Look at this fiddle! Over 600 rings!! Some of the tightest grain I've ever seen and it's Cypress! This Cypress was rescued from the bottom of a river and made into this custom fiddle. Typically not a good wood for this type of instrument, but with over 600 rings - making it old growth without a doubt - the tight grain allows it to be bowed at the front without splitting or cracking while providing good tonality. Truly a one-of-a-kind and a sight to behold. He meticulously crafted each piece of brass to match her brush strokes.  What patience and skill! The finished piece is simply gorgeous.
