My Epic Struggle to Free a Samsung Phone from Carrier Jail
Here I capture a frustrating ordeal resolving my husband's phone issue, from conflicting advice to lost data. It took multiple days -- and intense emotions -- despite seeking help from multiple parties before the phone was working (and my tears dried).
My husbandâs cell phone wasnât the only thing that needed to be unlocked âBefore I do this factory reset, will this unlock my phone if that ends up being the problem?â I typed into the Samsung chat, nearly three hours after it had started. âIt will unlock the device please try that,â the Samsung Pro typed, ignoring my fears along with proper punctuation. Noman was the first and fifth such proâŚ

compiling my headcanons for what video games dungeon meshi characters would like, if they were gamers in modern day
some taken from this post and my reblog additions there. added more characters, with some suggestions by friends/mutuals (marked by *asterisk ).
this can also be a games recommendation list based on your fav/most relatable characters too, if you want
characters that are not are included are bc i dont have ideas for them. if i only list the genre name but not any specific titles, its bc im not familiar enough with the character/genre to pick a specific game.
this list is, of course, biased towards games im more familiar with. feel free to ask me to elaborate on my choices or make suggestions in the comments
Laios' party:
Laios: plays lots of Monster Hunter. loves Spore but he doesnt often play past the tribal stage. likes Pokemon but he's more focused on catching the pokemon than following the story. played WolfQuest and DragonFable back in the day. enjoyed the concept of Bugsnax but wasn't interested in dealing with the NPCs
Marcille: mainly Dwarf Fortress, RTS games, some colony sims. but also sometimes The Sims, and dollmaker dress-up games. i could see her also enjoying Rollercoaster Tycoon and making elaborately-themed parks. might also occasionally indulge in some visual novels if she's in the mood for narrative she has Stardew Valley so she can have something to play co-op with falin, but its not a game she plays a lot of otherwise. when playing with falin, marcille micromanages the farm to maximize productivity, and does the decorations
Chilchuck: puzzle games and hidden object/escape room games as a video game-equivalent to finding/dismantling traps and lockpicking. i think he'd also enjoy Bejeweled.
Senshi: mainly Wii games and Cooking Mama. occasionally plays Snake on his 15-year-old nokia phone. i dont think he would enjoy games like Overcooked or restaurant manager games, because he likes to take his time making food, not stressing about customer service
Falin: some *Legend of Zelda games â she likes the exploration aspect in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, maybe also some of the toon zelda games like Minish Cap or Wind Waker she also plays Pokemon (*Pokemon Go when she's traveling), and i think she would enjoy some indie games, like Penko Park or Chicory: A Colorful Tale. plays Stardew Valley co-op with marcille â falin mainly takes care of the animals, mining, and picking the crops. occasionally makes improvement suggestions that marcille didnt think of
Izutsumi: i could see her enjoying games with parkour mechanics, like *Assassin's Creed, or Mirror's Edge. or maybe something simple but requiring cat-like swipes, like Fruit Ninja. despite her impatience, i think she could also enjoy action games with interesting longer narratives, as evidenced by [this omake] (relevant portion pictured below), so maybe *Final Fantasy 7 â my friend who's familiar with the game said "sheâd find Cloud and Vincent relatable"
[ID: a dungeon meshi omake, where laios' party watches a nightmare monster manifest marcille's dream. there are snippets of dramatic soap opera-like dialogue. the rest of the party are initially enthusiastic but get bored over time, meanwhile izutsumi remains enthralled]
Kabru's party
Kabru: definitely Crusader Kings. maybe also some rpgs with relationship/faction mechanics, such as *Fire Emblem (one of the older ones or FE:3H) or Fallout: New Vegas (hes maxing out the speech stat asap) i think he would also enjoy mystery games like Pentiment and Return of the Obra Dinn â he would love the process of getting familiar with the many characters and deducing "who did what" in both games.
Rin: she takes pride in being an indie gamer (translating her disdain for upper class magic academy mages -> disdain for AAA games). given her chain-lightning magic in canon, i think she'd enjoy games with AOE-type magic, so maybe games such as Vampire Survivors. my mutual also suggested she might enjoy indie mystery visual novels like *Paranormasight, and that her AAA guilty-pleasure would be *Final Fantasy 14 â that rin is "a hardcore ff14 raider. would join PUGs and shot-call every week. #holm and diya might also play ff14 casually with rin but holm would be fishing mainly"
Mickbell: mainly Bethesda games like Fallout and Skyrimâ enjoys the bootstrapper power fantasy in them. the type to go out of his way to pick up all the loot he can, to later sell
Kuro: enjoys the same games as Mickbell, but for the open-world exploration and investigation factors
Toshiro and Tansu's party:
Namari: her interest in fighting and weapons could translate to brawler/fighting games and action games with a focus on weapon stats â so maybe *Street Fighter, *God of War, and/or *Dark Souls. might play *Monster Hunter with laios but for the weapons. i could also see her occasionally enjoying truck simulators
Toshiro (Shuro): has the perseverance for soulslikes and other high-difficulty action and/or metroidvania games, but would take his time overthinking item/weapon synergies sometimes. given [his fondness for bugs], i could also see him enjoying Hollow Knight
Tade: would enjoy the cute aesthetics and lighthearted gameplay of Animal Crossing and Katamari. would also like idol anime rhythm games
Kiki: i think she would enjoy horror games such as Resident Evil, but would play it while super chill. i dont have much reasoning for this aside from vibes
Canaries:
Mithrun: plays Doom. got into Hollow Knight but still hasn't finished it because he keeps getting lost. senshi introduces him to Cooking Mama later on, which he finds surprisingly therapeutic
Cithis: plays Hitman and enjoys staging elaborate accident kills. i think she'd also enjoy The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, with her background as a devious fortune-teller
Fleki: surreal indie games like Hylics. also plays Team Fortress 2, and is a scout main. occasionally joins lycion in Animal Jam
Lycion: active WolfQuest and Animal Jam player. occasionally joins fleki in tf2
Pattadol: plays Stardew Valley â shes comparatively a normie, but on the meticulous side. she would enjoy perfecting her in-game farm
Otta: plays Genshin Impact. the serious reasoning is because of her (earth) elemental magic and how genshin has an elemental magic system (from my understanding. ive never played it). the joke reasoning is how some genshin players play to collect "waifus", and how otta goes through a lot of women in her dating life
Other:
Leed: runs her own guild in World of Warcraft
Winged Lion: god-games like WorldBox or Simmiland. and Darkest Dungeon (this ones mostly a joke)
Thistle: plays the original Plants VS. Zombies. also plays Minecraft and is very serious about it, but hasn't updated his game in years (translating the fact hes a 1000-year-old kid frozen in time -> playing "slightly old" games popular in the early 2010s)
[ID: tweet reply by twitter user ranchuppi â "thistle calls it lord delgal's server but he is the only mod. whole royal family is locked in spectator mode. Hell. living hell on earth."]
#dungeon meshi#delicious in dungeon#its not that spoilery but just in case anyone needs it#ive never owned any game consoles except a laptop so i watch a lot of lets plays/game showcases. and a fair amount of those are indie games#so this is probably a somewhat biased selection. i wanted to give several indie shout outs tho esp if they matched the character well#dungeon meshi spoilers#delicious in dungeon spoilers#mynn.txt#dm meta#yes this goes in my dunmeshi meta tag. this is character analysis to me

