This little cutie is Meredith. She’s about 4 months-old and has a twisted rear leg so, of course, she was going to be euthanized. Meredith is coming in today at about 11:30am-ish to join our kittens in the Kitten Room. You can watch Meredith arrive on our Kitten Room cam at https://www.youtube.com/c/SnapcatsOrg.
Thank you, Wendy, for driving Meredith here today!

BEAutiful!
Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia. Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.
Bea is the typical, playful kitten who can’t seem to run out of energy. If you watch our live Kitten Room webcam (https://www.youtube.com/user/SNAPCatsVideo) you’ll see them relentlessly running and chasing each other throughout the day. Bea also LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age.
Please note that Bea underwent GS-441524 treatment for FIP earlier this year. Since her treatment ended in March 2022, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. Bea shows no signs of FIP at all. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again (we can’t guarantee ANY cat won’t develop FIP), we’re very optimistic that she won’t.
If you’re interested in Bea please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

THE SAGA CONTINUES…
Willy arrived here in early June with panleukopenia. He battled through that and came out the other side healthy. Then he contracted coccidia, which we treated, and he beat that, too. But now comes Willy’s biggest challenge: FIP. Willy was diagnosed with FIP on August 12th, and started his GS-441524 injections on August 13th. This is going to be a long road for Willy to travel. The GS treatment is 84 days. But Willy’s a fighter. Every day he demonstrates to us that he wants to live.
Please keep Willy in your thoughts and prayers. We’ll keep you updated on his progress. Like Bertie, Bea and Jewel before him, we’re all hoping and praying that Willy will beat FIP and live a long, happy and healthy life.
If you can help with the expense of Willy’s FIP treatment, please make a donation, either through PayPal (https://www.snapcats.org/donate-today/) or by sending a check to our Santa Rosa address. Thank you very much!

Poppy is a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you (and know that you bring her yummy wet food) she’ll be your best friend. Poppy probably won’t be a lap cat, but she’ll appreciate your attention and welcome pets and rubs. She gets along fine with other kitties, but we don’t know how she’d be with dogs. Poppy hasn’t shown any symptoms of heart disease. She’s a healthy, playful kitty, so we’re hoping she’ll stay healthy and live a long, happy life.
If you’re interested in Poppy please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

BIG BENNY HEADED TO BODEGA BAY!
Benny is going to Bodega Bay today with his (hopefully) new mom, Susan. Susan had a tough time deciding between Benny, Sunday and Poppy, but big Benny won her heart. Thank you, Susan, for giving Benny the chance of a warm, loving home!

This cutie is Screech. She’s about 5 months-old and FeLV+. Screech is on her way here with Veronica from Sacramento where she was with Cats About Town Society when they discovered she was FeLV+. She also tested FIV+, but because a FIV test for kittens under the age of 6 months isn’t always accurate, we’ll retest her again in a few months to get a definitive answer.
Thank you, Veronica, for saving Screech and driving her here!

Anna (Banana) is 4 years 9 months-old and sponsored by Tawny Brunetta. Anna wants attention, she just doesn’t know how to accept it yet. She was rescued (in Kuwait) from a group of kids who thought it’d be fun to run over her with the bikes. Despite being paralyzed in her rear legs, Anna uses the litter box 100% of the time, and is very clean (never needs a bath).
She’s also very vocal. If you watch our live kitten room webcam (https://www.youtube.com/user/SNAPCatsVideo) you can hear her meowing for attention. Anna’s okay with other kitties, so would be fine with maybe one or two other mellow kitties. And we've recently learned that Anna loves to be brushed!
So if you're interested in Anna please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!
