky one he’d give you when he’s wrought with excitement. It was different, and you know where you'd seen it before.
A time where he decided the fate of something he couldn’t bear to lose.
And at that moment, he took your breath away.
You had not even heard what or how Barbossa asked you the question, nor the words you unleashed from your mouth. But you know it’s what your heart desires.
“I do.”
Your officiant didn’t even have to say anything else when Jack himself leaned in, catching your lips on his.
I could get used to this, you said in your head. For whatever time we’ve got at least. You couldn’t think of anything else, aside from realizing that Jack had such softer lips than you would have thought of.
“Somehow I’m surprised I haven’t gone and tried to kiss you before all this,” he says as soon as he breaks away, his forehead leaning closely to yours as his hat casts shadows over your faces.
“Did I actually leave you wanting, Captain?” you replied, reminiscing the ghost of his lips on yours.
“No captain, no,” he folded a brow. “Darling would be rather appropriate, wouldn’t it? And yes. Should I demonstrate my love for you again? Because I’m willing to take me single day at shore with just you.”
His gaze didn’t waver as he said that. Sure, you could identify the lingering sexual desire in the door of his soul, but there was also vulnerability. If this was anything like the ways of his seduction to other women, it was not. Because he isn’t trying to seduce you—you’re already his.
Though, with the weight of what the future holds, along with the fact that he’s bound with his new cursed ship with ten years worth of service, there is only one day of respite given to him from the harshness of the seas.
And to be with you.
Well, you mildly think he’d view the seas as harsh when for all his life he loved it. But only a day on land is just as harsh. A longing desire even.
And it certainly doesn’t change the fact that this is the last day you’ll ever hold each other again like this. Not for the next year, nor five. But for a decade. And just until that single day comes again, will you two be able to burn your hearts out.
Your hold on him tightened without you noticing. Getting eloped so suddenly without thinking it through first was certainly not on your list for today. It was all about surviving Davy Jone’s Locker and the battle with the pirate lords. But by the time Jack incited his desire of marriage, it was pretty much clear you both wanted no regrets. For even how too mad it was for you, it is a decision that you will look back on with gratitude for yourself.
Whatever may come, you know that you love and will love this madman.
So as you brushed past the flutter his words had given you, shamelessly suggesting the idea of consummation, your toes pushed you up as you tasted his lips once again. “Shall we make it worthwhile for the next ten years then?” you softly muttered to him after.
Recovering from the kiss, he fluttered his eyes open, grinning. “As worthwhile as can ever be, love.”

A/N: Thank you so much for reading! As what I've typed above, this will have a pt. 2 which I've already written and been moving onwards to finishing it with a wee bit of editing (jk not wee actually). Here's to hoping I'll be able to settle that next week. I'm just excited because it's been fun writing this >.< Especially the next spicy part— Do don't expect too high on my smut prowess. It has been awhile since I wrote one but it isn't for naught. Because even I shocked myself with what I've just written (´。_。`) And lastly, if anyone wants to be tagged for the next one, feel free to comment about it or anything!

Diamond of the sea (James Norrington)
Chapter 1
Tumblr media
“Miss Genevieve, may I come in?”
The maid’s voice was a distant thing for Genevieve, who was still well into the dream realm. It was only after being gently shaken that the young woman woke up.
"Good morning Jane"
she greeted stretching her arms lazily, after moving out of the enormous bed she laid moments ago
"The bath and water are already ready at the washroom for you Miss, alongside the herbs paste you requested"
the young maid explained while opening the heavy curtains, and allowing sunlight into the spacious room
After eight years living with the Governor, it was easy to think she was Elizabeth's sister, raised to be a proper lady in British society. If it wasn't the fact they were the same age, and Genevive didn't quite look like the family, no one would suspect a thing.
"That is lovely to hear, thank you. I will call for your presence when I’m finished”
she dismissed before closing the door.
