Still wondering who was the guy that fushiguro reader introduced to the zenin clan. Like they have high standards and all and he CHECKS THEM ALL OUT

Obviously, it's an OC. And I'm gonna use this ask to introduce him to yall.

His name is Eros (maybe) and he's just slightly taller than reader, with a short, black, neat hair cut. He has brown eyes and a quite symmetrical face with like perfect features.

He is an orphan, and he worked very hard to raise himself, put himself through college and become a doctor. He did have some help though, from a mysterious guy that Eros has told you is his "uncle" who you've only met once and he did not share any resemblance with your fiance at all (but who are you to judge when you don't look like your stupid uncle Naoya)

Anyways, back to Eros. You met him when you were at 7/11 and saved him from a thief with a knife, and it ended up with you getting your hand slashed. Eros took you to his clinic where he stitched you up and he was amused by you because instead of whimpering or flinching about your injury, you were just happily chomping on your onigiri.

Obviously, Naoya called you as soon as the store clerk (that he had hired to spy on you) told him what happened, and told you to stay put while he comes and gets you. Naoya came in record time, freaked out when he saw your bandaged hand, asked if you were okay and when you confirmed, he immediately started scolding you and telling you how stupid you were and how he's gonna put you on a lock down and ban you from leaving the house and all kinds of restrictions. You just rolled your eyes, thanked Eros and told Naoya to shut up, which infuriated him more and resulted in Naoya yelling at you more and the both of you left the clinic, but not before Naoya threw like a 1000 bucks at Eros.

Now, Eros was intrigued by you and perhaps it was destiny for him to meet you several times at 7/11, but he did, and each time he was more interested by how you were in your own world, head bopping happily or sometimes you'd clap in satisfaction when you'd eat something really good. Perhaps it was how naive or childish you were, that made him attracted to you. He saw himself in you- or at least what he would've been like if he'd had a normal childhood (yes, he has a sad tragic past).

All Eros wants to do is spoil you, in every single way possible. He wants to take care of you, and in a way, it'd help heal his inner child.

So, when he asks you out on a date, you two really hit it off because he's perfect in every single way possible. Sure, he sometimes zones out and has that thousand yard stare when you're enjoying something, but that's not really a flaw to nitpick.

He's the type of bf who calls you "my beloved" or "my love". The type of guy who'd sit you down and tie your shoe laces, the type to push your head to his chest when your head feels heavy, the type of s/o who is your no.1 cheerleader. Like he hypes you up so much, and even though he's a doctor and is busy as hell, he still makes time for you.

He's super low maintenance, like he gets so happy when you do the bare minimum for him. Buy him a customised stethoscope/scrubs? He picks you up and swings you around. Pack him a lunch? You're getting kisses and hugs all week long. Hold him/cuddle him/bear hug him? He's sobbing and thanking you.

His only flaw? His dark past, which has made him into a doctor that may or may not have killed a few patients. His "uncle" sends some targets his way and Eros gets rid of them in a clean and effective way, and since he's like crazy smart (which he down plays a lot), he leaves no evidence.

Eros is a yandere for reader, 100%. He wants to protect her, care of her, spoil her, and support her in any endeavour she wants. Just as long as he gets to be by her side. He cannot see a future without you. So my man who is utterly in love with you, pops up the question and proposes.

He's so happy when you say yes, and he just shushes you when you voice your concerns about your family, telling you he'll take care of everything.

Jam (40 min)

I have to admit, I grew up a spoiled child. With a grandmother single-handedly supplying the entire town with jam, I never had to resort to the store-bought kind until long after she passed and all her stock was used up. Fortunately, she taught me well. And what better time to put the skill to use than in summer with a plethora of in season fruits at your disposal? The results of a few minutes suffering the heat of stirring in a bubbling pot are well worth the effort in my opinion. 

