Part 5 of re-doing my designs.... Heket.... hyeket,,, heket :--) 🐸🐸 i may have procrastinated for six days but so be it i had a bit fun trying to complete this one today (cw for neglect and family death if reading)

I couldnt actually decide on a favorite weapon for her tbh. I just think she'd use gauntlets or a warhammer for fun but overall she would toss them aside and go like yep this one's on ME

And headcanons :-D unrelated sorta but i kinda just wanted to make two different outfits for her..... casual wear with just the 'belt' and compression makes sense because. Like. She does in fact get her hands dirty on a daily basis. And for cult wear i thought itd be nice to give her the crosses on her head back along with a cloak and dress :--) shes probably the only other sibling to take off the crosses from her head other than narinder 😭

And a blank to get a better look at her!! She does have black compression gloves on, as well as under her bandages-- she puts an extra layering of bandages just to cease the external bleeding,,, i think heket is silly and i love her

you guys flooded my first post with notes yesterday which is a little confusing for me and also insanely cool, i've never received such feedback on my art, so thank you everyone!! you gave me motivation to draw something substantial so you get an updated lamb design yippee! probably not the final one tho

also another lengthy post which is not required reading, just some stuff i've been thinking about on and off for a couple of weeks. i codenamed it "with death comes peace au" in my head and it may become a fanfic at some point but i don't want to be too hopeful

relevant to the first pic

• i do love the "single parent to a small nation" type of lamb, but for my au i see them more as an actual Cult Leader tm, which means they have to be irresistibly charming and charismatic. they put a lot off time into their looks and mannerisms and behavior (they had some practise even before their first death and before the red crown, but that is maybe for a later post), and they aim for a "heavenly angelic benevolent" type, since they're a lamb, a soft and fluffy creature that's mainly associated with innocence and self-sacrifice

• also the malnourishment-looking hc from the previous post still stands, which is a pain in the ass for them. their head-wool is their best quality one tho, so they try to get the most out of it, and style it in this cute fluffy bob (that also somewhat hides the hollowness of their face) with little braids here and there and camellias that never wilt, cause yk, for power show off holy image upkeep purposes

• they actually do like their neck scar, but the flock finds it unnerving

• so you remember how i said that they were laser focused on survival before their first death? they lived off of spite and spite alone, they knew of genocide for all their life (being born well after it started) and were determined to not let the bishops win. they didn't get a say in their birth, so they at least were entitled to have a say in their death (at least in their mind. but what a single sheep has on four gods)

• SOOO when the survival goal failed (kinda. task failed successfully yk) and toww gave them a new goal of cult leadership and slaughter, the spite became thirst for revenge. and it is a powerful tool, but it does not translate to the most graceful style of fighting.

• all that is to say that, yeah, they fight like a wildfire, and never really change in that regard. you don't have to learn defense if you kill your enemies fast enough (yes, it bites them in the ass. more often that they'd like to admit)

• i also liked the idea of them having armor, because let's be frank in the game they might as well be fighting naked, that wool cloak doesn't do anything for protection. i opted for a lightweight leather one since leather is easier to obtain, suits their quick movements and it's kinda a power move to wear armor that's made of your enemies' brethren. intimidation factor is important

I'm currently working on writing a fanfiction for a gravity falls AU where Fiddleford stayed the leader of the cult Society of the Blind Eye, and where Ford becomes his most dedicated worshiper. I'm calling it "Becoming the Cult Leader's Favorite," or BCLF. @al3xartist gave me the title. I know the name is kinda cutesy and funny, but I plan for the actual fic to be very angsty, yippee!! Don't worry though, I plan to give it a happy ending. It has Fiddauthor as a pretty big part of it, but it's not the main point.

I'm gonna publish it on Ao3 even if this poll is 100% no. I'm just making this post because I'm going absolutely feral thinking about it, and I need other people to know that this is in my head.