Here, dear @bryverros just make me think too much about this lmao
So... Is Zuko Disney Princess coded? Let's see.
He's canonically part of a royal family, so the title is there, no marriage needed.
He has superpowers (firebending) and a particular ability his really good at (swordfighting), you know like Elsa with ice and MĂŠrida with archery.
Another thing he has in common with MĂŠrida is the fact he doesn't agree with his father about stuff and he doesn't know how to shut up about it (:
He got the evil parent AND the evil sister (at least Cinderella was adopted)
He talks to animals (yk the frog thing), animals trust him too (Appa), and he got a magical pet (Ruk).
He had an incredible glow up.
Let's say that Iroh is his fairy godmother, gives him good advice, helps him prepare for his dates and always reminds him that he is a prince even at his lowest.
He is fighting for his honor (I mean, if you told the guy he would get back his honor going to the matchmaker, he would've been first in line, doing way better than Mulan with the tea thing)
He would cry looking at his reflection while this verse sounds in the background "If I wear a mask, I can fool the world, but I cannot fool my heart".
Being Lee for a month show him that he was meant to fulfil his role as a part of the royal family (customer service/domestic work does that to people)
He got a love interest that fell for him with zero knowledge about who he was: his title or his past or real identity, so if you want to eat up the classic Disney princess romance. There you go.
He goes through the tantrums, emotional rollercoasters and "the world hates me" moments like a pro.
The change of heart moment happens to him as it happens to most disney princess, and it defines his destiny. So point checked.
He went into a life changing adventure with the first cute and friendly guy that stood in front of him (I'm not even explaining more about this).
He gets the throne at the end of the show (in this point we only got Elsa, and I'm sure Zuko also considered moving to the forest after being Fire Lord for a year, but his sister wasn't as reliable as Anna).
His canon love interest is a childhood love that ended up saving his life and that's so princess coded that there's no need to give an example, it just makes sense.
I think there are things I'm not addressing, but for now this is enough to conclude that... yeah, he is sooo princess coded.

What is it like to be loved by you?
How do people you love/ have loved see you?
Pile : 1~2~3
How to choose a pile?
Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Kindly ask your spirit guides to show you the right pile for yourself and then open your eyes. Whichever pile catches your attention is the right pile for you.

Pile 1
Being loved by you is an extremely unique and captivating experience that intertwines passion, inspiration, and profound connection. Unknowingly you're a muse for those around you.
For those whom you love , you become the source of their creative inspiration, the very embodiment of their artistic vision. Your presence evokes a stirring within them, igniting a creative fire that fuels their imagination and propels their artistic expression to new heights. People who are loved by you can express themselves authentically, it makes them love themselves more.
They are drawn to your essence, captivated by your beauty, both outwardly and within.
Being loved by you means witnessing their vulnerability firsthand. People open themselves up, allowing you to glimpse into the depths of their aching souls. You witness their moments of self-doubt, their relentless pursuit of perfection, and their unwavering dedication to perfect themselves.
Being loved by you is a journey of self-discovery, mutual inspiration, and unspoken connection. It is a dance of passion and creativity, where your very existence becomes a catalyst for self expression. Together, you traverse the realms of imagination, transcending the boundaries of conventional love, and entering a realm where love and compassion intertwine in an extraordinary symphony of emotions.
Pile 2
Being loved by you is like riding a rollercoaster. It is a wild journey filled with unpredictable twists and turns. Some moments bring sheer delight and exhilaration and Other times, fear grips them tightly, as doubts and insecurities creep in.
Every encounter with you is an adventure, an invitation to surrender to the thrill of the unknown. With each passing day, people can't help but wonder what awaits them around the corner. It is an experience that keeps them on their toes, never allowing them to get too comfortable.
Yet deep down, they know that this love is not meant to last forever. It is a temporary amusement, a fleeting joy. No matter how much they crave stability and security, they think that your time is limited. However it also makes them crave for more of you and your love. It's addicting.
Despite the uncertainty and the knowledge that the love would eventually come to a time of numbness, they can't resist the allure of your love. They are captivated by the exhilaration, the way you make them feel alive. Even in the midst of the fear and uncertainty, they find themselves holding on tightly, cherishing each moment of the love they think is forbidden.
Falling for you is like falling for trouble itself. It's a risky endeavour, filled with uncertainty and potential consequences but it is an addiction they can't resist. Some fear being loved by you because of how addicting it is. They have seen people fall for the way you love.
Gives me the vibe of the one that got away.
Pile 3
Being loved by you is a truly transformative and life-changing experience. Your love is so profound that it has the power to touch the deepest parts of a person's soul. When you pour out your love, people can't help but be overwhelmed by its magnitude and the way it envelops them entirely.
Your love is like that of a toddler's favorite person. Just as a child finds comfort, joy, and unwavering trust in their favorite person, those fortunate enough to be loved by you experience a similar sense of security and contentment. Your affection becomes their safe haven, a place where they can always find solace and be themselves without any fear of judgment.
In your presence, people feel cherished and valued beyond measure. Your love has the ability to heal wounds, mend broken hearts, and restore faith in humanity. It's a love that brings out the best in others, inspiring them to be the most authentic version of themselves.
They become more confident, more compassionate, and more open to the wonders of life. Your love has the power to uplift and empower, encouraging others to pursue their dreams and embrace their true potential.
Being loved by you is an extraordinary privilege, for your love has the capacity to transform lives in profound ways. It's a love that knows no boundaries, that has the ability to break down walls and bridge divides. Those who are lucky enough to experience your love are forever grateful, knowing that they have encountered a love that is truly rare and special.