When she entered the washroom, the bathtub was already prepared for her, with cold water filling it to its middle, and in a stool at its side there was a jar of natural water and a small bowl filled with a slime green goo that smelled of seaweed and camomile.
Stripping of her nightgown, Genevive let herself drown in the water, and in seconds instead of her legs there was a sparkling golden mermaid tail, with translucent fins at the end of it, shimmering like gold when the sun passed on it, that matched her hair. With a natural fiber sponge, she cleaned her upper body and face, and later, more carefully, her tail and hair, making sure to not break the skin but also rubbing strong enough to clean it.
Something about mermaids that most of the stories got true was how fast they weakened at the sun. If they didn’t receive enough water their skin would burn and not long after the mermaid would die. That was one of the reasons they usually liked dark spaces to live in. However, disguising as a human with the Swans, she could not afford that privilege, so as a habit she liked to start her days taking a cold bath, and drinking a full jar of water, which usually was enough.
She dived her head and cleaned the last bits of goo out of her face and body, feeling ready to end her bath. Using her arms, she lifted herself to the board of the tub and when her tail melted away with a familiar sting, she stepped out of it and draped herself with a towel.
After that it was the normal process of getting ready for the day: Jane would help her dress herself, this time with something uncomfortable called “corset”, that apparently was the high fashion in London, but she would not make a fuss given it had a new dress with it and more importantly it was a direct request from the Governor.
“You outdone yourself today Jane. It’s impressive” she thanked her, looking one last time at the mirror, and seeing how the blue in the dress complimented her grass green eyes and porcelain skin.
“Vive, are you ready?” Lizzie voice sounded from the door, a soft knock before
“Lizzie, good morning darling” the door closed with a soft closing
“Are you feeling nervous for today’s ceremony?” she gossiped while they descended the stairs
“A bit, actually. Father gave me this new dress and it’s impossible to breathe with the undergarments”
“You look stunning with it though” she reassured her best friend, giving her hand a slight squeeze, before the last steps of the long stair.
“Elizabeth, Genevieve" Governor Swan greeted “You look absolutely stunning”
“Will” Elizabeth’s face lit up seeing the blacksmith apprentice “It’s so good to see you” a bright smile accompanying the words “I had a dream about you last night” Genevive internally let out a sight, their feelings were obvious to everyone but themselves
“About me?” the boy questioned nervous
“Is that proper for you…” Weatherby looked uncomfortable
“About the day we met. Do you remember?”
He almost died, and was given a fresh start, he certainly remembers. Lovely start for a conversation.
“How could I forget Miss Swann?” He smiled charmingly
“How many times must I ask you to call me Elizabeth?” Lizzie playfully asked
“At least once more, Miss Swann. As always” he declined politely, but his eyes were regretful, and she seemed unpleased with his awnser, contrary to her father
“There. See? At least the boy has a sense of propriety. We really must be going”
“Good day, Mr. Turner” was the cold goodbye her sister gave, which obviously confused the poor young man.
“Have a good day, Mr. Turner” was Genevives’s, although hers was warmer in tone.
“Come along” was the Governor’s cue that the carriage was already waiting for them.
Outside the house the sun shone brightly on their heads, and they soon were inside the vehicle on their way.
“You should be less harsh on him, Lizzie. Mr. Turner is always polite with you” she whispered to the other, once they were getting to their destination.
And that was chapter 1.
(@luciadiosa I'm seeing you reading this and I'm waiting your mermaid fic hahahaha)

You know what my fatherless ass needs? Davy Jones hcs where he saves a child and keeps them and the kid just gets super attached to him...
He just looks like he'd be a very loving dad, not a very good dad but the kind of dad that tries his best and loves his kid and I will DIE on this hill
DAVY JONES WITH A CHILD
Tumblr media
Since it’s a child he saved rather than had, he’d be more surprised you latched onto him as a child at all. As he already views himself as a monster.
He never has the heart, dead or alive to harm a child. No, that’s not him. There’s no entertainment in that. He would take you in rather, more so to protect you from this world. The cruel world of the living.
