I love how when Viggo gets mad every single shine in his eyes dissapear like the most disturbing thing is about to spill out of his mouth

Y'know what, "dear" Hiccup?

Viggo throws a live ferret at him and runs away

"AAaaaah! For the love of Thor! Where did that ferret come from?? Were you holding that the whole time?!"

A scrawny, black cat approaches and meows loudly...

"Hm?" Seeing the cat, he knelt down, holding a hand out to it. "Hey, little guy. You look a little hungry...Did you want some fish?"

Problem is there WAS one Viggo, but he just split into two, and two into four, and now there's about 4000 of them. They're all asleep, they sleep all the time. So I doubt they'd be harmful.

The original one still has a burnt eye.

"But that's...you're so casual about this. There's nothing normal about someone splitting into two. Regardless of how they sleep all the time, how do you not find this unsettling? Disturbing, even?"

Hiccup do these not look like LYCAN WINGS.

"That's good! But what's the problem? Did they not always have wings and tails?"

The cat let out a chuff, remaining where it was for a bit before it got up and walked around. It nuzzled his legs (probably rubbing it's scent on him) and sneezing.

"Meow."

Straightening up as well, Hiccup ran a hand through his hair as he continued to wonder where the cat had wandered from.

It wasn't uncommon to keep cats on ships, to chase and hunt down any rats that had found their way on board.

Perhaps this cat was one of them, and managed to stay ashore while the ship it came on left the docks?

"Gesundheit."

"Well, I guess it doesn't matter too much where you're from. Why don't we get you a little cleaned up, hm?"

Hesitantly, he went to pick up the car, seeing if it gave any indication of whether it would allow him to do so.

The cat laid down on it's side, on Hiccup's boots. It sniffed him before letting out another curious meow. It had a little marking on it's chest, like a moon. The cat reached a paw up and gently pawwed at his hands. "Mrrrp..."

He laughed lightly. "I probably smell like fish, don't I?"

When it pawed at his hands, he took that as an invitation to pet it.

Running his hand along the cat's back, he spoke softly.

"You know, there aren't many cats on Berk...so where did you come from?"

The black cat took the fish, chewing it hastily out of hunger. It looked rather banged up, but it didn't seem to be too badly injured. It looked at him and licked his hand, before nuzzling him.

"You've been through some things, haven't you?" Passing the cat a second fish, in case it needed more, he stayed in place to not spook it.

As it licked his hand and nuzzled him, he let out a light chuckle. "Oh, you want to be friends, then? Okay, I know a place you'll like, as long as you don't mind having dragons around..."

Mitzy shook it's head. "See I was a little kid too. I didn't deserve to see my dad get crushed by rocks. Just like you didn't deserve to see yours die from your own dragon."

Mitzy sighed, it's face softened. "Fine, fine FINE. I'll stay. Let's just change the subject. And for the love of Thor, don't ask dad about why he cant have anymore kids."

Eyes down, he shook his head. "No, no you didn't."

"Why would I ever--" He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Forget it, you don't have to worry about that." Taking a breath, he placed his hands on his hips. "Okay, so, the plan for tomorrow is to take measurements of your wings, and finding a suitable material that can help you to fly again. We'll... we'll take Viggo to Gothi, see if she has any remedies for his eyesight, then see what she can do about those burns."

"We have huts for visitors, you and your dad can stay in one of those for the night." Picking up a stick, he drew a quick map in the dirt, showing it where to go.

"I should get home, Astrid will be wondering where I went off to. Will you be alright?"

"Oh it knows." Viggo muttered. He had his back turned, and he was drinking more mead. "Don't judge, it helps deal with the stress." He said, knowing Hiccup was watching him. "If you can somehow fix my baby, I'll stop being rude to you. But right now, you're the most annoying person I've ever met."

Hiccup let out a sigh, keeping his voice calm. "Viggo, I really don't care what you do. But I can promise I'll do my best to help Mitzy."

Turning back to it, his expression softened. "Look, Mitzy, why don't you come back with me to Berk for a few days? I'll work on a solution for your wings, and we'll see what Gothi can do to help your other injuries."