fklsdjf i did laugh at the ask simply saying "i never". but yeah totally!! with the caveat that i def wouldn't call myself an expert on the wonderfam - i've only read wonder woman (1987) so far, and honestly overall i mostly only know anything abt dc's postcrisis era - but that being said, here's what i'd posit as the cassie basics:

her origin is in wonder woman (1987) #105. in general, she has a lot of background appearances in byrne's run on ww87 (so from #101 - #136), so for a good sense of her relationships with diana, her mom, etc., i'd def rec those! #113 is her debut as wonder girl, and #122 is also a pivotal cassie issue (the one where she gets her powers officially). she continues to have appearances in eric luke's run, which is after byrne's, but tbh eric luke kind of sucks balls (read: his run is full of racist bullshit, especially wrt bana-mighdall, but we can get into that lore in another post!) however there's some stuff in there with artemis being the one who specifically trains cassie, and one arc that i would rec for cassie in particular is #156-#158, which deals with cassie's insecurities around the role of wonder girl getting exploited by a mind-reading and mind-controlling villain who tricks her into trying to kill diana. i don't love some parts of it, but i think it is fascinating for cassie.

cassie has a lot of other fun appearances in wonder woman (1987) - honestly i rec the whole run bc i just loved reading most of it, and her relationships with diana, artemis, and donna are all sooo good - but the meat of her appearances + the run people tend to know her most from is young justice (1998). this is the one where she's on a team with kon, tim, bart, cissie, anita, slo-bo, and greta! she's elected team leader and they do shenanigans.

after that comes titans/young justice: graduation day, which is certainly a comic. it's pivotal for cassie in that it's where donna dies and she is Fucked Up about that. this informs a lot of her early writing in teen titans (2003), which is like... how do i describe tt03. it's not a good comic but it introduces so many ideas and so many themes that are utterly fascinating and sooo dissectable. what the fuck is going on here.

kon dies in her arms during infinite crisis (2005), which takes place around issues #32-#33 of tt03. and she kind of uhhh joins a cult to cope in 52, which i think more people should talk about. she rejoins the titans in tt03 #34 and continues to do stuff from there on. yippee. she also has a miniseries, wonder girl (2007), which is set in the tt03 era following the amazons attack storyline.

but overall i have to say my favorite cassie era is her early days. when she's just hanging out going YEAAAA!!!! >:D every time she gets to watch diana punch someone. so i'd def rec her ww87 appearances because i love herrrr ♥

- when they just start chanting Herbet it’s like Kirk becomes instantly uncool. I think if a bunch of middle schoolers just started chanting a random name at me I’d cry

- I can’t tell if this episode is going to be very against the group (like Kirk is right now) or if their side of the argument will be validated to some extent (I have a feeling they might be validated cause Spock understands them and also stated that they were academic) (edit: it was a secret third option)

🗞️ You immediately text your friends, Amy and Finn, telling them to come over. You also tell them to introduce themselves as your friends, in the hopes that they make it through the gates without much trouble.

🗞️ They say they will arrive within an hour, allowing you to start your part of the investigation early. Looking around the room, you focus on the posters of Barnaby. The eyes are scratched out on every one, almost like someone took a knife or pin and scraped the pointed end against the poster. You can even see the scratch marks in the wood. Your wonder increases, causing you to search a few of the drawers.

🗞️ You find old clothing, such as suits, ties, pants and the likes. On a desk by the bedside, you see a small jewelery box. You open it, finding a collection of sun shaped pins, cufflinks, and even a few sets of sun and moon earrings in small plastic bags. You pick a set of earrings up, looking at them closely. They seem to be made with real gems. There are notes on each bag, every one saying "To the One". If you had to guess, this man might've been a hopeless romantic! How cute!

🗞️ You hear the door open, seeing both Amy and Finn run in, out of breath. Finn seems to be holding a paper, showing it to you "I... I found the guy that wrote the messy writing! Apparently, he is related to Caesar Jones, the voice actor and creator of Wally! I-" he cuts himself off, looking around "Holy... what is this place?" You grin "This is the room of William Dorelaine! He is the brother of the original creator, Ronald Dorelaine!"

🗞️ Amy looks around, her eyes settling on something by the door. She walks over, before there is a heavy clunking, then a small huff comes out of her mouth. She turns, holding a hatchet in her arms. "This man must be very obsessed with suns and moons. Even his hatchets match that theme. Kind of like Wally with apples..." "What's that? ... Why would he have this?"

🗞️ Both you and Amy look over to Finn, seeing him holding a newspaper. "I found this under his mattress. Here, let me read it out..."

"CULT LEADER FOUND DEAD IN POLICE STATION! The leader of the mysterious cult tormenting town has been found dead in the local police station this afternoon, after being arrested at the parking lot of Playfellow Workshop. It is currently suspected that the sheriff, Sheriff Dekker, killed him after being provoked by the leader, Father Simon "Luna" Johnson. There was a note found in his cell, mentioning how he has been "crucified by the public" and how he shall be a "martyr for the truth". He also wrote down how he shall be resurrected, returning to earth in a body that his followers will recognize instantly by their actions."