He’d probably be a very… Interesting dad, I imagine he’s very closed off. He’s not affectionate either, but he is very action centric.
He would teach the children morale to be what, well- what Calypso was not to him. To present for who you love even if it hurts.
Alongside is INCREDIBLY strict with his crew on how they interact with his child, hell he’d only allow Maccus to talk to you or take orders from.
In only in moments where you’re hurt or terribly scared he’ll start talking about how much he cares for you. Or how much you’ve kept him going.
His real beating heart you are
One of the rules he has, is to never play Liar’s Dice with any crew.
When you’re older, he gives you a briefing on pirates across the world and nobility to fear. Such as Cutler Beckett and Jack Sparrow.
During the time Beckett had him under his clutches, he tried hiding you as best as he could. Only keeping you in the Captain’s quarters, but when that was taken before so, he had you moved down.
One thing you had to grow used to, was the slime, barnacles, all the living micro-organisms about, everything.
Alongside poor hygiene.

So, Pinterest found out my love for Jorrington. However it showed me some other aesthetic scenes of AWE. Which makes me wonder, if he was still alive and survived, or perhaps kept alive by David Jonathan.
Tumblr media
What side do YOU think he would be on in the stand off, why, and what would his response be?
Does this differ to you depending on how he would be alive (escapee or enslaved by Dave Johns)
I imagine angles could be: Civil yet sassy, violent either by skill or having more numbers, obedient (to whomever is his leader).
david jonathan..............
i've definitely thought about this an inordinate amount, and my biases are on fully display as i say norrington would be at elizabeth's side, or at least hovering behind her glowering, when dealing at the parlay.
i've gone through a lot of mental turbulence over a version of events where norrington ends up a pirate, because it's so antithetical to what he stands for both as a vessel of themes and a character with feelings, i have a hard time wrapping my head around it. i think he needed to die in the canon narrative. HOWEVER. i think there's a lot of good theme resolution if he metaphorically dies on the dutchman to save elizabeth, survives and escapes with her, and casts out his former self to become a pirate, even if just to kill cutler beckett in revenge. it's more about loyalty to elizabeth and revenge than it is actually believing in what the pirates stand for than anything, but even getting to that point requires a major ego death.
for all that the title is hollow, norrington is an admiral and a lifelong seaman. he could outgambit beckett in a fleet vs armada situation, were the fleet at his disposal not a pirate fleet, and i think he'd have real valuable input at the parlay...just nothing he'd want to reveal out of hand, like everyone else.
(more thoughts below this got out of hand)
furthermore: consider that the pearl and dutchman have their final standoff during a maelstrom. his canonical ego death happened while chasing the pearl into a hurricane; if he follows elizabeth, he can help steer the pearl out of a storm to safety. the bookends! the parallels!!!
in this consideration i do imagine he's somewhere between the snarky-yet-stuffy cotbp and scruffy-and-blunt dmc norringtons, as you say. that's a great read, and a fun little thought experiment about who he is without the blade of duty/expectation hanging over his neck. civil with a sharp tongue and little reason to hold it back, but with renewed purpose and less of a vendetta against the world at large.
tldr: swap out his literal death with a metaphorical one and he'd follow elizabeth anywhere, especially to battle
(not to self-promo on an ask from a friend but i did write a 20k fic about this very subject; i'd change some stuff now but the bulk of my thoughts are in this big ass thesis. thank you for your time now back to the show)
although..........i am thinking very hard about the idea that he, like jones, is still being forced into service here? like maybe beckett keeps swann as a hostage not to keep elizabeth compliant, but to keep norrington compliant, to make sure the dutchman follows orders in the big fight.
