Glitch Kisses

Okay, glitch kisses.

Neither Error nor Blue really have had much... romantic interaction--glitch's pain and haphephobia and all--so when they do finally get comfortable enough with another person, they kind of only know what they've seen on TV which won't work because they don't have lips, only bone.

What they do know is that usually, tongues are involved somehow.

Hence why the first time Nightmare agrees to let one of them kiss him, he is sincerely confused when a set of five tentacle tongues flick over his face.

They do the snake's tongue flick with their tongues over his teeth and he very sincerely perplexed.

Nightmare: Surely... Surely this is a glitch thing. Error: Are we doing this right? Blue: Well he isn't mad! I say we go for it.

Blue: You... You taste really good, Nightmare. Nightmare: ... Thank you? Error: He tastes sweet and floral. Blue: Mhm. I like it. Nightmare: ... I'm just gonna take it as a compliment.

Of course, Nightmare has his own weird habits such as his blooming season (a story for another time), so he just assumes this is a glitch custom that he didn't know about and goes along with it.

No one says anything until Geno does.

Blue: Morning, Nighty. *licks face* Nightmare: Morning, Blue. Error: I want some. *licks face* Geno: across the table ... What the hell are you two doing? Nightmare: Wait, is this not normal? Geno: ... Noooooo? Why would this be a thing? Nightmare: I don't know, there are cultural differences between me and normal skeletons, why not glitches? Geno is unfortunately the only other glitch that they talk to on a regular basis and he only has one tongue, so he certainly does not do this. He's the only one in the Glitch-Parasite family that doesn't have the extra tongues.

This gets even worse when Dream finds out.

Dream: Are you... LICKING my brother?! Blue! Blue: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO KISS AND ERROR DID IT FIRST AND NIGHTMARE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING SO I JUST WENT WITH IT! Dream: Error! Thus Ink became envious of the glitches for their tongues, and Error and Starberror/Blueberry learned that licking people is only okay if you love them.

Episode 7 predictions since it’s 2024

1. N and Uzi kiss scene

This one’s pretty simple, I really want to see them kiss, you want to see them kiss, everyone wants to see them kiss

2. Nori and Yeva flashback scene

I really do think that teaser that Glitch posted is a flashback with Nori and Yeva trying to find the cure too, it would make sense for them too especially with their connection to the Absolute Solver and the camp

The theories are nice but I don’t think that Nori and Yeva would just show up out of the blue randomly especially when they’re supposed to be dead, it made sort of sense with Doll but doesn’t make sense with those two cause why the hell did it take that long to come back, just seems like a flashback to me, also this would be good for some content on what not only were they like but also hopefully mention of Khan and Uzi from Nori’s mouth cause we still have no idea if Nori is even a good guy

3. Separation

It seems like from the trailer that N, Uzi and Tessa are going to be seperated. This would be good for some good sweet character development and how they handle things alone, Tessa might be looking at the dorms? Lockers? Idk what they are but of the patients especially Nori’s and hers might have something deeply puzzling Tessa because she full on slammed the door lol

4. Nuzi confession scene

Should’ve probably put this in first but I’m HOPING that N and Uzi confess their feelings, especially with the fact that they might die I’d be happy if they at least confessed before Episode 8 (the last episode) so we can see them being happy with each other before the angst

I know girlie is really suspicious at the moment and I absolutely despise her for the whole kill Uzi thing but I actually really like Tessa she’s so quirky and so unaware of things it’s kinda funny

I hope they make more keychains and stickers too, posters would be nice as well or even mats. Just some new pieces of merch instead of plushies, pins and Animatez (as much as I love them, I do hope that’s not all of it)

My New Concept!

Hi my lovilies!! It's Rena! Or Sylvia, which my new magical girl name. But anyway, I finished my new concept, so today I'm going to inform you on what I created! The concept is a pmm x precure x cardcaptor sakura x pokemon-ish? I don't know it's based off multiple fandoms so it's kind of complicated!

I am a nekomancer, a magical girl who fights cat-themed nightmares, tames them, and train the monsters to fight on the good side, kind of like doppelwork in pmm.

To do this, you must find the labrinyth where the nightmare subsides. Usually, your fimilliar will teleport you to there, but you can find one by the glow of your transformation item. Just like pmm witches, the give off sigils (theyre really called the "face" of the labrinyth, but you can consider it a sigil.) The face of the labrinyth is the literal face of the nightmare when it was alive. The face gets easier and easier to envision as you get closer to it. You can enter a labrinyth by looking for a shifting or misplaced wall/ piece of concrete near the area, then walking through it and glitching to the labyrinth.

Next, you must fight the nightmare and collect it's soul gem, which contains it's power and it's soul. Nighmares are just possessed versions of cat souls, so they're not that powerful, unless multiple nightmares merge together and fight. In this case, you would get more than 1 soul gem. Your familiar, who works with you in the physical, will travel to the astral and place it in your "inventory", if that makes sense. Once it's in your inventory, you can summon them to the physical to help you in battle.

The more soul gems you collect, the more powerful you become. Once you get all 12 elements (water, fire, earth, air, electricity, light, dark, etc.) you can unlock your ultra form. It is 15x powerful than your regular mg form, so it's great to awaken in in battle.

All nightmares are controlled by the Shiba Force, an evil, dog-obsessed force who are determined to make cats suffer (yes i love cats so much that I made it the center of my concept.) They feed on the life of cats and use they're souls as their minions to corrupt Earth.

However, not all cat souls are corrupted, and that's where my familiar comes from.

All cats who don't qualify for heaven's rules must be recarnated at the CRS- Cat Recranation System- in the astral realm.

Once they are recarnated and dropped off to their desired future magical girl, they must set to work on saving the Earth.

My familiar is a male white cat with blue eyes and has a blue teardrop gem on his forehead. Once I contract, I get the same mark somewhere on my body (chest for me!) and officially become a magical girl.

