When Shaila Ann Rao gets accused of giving mercedes info bcs she's ex-Merc but then the 5 men who previously worked for ferrari and now work for the FIA have had no such accusations.
When checo said susie belongs in the kitchen
When people called Angela Lewis' plaything
When hannah was called a snake for literally doing her job and rbr fans clambered to defend her but then conveniently forgot the time their golden boy called Kelly his most expensive purchase - it is that deep u can't accuse someone of misogyny when they call hannah a snake and then turn a blind eye when Kelly gets objectified and gets hate for being in a relationship with golden boy. You defend all misogyny, or you keep your mouth shut. You don't pretend to defend misogyny to peddle an agenda.
When a certain tp says women watch f1 for the good looking men.
When the fans of a certain f1 driver get called a cult for talking about the racism HE DOES face and highlighting the double standards HE IS treated with (he's a role model amirite) but the men who watch football beat their wives up when their team loses
When susie gets accused of a 'conflict of interest' but christian horner is going to dinner with f1 officials and a Honda dealership owner is a steward and Toto is besties with Lawrence and redbull has 2 teams and Nicholas todt is charles' manager.

The Bats spend so much time with Supers that they all habitually curse to Rao (Dick doesn’t technically have his “own” Super, but he got his whole-ass hero name from Clark/Kryptonian culture, he can get his cussing from there too)
(Jason feels left out and starts cussing to Diana, and almost dies of mortification when he’s called in to back up the Justice League one time and she very gently, very kindly lets him know she has just enough godly blood that she actually does get a metaphysical ping when people “pray” to her)
They slip enough in public that people start rumors they’re in some sort of cult. Lex, who knows exactly who Rao is, promptly accuses Superman of being a Kryptonian missionary and trying to religiously colonize Earth. Damian promptly threatens Lex with a sword. (“It was blunted, Father.” “That’s not the point. The point is that it was on international television.” Dick is struggling in the background deciding whether or not to give Damian a thumbs-up behind Bruce’s back.)
#no bizarro does not factor into this for reasons I’m sure you can work out yourself#batfamily#dc#mine

ANOTHER AU!? I know what you're saying... Gwen, you're nuts. But not only are you absolutely right, I think this one might be my most ambitious one yet. As a young nerd, there were two groups. The Marvel fans and the DC fans. And while the rivalry certainly has calmed down a bit, I was almost always torn. So, earlier in the week, I decided to do the one thing that every fanfic writer has tried at least once.
A Marvel/DC crossover.
But unlike the typical realm merger, to put it in Mortal Kombat terms, this is a universe where both properties coexist. For example, picture a group of people walking to a Big Belly Burger while listening to Just the Facts with J. Jonah Jameson. That's just a fraction. I have an ENTIRE starting cast as well.

☕️ on Supergirl!!
(Perusing my tea shelf, what shall I choose for Supergirl... ^_^ )
Okay, so the Cult of Rao was a plot line that I don't really feel got utilized to it's full potential. It touched on big topics like cultural appropriation and the way cult leaders pick and choose the bits of religion they like to create their new and 'correct' religious way. But because it focused so hard on the cult gone wrong aspect, I think it failed as a criticism of cultural appropriation.
Rao was both the star around which Krypton revolved and the deity which Kryptonians worshiped. True worshipers of Rao were known as Raoists in the comics and it would have informed a not insignificant about of the culture Kara was raised in before Krypton was destroyed. Thus it would have to be very upsetting for her to see the religion of her childhood have the trappings slapped on top of a cult that was very... Christian underneath the Kryptonian veneer.
This was an opportunity to Kara to open up about her own feelings about her people's religion and faith. Was it an open religion to all beings, Kryptonian or otherwise? Was it a Kryptonian and Daxamite only thing, largely closed to other species? We don't really get a lot about Kara talking about her Kryptonian heritage in terms of cultural practices - most of it has to do with her family specifically. Which is fair, she was very young when her world died and would have known her family's practices fairly well, but not necessarily the parts of her world's culture her parents chose not to embrace or regional variations... she was geared towards following her father into the physical sciences, after all. She wasn't going into anthropology or religious studies. And having this cult showing up could make her uncomfortable with herself too over just the sheer amount of Kryptonian culture that she's simply incapable of keeping alive on her own.
The United States has a history of commodifying cultures that aren't heavily Christian the way main stream US culture is. We treat Native American dress as a costume appropriate for Halloween parties, ignore the cultural impacts of minorities where they can't be whitewashed (Elvis stealing the music - and dance style - of Black America and getting famous off it is a great example), the treatment of other nations food staples as 'weird and exotic'... the trivialization of some non-Christian religions while others are demonized.
The Cult of Rao could have been an excellent opportunity to say something meaningful about cultural and religious appropriation, to really hammer home how much it harmed Kara as this ongoing plot beyond just a handful of episodes tied to the World Killer arc. To show that it wasn't harmful just because it became an excuse for these people to do violence, but because the religion of Rao was being treated as a fad. Her people's cultural identity watered down, turning her people's spiritual practices into the next yoga obsession, stripped of all history or understanding of the significance behind the practices save for what makes it more catchy to the people appropriating it.