🗞️ You all look around at each other. Finn pauses, before saying "There are a few scribbles on the page. Little notes. It is in the same handwriting as William. "Look for the values" and "I must find it", with the last one saying "Sunshine, Sunshine, I love Sunshine", almost like a name instead of just the word." You look over to the jewelry box, remembering the earrings. "I... I feel like we should go..."

🗞️"Come on, (Y/N), a little creepy newspaper article doesn't mean anything. I mean, from what we heard from Mr. Jones' relative, he was really into investigating cults. Maybe William was the same?" Finn nods, explaining "Yeah. He just liked looking into them. How about this? I'll take this book I found. The lock on it should be easy to crack open with my pliers, at home, and we can all look into it, tomorrow. If we find nothing of concern, we will come back to investigate more." Amy then takes the jewelry box, adding on a quick "I just think these are pretty neat!"

🗞️ You look at the book, the unnerving symbol giving you a sense of dread. The symbol seems to be a sun and moon crammed together, with a hourglass in the center. There are a few stains of red on the edges of the hardcover, with a few more on the pages. You swallow, nodding. "Sure. I'm going to go outside, now. Let the Dorelaines know what you took, okay?"

🗞️ As you begin your walk home, you get a call from your mother. Answering, you hear her speak in the harsh tone she uses when upset or annoyed "(Y/N), what have you done know?" "What do you mean, mom? I did nothing! I just went around town, and-!" "There's a man here! He says he is a Dorelaine! Says he wants to talk to you! You better be here quickly, or else I'll lose my temper with him! Keeps talking about Sunshine, like a madman!"

Got to LOTM Volume 3!!!!!! Yippee!!! Oh, man, the story just keeps getting better and better. Miss Ctrl+alt+delete really saved Klein’s ass back there in the Vol 2 end fight (RIP Old Kohler I liked him noooooooooooo why Cuttlefishhhh). Will halt the LOTM art every time I finish a volume thing for now. I wanna do a thing when I finish all the volumes and make a collage or something.

-Klein agrees to help catch an affair and gets tangled in ten other matters at once. Purely through. Coincidence. Sure. Sure sure. Yeah. Haha. Coincidence. Right..

Vol 3 thoughts so far :

-Danitz is hilairous. I absolutely adore his character and his chaotic energy when combined with Gehrmann. It’s a weird variant of stupid and smart except it’s stupid by circumstance and smart outside, panicking inside. Anyways it’s a great combo of flavors.

-I love, love the Gehrmann Sparrow persona and Klein’s occasional contradictory thoughts and internal panic. That said, the latter makes me sad reading them sometimes. Like he’s just. On high alert. Dude is like “o yea this is nothing I’ve seen/heard/encountered worse :D” like it’s a good thing… the only way it’s a good thing is that if you’re Klein and Klein specifically.

-on that note, WHY CAN’T KLEIN JUST GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP COME ON

-“this is madness” I felt something there and it’s a bad feeling

-Klein’s list of jobs so far : secret police, detective, cult leader, professional schemer, dropshipper, seer, clown, magician, Batman, assassin, food enthusiast, adventurer, bounty hunter, and also, babysitter

-Klein’s list of crimes grows in adjacent to his list of occupations

Finally!! The lamb!!!!!! I love drawing them so much, they're so fun! Also their design has given me pretty good practice with drawing curly hair so that's a bonus. Yadda yadda headcanons or whatnot

Chooses kindness as much as possible. Actively tries to protect those who cannot protect themselves. For this reason, they are ENTIRELY pissed at Narinder once they figure out that he wasn't actually the victim here

Forgiving, but honestly a little sadistic at times. This scares them a little

Treats their cult as a family. A community. Everyone knows everyone because there are like, 20 people at a time max. Including the bishops.

Any/all pronouns (but everyone just defaults to they/them)

HIGHLY emotional and prone to snapping if they don't take downtime between cruisades. Unintentionally scares their followers sometimes and feels really bad about it (but sometimes does it intentionally out of frustration bcs followers can be dumbasses)

Convinced that they can help fix the bishops' familial issues (somefuckinhow). Befriends the bishops fairly quickly when they realize that the lamb is honestly just trying to help (plus they feel a bit guilty for genociding the lambs in the first place)

Real name is Lazelle, but everybody either calls him leader or lamb. The only ones who know their name choose not to use it.

