iJewels, For the Gem of Your Eye, returned to #curlewiswinery on the spur of the moment last weekend. If you’re looking for somewhere to go on a dreary cold and wet Saturday afternoon we highly recommend the small and beautiful Curlewis Winery at 55 Navarre Road, Curlewis, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Warm yourself in the cellar door with the blazing fire, a wine tasting and some delicious food. Whilst they are known for their Pinot Noir, the Pinot Noir vines are amongst the oldest on the Bellarine Peninsula, they make a fabulous Syrah and the very unique Charneis, a blend of Chardonnay and Arneis, an Italian varietal. Stefano and Leesa have a unique wine tasting of 6 wines in test tubes. Lovely food including beautiful olives and yummy small pizzas, platters and bao buns and other nibbles. Best to make a booking especially if you want to get close to that fire! Whilst I’ve featured a couple of bangles for the Ladies don’t forget that iJewels also does bespoke Men’s jewellery.