(aside: i don't think norrington fears death or would want to live as anyone besides himself, so he'd never accept jones' offer of undeath unless it was to protect someone else from the same fate. hmm hmm much to consider)
either way: beckett brings norrington to the parlay just to flaunt "look how many of your people i have in my charge! haha!" maybe norrington is trying to drop hints to elizabeth that her father is still alive during the parlay, but she's focused on will being there ALSO trying to drop hints, and it gets messy fast.
having received confirmation that everyone ignores the puppet admiral and uses him for leverage, norrington frees both jack AND governor swann and escapes into the narrative. or something. hmm i'll workshop it
this is a very interesting idea!!! thank you so much for the ask

I was intoxicated without even dinking,
She is my beautiful lady,
I'm going to lose myself in her beauty.

Ur mom drank during her pregnancy from the fountain of youth and that's how u became a mermaid
Ur the queen of the seas and ur beauty brought a lot of unfortunate sealers to u
Ur voice is angel like and there are many legends of u
The whole crew adores u and won't let a hair fall from ur head.
Ur clothes would be very soft looking and match ur petite body
As cold and cruel as ur father is, he still has some love left which is all urs
He would only open his heart to u and be who he really is
Tumblr media
Barbossa:
U would have a rivalry with Angelica
U would rather be softer but some of a baddie as well
U love listening to ur dad's stories about the see and ur sweet looks could melt everyones heart
U would be bothered by Jack and strictly follow ur dads orders and every step
He would adore u and never let harm happen to u.
U would be always dressed elegantly but still in a pirate kinda way.
He would always bring u with him and teach u about the pirates life
The both of u would make a lot of jokes and eat apples together
U rather prefer using guns but can also swing a sword
Tumblr media
James norrington:
U would dislike pirates but still be on the sea when ur dad allows it
He's very strict about that but only for ur own good
He would be very protective over u and even gives his life
He would tell u a lot of stories and poems, read books to u or just spend the evening talking with u
He's a soft and warm hearted dad
U would be dressed very elegant but still wear pants
U look just like an angel
Ur also very clingy when it comes to ur dad
He's a very proud dad
Tumblr media
Cutler beckett:
Yeah u would be a real princess
Not as arrogant as ur dad but u definitely like to order people around
Ur dad would make every wish of u come true
U would be always very elegant and expensive dressed
He would rarely let u come on the ship with him
He wants u to rather stay on land and rule at home while he's gone.
After his death u took his place as a strict lord
U will get whatever u want but still be thankful and sweet
He will always give u little but expensive gifts as he loves to see u smile
Yes he can be good but only to u

uh short comic pieces that i drew yesterday.
I wanted to draw about the situation flipping opposite between Jack and Beckett but uh I just made him panic and that's all🥺😭
Just a silly imagination of Jack knowing about Jane.
That can be Cutler's vulnerable point

The Locket
Warning: Tragic story, death
Cutler Beckett had been raising his daughter, Eliza, for nine years since the death of his beloved wife, Ava, an African-American noble woman, daughter of a former pirate king. When Eliza asked about the locket he wore in front of his neck cuff, that’s when he decided that she was old enough to know what became of her mother on that tragic day.
It had been nine years since the death of Cutler Beckett‘s wife, Ava, who left the world, leaving him to raise their daughter, Eliza by himself. With a help from Captain Jack sparrow, her godfather, along with Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann and Governer Swann(He Lives In This Story)😊 . And of course, Captain Hector Barbossa of the Black Pearl.
Ava was known to be the daughter of a former pirate king, who later retired and became a baron. He married, and had a family. A wife, three sons, and four daughters. One of which, was the one Beckett fell in love with, and that was Ava. He never thought that he would fall in love with someone until he laid his eyes on her. Somehow, the pirates, Beckett and EITC made peace and later on, he and Ava married and had little Eliza.
Throughout the years, he became very protective of his daughter, not wanting to lose her too. As she grew older, she began to be very fond of everyone, including Beckett’s right hand man, Mr. Mercer, whom she often called ‘Uncle Ian’, which made Mr. Mercer smile.