My magical girl outfit looks exactly like sayaka's except I have a skirt with ruffles, a blue version of Cure Happy's boots, and wings (i can fly!) I also use the same weapons and have healing abilities.

Since I resprent water in my group, Magica Quinet, I can control water/ice and make minions, turn everyday items into minions, make shields, weapons, and start mini-natrual disasters associated with water.

Last but not least, my transformation item is a ring, a blue cat ring with wings.

Tiffany's Fancuries For Your Consideration

Hey there folks! This is actually the fourth Fancuries that I'll be participating in, and my second "For Your Consideration" post that I've made during my time as not just a pretty cure fanseries creator but as a pretty cure fan.

Over the past couple of years, my cures and by extension fanseries tend to change a LOT, I have been trying to experiment with Kisekae and my drawn art more and I am planning on getting back into writing fanfiction and my fanseries (In fact I'm currently writing episode one of the main fanseries I'll be talking about in this very post)

Deep within the reaches of cyberspace, there is a secret world known simply as Arcadia, a place where all video game characters around can travel to their own games freely. However, the land of Arcadia was soon under attack by the villainous "Dark Network" and their army of monstrous glitches wanting to take over their world. However, a sneaky and speedy rabbit named Riki and a fairy named Aruna end up making their way to the human world and end up running into a girl named Mariko Asoda, but with Riki and Aruna on the run from the Baguras, Riki hands Mariko a Pixel Curesette and she then transforms into the heroine of exciting Action, Cure Action! Filled with determination to save the gaming world of Arcadia as well as her own, Cure Action's truly wild adventure is about to begin. Now! Pretty Cure Game Start!

The main themes of this series deal with stuff like technology, cyberspace, and reality and fiction, while motifs include stuff like video games, pixels, and 90's aesthetics. I plan on releasing this fanseries on a few fanfic sites (AO3, Quotev, even Wattpad) and I do have a wiki for it, if you are wondering about what I used to make the cures and other characters, it's Kisekae a pretty well-known dollmaker software (It can be pretty NSFW though just keep that in mind, though there is an SFW version if I remember correctly), though two characters have been made with picrew, but enough about that let's get into...

Mariko Asoda / Cure Action (Pink)

A fourteen-year-old student council member with a soft spot for video games, a big daydreamer, and a selfless escapist who just wants to help people like the video game heroes she loves, but has a big sense of righteousness about her, loves to over indulge in her hobbies and always expects gratitude from others. Has a bit of a habit of saying "Level Up!". Becoming Cure Action, she is themed after action games and platformers and has fire powers.

Kayla Coleman / Cure Puzzle (Green)

A fifteen-year-old foreign exchange student originally from Brooklyn, New York, and despite her quiet disposition she is very much a crafty inventor type who has a love for crafting new ideas, despite that confident mask she wears, she is a massive introvert with some slight confidence issues, with a love for sarcasm and darker topics and just wants to be accepted and loved by others for the games she creates and codes. When she becomes Cure Puzzle, she gains the powers of the earth via stones and tetrominoes, and is themed after puzzle games.

Nene Kanemitsu / Cure Song (Yellow)

The daughter of the creator of the famous game mascot Riki the Rabbit, Nene is well-known as a passionate and competitive professional gamer who is a regular at the Skyblue arcade center, especially when it comes to rhythm games. Nene essentially acts as the mood maker of the group, going through life with a rather positive and takes life and everyday situations through good humor and optimism, but has a big obsession with idols and isn't afraid to talk about her hyper fixations for a long time, can be a bit careless, short-tempered, boisterous, and is not good with money at all. As Cure Song, she is themed after Rhythm Games and has the power of sound.

Aruna / Aru Yuushi / Cure Hero (Blue)

Originally known as the fairy priestess Aruna, a character that originated from the video game RPG Valianta Quest X, she made her home in the Pixel Pocket (Basically the transformation items of the season) after she was saved by Riki, who always wanted to become a knight out of the want to truly help out her kingdom, she eventually transformed into a human via learning a spell. A very defensive girl with a hard shell and tries to convey a heroic and yet cool image, but is a way more sensitive person underneath it all. As Cure Hero, she is themed after Adventure games and RPG's, and wields the power of light via the Bravery Sword, instead of the Virtual Sticks the cures normally use.

Riki

The protagonist of a popular platformer game series that Mariko is a big fan of. Riki can move at super fast speeds and pick things up with his ears, who is adventurous, lively, and a bit of an adrenaline junkie.

Princess Dahlia

The fair and sweet ruler of the Bloomfield kingdom, and despite her dainty and cutesy appearance, she is actually the leader of the resistance fighting against the “Dark Network” in Arcadia, in which she comes from the popular puzzle game “Puzzle De Puyo”.

Fumio Kanemitsu

Nene’s father and the man who created Riki the Rabbit, and currently works as a programmer for the video game company Kurotaki, moody, fickle, changeable, and obviously weirded out by the fact his creation is real, he ends up becoming a big ally to the team, mainly due to his knowledge about programming.

The Dark Network Fuguerror A mysterious glitchy being hidden within dark depths of cyberspace, he is a cruel, cunning, and yet oddly playful being, and is the one the Dark Network are trying to essentially complete, and summon him mainly via collecting Digi Data.