Equipment:

A large pot (and I really mean large, you don’t want this to be more than half full)

Clean jars and fitting lids

A timer 

A small plate / bowl that easily has space in your fridge

Funnel (optional)

Oven mitts or a dry kitchen towel

Damp cleaning cloth (or something of the sort)

Ingredients:

These are highly customisable. Depending on the type of sugar you're using, you’ll need up to 1.5 kg of fruit / 1.5 L of fruit juice per 500g packet of gelling sugar (essentially just regular sugar with pectin mixed in). The main difference regarding the sugar is its intended ratio to the fruit. The most common ones I’ve seen are 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 (sugar:fruit). Other than the jam’s sweetness (obviously) the kind you use will influence how shelf-stable it is. The higher the sugar content, the longer you can store it. That being said, I normally use the 1:2 and I’ve never once ran into the issue of the jam going bad before it was all devoured. (That being well over a year when making a large batch. Some of my grandma’s have been forgotten in the cellar for almost 10 and they still were fine. Just trust your eyes and nose when opening up a jar. And label them with the date made.)

It’s perfectly fine to use frozen fruit. Just let it thaw before you get started. 

I recommend adding some lemon juice (about 1 lemon per kg). It helps with thickening the jam and is especially important when you’re using very sweet fruit. The gelling sugar usually has some citric acid added, but I find that adding the fresh lemon helps. Also it offsets the sweetness a bit.

Other than that, go wild! You can add spices, herbs, liquor (you might want to add that after cooking though)... Just make sure you keep the ratio specified on the sugar and you’ll be just fine!

Instructions: 

If you’re using fresh fruit, wash it well, pat dry and cut into small pieces. If you prefer a smooth jam, you can blend it. 

Add all ingredients to a large pot and mix well. Make sure it’s only about half full max. 

Now, most gelling sugar package instructions will tell you to let everything sit for at least a few hours, but honestly, I find that it doesn’t really make a difference to skip this step if you’re in a hurry. It won’t hurt to wait, but it won’t ruin your jam if you don’t.

Before you start cooking, you’ll need to sterilise the jars. (And don’t forget the lids either!) There’s many ways of doing this and a quick online search will give you many results, like putting them through a hot cycle in the dishwasher. Because I don’t have one, my go to method is to first give them a good scrub and then rinse them with boiling water from the kettle, leaving them upside down on a clean kitchen towel until filling. Getting them up to temperature now will also prevent any glass cracking when filling with the hot jam.

While stirring, bring the jam to a boil. The bubbling kind, you really want this going. Once it does start your timer. In most cases it will be 4 minutes, but check the package instructions for specifics. Make sure to keep stirring, you don’t want anything getting stuck to the bottom of the pot.

The jam might produce foam (hence the big pot). If you want to, you can remove it with a spoon, but that’s mainly an aesthetic thing. (Theoretically, the trapped air could contaminate the jam and make it go off faster, but I have yet to witness that happening.)

Once time’s up, reduce the heat to low and spoon out a little bit of the jam onto a plate and put it in the fridge. This is to check if the gelling worked. The jam should start to thicken quickly when cooling. If it’s still too runny, boil it a little longer. If it’s too thick, add a little water. 

When you’re happy with the consistency, remove the pot from the heat and start filling the jars. I do this holding the jar in one hand with an oven mitt (because this will get uncomfortably hot very quickly) ladling the jam in with the other. If the opening of the jar is very small, a funnel can be helpful (make sure that is also sterilised!). Fill it up until just about the brim. Now, if there’s any spills, wipe the screw-top clean. You’ll thank yourself later when you try opening it again. Tightly close the jar and place it upside down.

Repeat until you’re out of jam. I always have an odd amount left that isn’t quite enough for a whole jar. That’s fine though. Simply eat that first.

Allow the jam to cool for about 5 minutes before flipping the jars.

Notes:

While the sugar content certainly plays a role in preserving, the most important thing is that all your utensils are clean. It’s a bit of work, yes, but ending up with mouldy jam would be worse, right?

Heya, just wondering, are there limitations for what can be customised for Caduceus Branch uniforms, such as colours and all that in the Manga Verse?