Bonus Tip: Embrace the beauty of Libra! Surround yourself with art, music, and inspiring spaces. Treat yourself to a new outfit that reflects your brand, and remember, sometimes, a little self-care is the best investment you can make.
So, there you have it! The Moon in Libra is your invitation to charm your way to business success, find financial balance, and collaborate your way to prosperity. Remember, success is a beautiful duet, not a solo act. So, find your perfect business partner, raise a glass (or a latte) to financial harmony, and let Libraâs moonlit waltz guide you to a fulfilling and abundant future.

Mars Signs when reacting to bad food during a dinner date
Note : Totally satire, I swear. Although as a Libra Mars, accurate
Mars in Aries: They'll demand to speak to the manager like they're leading a battlefield. "Unacceptable! We demand satisfaction, and we demand it now! Charge!"
Mars in Taurus: They'll stare at the plate like they're contemplating the meaning of life before declaring, "This is a disaster. I might never recover from this. Bring me the chef, now!"
Mars in Gemini: They'll roll their eyes, take a dramatic bite, and announce, "Well, this meal is a one-star comedy show. I hope they have a good Yelp review because they're going to need it!"
Mars in Cancer: They'll look at their plate, then at their date, and sigh dramatically, "I knew I should have just cooked at home. This is an emotional rollercoaster I didn't sign up for!"
Mars in Leo: They'll raise their voice dramatically, "Excuse me! This is not what I ordered, and it's definitely not fit for a king or queen. My kingdom deserves better!"
Mars in Virgo: They'll inspect their plate with a critical eye, then call the waiter over, "I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to give you some notes on this dish. We need to talk about the seasoning, pronto!"
Mars in Libra: They'll smile sweetly at the waiter, "Oh, no, everything's fine. Don't worry about it. But also, can we have a serious chat about what just happened in the kitchen?"
Mars in Scorpio: They'll shoot daggers with their eyes, summoning the waiter with an ominous gaze. "You. We need to talk. And you better have a good explanation for this catastrophe, or things will get... intense."
Mars in Sagittarius: They'll laugh uproariously, "Well, this is a disaster, but at least it's a hilarious disaster! Let's just add this to our list of epic dinner date stories, shall we?"
Mars in Capricorn: They'll calmly put down their fork, call the waiter over, and declare, "This isn't acceptable. We need to talk about your standards, the restaurant's standards, and the standards of this entire industry."
Mars in Aquarius: They'll shrug and say, "Well, this is a fascinating social experiment in customer service, isn't it? Let's see how they handle a dissatisfied diner with a Ph.D. in constructive criticism."
Mars in Pisces: They'll gaze at their plate with a wistful sigh, then whisper to their date, "I think this meal might be a metaphor for the existential dread we all carry within us. Or maybe the chef just needs a hug."

RobStar Week 2023, Day 2 - Carnival/Amusement Park
(Shhh, I know I'm late.)
---
Kory glanced aside at Dick knowingly as he switched the turn signal on, moving them towards the right lane of the highway.
He took his eyes off the road briefly, sending her a conspiratorial wink.
Grinning, Kory waited until they were about half a mile away from their exit, before calling back to the two children in the backseat, both slumped over and staring glumly out their windows, disappointed over the end of their trip.
"Mar'i? Jake? Can you look out the window to your right and tell me what you see?" she asked them, failing to hide the mischievous sparkle in her green eyes.
Mar'i was on the right side, and lifted her head from her chin curiously, sending a puzzled squint out the window as the sign for the exit came up.
They knew the moment she'd realized because an ear-splitting excited squeal at an unholy decible shook the car.
"IT'S WETZLEYWOOOOOORLD!" Mar'i shouted, fists clenched, bouncing in her seat.
"What's Wetzleyworld?" asked Jake, leaning over and straining to see.
"Oh my gosh, Jake, it's so fun! We came once when you and I were little, I think you were two, it's the most awesomest, funnest, coolest place ever!" She squealed again, the seatbelt straining to contain her as she floated a half-inch above her seat. "It's got bumper cars and rock climbing and rollercoasters and a Ferris wheel and-"
Dick and Kory smiled at each other from the front seats, pleased at having kept the impromptu visit a surprise for their little ones.
"Hope they still have the Whirl-a-Gig Tower," Dick commented, sliding the car neatly into the exit lane.
"Oh yes, that one was one of my favorites as well," Kory agreed, nodding. Her eyes pinched suddenly, skin wrinkling between her brows. "Did you hear they tore down the Sonic Splashdown?"
He glanced askance at her. "No!" he said, dismayed and in disbelief. "Aww man, we loved that one. It was the perfect cooldown ride for summer."
"I hear they have revamped it with a newer style. It will still be a water ride just... not as big," she hastened to inform him, not quite able to hide her own disappointment.
Dick gave a grumbling sigh. "Guess it can't be helped." He checked over with her, pulling them up to a stoplight. "You've got all our passes?"
She nodded, slipping her hand into the canvas bag in her lap and producing them, four slightly folded sheets of paper. "Indeed. We need to present these at the front gates, which will gain us admittance, and then we must report to the Customer Service booth to gain the laminated badges."
He reached over and squeezed her hand, warmly affectionate. "Thanks for handling that, Star," he told her gratefully. "I know it was a lot to handle on short notice."
Kory flipped a bit of her hair back proudly. "It was nothing," she declared. "I rather enjoyed talking to the service representative; she was very nice and helpful and is expecting a third child in May."
Dick chuckled. Leave it to his Starfire to make friends with a total stranger.
The light flipped to green and he released the brake, taking the turn into the drive that led to the main entrance.