Belladonna

Leader of the generals and the one who founded the Dark Network group in the first place after discovering Fuguerror, a rather seductive and devious enchantress who is known for her self centered-ness, her love of making her presence known, and getting a kick out of seeing people enraged and essentially teasing her enemies, she's also known for her love of making very odd smelling (And toxic!) "perfume". Belladonna comes from the medieval beat em up game "Radira Fight Knights"

Doctor Serpentine

Riki the Rabbit's number one adversary and a rather dastardly mad scientist taking the form of a snake, he mostly tries to take down foes with the many robotic suits he builds, and he loves flaunting his intelligence skill in robotics, despite his aggressive way of speaking to others. Nikto

A rather cunning if rather short wizard. Nikto acts as a mediator between the villainous group and tends to try and take Belladonna down the peg a little, he's also very skilled at magic, especially when it comes to illusions and trickery which he often tries to take advantage of to his own benefits, and really doesn't like it when people make fun of his height. He is the main villain of the famous RPG "Valianta Quest V". Adalram

A Mysterious Swordsman with a wide set of tools, and a man who is a rather flirty soul who likes to use his wit and charm to recruit other villains to Dark Network's cause, but he is dedicated to protecting the other members, namely Miss Belladonna. He comes from the popular adventure game series "Secret Sword".

I haven't made a logo for the fanseries yet and I don't have a lot of designs for it (Only the cures have been designed so far), so please bear with me.

For nineteen generations, the Kaminarimon school of ninjas have been protecting both Earth and the Celestial Plains from the Kagemashu Army of yokai, creatures who emerge from the shadowy depths of the underworld to cause fear and terror to those around them. But when it seemed that the nineteenth generation of ninja had finally sealed Nurarihyon and his army for good, one yokai ended up breaking the seal years later with the Kagemashu beginning their attacks again, with the current head of the Kaminarimon household Shosuke, and his daughter Tomoe beginning a plan to recruit some new legendary ninja to combat the new threat. And when a compassionate middle school girl named Shinobu Fuuno ends up stumbling upon a scroll hidden within the back of a shrine near the Kaminarimon household, and she ends up summoning five friendly spirits but ends up running into Nopperabo and the Kagemashu’s deadly monsters the Maganoke, however with the help of the Doron Commune she transforms into the legendary ninja of the wind, Cure Shippu! Protecting the Earth from evil, hiding deep within the shadows, now change! Precure let’s ninja GO!

Shinobu Fuuno / Cure Shippu (Pink)

An airy girl with a love for Japanese Traditions as well as Samurai and Ninja Dramas (with her father being an actor in these drama’s himself in the past), she prefers not standing out among her classmates though can't help but run her mouth when she feels like it, but wants to find out what happened to her mother. Has the habit of saying “Feel the wind!” and as Cure Shippu, she wields the power of the wind.

Kozue Kobayashi / Cure Shinrin (Green)

A sensible, tall, reliable, and yet traditional girl akin to a Yamato Nadeshiko, Kozue is good at giving advice to others and is a geisha in training aside from her pretty cure duties and has a love for familiarity and making wagashi…However, she is a massive party animal and is terrible with technology, and such her fellow piers at her geisha training look down upon her because of it, and as Cure Shinrin, she wields the power of wood.

Hiyori Hinomiya / Cure Rekka (Red)

A Shrine Maiden working at a local shrine with a bit of a hot-blooded and passionate flair, she is skilled at archery and is very action-oriented, and can be a bit prideful and impulsive despite her being a bit responsible and mature. Is a bit jealous of Shinobu being the leader and has a habit of setting high standards for herself, mainly due to the fact she was chosen because her sister (Who was going to become a cure) had fallen ill at the time, and as Cure Rekka, she wields the power of fire.

Fujiko Takayama / Cure Gunzan (Blue)

A very emotional yet secretive and sensitive girl who is rather knowledgeable though with a bit of a hard shell, but can have her moments where she can get more than a bit dramatic, mainly because of her theater-loving background and has a soft spot for folklore, especially spirits, and yokai, and as Cure Gunzan she wields the power of the earth.

Tomoe Kaminarimon / Cure Raitei (Yellow)

The future head of the Kaminarimon household and a woman who acts as the mentor to the cures, and while she does have a rather cold and strict exterior, she actually has a rather adventurous and even unpredictable and spontaneous side to her, akin to that of lightning, which she wields as Cure Raitei.

Unfortunately, I only have basic ideas for the other characters currently. I'm planning on the mascots essentially being small spirit gods from the Celestial Plains which are ruled by the big good Amaterasu (Yes, the Shinto Sun Goddess herself). The villains I do have more ideas for, with them basically being a sort of criminal organization of Yokai with each general being based on one (The Nine-Tailed Fox, Tengu, Oni, etc.) with the big bad being Nurarihyon. But Aside from the cures I haven't designed em. ~~~ And that's all I have been mainly working on so far in terms of Fanseries, really hope you all have enjoyed reading this post, as much as I had fun making it.

Part Two Of They Missed Some Stuff

Now I know that the crew usually switches between different colors once in awhile through the pilot, but it is usually a different shade of blue, not a different color all entirely, and I doubt this is a error due to the hard work put into this pilot. Instead, I think this is intentional.

Let me provide you with a theory to chew on. What if Pomni can't abstract? Now I know that Pomni can go crazy and of the rails as seen in the Backrooms part of the pilot, and in real sense, this could not happen because itsa psychological horror, but this is a literal game that pulls people in and literally wipes their memories, do you expect it to be literal? I'm me over saying that well, she can maybe cure abstraction. Don't believe me? Well look here.

In the first scene where Pomni is talking to Ragatha after she got abstracted, her hand stays glitchy until a moment after Pomni shows Ragatha her hand and the camera goes back to her, her hands stops glitching momentarily for a a few seconds, before going back to glitching after ragatha talks again.

Pairing: Halsin x Vaela (my tiefling barbarian Tav)

Summary: Halsin and Vaela reflect on the life they’ve built together as they settle down for the night

Author’s note: I wrote this a while back when I was being plagued with glitches and bugs while romancing Halsin. Once such bug had my Tav arriving to the reunion alone even though she was with Halsin. These devastating (and numerous) set backs were only slightly remedied through fanfics. You’ll notice I took some lines directly from the epilogue and transplanted them here. Again, this was to console myself while I was mentally preparing myself to replay all of Act 3 in the hopes I would finally get my ideal ending. Hope you all enjoy.