Has a close-knit friendship with the crown. The crown keeps pushing the lamb to indulge and be more selfish, but as a creature born literally to serve others, the lamb is borderline incapable of being selfish. The crown gets excited when she snaps at others.

Playful with their followers, active parent for the children, and willing to indulge his followers' requests, even if they're stupid. (Sure, why not. Eat all the poop you want, I don't care.)

Plus some bonus headcanons for the crown! Yippee!!

Ok so i actually have a shit ton of oc but the main ones are Maria and Aelius as they are the main characters of a story I’m making. My friend’s oc Romeo is also important to the story

I have two oc stories, one doesn’t really have a name but basically takes place over tens of years in medieval Europe (basic i know) but it follows the rivalry between a knight named Courage and an “oracle” named Destiny. They’re both immortal btw and they’re basically humanized concepts of courage and destiny. I do have a drawing of Destiny posted. It should be in my “oc: destiny” tag.

The other story is actually a collection of stories. The series is called god & goddesses bc i don’t have a permanent name for it.

So far there’s 4 stories which are all interconnected and two are sorta interconnected but the most developed, important, and oldest one (4 years old!!) is the last story.

I’ll try to summarize it in a way that is still understandable but it’s basically colonization and genocide through the eyes of a god.

Ok some background information bc you’re gonna need it:

There are several religions existing in the world. These religions are divided into major (large) religions and minor (small, folk) religions. Every god from every religion (granted that they have enough believers) exist

Gods from the major religions (major gods) created something called the Major Pantheon which is consisted of every major god

The major gods created a sort of government to basically make sure major conflicts between religions don’t break out

The people in the government are called Higher Gods

There are laws in the major pantheon that apply to all gods

There is a social hierarchy but its not as important to this story

I’m not gonna list all the laws out but the important ones are (the bully points after this isn’t indented bc idk how to indent on mobile):

Gods are not allowed to create cults, encourage the creation of cults, or engage with cult members

Gods are only allowed minor interactions with humans (there’s more to this law but the rest isn’t that important to the story)

Maria is a major goddess of spring, she has a younger sister, Anastasia, and two older sisters, Tatiana and Olya (if you recognize these names from somewhere, no you don’t). Theta recall based off of seasons, Tatiana is especially important because she is also a higher god. She is also mixed white and indigenous (located around Eastern Europe and north Asia)

Aelius is a sun god from another religion (which i will call the Old Religion). While he is powerful and trusted, he is not a higher god. He is white (would be Mediterranean irl)

Romeo is in love with Aelius and a human, he is a poc

It’s told as a myth from a young woman, a foreigner, to a boy who’s native to the village the woman has immigrated to.

The myth tells the tale of Maria who is forced to leave her home and disguise herself as a human after Aelius destabilizes the major pantheon, murders and influences gods to murder each other, including Maria’s family. After the village she was hiding in is taken over by Aelius’s soldiers, Maria is forced to relocate to the Empire which is under Aelius’s control. There she finds an underground revolution and joins in. When the Revolution breaks out, it seems to have a chance of actually succeeding until the military is called in and crushes the Revolution in a massacre. Maria is distraught but then creates a plan to infiltrate the religious system and get close enough to kill Aelius. She is taken in as a seamstress’s apprentice. She eventually meets a man named Romeo who wanders in, wanting to be taught how to sew. They end up striking a friendship and Maria becomes comfortable enough to talk about her ideals and goals of revolution. Turns out, Romeo is actually the leader of Aelius’s religion, and disguised himself as a commoner to escape his role that he feels uncomfortable and unfit for. Romeo doesn’t dare to expose his identity but he does end up internalizing some of Maria’s beliefs and working to subtly implement them. Maria does eventually find Romeo’s true identity and feel betrayed but decides to use her friendship with Romeo to her advantage. Before maria kickstarts the revolution, she does confront Romeo about being in universe pope, they basically talk it out and shit. Maria begins the revolution by fighting and murdering Aelius and then sets fire to the capital of the empire.

There’s more to this and i can explain it to you in detail if you want but yeah that’s basically the summary of story 4 of g&g. I also would love to talk about certain themes of story 4 like divinity as dehumanization if you want me to. I also have several Pinterest boards of Maria, Aelius, Destiny, courage, and more if you want me to share them to you. 👍👍👍

OC STUFF FOR ANYONE THAT CARES

MWEAHHA I'm so evil I have so much updates for him (no one reads my posts)

Jack has killed the entity that has been terrorizing his multiverse, which comes with a lot of thinking to do because!!!

