unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy

The fun thing about people with ocs is that you can just ask them about their ocs opinions. Like oh what would your oc say about this. What would they think. How would they tell me good night. It's great

people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

the cupcake is such a beautiful idea. oh a little cake you can hold in your hand? and decorated so cutely no less? how delightful!

but the reality of eating a cupcake is the most undignified process there's really no winning. you can lick the icing off or you can try to get a bite off the whole side of it which compromises the integrity of the whole structure crumbling the icing is all over your mouth and nose and forehead at the end of it desperately surping and sucking at the clumps stuck to the wrapper which doesn't even succeed in keeping it from getting all over your hands just total wild animal experience

y’know what i find so delicious? the slow unravelling of a character who’s usually calm and composed and terrifyingly competent. like yes king unravel. yes lose composure. yes sit on the floor in your brocade waistcoat and a cravat that’s half-undone with glassy eyes and shaking hands. weep.