Another Summer day had come and gone and Vaela longed for nothing more than to be with her love, Halsin…

Vaela’s gaze drifted toward the open window of their shared treehouse, where the last traces of a soft pink and orange sunset melted into that of a twilight blue. Beyond the windowpane, the melodic trill of nightingales serenaded the land, weaving a tranquil melody that whispered of slumber. The bedroom, adorned with furnishings crafted by Halsin's skilled hands and embellished with Vaela's meticulous touch, exuded warmth and rustic charm. Intricately carved wooden furniture, lovingly crafted by Halsin, stood as a testament to his craftsmanship, while Vaela's additions lent a personal flair to the space. Delicate tapestries, embroidered with scenes of nature's beauty, adorned the walls, infusing the room with color and life. A scattering of fragrant wildflowers, lovingly gathered by Vaela during her travels, graced the bedside table, their sweet scent filling the air with a sense of tranquility. Yet, despite the comfort of her surroundings, an undeniable emptiness lingered in the air, a palpable reminder of Halsin's absence.

Halsin's absence weighed heavily on Vaela's heart as she waited for his return from his tireless endeavors in the community they had built together. His unwavering dedication to their shared dream of harmony between nature and civilization was something Vaela deeply admired about Halsin, but it often left her longing for his presence. Tonight was no exception, and as the minutes stretched into hours, Vaela found herself yearning for the reassuring touch of his hand and the sound of his voice filling the silence of their sanctuary.

Vaela had already immersed herself in the ritual of preparation, relishing in the simple yet comforting routine that marked the transition from day to night. Her slender fingers deftly braided her auburn locks to one side, securing them with a delicate tie as she cast a glance towards the open window, where the moon cast its gentle glow upon their burgeoning community. Her attire, a flowing white nightgown that cascaded to her knees, offered a stark contrast to the fatigue that settled upon her muscled frame after a day of toiling in the fields and aiding in the construction of new homes for the refugees.

Physical exertion had always been Vaela's forte, a testament to the strength honed through years of barbarian upbringing. While she thrived in the throes of manual labor, she gladly left the intricacies of diplomacy and negotiation to Halsin, who navigated the complexities of leadership with a grace and finesse that never failed to impress her.

As she reminisced on their journey together, her thoughts drifted back to their initial encounter in the depths of the goblin camp near the Emerald Grove. It was there that she had first laid eyes on Halsin, captured and condemned to a horrible fate at the hands of Absolute cultists. What had begun as a mission borne out of duty soon blossomed into a partnership forged in the crucible of adversity. With each passing day, Vaela found herself drawn to the arch druid's unwavering dedication to his cause, his loyalty to helping her find a cure to her affliction implanted in her brain by mindflayers, and his overall commitment to protecting those under his care — a stark contrast to the chaos and violence that had defined her own upbringing.

It was during their time in Baldur's Gate that the undercurrent of their bond shifted, as Halsin finally confessed his feelings for her beneath the veil of the moonlit sky. His words, laden with sincerity and emotion, had stirred something within Vaela's heart, a realization of the depth of her own affection for him. From that moment on, their paths had intertwined, their destinies irrevocably linked by the unspoken promise of a shared future.

Her reverie was interrupted by the soft sound of Halsin's footsteps as he entered the room, his weary countenance a witness to the trials of the day. Vaela's smile widened as he approached, his large arms enveloping her in a tender embrace that spoke volumes of the solace they found in each other's presence. As they held each other close, Vaela's gaze met Halsin's, finding within them a reflection of her own emotions, a silent reassurance of their unspoken bond.

"Welcome home," she murmured, her voice a soft melody that echoed in the quiet of the room.

Halsin managed a tired smile, his hazel eyes reflecting the fatigue that weighed upon him. "Thank you, my heart. It is good to be home, to be with you," Halsin replied, his voice tinged with gratitude as he crossed the room to join her.

"You look exhausted," she observed, her gaze softening with empathy as she reached out to gently brush a strand of hair from his brow.

Halsin offered a weary nod. "It has been a… challenging day," he admitted, his shoulders sagging with the weight of his responsibilities. "But seeing you here makes it all worth it."

Vaela's heart swelled with affection at his words, her fingers trailing lightly along his arm in a gesture of comfort. "You work too hard, my love," she murmured, her voice filled with gentle concern. "You need to take better care of yourself."

Halsin offered her a sheepish smile, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten in the warmth of her presence. "I will try," he promised, his voice tinged with determination as he leaned into her touch. "But for now, all I need is to be here with you."

In that fleeting moment, as their eyes met in silent understanding, desire stirred between them, an unspoken longing that begged to be sated. Without a word, they leaned into each other, their lips meeting in a fervent kiss that ignited a blaze of passion between them. Vaela's hand instinctively found its place at the nape of Halsin's neck, drawing him closer as his arms enveloped her in an ardent embrace.

For a timeless moment, they lost themselves in each other, their bodies pressed together in an embrace that spoke of a love that transcended words. It was only when the need for air became too pressing that they reluctantly pulled away, their breaths mingling in the space between them.

"Go, my love, and prepare for bed. I'll be waiting for you, here," Vaela whispered, her voice a soft murmur that hung in the air.

With a nod and a kiss to Vaela’s cheek, Halsin withdrew into the bath room.

The relief that flooded Halsin's chest at the sight of the stone bathtub was ineffable.

Amidst the countless moments of progress and hope borne from Halsin and Vaela’s shared endeavor to aid the less fortunate, there existed a yearning for respite alongside the woman who held his heart.

Dealing with the myriad of conflicting personalities within their ever-growing community was a familiar challenge for Halsin, yet the magnitude of it had grown exponentially since his days at the grove. Some days proved to be more taxing than others, and today had been particularly arduous.