1, Gods as powerful as Euclid (the entity) can only be fully killed by blood relatives, they have to be killed by either their siblings or parents, otherwise they respawn after being killed

2, Jack knew that Euclid was his sibling but Euclid didn't realize that until they felt themselves dying, Euclid has only felt real pain twice in their life, this being the second time, so obviously they started begging and pleading, especially since they found out they had a real family.

Gunna cut stuff here cuz the post is getting long

Ok so Euclid is dead, awesomesauce now no one can destroy their universe, everything is great!!!

Well, Jack isn't, Jack doesn't like killing, he only kills people if it's his job as a god, and even then he feels bad if the person isn't a bad person in his eyes.

So when faced with his creator, the boy was terrified, he thought he had done something downright unredeemable, Apate, his creator only really comes out of its mindspace if a character needs to be taken out or just destroyed completely so no one even remembers them.

Apate didn't come out to do that, no instead he gave Jack a deal of a lifetime

“ Don't you want to be a cult leader? “

Turns out, Euclid had a cult that loved them and would do anything for them, Euclid didn't even know of this cult (aka I didn't know about it until I made it up for the plot) but Apate found it after Euclid died

So Apate offered him to take over Euclid’s place, be the God all gods are terrified of, be the one to rule everything, Be the most powerful being — not just in his universe, but across all the multiverse, oh and also have a cult, which was much more appealing to Jack.

One thing about Jack! And I've posted this before, he was in a cult when he was young, he was treated like royalty by his pastor (cult leader) not because he was a boy, no because he was the pastor’s favourite, the pastor loved him (more than adults should love kids) he experienced a lot more trauma than everyone in his cult but excused it because the pastor treated him good (no he didn't.)

So when faced with a cult, his very own, a cult that worshipped him, loved him, cared for him, and would do anything for him, Jack caved in, he said yes, he needed to be back in his origin, to go through it again, to keep the cycle going, because if there is no cycle Jack is nothing, Jack doesn't know who he is if he isn't either being love-bombed or mistreated (real, I forget Jack is based around me sometimes 😞)

WOOOO ok so everyone is all caught up!! yippee!!!

Jack is currently in a break period which means nothing that happens in canon is affecting him yet since the universal events are put on hold. most nobles are all beholden to gortash’s mind control, or completely susceptible to his charms and idea of the steel watch. the ones that aren’t, gortash wants u to kill for him in his elaborate cat and mouse game with the player where he wants to form a proper partnership. all the while, ur also going into the lower city and helping oocal unions work against the crimes of the dead three and the guild, only for the guild to eventually side with you as theyre PROFESSIONAL criminals—and too much senseless death is bad for business.

orin keeps sending u bodies as love notes, n just fenerally appearing unhinged as both noble and merchant alike. trust no one.

orin of course kidnaps a party member. by default, i want to say its wyll as having the son of the frandduke is a better token for politics. u can realize hes a fake bc he is NOT INCREASINGLY UNHINGED N FRAZZLED IN THE SEARCH FOR HIS FATHER. before wyll is taken out, he left a map with the location of the iron throne

this then leads to u deciding between taking down the steel watch, saving the gondonians, etc, to “save” wyll, or still siding with gortash. either way u can save wyll, bc duh, but if u side with gortash, and DON’T go save ulder, he kills ulder, and wyll will try to kill him and be killed in the process.

you of course can also kill both orin AND gortash! (wyll heavily approves.)

by default, you save wyll, you then go save the gondonians and ulder, u disable the steel watch, u free florick from the prison, u free the wyrm, wyll has to make the difficult decision of whether he wants to rule baldur’s gate or be his own man,

and then u fight gortash, gortash becomes a political prisoner either under ulder or wyll, they go fight the netherbrain, the dead three are defeated, yippee

except NO, because there are still HUNDREDS of refugees outside baldur’s gate. ansur has been killed, thatsa big enough crime to start a new cult abt. the tiamut cultists want their stolen gold back from what remains of bhaals chosen. the guild has more power than ever. vanthampur hasnt been taken care of. most of the nobles believe in gortash n not the ravengards, the flaming fist is in shambles, the steel watch has turned to shit, the amnh can finally take away bg’s power from the council of the sword coast, there are TWO VACANT DUKE SEATS, elections to be had, there is literally NO SPACE for the refugees, there Awill Be a struggle of politics, wyll will gave to fend off assasination attempts as he tries to do The Right thing

theres also the githyanki, the shar thing, the vampire spawn, gale and the mystra of it all, karlach in avernus.