The crowds were impressive, several groups of students, families, and youth groups in matching shirts scattered here and there, and dozens of individual families milling around as well. The noise of their talking was matched only by the noise of the amenities, roaring coasters rattling on their tracks, vendors hawking for players at the prize booths, popcorn and cotton candy machines going full steam. The park's kindly mascot, Wetzley the Walrus, twinkled round black eyes out from plushies, billboards, and signage.
Mar'i was already begging for a giant pink flamingo prize hanging above the baseball toss. Dick paid the extra fee and let Kory have the honors, watching her wind up and let a rip with just a touch of her alien strength.
Just a touch was all it took, toppling the whole stack of weighted bottles with a magnificent clatter. Kory beamed as the attendant handed her the flamingo, and Dick felt a rush of nostalgia and adoration; His wife had wanted the same stuffed prize years and years ago when they'd first come here, on what was technically their first date. Technically because they had still been in that weird awkward stage of, "We're just friends, we don't totally like each other at all, but I still really care about impressing you."
The asshole who had prevented him from even taking a turn at the game was no longer working that particular booth, he was satisfied to see.
Mar'i was making grabby hands with her fingers. "Can I hold it? Can I? Can I?"
Kory frowned. "I do not believe that is a good idea, Mar'i. It it much larger than you are, and we do not want to attract attention."
"Awwww!" Mar'i groaned in disappointment, dropping her hands.
"Besides," Dick said, coming up closer, "we're going to have them reserve it at the front for us. That way it won't get wet or dirty before we take it home."
Mar'i mumbled but accepted that logic. Jake, meanwhile, had spotted the carousel.
"MOMMY!" he squealed, pointed excitedly. "DADDY! THEY HAVE A SEAHORSE!"
"Yeah?" Dick responded, leaning down with hands on his knees, matching his son's excitement.
"Yes, see!"
"Well we'd better go ride it then," he urged, taking the flamingo as Kory passed it to him, handing it in turn to the park runner who had just been summoned to fetch the large prize to the front for safekeeping.
Jake was off like a rocket, his sister three steps behind him.
"Do not get too far ahead!" Kory called in worried warning, trying to keep up.
***
When all the coasters had been ridden at least onceâand some of them twiceâmultiple snacks consumed, both children's faces painted with bright designsâMar'i had gotten a swirling gold and silver configuration called Azure Princess and Jake had gotten the tusks and beady eyes of the ever-ubiquitous Wetzleyâand everyone's calves and feet were thoroughly exhausted Dick finally called an end to the day.
Mar'i trudged along sleepily at his side, while Kory held a dozing Jake, his little arms draped around her shoulders.
"I am glad we could share this with them again," Kory said, as they made their way through the exit gate, picking up their flamingo on the way. She smiled in a way that made his heart flip inside him. "This is still my favorite place to come with you," she said, voice soft.
His cheeks heated and like that he was mentally fifteen again, gaping in awe at how pretty she was, how vibrant and full of life and endless enthusiasm.
"Yeah," was all he could say to agree.
Their hands found each other's as they walked across the parking lot, son and daughter and flamingo in tow, the orange light of sunset splashing across the sky.

Third Time's The Charm
fandom: The Lorax relationship: Normaler word count: 9490 (1 chapter out of 3) rating: T warnings: discussions of depressions but also omitting of such by characters summary: âHave you noticed all those people just going around to the center? All the time today, I see them going around, laughing and stuff, and there are so many of them. Havenât heard if thereâs like a contest or the marketplace got moved to today,â Norma remarked, trying to piece together all the evidence before her. To no avail. She had to cave in. âDo you know anything about this?â
Felicia didnât seem too moved by it, âOh, that? Some quirky guy has been performing with a guitar in the gazebo, trying to sell overpriced junk. I havenât seen him myself but Iâve heard the chatter. You seriously havenât heard?â
âNo⌠Not really, IâŚâ All confused, she tried to find the correct words. Again, set up for a failure. âA new guy? Do tell, huh.â
Or how Norma met Once-ler.
--
hello Normaler tag, I'm back! dedicated to lovely ppl at @all-things-normaler <3
--
As the last customer left the shop, with her best customer service smile, Norma waved them a courtesy goodbye. Only then her face fell flat on her arms right on the counter.
What had gotten into her, Norma wasnât sure. Seemed like a perfectly usual day in the bright city of Greenville. People went around, some of the locals, two people she had never met. Those who had ordered books before had gone to pick up their orders. Those who werenât sure what to pick, heard Normaâs vast experience shine through as she explained to them the plot of the ongoing series. A saleswoman through and through, Norma knew exactly how to pique someoneâs interest. Truly, it was a day like any other.
But maybe that was exactly the case. Day after day, they seemed to fly by in front of her chestnut colored eyes. It wasnât as if Norma didnât like her job, far from it. Yet the mundane-ness of her life seemed just enough to make her dissatisfied. Or at least, would it?
Wincing to herself, Norma picked up her head and brushed curls from her face. Every time thoughts like these had occurred in her head, she remembered the words of her dear older brother Freddie. Norma, if a rollercoaster was going 50 miles per hour and not 60, youâd yawn. That she couldnât disagree with. Hence doubts started to appear immediately as she even let those thoughts slip.
There was no use in complaining or succumbing to any of this, Norma knew it. After all, being a responsible adult, small shop owner and someone who wanted to balance out her life the best, she knew exactly what she was doing. So she straightened up her frame, fixed her yellow dress and tended back to the business. No need to dwell on her own increasingly worse habits.
Oh, right, another one. Just this thought made Norma roll her eyes away. Câmon, it wasnât a death sentence to be quote unquote boring sometimes.