The day commenced as it often did: a tender kiss and sweet-nothings shared with Vaela before he left her in the comfort of their treehouse for an early morning patrol of the surrounding areas in the guise of his formidable, ursine form. Along the trail, he sought solace in moments of quiet contemplation, though, on this morning, a dark cloud of unease lingered in his mind. Whispers of unseen threats and trials to overcome plagued his thoughts, a stark reminder of the lingering anxieties born from past traumas. Despite the idyllic nature of his current existence, the specter of past hardships loomed large, threatening to extinguish the fragile peace he had fought so hard to attain.

As the day unfolded, it seemed as though the fates conspired to test his patience and resolve. An onslaught of disputes among the residents, the ongoing restoration of infrastructure (thankfully tended to by Vaela), the influx of new refugees, and the needs of orphaned children clamoring for his attention left him feeling stretched thin. Amidst the chaos, he couldn't shake the regret that the one person who deserved his undivided attention often found herself overlooked in his pursuit of balance.

Exiting the hot water, Halsin caught his reflection in the mirror and couldn't help but feel disheartened by the sight. The lines etched around his eyes bore witness to the weight of his years, while slight streaks of gray infiltrated his once-vibrant chestnut locks. The burden of his responsibilities weighed heavily upon him, casting doubt upon his worthiness of the love that Vaela so freely bestowed upon him.

He couldn't fathom what Vaela saw in him, why she chose to remain by his side despite the allure of a life of adventure that lay behind her. If she were to express a desire to depart, he would understand, though the mere thought left him reeling with the anguish of potential loss. For he had never loved another as he loved Vaela, and the notion of her absence was a prospect too painful to contemplate.

With a heavy heart and weary limbs, Halsin donned his night attire and made his way back to Vaela, yearning for the solace of her presence amidst the tumult of their world.

And there she was… Already awaiting his return — seated upright in their bed, her eyes alight despite the day's toils, and a warm smile gracing her lips as she extended her arms in welcome. Overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude, Halsin wasted no time in closing the distance between them. With two long strides, he descended upon their ample bed, collapsing heavily into her awaiting embrace. Vaela's laughter filled the air as she tightened her hold on her druid lover, her strength a reminder of her warrior roots.

Nestling his head in the crook of her shoulder, Halsin found himself enveloped in the love emanating from his Tiefling partner. A sense of profound comfort washed over him like a soothing tide, allowing his weary body to surrender to the warmth of her embrace.

With gentle fingers, Vaela began to weave through Halsin's beautiful chestnut locks that were now tinged with a few gray strands, the rhythmic motion coaxing him further into a state of relaxation. She delighted in the sight of his hair cascading freely, unfettered from its usual knot and braids. A soft chuckle escaped her lips as his eyelids drooped with the onset of sleep. Cradling him against her, she reveled in the opportunity to admire his rugged features.

Her touch traced the scarred path etched across his brow, a testament to the trials he had endured in his youth. The deep marks, inflicted by a vengeful she-bear, held a captivating allure, serving as a symbol of his resilience and connection to the natural world. Moving her hand to caress his cheek, Vaela savored the sensation of his textured copper-toned skin beneath her fingertips, eliciting a soft sigh from Halsin.

Her gaze drifted lower, lingering on the powerful muscles that adorned his broad back. In the Summer heat, Halsin forwent a night shirt, allowing Vaela an unobstructed view of his imposing form. Grateful for the opportunity to behold him in all his splendor, she traced the contours of his physique with a reverent touch.

Against the sensitive skin of her neck, Vaela felt the mischievous grin spread across Halsin's lips, accompanied by a low growl rumbling in his throat. Without hesitation, his lips descended upon her hungrily, trailing kisses along her neck with fervent passion. Sometimes his kisses were so passionate that they threatened to leave bruises, while other times they danced playfully, eliciting laughter from Vaela.

As Halsin rose to his knees on the bed, he grasped Vaela by the hips, drawing her closer to his own body to the point that her night dress had slid above her waist. A blush painted her cheeks as he closed the gap between them, covering her body with his massive form once more. A sharp intake of breath escaped her lips as their eyes locked in a moment of intense connection. Halsin's gaze, transitioning quickly from a soft gold to its usual hazel, reflected a mixture of emotions — from simmering lust to deep-seated love and appreciation. Taking in Vaela's captivating features — her auburn hair now loosely braided, the elegant horns adorning her head, the scar that traced across her cheek and nose — Halsin found himself momentarily lost in admiration and then, regrettably, plagued by his own insecurities. Vaela, attuned to his emotions, met his gaze with unwavering affection, silently urging him to voice his thoughts.

"Are you happy with the life we tread together?" Halsin's voice carried a note of uncertainty, tinged with a hint of longing.

Vaela's heart twinged with sadness at his doubt, wishing she could dispel his insecurities with a single word. Yet she knew Halsin's humility ran deep, a trait she both cherished and yearned to alleviate. "Incandescently happy," she responded with conviction, offering him a reassuring smile.

A sigh escaped Halsin's lips as he momentarily averted her gaze, his cheeks tinged with embarrassment. “I am glad to hear it… Forgive an old fool in need of reassurance," he murmured softly. "I still expect to stir from the dream.”

"Never doubt my love for you, Halsin," Vaela's voice was tender, her words laced with unwavering devotion as she caressed his cheek. "I chose you for a reason, and have never looked back,” she murmured, her eyes meeting his with earnest sincerity. "Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of this world, you are my anchor, my guiding light," she confessed, her voice soft but resolute. "You possess a strength and kindness unlike any I have ever known, and it is that very essence that drew me to you, and keeps me by your side."

Halsin nodded shyly, a smile playing at the corners of his lips and a glimmer of tears shining in his eyes.

“Now… come here to me,” Vaela whispered, echoing words spoken between them countless times before.