and they STILL HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING TO STOP ZARIEL FROM BALDING THAT GATE!

wyll either has to go to avernus with karlach and (ur party) and try to find the sword of zariel becoming a badass hell pirate in the process, making deals with war bosses and shit, ending with the party deciding who the NEW leader of hell is

wyll stays behind in bg3 and cleans up the absolute (teehee) mess left behind, while dreaming of avernus

also thus isnt “canon” to descent of avernus, but i want ulder to be like, kinda posessed by visions from baphomet that make him kind of ill, lol.

Fuck the Mormon church (again)

I sent an ask a few months ago about how I'd be stuck in the cult for two more years before I could move out, and I'm happy to say that I was wrong! I ended up telling my parents that I no longer believe in it, and they took it fairly well. My mom is even doing her own research into the organization and finding out all the shitty stuff it's done and covered up.

I'm still not going to be entirely free from it, since the church tends to be very pushy with trying to get people to come to meetings and stuff. But eventually I hope to live a normal life free from the control of this cult and its creepy old leaders. Yippee [insert tbh creature confetti gif]

Anyways, fuck the Mormon church for its blatant sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, gaslighting, etc etc etc. <3

there's this song i was listening to recently and i feel like it might be a pretty decent like, like song that would follow what oremeru thinks about of tatsumi from his old revolution days- or something. might be super missing the mark but yeah i thought it matched kinda what oremeru's thoughts about tatsumi are like??? First of all, if you don’t mind me being obnoxiously prouful of being called “The Obbligato person”, you came to the right place! This is a 0 days since last thinking about Obbligato blog, so thank you very much for sending me an ask! Yippee even.  Also. Briefly noting that I’ve never listened to this song before, but I ended up liking it lotsies. Shoutout for bringing new music to my Vocaloid playlist o7 [one last minor note is that I usually tend to use Kaname when talking about kaname tojo and HiMERU when talking about oremeru specifically, when diwscussing the two. thought I should clarify that]

Okay, back to the main topic of the ask. I do see your vision oh so clearly re: how HiMERU would see Tatsumi and his revolution. Especially in ways it affected Kaname, who, as far as HiMERU is concerned, was a victim of it (and my extention, of Tatsumi, who mislead him etc etc like a cult leader would mislead his followers etc etc. There is a discussion to be had about HiMERU projecting the guilt he feels, - for not being close to Kaname before, not knowing what was going on until it was too late, - on a person who *was* close to Kaname. But I think I am going off-topic with this). 

Even if you analyze the song beyond the general theme of “religious leader ends up persecuted by their own previously deeply loyal followers”, I can see how you could connect it to the Reimei Revolution, and Tatsumi’s role in it.

This was how people treated Tatsumi, wasn’t it? He became an unreachable, infallible, almost God-like figure to them. He would hear out your problems, he would make your wishes come true. He loved everyone, and he loved everyone equally. Even Jun called the meetings Tatsumi had with his followers in the Catacombs a cult.

As HiMERU himself said, in his old Obbligato line, “No matter how much you praise Tatsumi, you’ll remain the same in his eyes” (Ship of Fools - 1, tl by @/hyenahunt). From HiMERU’s point of view, Kaname became one of Kazehaya’s “blind believers”, throwing away his life, - metaphorically, refusing the easier route towards becoming the idol he dreams of being for the sake of joining the Revolution in the end, and, as it ended up, literally, ending up in a coma. And even if you touch on the “devouring even those wishes of theirs” part… “What is it you want? What is it you wish for? Money? Work? Fame? Affection? Peace of mind? Whatever it is you ask of me, I will grant to you.” (The Devotion to Tatsumi Kazehaya - 8, tl by @/hyenahunt). Tatsumi would hold out his hand for the suffering people around him (Jun even mentions at some point him often talking people out of suicide), would promise to make their wish come true and then bend over backwards to do so (usually with zero regards for himself in the process). Those people would follow him, with almost religious fevor, fuelling the revolution machine, which would then turn around and plow through Tatsumi and Kaname all the same.