*Junglee Pictures’ Pan-Indian magnum opus, Dosa King, to be TJ Gnanavel’s next after Vettaiyan*
(Serving Masala Dosa and Murder – Dosa King is inspired by the rise and fall of the empire built by restaurant mogul P. Rajagopal and his epic clash with Jeevajothi)
Following the much-anticipated release of Vettaiyan on October 10th, starring megastars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and Fahadh Faasil, acclaimed director TJ Gnanavel is back to deliver another cinematic magnum opus with Junglee Pictures' Dosa King. Known for making loved films like Badhaai Do and Raazi, Junglee Pictures has teamed up with Gnanavel to bring this epic story to the big screen. Written by TJ Gnanavel and Hemanth Rao, the Pan-Indian film is inspired by the epic clash of Jeevajothi and P. Rajagopal, setting the stage for a battle of ambition, power, and justice. Junglee Pictures has acquired the exclusive life rights of Jeevajothi Santhakumar for an exclusive and detailed on screen portrayal of the saga.
This high-on-drama and entertainment film is set to be mounted on a grand scale and promises to deliver a cinematic experience. Dosa King is inspired by the shocking crime of the restaurant mogul, famously known as the ‘Dosa King,’ that triggered a landmark conviction after an intense 18-year legal battle—P. Rajagopal v. State of Tamil Nadu. Gnanavel, celebrated for his gripping narratives and unforgettable characters, is set to bring this film, inspired by the thrilling case that was followed worldwide, to life. The fictional drama chronicles events inspired by the rise and fall of the legendary and globally famous empire, Saravana Bhavan, built by, P. Rajagopal, and the fearless Jeevajothi who took on the powerful tycoon. Dosa King is set to captivate audiences everywhere.
Hemanth Rao, known for his much-loved and cult film in Kannada, "Godhi Banna Saadharna Manushya," as well as films like "Kavaludaari" and "Sapta Saagaradaache Ello - Side A/Side B”, that were both written and directed by him. He has also co-written "Andhadhun," which was widely acclaimed in Hindi cinema, and is co-writing "Dosa King" alongside Gnanavel. T.J. Gnanavel, known for his critically acclaimed Tamil film "Jai Bhim," which he both wrote and directed, as well as notable films like "Payanam" and "Kootathil Oruthan," Gnanavel's sharp perspective, rooted in years of experience as a journalist, positions him perfectly to helm this complex and emotionally potent narrative.
Expressing his excitement, TJ Gnanavel shared, “I’ve been following Jeevajothi’s story since my days as a journalist. While the press sensationalized many details, much of the story remains untold. 'Dosa King' is a hard-hitting story that exposes how the system functions, with a focus on the crime and thriller aspects of the narrative. I want to explore the extreme situations of life and tell a deeper story with an untold perspective on the case. This film is my chance to share a story I witnessed firsthand 20 years ago, and I’m thrilled to partner with Junglee Pictures, a studio known for backing important stories that need to be told.”
Amrita Pandey, CEO Junglee Pictures, added, “Dosa King is a thrilling narrative that demands a masterful blend of scale, drama, and entertainment. We’re beyond excited to team up with the meticulous Gnanavel to bring this monumental film to life. Hemanth and Gnanavel, through extensive research, have crafted a script with such powerful twists, turns, and nuances of each character, making it a high-octane commercial and cinematic experience. We’re thrilled to be taking it to top-tier talent soon, and we can’t wait to start filming soon.”
Casting for the lead roles with top talent will begin soon, ensuring that the film will feature performances as compelling as its story. Dosa King is scheduled to begin production soon.

From Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to Singham Again: 7 sequels releasing in 2024!
Just as 2023 was inundated with sequels (10 in all, including the Netflix Lust Stories anthology film), 2024, as of now, is set to have eight of them, plus a spin-off. As of now, as per reports, only two—Stree 2 and Raid 2—are likely to be true sequels, just like Gadar 2 and Tiger 3 last year. Last year, these sequels were crowded between June and December, but this year, they will begin from February itself. And this time, T-Series and Jio Studios are involved as producers in three movies each.
Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 (earlier film in 2010) The next in the Balaji Telefilms’ bold franchise that introduced Rajkummar Rao and was Nushrratt Bharuccha’s first hit, the film was to release in February itself, but has now been postponed to April 19. Dibakar Banerjee is writer-director and co-producer again. As of now, Nimrit Ahluwalia, Anupam Joardar and the foreign actress Rossana Elsa Scugugia are the only cast known.
Singham Again (earlier films in 2010 and 2014) The iconic Rohit Shetty character of Singham will be back after Singham (that started Rohit’s Cop Universe) and Singham Returns, on Independence Day. Kareena Kapoor Khan also ‘returns’ as his wife from the latter film. Deepika Padukone is the newest (and first female) addition to Rohit’s Cops, while the other members of his Cop Universe—Simmba a.k.a. Ranveer Singh and Sooryavanshi a.k.a. Akshay Kumar will also feature here. Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and (if buzz is true) Tiger’s father Jackie Shroff will come into this patriotic saga!
Jio Studios co-produces this spectacular production. But more importantly, this is a chance for Rohit to redeem himself after Cirkus. A small point: Singham also made a mark in cameos in Simmba and Sooryavanshi, so he will be seen for the fifth time here!
Stree 2 (earlier film in 2018) The new film once again features all the five loved characters in Stree—Shraddha Kapoor in the title role, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Stree was the first film in the Dinesh Vijan Horror Universe, and the sequel is again directed by Amar Kaushik. This Jio Studios co-production will also be an August release.
Metro…In Dino (earlier film in 2007) This year’s sequels will be known for their ensemble casts. Anurag Basu repeats only Konkona Sen Sharma from the nine lead players of Life In A…Metro, and adds Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Pritam, his constant music composer, is in again. The first film had an unusual concept and theme and its music too was employed in an unusual way. The same is expected with this T-Series Films co-production.
Badass Ravikumar (earlier film, The Xpose, in 2014) This can be called a spin-off, or a sequel with a different title! Prabhu Dheva actually plays antagonist to Himesh Reshammiya’s lead character of Ravikumar, reprised from the earlier movie. The film is also produced and co-written by Himesh and has music by him, but it also marks the all-rounder’s debut as a director!
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (earlier films in 2007 and 2022) Anees Bazmee, director of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (which netted Rs. 185 crores in India) is helming the third part of the franchise that started with Priyadarshan’s cult horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which was his last Hindi hit, in 2007. He repeats his 2022 lead pair, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, with Madhuri Dixit Nene, Vidya Balan from the first film in the franchise, Naseeruddin Shah and Elnaaz Nouruzi as co-star. The music for this November release is likely to be scored by the franchise’s composer, Pritam. The film is again produced by T-Series Films.
Raid 2 (earlier film in 2018) Ajay Devgn once again plays an upright Income-Tax official in this sequel to Raid (a Rs. 100 crores grosser), which is helmed again by Raj Kumar Gupta. Vaani Kapoor is the new leading lady, while Riteish Deshmukh is the antagonist. This is yet another T-Series franchise.
Welcome to the Jungle (earlier films in 2007 and 2015) Ahmed Khan directs this multi-star adventure that will try and reprise the whacky mood of its predecessors. Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, child artiste Vrihi Kodvara, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and more are in the cast, including singers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh. Jio Studios join Firoz Nadiadwala in producing the third part in his franchise of Welcome and Welcome Back, with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal repeated from the earlier movie. What remains to be seen is whether they will be playing the same iconic characters of Rajiv and Dr. Ghunghroo, which they had done earlier, with Paresh featuring in both instalments though Akshay was only there in the first.

@herleads asked: you're avoiding the question. / mags
" I'm sorry, " Alex yielded, her breath of concession a tight - throated one. A white flag, barely standing at half mast in the silt and rubble of everything she hadn't said; everything that, for the duration of a quiet evening in the absence of unruly aliens or enemy agents ( everything but the undiscussed elephant in the room shaped like Kara's sacrifices, like the scars on the city left behind by a full scale invasion that had yet to be tended to, like the crevasse dad had left behind him when he'd put the DEO's once misguided mission before her ), had coalesced the air into an almost unbreathable smog.
The question Maggie posed had been nothing but innocuous, and yet Alex could scarcely muster the outward enthusiasm that cake tasting deserved. Not while Kara's light had been so diminished, so tempered by defeat after defeat and every visceral, glaring reminder of the world she'd lost.
Not while there was still so much of their imminent future together they'd yet to properly, honestly discuss.
" I mean — it's not that I don't want to plan our wedding, or that I don't care about place settings or floral arrangements. I just... I'm worried about Kara. You know, after those panic attacks, and Coville's phony cult of rao and everything. "
#herleads#danviers ; asks#; i never want to stop having firsts with you / alex & maggie#/ not me taking early s3 and removing mo.n - el from it xo

