Sadly I feel like the best opportunity to develop Paul and Asha has been and gone. We've had the Paul centric plotline this season and there was only one offhand mention of her from Marjan, and I feel like the writers haven't done enough with her to justify giving in her any real focus in the last 5 ever episodes of the show. Which just makes me even more pissed that we didn't get a full 18 episode season 😭

I... yeah. Not to be salty on main here, but I'm always going to be a little pissed about the lack of a full season for their send off and also the minimum screen time and development Paul has gotten throughout the seasons. Given that it's the final season and it's already been filmed, there's not much to be done about it and therefore no reason for me to dwell on it for too long. However... just know that the self proclaimed number one Paul Stan is Not Happy about it.

I wish the show had given Brian more to work with through the years. He's a fantastic actor and Paul is such an important character especially on a network procedural like this. It feels as though they only ever gave him surface level, one-off episode content and nothing to really sink his teeth into like they've given to other characters/actors. I am using all my powers of manifestation that Brian gets booked in something spectacular after this that really respects his talents and gives him just... more.

Are ideas and what not still welcome? If so: 

I have a little head cannon for one of Ekko's and Jinx's dates; after Jinx learns how to fly on a hoverboard, they often go out for a night flight rather than a walk. The whole get to know each other again thing. Being showy people their flights get increasingly intricate until they basically end up doing little acrobatic dances in the air. Stepping from one to the other board, spinning around and upside down, catching each other and what will you. It's strangely intimate as it takes a lot of trust.

Especially placed in the Firelight Jinx AU.

No one outside the sanctuary can know about their relationship or Jinx in general. She is a wanted criminal and he's harboring a fugitive.

Whenever they go on hoverboard dates, they can simply let loose and have fun.

Jinx and Ekko are protective of each other and have complete trust that the other will catch them.

(In the Chromocrash trailer, Jinx jumps out a building and Ekko catches her💕)

The adrenaline course through them as they feel like they're about to fall from the sky only for the other to catch them.

Their pupils are diluted and eyes glazed over, they have wide ecstatic grins, and laugh boisterously from their high.

When their lips meet, the stars and moon are the only witness to the couples love.