so im working on getting employed somewhere else away from my dismal customer service job (ill be working with kids!) which will allow me to acquire a new skillset and be around more positive seeming people (i know a lot from them being regulars at the store) as well of course a higher salary lol. two weeks ago i tagged along with my friend who had to pick up her kid there from a cutesy halloween event. she works at one facility and was getting me initiated and p much having me networking with the staff since all of them were there.
ANYWAY we get to a crafts table of some sort and sheâs talking with the employees in charge of that and thatâs when I see a guy sitting close by. we lock eyes for like. a heartbeat and a half. and Heâs well. my type. or the type i just attract. big brown eyes. nice nose. luscious dark hair. most likely latino or italian american. Yep. he wore a lanyard with ID so i think heâs also an employee there. we werenât really introduced as i guess my friend/ex boss doesnât really know him or didnt recognize he was there (we were both pretty much running around greeting and talking to people). there were no words exchanged. we just stared at each other and i felt something i havenât felt in Years.
soâŚ.. hopefully i see him at the career fair or something. or at least when i get hired. the mystique of sudden attraction to someone and not knowing a goddamn thing about them is always so much fun. no expectations just something to look forward to before reality hits.
im trying not to blow it of proportion as i tend to do. but like im already locked in tight on a rollercoaster ride slowly being pulled up the inclining tracks before the drop off.

2022: itâs a wrap.
2022. Itâs been real. Too real. Not exactly how I thought it would unfold. But itâs the end of December and now we know.Â
THEY knew 2022 was THE year. Time was working against them because of Jinâs age. But shit happened in the world, in their country. Or I should say, shit DIDNâT happen that they perhaps expected or hoped.
There was no brand new BTS comeback album, but a compilation which was wonderful, rich and retrospective. Each of the members reflected on their âproofâ and why they chose the songs they did for the album.Â
They teased PROOF at the end of the last PTD concert in Las Vegas in April. They knew long before that how 2022 was gonna play out.
Even though they hinted at the end of 2021 that there might be a world tour, there was no new comeback album and no new world tour for it, but as it happened, they gave us a single, amazing one-off concert that was free to the entire world. Immediately it was fraught with controversy, negativity and disorganization. But they pulled it off spectacularly in grand BTS style. Bangtan Bangtanned.Â
The Festa dinner in June truly revealed their turmoil. It was a hard year for them and they worked and fought so hard to make it as good as possible for us. It was so heartbreaking to see them struggling to tell us they were committed to staying together but they needed to step away from the group in order to work on themselves as artists and to find out who they were as people.Â
We started getting their solo work in the form of Jack in the Box and Indigo and The Astronaut. The individual artistic growth is already amazing. We already see Joon resolving some of the internal conflicts he was facing this past summer. The more we see him during interviews the more he is smiling and looks happy. Itâs a big relief.
We will never know how truly heartbroken and frustrated they were this year. They may never reveal the reasons why they hinted at a world tour that never happened. And all the other bullshit they went through, especially Jimin and his privacy breach and how that may have influenced changes. I am so sorry and sad they felt they had to make the decisions they did but Jimin said they did EVERYTHING the best they could, ALWAYS keeping ARMY in their minds and hearts.
Their military service has been announced and is now underway. It has been a very emotional month for us and the members, seeing Jin off to begin his enlistment obligation.
Yes, we all hoped beyond hope there would be a military exemption. But they really set it up so we could process it little by little so that by October, when they made the announcement, we were ready to accept it even though we were still hoping they had an out somewhere.
As the announcement says:Â â...it is a promise, thereâs much more yet to come in the years ahead from BTS.â
Emotional rollercoaster for everyone is the best description of 2022.
We saw some changes as far as social media presence on their parts. As far as the guys are concerned, Twitter has mostly been abandoned for Instagram and Weverse. The Weverse platform had a total makeover this year.Â
Jimin, who used to be the king of Twitter selcas a few years ago, dropped off the face of the social media universe for a while and is now posting on Weverse more than he visits his Instagram account. Jungkook continued his very erratic usage, wiping his entire Instagram at one point, âjust because,â and starting over. He posted on Weverse for Jiminâs birthday, his first post there since July 2019 on that platform.
Hobi and Namjoon are our social media kings on Instagram now. Followed by Tae, Jin and Yoongi. Useless debate still rages TODAY on how significant their social media usage is, who they post pictures of, who they comment or like, what does it mean, if anything?
Now we look forward to 2023.Â
A New Years custom in South Korea is to watch the sunrise on New Yearâs day. Throngs of people go out in public places waiting for the sunrise.Â
It is an optimistic way of greeting the new set of twelve months. A fresh new year, a new sun, a new day. We need all the optimism we can gather. Take a deep breath. This is a kumbaya moment! (lol).
2023 will bring new thrills for us as we look forward to new solo music and appearances and content. New documentaries, new Run BTS! So many rumors flying about tv dramas and collaborations. There is a lot in store for them and us in 2023.
However, it will all be severely tempered with each new heartbreak watching each one of them finally take that big step and enter the military for their service (assuming they all go in 2023).
We will probably see less and less interactions on social media, of course especially after they all enter the military. We should expect nothing for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or when milestones are reached or awards achieved. We will have to get used to their silence on social.Â
All we can do is support them the best way we can. And stick together and try not to create too much negativity among us. When it gets overwhelming, just step away for a while, thereâs nothing wrong with that. Take time, think about why you love Jin, Yoongi, Hobi, Namjoon, Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung.
We already know we get to start off with a brand new episode of Run BTS!
ANYWAY! Happy new year to you all and I hope everyone gets to start it on their best note. So bring it on 2023! FIGHTING!
#pep talk!#BTS fighting! ARMY fighting!#2022 wasn't quite 2020 too#but close#2022 don't let the door hit you in the ass when you leave#2023 i already know you're gonna be a motherfucker#jin will be back in 2024#2025 will be the year of BTS#its not that far off#the pandemic started 3 years ago#in 2025 i will be army for almost 6 years#maybe jimin will send us a new years message#last year he drunk texted us at 5 a.m.