Hot spot fake rescue evidence is overwhelming
There is a monster when things go wrong. The "Master Guo", who has been vowing to make a fortune with his "comrades" and realize the freedom of wealth, poured cold water on the obsessed ant fans by declaring bankruptcy, and also rubbed the American judiciary hard. Brain cells gradually depleted of the plague turtle wisdom, thought that the use of this technique can both escape, get away with murder, but also can be a division of the famous disciples of the investment all swallowed, kill two birds with one stone a successful conclusion, can be seen plague turtle has been naive to think that cover their ears, you can rest assured to boldly steal the bell.
File for bankruptcy remodeling hundreds of millions of "negative" weng people set, the premise is really bankrupt, according to it, apparently Guo Wengui is not up to the standard. The treacherous "turtle son" has always been cunning rabbit three holes, will never put all the eggs in one basket, only from the hidden property a trick, can see that the money will be "broken up into pieces" to hide. Heaven is good reincarnation, God Rao who. After all, the plague turtle knows its sin is not a good death, at least also have to leave some coffin for themselves, will never waste a light. As we all know, GTV donation Guo Wengui made 1 billion dollars, chair money is not a cent back, and the rule of law fund, rule of law society and catch many investors, said good financial disclosure, eventually became a muddleheaded account. As long as the ants have a little IQ, don't think of their real money into the "bully brother" purse, on its geese have to pull hair temperament, also won't Bannon and others out of their pockets, natural reservations.
In yesterday's live broadcast, "Brother Cheat" vowed to build Liping coin and Xibi into the most stable, safest, fastest, lowest cost, and unalienable private wealth coinage right in the future in the world, leading all believers to achieve wealth freedom. Not only so, "chicken turn over" prospect is also getting better and better, yesterday live, the pest turtle wearing a unique "chicken turn over" red jacket, spit flying with goods. If the ants haven't forgotten, Plague Turtle claimed to be sending Hercules planes to the Ukraine rescue, and slapped his chest to give him whatever he wanted. How can such a rich country's "money" go bankrupt just because it is bankrupt? It is obviously another lie. In this way, the ant gang is really a cult. Some of the ants cooperated with the turtle to the extent that they were willing to do whatever they wanted. They even cried for money to help the "master" through the difficulties.
Russia and Ukraine war broke out, in the desperate Guo Wengui saw the Bodhisattva, with no heat does not dawg crazy began to perform. Guo Gang's legal fund for fame and prestige, said that it sent more than 30 people to Poland, the results of more than half a month has been staged false Ukraine rescue activities, all the promises have become a lie. The United Nations, Hercules, helicopters, buses, special planes, free meals and accommodation are all beautiful images conjured up by "Turtle Son", for the simple reason that it is to cheat donations. More let turtle son worry is the Long Island "three Standing Committee" is not to force, dog eat dog almost bad "bully elder brother" good, in the face of new China's federation of the most severe punishment is also "turtle" thing. Small cheater more LET A person can not help laughing, listen to the hot turtle lies, every day to eat and drink spicy, steak, salmon everything, then see who can in the "Guo master" there successful reimbursement? Other rescue teams are busy rescuing people every day with instant noodles and a sip of cold milk. And ant gangsters delicious good drink to enjoy not to say, there is a lot of time to invite favor sycophantic battle, put out the so-called rescue is just a prop to cheat money. And recently, Guo Wengui said in the live broadcast gang rescue team, in Ukraine saved 96 children, free to send them to Spain. Not to say is true or false, up to now the plague turtle has not explained the status quo of these children, if true, inevitably let a person suspect that they are involved in child trafficking, it is a crime.
God can still forgive the sin, the sin can not live. ESC has characterized GTV private equity as a financial fraud, that is ironical evidence, and the Gclub investigation is also in full swing. Such as boots landing, Guo Wengui hand hiding how many ants of instant noodles, also get to the bottom of it. Combing the bankruptcy application context of the plague turtle, the texture has been very clear, nothing more than to continue to play on the grounds of bankruptcy, wrote, directed and acted a "one-man show". Internet users as long as the network search Guo Wengui three words, is what kind of goods at a glance. So the turtle want to cut a wave of leek farce through the fake rescue, I'm afraid even if there is no audience on the stage, through the bad to learn 18 tricks have been exhausted, no card can play the turtle on the road.