One night after supper, as Beckett was tucking Ava into bed, Ava asked her father, “Papa? What is that you wear on your neck cuff?” Lord Beckett looked down at the brooch that she pointed out. “Oh, this was a wedding gift that your mother had given to me on the night after our wedding.” He said as he took off the brooch and opened it. “It is actually a locket that she had given to me after we married.”
Ava looked closely at the picture of her mother. She never thought she looked so beautiful. “How old was I when she passed away?“ Ava asked as she looked at Beckett, who began to have tears in his eyes, knowing that one way or the other she will have to know what happened to her mother.
“ You were just seven weeks old and Captain Jack sparrow had just became your godfather at the time the tragedy occurred.” Beckett said as he did his best not to break down in front of his daughter for he did not wish for her to see him cry.
Nine years ago…..
“Three months after me and your mother married, she discovered she was pregnant with you. I was ecstatic that I was going to be a father. I loved your mother so much. Her smile brought the light in the room. When I first met her, she was a little harsh toward me.
“What was her impression when she first met you?” Beckett looked at his daughter and did his best not to laugh as he said, “At first, she didn’t like me because of my hatred for pirates. What she told me will forever be in the back of my head. She told me the next time she saw me again, I’d better start running. Because she would put her foot so far up my alleyway, it’ll take both the crew of the black pearl and her family to untie her shoe to get it out.
“It wasn’t going to be a good feeling going in and it was not going to feel good coming out.” Eliza began to laugh at her mother’s first impression. “Did she really say that?” Eliza asked. He replied, “Yes, she did and I will never forget it.” “What was she like?” Eliza asked. He replied, “Your mother was beautiful, in the face, in the body and in the mind. Even though she can be cruel to the wicked, but she had a heart of gold and was gentle as a lamb. Any person that she came in contact with loved her, including her sisters and brothers as well.
“All of that changed when one night, her father invited me to dine with him and his family. But the whole time I had my eyes on Ava. That night was a big storm and of course I wasn’t going to go anywhere anytime soon until it cleared up. Everyone was asleep in their bedrooms until I had a gut feeling something was wrong. I go into Ava’s room and she turned her head and saw me with my sword in my hand and I tell her, ‘don’t move’. I stabbed her pillow. I told her to give me her hand, pulled her out of bed, flipped over the covers with my sword still intact, to reveal a copperhead that laid in waiting to strike her while she slept.
“Everyone rushed in the room to see what was going on. Her father was shocked to see what was in front of him. Almost immediately, he recognized the serpent. He whispered the name of his former rival. sometime after the battle between Captain Jack sparrow and Davy Jones. Somehow we were able to make peace between the Pirates and me.
“After a little while, your mother and I married. And this locket that you hold in your hand was her gift to me on the night of our wedding. Not long after, you were born. I remember the day I held you in my arms. You were so tiny, but yet, very happy and healthy. We decided that we were going to have Jack to be your godfather. We planned on having more children after you’ve turned a year or two. After the christening, that’s when your grandfather’s former rival showed up and pointed his pistol at him, saying that he killed his son during one of their encounters. And now he was going to have to pay with his life.
“He aimed for him, but Eliza threw herself in the way of the bullet, sacrificing herself to make sure that everyone that she cared about lived. I remember I held her in my arms, the same way I held you the day you were born….” Beckett said, as he felt the tears roll down his cheeks. “…. She told me to take care of you to make sure they give you all the love that a mother will give to her child, and she passes in my arms. Your grandfathers rival was apprehended and was sentenced to death by hanging. Not once he showed any remorse for his actions.
End Of Flashback
That is why over the past few years raising you, I’m afraid I was going to lose you too, just like I lost your mother.”
Eliza scooted to her father’s side and placed the locket in his hand and closed it into his fist as she looked up at him and said, “I’m not going anywhere anytime soon, because as long as I’m here with you, everything will be all right. You will see.” She smiled at her father and then pulled her into a hug.” I love you so much, Eliza. Never forget that.” He said as he hugged her tighter, afraid that she would disappear into thin air. She replied as she hugged him back, “I love you too, Papa.”