Their lips melded then, sparking a fiery desire that surged between them. Halsin's hands moved with practiced skill beneath Vaela's night dress, seeking the warmth of her skin with eager anticipation. Vaela, equally enthralled, welcomed his advances with a delighted sigh, reveling in the intimacy they shared. In these fleeting moments, they were reminded of the victories they had won together, the struggles they had overcome. Bathed in the soft moonlight filtering through the window, they sought refuge in each other's arms, their passion reignited with each gentle touch. As night descended, they surrendered to the intoxicating rhythm of their love, their whispered pledges blending with the soothing rustle of leaves outside, a testament to the sanctuary they had built and the bond they shared.

Send “📂“ for a random yet completely useless headcanon I have

Warning for minor body horror (Mentions of players removing skins, which are like onesies in this 'fic universe + injury / dragon bites)

In my Pixels Imperfect universe, frustration that you're still holding onto manifests as a glowing scar. Specifically, a scar all the way down to your soul level, meaning it glows through any new skin you put on. This is called a soul wound.

Martyn's the poster child for soul wounds being visible, since this is his in-universe parallel of IRL Martyn's Eyes and Ears lore.

In this image I drew for Dog's Life Chapter 26, "Ignite," you can see Martyn's cheek and collarbone scars (paralleling 3rd Life and Double Life respectively).

In a lore video, Martyn and his audience agreed that Martyn has his Last Life mark on the back of his right shoulder to represent being backstabbed (iirc), and we know from his Limited Life finale that he was cured of his right hand mark. His Secret Life mark hasn't happened at this point in the timeline, and also I don't think I know where it is.

In Eyes and Ears canon, I believe his scars glow purple to reflect the Watchers. In Pixels Imperfect, they glow white.

Cleo also has a wound, which is a massive dragon bite in her side. My pencil drawings don't make it obvious, but it's why her shirt hooks up like this and/or why she often takes off her shirt- the bite wound chafes sometimes and it just feels better to take it off.

Cleo's wound isn't as exciting as it sounds: They were helping to build New Star Station in its starter base days, but strayed too close to the Slime Dragon's guppies and got bit. They're fine, but lost a chunk of vessel data. You can put your hand in it and there will be resistance, but if you push through it, it's empty.

Their body is kind of like a milk gallon in the sense that it's shaped different than a glass of milk. It still holds everything it needs to (i.e. their vessel holds their soul without leaking), but their soul now follows the shape of the "gallon," which has a gap in it (like a milk gallon does for a handle).

What this also means is that Cleo can pull their shirt down over the wound and the shirt will still respond to their body's shape, because the shirt still registers it as body even though it's white energy.

Scar's chronic glitch works the same way- He can still use his arm, leg, or any other body part that glows blue, but it strains him and causes soreness or pain until the glitch moves to a different part of his body. The limb is there and can function... but it hurts, is weaker than usual, and sometimes it's so hard to get it to function that the limb is effectively non-functional.

Cleo's wound doesn't shift like his glitch, but it's the same principle: it's a phantom zone that her body treats as if it's sort of there, but she's also not going to lie on that side long-term because it would get sore. It's like an open wound, so lying on the dirt risks dirt particles pushing through their wound and ending up inside their body. Most people would prefer that doesn't happen, but Cleo's okay because they're a zombie and have a thing for being buried alive.

BigB also got bitten by a dragon. However, he took damage in a sensitive area that makes it difficult to breathe. This is the reason why he modded from an illusioner into a moth hybrid, which breathes through spiracles down his sides instead of down the throat.

Impulse's scar was a brief point of tension in my one-shot "Like Newlyweds Do," when being soulmates gave Bdubs Impulse's soul wound:

And even in the twilight, with lanterns dim, he can see the little mark he's searching for in the proper place on his husband's arm, too. Bdubs stands before the mirror, craning his neck to see his reflected back. His fingers trace along his skin. Impulse watches from the bed, face half-buried in his folded arms. If his tail were out, it would be ticking back and forth, counting out the seconds before Bdubs asks him why he never fixed that scar behind his right shoulder. "I like it," Bdubs says, prodding the old gash with one finger. It's white, glowing faintly. "I've got a clock from you and you've got this from me." In that moment, Impulse wishes he could kill on green.

Pixels Bdubs is a very interesting character to me. He's loud, proud, and not easily shut down. He also denies his own issues all the time.

During Dog's Life, Bdubs gains a lip scar after he and Impulse have a huge fight about the Day 1 Crew alliance betrayal. Impulse cuts his lip with his sword; it's later revealed that Bdubs is confused as to why this scar is sticking, when he "doesn't think that fight was a big deal."

Here's Chapter 12 Bdubs (no lip scar) + Chapter 30 Bdubs:

It's subtle, but it's there.

Etho's eye scar is part of his skin design- It's not a soul wound. Etho has no backstory for his scar because it's just always been there on the skins he wears. It's blue and doesn't glow (Injuries lead to energy leakage, and the energy is white or blue in this universe depending on depth).

Here's the image that goes with "Canadian Idiot"-

And Joel's mark there was just "recent damage" because this was a Double Life 'fic about Etho's fox instincts and aggro kicking in through the soulbond when Joel takes damage, so Etho was lashing out at Joel and/or himself every time he got hurt.

I can't believe I wrote a huge 'fic centered around Etho repeatedly biting Joel's neck 2 months before we got the "neck kisses" gag. I'm so sorry, Joel... I was just writing about fox aggro and a fox's instinct involving teeth instead of a weapon, I swear... it wasn't supposed to have a double meaning...

In a one-shot titled "The Man He Sets His Spawn With," most of the cast stripped off their skins in the server hub's locker room / shower house and had Grian blast them with a power washer to rinse the Secret Life mod off. Bdubs was our POV character and we learned some interesting things:

He pushes forward. Souls blur together, blue and overlapping, and the glowing doesn't help with the identity stuff like at all. He can pick out Tango (facing away from him) by the enormous white gash scarred down his right shoulder. Not pointing fingers, but that one's a Bdubs original. You're welcome for helping you look so cool, you're turning heads. Martyn's got smaller scars - little diamonds - that glow in fragments here and there across his soul. There's an arrow wound in his belly, though that one's hard to see when he's wearing skins… or, y'know. Clothes. Can't take credit for that one, though, because that's all Scar from a particularly brutal perma-death back in 3rd Life that still leaves Martyn jumpy today (so Bdubs has self-observed). And Impulse has an arrow mark just like that behind his shoulder… but then, Impulse has scars and patched-up bits of code everywhere. That's nothing new. What's one more?