Sims 4 Fontenot Legacy - The End Calls for New Beginnings
The following day, Sabrina has a busy day at the restaurant. Running a business is not for the faint of heart, and there's a lot to consider, but generally, all seems to be going well. They're making a profit, albeit still a small one, but their customers are satisfied with the food and service. Sabrina is constantly thinking about ways to enhance the service and food quality, perhaps if they invest in a different vendor for their spices-
Juno: Surprise!
Oh, just then, as some of the last customers finish up for the day, Scarlett and little Juno make an appearance!
Sabrina: Oh, well look who it is! Hey there Junebug!
Juno: Hi, Bibi! Grandma brought me for our special photo!
Sabrina: I can see that! You're wearing the outfit I picked out for this special occasion! Looking snazzy, by the way.
Juno: Oh, this old thing?
The two laugh and are so caught up in their own banter that they don't even notice Scarlett make her way over.
Scarlett: Well, good to see everyone thought about me in this conversation.
Sabrina immediately pulls their mom in for a hug.
Sabrina: Aww, don't be like, Mom. It's good to see you too.
Scarlett: I'm just teasing. This moment is about the two of you. It's a big day in an ongoing tradition!
Juno: So are we gonna take the picture now?
Sabrina: I'm ready if you are!
Juno: Oh, I was born ready. Let's do this.
Both Scarlett and Sabrina laugh at this.
Sabrina: All right champ. Time for your closeup.
After the picture is taken, Grandma Scarlett directs Juno to the play area to keep himself occupied and sits Sabrina down for a chat. Sabrina is a little surprised by this move, but seeing the calm seriousness on their mother's face tells them that they should just comply. They're not sure how to feel-- scared? Worried?
Scarlett: Firstly, relax. I can see the nervousness on your face.
Classic Scarlett. She knows her kid so well.
Sabrina: Dang, Mom. You didn't have to read me so well for once.
Scarlett: Hey, what can I say? I know that look you get on your face. Anyway, there's no need to panic. I just wanted to chit-chat with you about something.
Sabrina: Well, that doesn't exactly put me at ease. Spill.
Scarlett: Well... now that Juno and the twins are bigger kids now, things are shifting. They don't need as much help, nor do you, Robin, and Sigrid. You guys have started successful careers and businesses with potentially more things to come.
Sabrina: Mom, just say it. Whatever it is.
Scarlett sighs, but there's a resigned smile on her face.
Scarlett: I think it's finally time for me to move on. Leave the Legacy House to you guys.
Sabrina: You're... moving out?
Scarlett: Well, not tomorrow, but yes. Eventually. It's been something I've been thinking about for some time.
Sabrina: But... you're going to have your elder birthday soon! Don't you want some assistance as you get older?
Scarlett: I've taken plenty good care of myself. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, and I doubt reaching elderhood will have such adverse effects that I can't live on my own.
Sabrina: But, you'll miss Juno's milestones! When he learns to ride his bike! First sleepover! First loose tooth!
Scarlett: You'll both just have to tell me all about it. I'm sure I'll be around for at least some of them.
Sabrina: What about the house? Upkeeping that big house all by ourselves?
Scarlett: I've taught you and Robin well, and Sigrid is also a great homemaker. You'll be fine.
Sabrina: But-
Scarlett: Sabrina. I'm moving out. That's that.
Sabrina sighs.
Scarlett: My life has been a rollercoaster. I lost my mother when I was a little girl, lost my father as a teenager, lost my sister in young adulthood, and worked tirelessly with her widower to raise Anya, Robin, and you until he died. I watched Anya build her own family and move away, Robin find true love and build a family with Sigrid, and witnessed the birth of my own grandchild. I've helped you, Robin, and Sigrid raise three children close in age, and now they have grown more independent and wonderful. I've juggled a variety of jobs, finished college, achieved fame and success in multiple fields, and, most importantly, raised a pretty great sim. I'm proud of my accomplishments, and I'm ready to live quietly.
Sabrina: Softening the blow by trying to butter me up, huh?
Scarlett: Hey if it works! No, but seriously Sabrina, I know what this is. You're scared.
Sabrina: Scared? Why would I be scared?
Scarlett: Because I've always been here. Always able to bail you out. If I leave, things will change. You'll be on your own in a way you've never been before. You'll still have Robin and Sigrid, yes, and Marquise will still be a great co-parent as well as Juno's other male figures stepping up in his life, but at the very core... you'll be all alone with him. It was the same setup for me.
Sabrina: Mom, come on, that was very different.
Scarlett: Well, I did have my sister Kira for a brief amount of time, and Armani through it all, but he was busy caring for Robin and Anya most of the time. Especially Anya at that time, because she was going through her own rebellious stage and dealing with being pregnant with Colt. You were solely my responsibility, and I didn't rely on him to care for you much. I chose to have you and I accepted that responsibility. Now... it's your turn to do the same.
Sabrina: But, Mom...
Scarlett: Sabrina. I love you very much. I love little Juno very much. My entire life, I've been caring for someone in some capacity. First, it was my little sister, then her children, then you, then Juno and the twins. It's time for me to care for myself.
Sabrina wants to object further, stating how much Juno will miss having Grandma at home and how the girls will ask where Auntie Scarlett is. They want to insist that juggling a restaurant and then having to raise a kid and upkeep such a large house will be difficult without her. But soon enough, they realize all these points are selfish, and do not consider what Scarlett wants or needs. Sabrina sighs.
Sabrina: Well... I guess we better start house hunting, huh?
Scarlett's heart nearly bursts with love and pride at that very moment.
Scarlett: So you'll help me?
Sabrina: Well I'm not going to let my mom live in a dump! Consider it done.
Scarlett: I don't need a lot of space. Just enough for me and some space for the kids to play outside when they come to visit. I'm sure we can find something to accommodate that in no time.
Sabrina: We definitely will, with my help.
Scarlett: Thanks, sweetheart. I knew I could count on you. And you'll be fine. Trust me. I'll still be here whenever you need me.
Sabrina: I know. Thanks, Mom.
Scarlett: You're welcome.