They stayed in that position until Eliza fell asleep. He joined behind her and held tight to his chest. His little girl he called ‘his precious gift’ that his wife left him. Even though he wasn’t religious, he looked out the window and saw her cross necklace hanging on the windowsill and whispered, “I love you, Ava. I never stopped loving you, and I never will.”
I hope you guys enjoyed the story. I know it’s sad but I wanted to sit. Want to put in example that not all people are bad. Don’t forget to like comment and share. Have a blessed day everybody.

“His hair, it hangs in ringlets; His eyes as black as coal; My happiness attend him wherever he may go...”

Happy Mermay, everybody! 🧜‍♀️ In honor of the occasion, I decided to do some art for my old POTC AU, where Carewyn’s brother Jacob is the infamous pirate captain Black Jack Roberts and his other half Duncan is his merman First Mate often just called Ashe! (As in all canons, regardless of where they are romantically, Jacob kind of never fully lets go of calling Duncan by his surname.)
At the start of Act Two, these two went through kind of a traumatic experience, with Jacob thinking he’d nearly lost Ashe forever, only for Ashe to not only save Jacob from Rakepick for a second time, but also reveal himself as a merman in the process. After Ashe was able to get Jacob to safety on a nearby shoreline, I imagine there was a very quiet moment where Jacob was really able to look his lover over a bit more thoroughly and Ashe, for a brief moment, wondered if he would pull away from him, following the revelation. When Jacob looked up into Ashe’s eyes, though, all the merman could feel from him was pure, surging adoration. When Ashe challenged him on this, demanding if Jacob really didn’t care at all that he was a merman -- a creature who lured and drowned sailors -- the pirate captain actually laughed.
“Care? Care? Ashe -- all this time you kept telling me...you kept saying you were the one who saved me, by pulling me up out of the water and onto the beach...but you...you did so much more than that, didn’t you? When Rakepick shot me and pushed me overboard...that thing I felt pulling me through the water to safety -- the arms I felt wrapped around my chest...that wasn’t a dream, was it? That was you, Ashe...wasn’t it? And then, after pulling me ashore...you must’ve come up out of the water, taken human form -- even with how dangerous it probably was for you -- just to get me help! And then after all that -- even after you saved my life twice over, and I didn’t even realize it...you stayed with me all this time, as a human, away from your own kind and away from where you belong -- sailing the high seas at my side, as my First Mate...as my partner -- just to help me fill my debt with Jones and find my Wyn! And now, just now, after coming back from the dead...you managed to save my life again.”
Jacob reached out both of his strong arms and grabbed hold of Ashe, pulling him up and out of the water and into his arms. With just about no effort, Jacob had gotten down on bended knee, placing Ashe onto his bent knee so that only his tail remained in the water.
“Of course I care,” Jacob whispered, his sunken-in blue eyes shining as he placed his forehead beside his First Mate’s. “I’ve never cared more in my life, Ashe.”
Ashe was so overcome by the blazing, all-encompassing warmth pooling off of Jacob that he for a moment was left breathless.
“...Jack...”
When Jacob kissed him, Ashe felt like it was a Kiss of Life circulating air through his lungs when he could not bring it in himself. It filled him with new life and vitality -- made him throw his arms around Jacob in return, clinging to him with new strength.
“I love you,” Jacob breathed against his lips briefly before kissing him again. “God, when I thought I’d lost you -- ”
“Jack,” was all Ashe could manage to breathe back, but the relief and ardor pumping through his veins leaked through despite himself.
The two lovers kissed over and over again, caressing each other’s faces and hair and trailing their hands beside the other’s medallion earring, paying no mind to the sunset behind them nor for the danger that awaited them, just off that shoreline.
At least they were together. In that moment, no threat of Rakepick, Davy Jones, or Cutler Beckett seemed dire, so long as that fact was true.