- Tango's got a soul wound from Bdubs betraying him in Last Life. He's totally buddy-buddy with Bdubs and they're friends, it's fine, but Tango hasn't quite let it go.

- Martyn has an arrow wound in his belly. This is a nod to Double Life. Shortly before Cleo drowned, taking their yellow life, Martyn saw Scar coming towards him, screamed, and took off as fast as he could, yelling "No, no, no!" and that he's "Not dying to you [Scar] again."

Interestingly enough, the only time Scar ever killed Martyn up to that point was when he perma-killed him in 3rd Life; Martyn's reaction seems to imply Character Martyn has trauma around that.

Bdubs doesn't seem to care that he's responsible for giving several of his friends soul wounds, which makes it funnier that he gets super annoyed in Dog's Life when he gets the lip scar.

Bdubs is the kind of person who'd see the scar and then spin around or walk backwards while slapping at his lip over and over, trying to wipe it off. He refuses to admit he has issues with it.

Bdubs actually has another scar, but it's somewhere on his back (and under his clothes) where he can't easily see it. The Phantom Dragon's whole thing is that she spreads her babies to all the server hubs by dropping them off and leaving, but little Bdubs refused to go, so he just clung to her the whole time until she finally did ditch him in Underdark Crossing, where he met Cleo.

If you ask him about it, he'll spin a story about how it was all his idea to go solo and that's what makes him a good captain. He has huge issues with it, though, because his mom totally dumped him and he's not over it.

Martyn's also a phantom, but he never went through that because he was adopted by hybrids as an egg. Bdubs gets very jealous when his friends talk about having a good relationship with their moms. Secretly, he likes how Etho's mom also picked him up by the scruff and dumped him in New Star. It's something they have in common, though Bdubs will never admit it.

Bdubs probably has a lot of deep-seeded resentment towards Martyn being adopted, because supposedly he's "told Martyn horror stories about the phantom nesting hub" and may or may not have played a role in poisoning Martyn's relationship with the Phantom Dragon.

Also, at the end of Dog's Life Chapter 32 ("Starve"), we learned that SnifferMyFeet has a huge X-shaped scar on his back from each shoulder to hip, crossing both his Grian and Joel halves. Still working through the good ol' body possession trauma.

Tango specializes in aesthetic mods and one of the things he does is help people make their scars more subtle. You can't scrap them forever - you have to let go of your frustration to do that - but you can lower their intensity.

Alright. At long last, I present to you the bracket...or should I say...*BRACKETS* for the Virtual Character Tournament!

Given the scale, the first round is going to be one bracket per week, 4 a day, with each lasting 24 hours. I know that this is still tight, but given how many contestants there are, along with the necessary inclusions of images and propaganda (oh and I guess also my job), it's what I can do to keep this semi-manageable. GLITCH’S BLUES CHAPTER 15 IS UP WHAT WHAT—

(Yes, I remember the poll, it’s getting used next time.)

After 97 (98 counting the wolf from the beginning) deaths, I can say that I FINALLY BEAT MY FIRST (90 percent) BLIND BLOODBORNE RUN. DID IT. SPOILERS FOR ENDING.

And so, this is the last Bloodborne Run update and I know I skipped much. Last update, I defeated Rom. Killed Master Logarious after learning you can just visceral attack him to stop him from going into his second phase, Alligned myself with the Vilebloods, gave Alfred the Summons and was shocked yet not shocked to see him going crazy (I didn’t expect him to turn the Queen to mush) and then turns out he just… dies at the altar. I was so sad to see that, my only friendly person just dead, probably by offing himself.

Played a game of tag with Micolash and died once to the people on the stairs, and found a glitch that he just stands right by the cell door when I was fighting off the skeletons and hit it, so I did not kill him the intended way but I did not want to play tag anymore it was 4am. Gained access to Upper Cathedral Ward, lost a lot of Insight by the brain suckers and fought the blue alien people in the Lumenflower Gardens, defeated Mergo’s Wet Nurse and went to check on the lady in white who peaced out after the boss.

The Dream’s on fire, went to the handicapped old man Gehrman at the tree and refused his offer, of which cured his kneecaps and slaughtered me throughly right before I would reach his Second Phase. Since it was endgame, I decided to explore more. Found the Altar of Despair and with the help of NPC acting as a distraction and the fact I was over leveled by this point, killed the Daughter of Cosmos and accidentally revived Queen Annalise making Alfred surely turn beyond the ‘grave’, I’m sorry man. Found the Darkbeast Paarl who by this point, was easily bodied and made peace with Djura, the man with the machine gun until I realized it is endgame, and me probably has loot. So I killed him, then the guy in the Forbidden Woods, and the other guy who came cause I killed the other guy and got a whistle out of it and forgot to kill the Ward man.

DLC was on sale and I am not counting those deaths literally, the hunters in the first arena wrecked me and their weapons have unfair range, Ludwig wrecked me, got a glow stick out of it, the two guys in the hall wrecked me. Got to the Research Hall and gave a woman some brain fluid, died many times to the Living Failures until I realized that the doors are a safe spot from the meteors. Then I met Lady Maria, she can fist my chest any day but wow was she easy with the Augur and just sticking close. Gascoigne does not teach you parrying, she does. Got lost in the Fishing Hamlet and called on online hunter to help me kill the fish giants, Orphan of Kos and Laurence.