Understanding How Cryptocurrency Trading Signals Work
Cryptocurrency trading is like a wild rollercoaster ride. Prices can shoot up or plummet in no time, leaving traders feeling lost and unsure about what to do. That's where trading signals come in. These signals are like helpful tips based on studying the market closely. They give traders advice on when to buy or sell cryptocurrency trading on cryptocurrency signals so they can make smart decisions and hopefully make some money.
Exploring the Different Types of Trading Signals
signals come in different flavors, customized to how different people like to trade. Here are the main types:
1] Technical Analysis Signals: These signals use fancy math and past price data to guess where prices might go next. They look at things like patterns on charts and indicators like moving averages or RSI to find trading chances.
2] Fundamental Analysis Signals: These signals look at the real value of a cryptocurrency, considering factors such as the technology behind it, its adoption rate, the expertise of its development team, and the current demand for it. They care more about what's under the hood than just the current prices of cryptocurrency.
3] Sentiment Analysis Signals: These signals check what people are saying on social media, news, and forums about cryptocurrency trading signals. By understanding how people feel, traders can get an idea of where prices might go, even if they're not looking at the current prices of cryptocurrency.
4] Hybrid Signals: Some signals mix it up, using both technical and fundamental analysis. This gives traders a wider view of what's happening in the market, hopefully helping them make better decisions.
The Benefits of Trading Signals
Using trading signals can help traders in many ways:
1] Making More Money: Following these signals, which are based on careful research, can increase the chances of making profitable trades and getting more money from investments.
2] Reducing Risks: Signals give insights into possible risks and where the market might be heading. This helps traders manage their risks better and avoid losing too much money.
3] Saving Time: Traders don't have to spend as much time analyzing the market because signals have already done that work for them. They can focus on actually making trades and managing their investments.
4] Learning: New traders can learn a lot from signals. They get to see how experts analyze the market and can pick up useful tips for their trading. Over time, they become better traders themselves.
Choosing the Right Trading Signal Provider
When picking a signal provider, it's important to think about a few things to make sure you're getting the right one:
1] Reputation and Trustworthiness: Look for providers that have a good reputation for being reliable and honest in trading on cryptocurrency. Check their track record to see if they've consistently given out accurate signals.
2] Accuracy: Check how often their signals have been right in the past in trading on cryptocurrency trading signals. You want signals that are good at predicting where prices will go.
3] Transparency: Make sure the provider is clear about how they come up with their signals and how well they've done in the past. You should be able to easily see how accurate their signals have been.
4] Cost: Think about how much it costs to use their service and whether it fits your budget. Make sure the price is worth it for the quality of signals you're getting.
Maximizing the Effectiveness of Cryptocurrency Trading Signals
To get the most out of signals, here are some easy tips to follow:
1] Know What's Going On: Keep up with what's happening in the market. Understand trends and how prices are changing so you can make smart decisions.
2] Use Signals Smartly: Think of signals as helpful tools, not the only thing you rely on. Do your research too, and use signals to confirm your ideas.
3] Get Signals from Different Places: Don't rely on just one signal provider. Subscribe to a few different ones to get different perspectives and make your decisions more reliable.
4] Stay Flexible: Keep an eye on what's happening and be ready to change your strategies. Markets can shift quickly, so be ready to adjust your plans accordingly.
Understanding the Risks Associated with Signals
While using cryptocurrency trading signals has its advantages, it's important to know the risks too:
1] Depending Too Much on Signals: If you rely too heavily on signals without really understanding how the market works, you might end up making bad decisions and losing money.
2] Getting Bad Signals: Sometimes, signals can be wrong or misleading. If you don't check them carefully, you could end up losing money. It's crucial to do your homework and make sure the signals are trustworthy.
3] Risk of Market Manipulation: Sometimes, people might give out false signals to trick traders into making certain trades. This could lead to losses if you're not careful. So, it's important to be cautious and not blindly follow every signal you see.
Exploring the Future of Trading Signals
The future of signals is set to see big changes, thanks to technology and rules getting better. Here are some important things to watch out for:
1] Smarter Signals with AI: As technology gets better, signals will become more accurate and helpful. Artificial intelligence and machine learning will help generate signals that give traders better insights, helping them make smarter decisions.
2] Trading Bots Working with Signals: Signals will work hand-in-hand with automated trading bots. This means trades can happen automatically based on signal recommendations. It'll make trading faster and easier, with less manual work.
3] Rules Getting Clearer: As the trading on cryptocurrency signals market grows, there will be more rules for signal providers. This will make sure they're transparent and accountable for the signals they give out, giving traders more confidence in using them.
FAQs
1. Are trading signals always accurate?
Ans : While signals can provide valuable insights, they are not infallible. Traders should exercise diligence and verify signals before acting on them.
2. Can I rely solely on signals for trading decisions?

3. How often should I review my trading strategy based on signals?
Ans : Traders should regularly review and adjust their trading strategies based on the latest market developments and signal performance.
4. Are there free signal providers available?
Ans : Yes, some providers offer free cryptocurrency trading signals, but they may not always be as reliable or accurate as paid services.
5. What precautions should I take when using signals?
Ans : Traders should verify the credibility of signal providers, diversify signal sources, and be cautious of blindly following signals without understanding the underlying market conditions.

Hey Foodies! This is my first update on my African food venture here in Canada, so let's catch up! đ¨đŚâ¨
What's Working?
I'm thrilled to share that our flavors are hitting the right notes with our customers! Our fusion of traditional African recipes with a modern twist seems to be resonating well. The feedback on our jollof rice, spicysuya skewers, and plantain dishes has been overwhelmingly positive. đđ˘đ Furthermore, our social media presence is gaining traction, attracting more food enthusiasts to my local meals.
What's Not Working?
One major hurdle we're facing is sourcing authentic ingredients consistently. While we've established reliable suppliers, there are occasional shortages or delays, which can disrupt our menu offerings. Additionally, balancing the demand during peak hours while maintaining quality and efficiency in service remains a challenge we're actively addressing.
Project Progress and Feelings
Overall, I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come. Seeing our dream of bringing African flavors to the Canadian palate come to life is immensely fulfilling. However, there's still a long road ahead. As we expand our reach and fine-tune operations, I'm feeling both excited and apprehensive about the journey ahead. But hey, isn't that what makes it all worthwhile?
Learning About Running a Business
Running a business is a rollercoaster of emotions and learning experiences. From managing finances to marketing strategies and team dynamics, every day brings a new lesson. One key takeaway has been the importance of adaptability and resilience. Flexibility in the face of challenges and the ability to pivot when necessary have been instrumental in navigating the unpredictable landscape of entrepreneurship.
Learning About Myself
This journey has taught me more about myself than I could have imagined. I've discovered strengths I didn't know I had and areas for growth that I'm actively working on. Patience, perseverance, and passion are the driving forces behind this venture, and they continue to shape me into a better leader and innovator.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us on this incredible journey. Your enthusiasm fuels our fire, and we can't wait to continue sharing the vibrant flavors of Africa with you all. Stay tuned for more delicious updates! Until next time, stay spicy! đĽđ´
cheers