Pretty much anything goes coloring wise as long as they're not neon colors and it isn't a shade of red that's too close to the color of blood. (And white isn't recommended since getting blood stains out of that would be a major pain.)

Examples of colors for anyone curious since we do mainly operate in grayscale over here:

Derek being the standard blue they hand out for Caduceus USA.

Character that hasn't appeared yet, but she's rocking some mintish green scrubs. (And the standard look for R&D with her gloves.)

And Adel, who is not gonna be appearing for awhile till we get to his storyline, is rocking a mixture of colors for his scrubs.

Pretty much just like in real life, scrubs come in a whole rainbow of colors so it would make sense Caduceus has multiple options. Just have to keep it within reason.

And of course, you have to have the arm bands on. It's just part of identifying someone as a member of Caduceus. (Though this is mainly in regards to Caduceus USA uniforms. The other branches have their insignias on the scrubs.)

As for decals, like pins and jewelry, it's requested to be kept to a minimum so you don't have things getting in the way.

Perfect examples being Tyler and Leslie's pins and Derek's necklace.

soobin wasn't like yeonjun when he was tiny- he was worse. at least, at first, he was.

given his stubborn streak, having him tiny with lots of hiding space did no one any good. the first few times they tried getting soobin to bathe, he ran away and hid until he came back to his normal size.

by the fourth time, the members decided to lure him out with icecream, and it worked!

as the oldest, they let yeonjun deal with soobin while he bathed, making sure he didn't run away and washed properly. soobin took it like the brat he was, frowning and exerting extra force while scrubbing himself. occasionally, he would purposely splash some water out of the sink, hoping to get some droplets on yeonjun.

once he was done, yeonjun couldn't help but coo.

"aww, who's a good boy?" he said, smiling while giving soobin a towel to dry with. "that wasn't so bad, was it?"

soobin let out the loudest 'hmph' he could manage in his tiny body, which included a small voice crack. wrapped in the small towel, still pouting and ignoring his hyung, yeonjun decided to indulge to lighten the mood.

"wanna watch some anime while we wait?" yeonjun noticed the little glance soobin sent his way and took it as a win. grinning, he carried the tiny man into his room.

with his laptop propped on his chair, playing jujutsu kaisen, he and soobin watched on from the bed.

2 episodes in, yeonjun felt a movement against his hand. he only looked when the movements stopped and realised soobin had made it his bed for the night.

"you can't sleep in that, baby, you'll get sick."

yeonjun tried unwrapping the towel as gently as he could but the younger only held it tighter around himself.

"soobin." the tiny man only shook his head and burrowed his face into the towel.

"how about," he started, tugging the towel a little to see soobin's face, "i put you under my blanket and then you give me the towel? is that okay?"

the younger gave in and that was that.

if the following morning they woke up with yeonjun spooning a naked normal-sized soobin, no one has to know.

the next time soobin shrunk, yeonjun was ready. he'd searched at toy stores and for tailors willing to take on the project of customising small clothes, "for a doll," he told them. he bought some that he thought would suit soobin and had others customised just for him.

once soobin was bathed, after a chase no less, yeonjun brought him to his room where he had laid out the clothes on his bed.

with an assortment of all the small clothing, soobin finally felt comfortable enough to wander around the dorm in his tiny state. of course, the first thing he did was pull pranks on everyone- missing items, misplaced phones, pinches (bites) on hands while they sat on the sofa.

eventually, everyone realised soobin was pulling on their strings. now, whenever he did those pranks, they would put him in a big bowl 'to reflect'.

it went on to the point where, when they couldn't find their stuff, they would threaten soobin with the big bowl to make him fess up.

the first time they used it, soobin clung onto the sleeve of beomgyu's sweater. he shook his head and let out loud whines, shoulders shaking. after getting soobin in the bowl, he stuck out his tongue at them and proceeded to ignore everyone, even when they offered icecream.

he only softened up again after yeonjun brought him to bed, tucked him in, a little kiss on the top of his head, and a "sorry we used the big bowl on you."