With the DLC tackled along with my sanity slain over how damn hard it was, Gehrman was less tough and just when I thought I won, a creature appears as the Moon Presence and smashes me to pulp since I had barely any items left. I defeated it, and became a Black Leech and the Plain Doll is now the mother figure of a new Great One.

Game is maginificent and now that I can finally search up everything I missed a lot but I did a lot too. 10 out of 10, great music, hate/love gameplay and fun weapons. A wonderful first soulsborne experience. Hunter Hat, Cainhurst Armor, Hunter trousers, Knight Gloves and armed with my Threaded Cane and Holy Moonlight Sword. Currently in NG+, just beat Gascoigne and loving how you can sweep, but not without challenge still. Do I understand the lore? Probably not. But I am to get the refuse ending this time, and with the help of searching finally, try and get anything I missed. 57 Hours well spent!

(Pibby Corrupted Gang facts!! :D

This AU is basically based on the Pibby glitch from the Learning With Pibby trailer (eh, obviously also based on lots of FNF Pibby mods lol)

Beta, MB, Pico, Skid and Pump got infected but appear docile compared to other infecteds

MB's own powers became a little unstable when he got corrupted (like his feathers are glowing and sparking non-stop-)

Blue is a survivor of the glitch- He's similar to the actual Blue but usually stays serious and determined during his missions

Blue actually cut his own hair short

Girlfriend was corrupted by the glitch before but was immeditately and unknowningly cured- It could be possible that Beta, MB, Pico and the Spooky Kids are possibly going to be cured somehow

Before Pico got corrupted, his right arm was ripped off when he encountered another infected, but thanks to the glitch, it generated a huge claw when he got infected himself

Skid and Pump got themselves into an amalgamate mutation when they got infected, making them fuse together and share a body)

Ok weirdest thing...

I do have to warn you that due to the rather extreme tastes of people in Glitch City most things they make down here would be regarded as strange.

For example, due to the prevalence of very large pokemon, there is a very widespread culture of food preservation here. Most meats are cured and heavily salted to preserve their shelf life as long as possible. So most meat that dishes are prepared with is typically regarded as "mystery meat".

Now all that said there are certainly some bizarre dishes here, though strange certainly doesn't mean unappetizing in this instance. For example, I have tried a dish made with meat from a 4-4. The filets were a striking blue/green color and tasted actually far lighter than you'd expect (though strangely a little sour??) And they made it with this really savory Topo berry sauce.

A pretty wide variety of flavors you wouldn't expect. So.. yeah very strange. Good but strange. Which is par for the course.

(That said, caffeine is added as a flavoring agent to bring out bitterness in a lot of dishes so... maybe I should be counting that among weird things here. I don't know I'm kind of used to it at this point)

Just finished playing sb ruin!

STEEL WOOL YOU HAD ONE JOB how did you make the plot holes worse.

Three characters have just EVAPORATED two were just environmental hazards at BEST and only two got any sort of character development!!!!

Literally the only new characters were a) the protagonist (expected, wanted) and b) the antagonist (CONTEXT??? LORE?? HELLO?!). 'Oh it's been down there for a really long time' HAS IT NOW?? HAS IT?? BECAUSE IT SURE WASN'T THERE BEFORE. WE WENT THERE AND IT WASN'T THERE.

The voice acting was great, I will say that. Every actor gave 110% and it really brought the whole thing to life. The set building too. And the glitchy effects!

Unfortunately the story completely fell through again.

At the start, it felt pretty clear where it was going to go. 'Gregory' was directing us down to the old afton fight area, there was rabbit/vanny graffiti everywhere, there was a strange rabbit mask that turned the world purple and glitchy and let you walk through solid objects occasionally, instructed by a gaslighting little AI that knew more than it was letting on.

Given the way it lined up with the gargantuan plot holes in security breach, and it was free dlc for the game marketed as fixing those holes, it was fairly obvious it'd be a story with vanny as the final boss, having not given up on her goal and possibly still kidnapping children. Cassie would potentially face mind control or sensory brainwashing from the mask, we'd get attacked by the broken animatronics, maybe put them to rest or cure them enough to escape the pizza plex, and at the end we'd find out how Gregory was being impersonated, a boss fight almost certainly in vr against whatever weird blue robo bunny kept staring at us (it doesn't even do anything???) and vanny irl, Cassie would stop their plans and/or burn the pizza plex down the rest of the way. Meet up with Gregory again at the end, possibly with a freddy head, I wasn't picky.

You know, closure.

Instead, the plot was... Essentially nonexistent, just as much a run quest cycle as sb despite the linear progression and lack of teleporting animatronics, somehow. The boss 'fight' was completely divorced from the rest of the game, all but roxy and the da were entirely absent of any character development, both of which were relevant for about three seconds.

The lift ending was a cheap shock value ending which only left more questions than answers. The other two, which we googled, were equally free of things like 'explanations' and 'filled plot holes' and 'context' and 'closure', and all of which were dependant purely on random actions in the final scene we were given no hints to knowing about, unlike sb. By the end we were left in shock, fury, confusion and betrayal, which isn't a great note to end your game on.

All in all, while eclipse was a pleasant surprise and roxys five new lines of dialogue were sweet and a bit sad, ruin managed to be like security breach in all the worst ways, and didn't even have any funny glitches to laugh at. Loading screens were insanely long, enough we once ate a full meal during three back to back ones and went on our phones instead of waiting patiently, AND regular. All deaths were to the slippery catwalk in gator golf or frustration making us reckless, and we had to get out the walk throughs just to navigate certain areas. Though we were told we were invisible to most animatronics in the mask no one had told any of them. Bar the endos every single one could spot and chase us in the mask. We got softlocked several times and had to restart. The weird robot rabbit never got any context or explanation and didn't even do anything to our knowledge?? Summoned the animatronics maybe but even if you didn't take the mask off and walked through him he wouldn't do anything. Got jumpscared ONCE and then we continued on our merry way.

Also the game crashed twice.