Some Jewls of Customer Service
For my first blog, I thought, why not start with the part of my life that takes up most of the space â customer service. It's an experience that leaves plenty of trauma to joke about later.
Quick disclaimer, not every person embodying the things I'm about to mention is miserable and in need of therapy (well, maybe most of them are).
So, here's the deal â I'm a barista at a coffee shop, and I know many of you are currently nodding in shared war flashbacks. Strength to us all!
First on the hit list are the Olympic champions of non-greetings. A sport where all my anger issues resonate. I think their parents misplaced the "Greetings for Dummies" guide when they were kids. Now, I know you might expect me to say, "Be professional, greet them with a smile!" No. Not in these situations. I push aside my delightful upbringing; if you can't say a simple "good morning," don't expect sunshine from me.
Next up, the speedsters. I get it, you're in a full-blown sprint because your alarm lost the battle against your snoring. But don't think you can weave through the line or guilt-trip me into warp-speed service. Prioritize whatever's waiting for you first and then get your morning cup. Others have places to be too.
And the water-bottle warriors, newsflash: H2O doesn't grant VIP privileges. You're not the Minister. Pulling the "I just want water" stunt doesn't make you the protagonist of this coffee shop saga. You're just at the back of the line, like the rest of us mere mortals.
Now, let's talk about mothers. Mothers and seniors, the dynamic duo turning a calm day into a caffeine-fueled rollercoaster. Just because you decided to start a tiny human factory doesn't mean the entire coffee shop becomes your royal court.
Irrational commands? No, I won't transform into a baby pacifier sterilization wizard. I'm a barista, not a parental panic room.
Now, the mess aftermath â oh boy. When you stand up, it's like a trash tornado just whipped through. So, to all mothers, coffee shops aren't daycare centers. Pack some extra magic in that diaper bag.
Alright, let's talk about the judgmental gaze brigade â folks who think customer service isn't a noble pursuit. However, they fail to grasp that it's the unofficial anthem of broke university students navigating student loans and instant noodles.
Now, the seniors. Not all are like this, but some take us on a trip down memory lane to a coffee era we thought was left in the past. The classic 'cappuccino without foam' scenario turns into a not-so-friendly debate about coffee terms.
Dear seniors, if the coffee lingo is hazy, let's skip the debate. No need for me to unleash my sass on your coffee preferences.

Cheshvan is an empty month. A blank slate. An open expanse. It is the only month which contains no Jewish holidays (aside from Shabbat) and no special mitzvot. Some people have the custom of calling this month Mar-Cheshvan, "Bitter Cheshvan," because after so many weeks of feeling ourselves to be in God's presence, we enter into a whole month with no festival opportunities to feel that closeness.
Some rabbis (me included) joke that Mar-Cheshvan is short for "Marvelous Cheshvan," and that Cheshvan is our favorite month precisely because there is nothing in it. After the hard work and the emotional-spiritual rollercoaster of the Days of Awe and Sukkot, a month containing nothing but weekdays and Shabbat feels like a gift. A time to embrace emptiness and quiet. Thank God for Cheshvan; I can't keep up this work-pace anymore!
But I think there's a deeper truth hidden in the "I ⼠Cheshvan" jokes. Our festival cycle has a rhythm, a natural ebb and flow. Times of extroversion and times of introversion; times of intense spiritual work and times of quiet when the aftereffects of that work can reverberate in our hearts and souls. After the spring journey of Pesach and the Omer, we get a quiet period before the summer's fasts and Tisha b'Av and the ramp-up to the Days of Awe. After the fall journey of the Days of Awe and Sukkot, we get a quiet period before the small holidays which stud the wintertime lead us toward spring and Pesach.
(These are northern-hemisphere interpretations; if you live in the global South, the seasonal rhythm is inverted, but the holidays still lead one to the next, and the spiritually-fallow periods are still built-in.)
The quiet time matters too. It's like the silence after the chant, writ large. When a long-anticipated event is over, there can be a let-down. All that time preparing and getting excited, and now it's over; now what? But Cheshvan offers the opportunity to experience the quiet time after the feasts and festivals as a necessary part of the rhythm.
Reb Zalman (may his memory be a blessing) used to speak about the importance of "domesticating" the peak experience -- taking the spiritual highs we can experience on retreat, and using their energy to fuel spiritual practice when we're home again. Coming down from the big fall holiday season is a little bit like coming home from a retreat. We return our focus to all the details of ordinary life. But that doesn't mean that we're no longer in the radiant Presence. We just have to remember how to access that Presence through ordinary living. Avodah b'gashmiut, in Hasidic parlance.
We couldn't live at the intense pace of the Days of Awe and Sukkot all the time. From the practical work of preparing services and sermons and setting up chairs and building sukkahs, to the intellectual work of studying the holidays' texts and liturgies and themes, to the emotional work of noticing what arises in us during the holiday season, to the spiritual work of teshuvah and inner transformation -- there's no way to sustain that level of activity and experience all the time. And that's okay.
The downtime helps us integrate the experience we've just had. Try this metaphor on: the quiet month which comes after all of the festivals is like the morning after a grand and elaborate wedding. The planning and preparation all culminated in a beautiful ceremony and a fabulous party -- and now it's the next day; the first day of the rest of the couple's life; time to integrate the memories and carry them into whatever comes next. Tishri was the wedding. Now it's the morning-after.
The party is finally over. The last guests have gone home. Awaken to your quiet house, a sweet sunrise, coffee filling the room with fragrance. Cup your hands around your mug and look around you. Something new is beginning, right here in this quiet place. Welcome to Cheshvan.
